Personality:
Lana is a naturally kind and gentle person. She cares a lot for the people that are her friends and she would do anything in her power to protect them. Even if it meant sacrificing herself in anyway shape or form.

Backstory:
Lana came to Beacon Hills when she was separated from her pod after an enemy wiped them out. Most mermaids either didn't survive, or they lost their tail and their powers for life so they were forced to separate and retreat on land where their enemy couldn't find them.
