Sanders Sides
Me: Hey, guys! Welcome to another episode of Ask Musical Characters... we really need to come up with another name.
Everyone: (Mixed grunts and expressions of agreement)
Me: Anyway... today's request is by AngelDemongirl2237.
Sonny: The Sander Sides? I LOVE that!
Usnavi: Yeah, he watches it all the time.
Benny: All. The. Time.
King George: I dressed up as Roman from it! (Bitterly) I should have won that contest!
Hamilton: (Still in his Roger costume, leather jacket and all) Whatever. Stay salty!
Laurens: So... it's a series?
Me: Yeah. It is a web series. So, there is this guy, Thomas Sanders. He projects the different aspects of his personality into four different characters, and he has conversations with them and talks through his dilemmas and problems.
Angelica: Huh... that sounds good.
Catherine of Aragon: I guess.
Heather C.: Sounds boring! I could watch Sesame Street and get that same content.
Me: Shut up, Heather! Okay, so the episode we will be reacting to is "Can Lying Be Good?"
Everyone: (Chimes in with their opinions on the subject)
Me: Well... let's find out!

Mulligan: Woah! Is he really gonna transform himself.... oh...well, ya got me!
Philip: Woah! Chill, Thomas, what happened?
Veronica: HOLD UP! ONE AT A TIME, PLEASE, VIRGIL AND ROMAN!
Sonny: "Charlie Frown"! Ha! (Bursts out laughing)
Usnavi and Burr: Oi....
Burr: Roman's actually right! Senseless bickering doesn't get us anywhere! (Coughs) Hamilton!(Coughs) Jefferson!
Hamilton and Jefferson: Hey!
Madison: Okay... Logan is basically Washington during a cabinet meeting. He sifts through the nonsense.
Daniela: Oh, good! Logan is FINALLY explaining exactly what happened!
Benny: Ya gotta admit, you can't go wrong with "The Office"!
Me: Eh... I don't watch it, though. I prefer "Fuller House", but to each their own, I guess.
Veronica: Wait... WHAT? He just totally ghosted his friend? Wow...
Lafayette: Yeah! He could've just showed up during intermission instead of completely standing his friend up!
Alex: Yeah, that text would be something I would send if THAT happened to me.
Veronica: I actually would lie to get out of that situation.
(Several characters agree with her)
Eliza: I agree with Virgil! Lying only brings more trouble!
Philip: Yeah! The only person it works with is my dad! [A/N: Who gets the reference?]
Eliza and Hamilton: (Glare at Philip)
Nina: Oh, Immanuel Kant! I learned about him back in high school.
Me: I learned about him, too.
Carla: WOAH! Roman transformed into Joan.
Sonny: Cool, right?
(In the video, the claves to the opening of "In The Heights" play)
Me: Wait... Is it really... YES IT IS!! YAY!
Usnavi: Hey! An "In The Heights" parody! Not bad! (Rapping along) Lights up, on Roman disguised as Joan inside your brain, I wake up and I gotta try to train my guy to lie to Jane! (Realizes something) Wait... Jane?
Daniela: Awww... they can't do the whole song!
Me: Copyright issues. If he wanted to, he would have contacted Lin and go through all kinds of complicated stuff.
Anne Boleyn: Oh... so Roman is presenting hypothetical situations... starting with his mom.
J.D.: Patton... the classic high school theater teacher.
Heather D.: Wow, Logan... way to nerd it up!
Heather M.: Oh, the second "act" is between him and his boss.
Katherine Howard: Wow... I never knew there were different TYPES of lies.
King George: This is informative yet entertaining. Oh, and the next scene is him and the host of a party he's at...
J.D.: Hmm... "Lie of omission"... (He has been taking notes all this time.)
Peggy: WHOA, WHOA, WHOA!!! Back up here... did he just ask about the facts of life in this last scene?
Me: Yep...
Peggy: Wait... now they've moved on to a different thing in this scene... whew!
Heather M.: Ya gotta admit, Roman as a little kid is funny!
[Timeskip to near the end of the video]
Carla: Wow... that is some deep stuff.
Jefferson: Yep.
Eliza: And he IS right. Lying DOES affect the people around us big time. And you should NOT pretend that we're not flawed.
Hamilsquad: (Glare at King George)
King George: Hmph!
Me: Right. We learned a lot from this video in an entertaining way! And we DO need to work on our flaws. (Side-eyes King George and Heather C.) Each and every one of us... that will lead us to be more honest.
[Awkward silence]
Me: Wow... we got a little deep there! Anyway... that's all the time we have for today's episode! Feel free to drop a request, vote, and comment! Until next time!
Everyone: Bye!
