The American Line, AKA The Rest Of The Characters
Me: Hey, guys! Welcome back to another episode of Ask Musical Characters! Say hi, everyone!
Everyone: Hi!
Lafayette: Bonjour!
Usnavi and Sonny: Hola!
Hercules: BRAH!
Me: Today's question is from SamBam260.
Me: Okay, who wants to go first?
(Everyone who is not a Brit raises their hand, aka 95% of the people here.)
Me: Ooh, boy...
Catherine of Aragon: How are we gonna decide who goes when?
Me: Okay, we'll do a three-way game of rock paper scissors. The main characters from each musical will play, so that means, Alex, Usnavi, and Veronica, come on up!
(Hamilton, Usnavi, and Veronica come to the center of the room.)
Hamilton: Okay... rock, paper, scissors, shoot!
(Hamilton and Usnavi do scissors, while Veronica does paper)
Veronica: Darn!
Me: That means "Heathers" goes last.
Hamilton and Usnavi: Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!
(They tie.)
Hamilton and Usnavi: Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!
(Usnavi does rock, and Hamilton does paper)
Hamilton: I win!
Me: Congratulations. So, Hamilton characters minus King George, what's your favorite memory of America?
The Hamilsquad: Pwning the British during the Battle of Yorktown.
The queens and King George: Rude!
Me: Wait. Where did you learn that [A/N "Pwn" is NOT a swear word or anything like that, don't worry. It means to utterly defeat someone]? No one says "pwn" anymore.
King George: (about the Hamilsquad's answer) WHY AM I NOT SUPRISED?
Jefferson: My favorite memory is winning Cabinet Battles against Hamilton.
Hamilton: Hey, Jefferson. Are you sure it's YOU winning against ME or the other way around?
Madison: Guys...
Jefferson: Do you REALLY want to do this?
Hamilton: You best tread REAL lightly at the next cabinet meeting tomorrow! (Gets parchment and quill, writes furiously)
Burr: What are you doing?
Hamilton: Planning my attack.
Eliza: Well, my favorite memory was getting married to my husband.
Me: Oh, that's so sweet!
Eliza: Yep. It was the best day of my life!
Angelica: Hey, I was the one who introduced him to you!
Hamilton: Okay, ladies, settle down, there's plenty of Alex to go around!
Me: (Half blushes, half snickers)
Peggy: Speaking of the wedding, why wasn't I maid of honor?
Eliza: Uh... well, I-
Burr: Uh, my favorite memory was when my daughter Theodosia was born!
Anne Boleyn: You have a daughter?
Burr: Of course I have a daughter! The day she was born was the best day of my life!
Philip: (Blushing at the mention of Theodosia. To himself..) It must have been.
Angelica: My favorite memory was when my sisters and I were at the common, spreading Revolutionary fervor!
Peggy: Yeah! I remember that day, it was one of my favorite memories, too! Didn't Burr try to hit on you?
Burr: Well...
Angelica: Let's not talk about that.
Madison: Wait, Burr tried to hit on Angelica? (Shudders)
Philip: My favorite memory is back when I recited a poem that I wrote for my pops when I was nine.
Eliza: You were so cute back then!
Philip: Mom!
Me: Okay, let's move on to the kids of the barrio! What's your favorite memory of the Heights?
Daniela: Well, we all decided on the day we found out that someone won $96,000 in the lottery.
Hamilton: What happened?
Usnavi: Well, Sonny asked me to check a ticket I sold and it turned out that the numbers matched and it was worth 96K.
Benny: We did this whole song and dance number about it.
Carla: Yeah, everyone was going crazy and fantasizing about what they would do if they won.
Nina: Wait, WHAT?! I missed a big crowd number AGAIN? First "In The Heights" and now THIS?!
J.D.: Wait, who won? That's a lot of money! (Under his breath) I could by a lot of bombs with that money!
Veronica: (Hearing him) Jason Dean!
Vanessa: Well, Abuela Claudia won. Unfortunately, she passed away.
(The "Heights" characters take a moment to pay respects silently.)
Me: Alabanza, Doña Claudia! She will be missed! Moving on. What about the students of Westerburg High?
Heather C.: Getting Veronica to make a fake note from Ram to Martha.
Veronica: Yeah... not MY favorite memory...
Heather D.: Well... I have this song that I have written about the moment I found out that Heather Chandler had tragically died. (Pretends to choke up) It's called "Wearing Red To A Funeral".
Anne Boleyn: Wait a minute!
Heather D.: Please sing along if you know the words.
(Music plays)
Heather D.: (Singing) Heather was a massive c-
The queens and any semi-responsible person in the room: NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Anne Boleyn: No one ruins the masterpiece that is "Wearing Yellow To A Funeral"!
Catherine of Aragon: It's NOT a masterpiece!
Katherine Howard: And this is a PG show! [Bleep] is not an appropriate word at ALL in these settings.
Me: Uh... Katherine, you just said it. Okay... moving on... what about you, Veronica!
Veronica: Probably when I took the red scrunchie and ended the social ridicule in the school.
J.D.: My favorite memory was...
Veronica: Jason, you'd better not say anything unsettling!
J.D.:...When I met Veronica for the first time! Yeah!
Heather M.: My favorite memory was when Veronica saved my life.
Sonny: What did she do?
Heather M.: [A/N: Trigger warning- Mentions of suicidal feelings] Well, at one time, I was feeling suicidal and one day, I was in the bathroom and was going to overdose myself, when she came in and stopped me.
Catherine Parr: That is pretty heavy. Heather, you know that you have people who are here for you and that you are valued.
Heather M.: Thanks, Catherine.
Catherine Parr: Anytime.
Me: Okay... well it was fun hearing about everyone's favorite memories in their lives! That's all the time we have for "Ask Musical Characters"!
Veronica: Ask us anything in the comments below! See you guys next time!
Everyone: Bye!
