(HAVEN'T DONE THAT IN A WHILE)
Hearts and hooves day is normally a day I dread, when everything is surrounded in pink and hearts and girly things like that. Seriosly, whenever I go in to town, I'm surrounded by sales and pink. And red... BUT mostly pink. There are roses and chocolates and balloons that it litterly looks like pinkie pie just threw up pink glitter, then dumped a gigantic bucket of pink paint all over town. It's that bad. Not to mention all my closest girlfriends, aka the main 6, all have boyfriends. A.j's with caremel, rarity's with fancy pants, twi's always getting swarmed by people cause she's a princess, I think pinkies dating cheese, even fluttershy mangeges to get a date every year. Did I ever say that I always used to have guys Chase after me? Ever since I was little boys always dropped off flowers and cards and candy. It was sweet, as rarity says, personally I thought it was weird to have complete strangers that I didn't even know existed give me gifts and tried to convince my father to have there kids promise to marry me. But these past years, I accually look forward to hearts and hooves day. This holiday was the day soarin officially asked me out. I can still remember the day. 5 years ago.

Flashback
I was walking home from school. Alone. My freinds all had things to do after school that took longer than my things, and I wasn't used to walking home in scilence. I accidentally left my ear buds in my locker. Sometimes dusk dash brought me home, which I was never happy with. But he was in my, painful, past.
Soarin left early from school, which was weird, but I didn't think anything of it. Probably got a fever or something, no biggie. I was walking slowly home, as normal, not like I was in a hurry or looking forward to see an empty house. Accually, I was gonna go to an orphanage soon anyway. After the accident, my guardians refused to pay the hospital bill, and my mom couldnt pay for it scince she had her own hospital bill to pay for. She tried to pay for mine first, but i refused, saying that she needed more that me. I was there for a long time, longer than I was supposed to. I guess it was ok, I mean I faced time the girls and soarin with my laptop, and got a break from school, but the hospital was boring as watching paint dry. Rarity decorated alot of it, but still. What sucked was that bitch dusk got out of the hospital way before me, cause his injuries were not as severe, thanks to me. Lucky him, I was probably going to return him to the hospital myself, and make sure he didn't come out unless he was in a wheel chair or a messed up face.

Sometimes I hated my loyalty.

Finnaly I got out of the hospital cause my freinds accually had a fundraiser to get me out. It was accually soarin's idea. Anyways, Twilight then told me that the was accually a law that said that if my grandparents didn't take care of me, then it was child abuse and I could report them to the police. I wasnt the type of person to tell on people, I prefer to deal with it myself, but I had enough. Not to mention my father would probably report to the police in a heartbeat. So I did. And they went to court. I couldn't stay alone, so I was moving into an orphanage. Better than before, I guess. At least, I thought I was going to the orphanage. While walking, I decided to take a short walk at the park. I walked to the playground, which was empty, and sat on the swing, slowly pushing myself. I still remember the times when I was five, when my dad was pushing me in this exact swing. I slowly got tears in my eyes, and looked around, hoping no won could see me. I cry in private, but bearly in front of people. Who was I kidding, I mean, this was my father I was thinking of, one of the people that were closest to me. Suddenly, my phone vibrated. Turns out I got a text message from soarin.
Meat me you know where
The message said. Of course I knew where. My, or our, special place. So I did. I got up and walked to my place.

I was surprised with what I saw.

Someone had decorated everything!
The trees were stringed with lights, roses were placed on the ground, candles were placed everywhere. The snow glittered in the moonlight. I gasped. There was a note in the front of the trail of roses.

So I did. I followed the lights, still surprised with what I saw. When I finnaly got to the end of the trail, there was a picnic blanket on the ground and food. I looked around, hooping to find someone. And there he was.

Soarin.

He came from behind a tree, carrying 2 guitars. He handed me one and starded playing a song I knew how to play too. And then, to my surprise, he started singing.

Me and soarin ended the song and just stared at each other for a good long minute, when soarin just suddenly started laughing. That simple laughter made me start laughing, and soon, we were just laughing for no exact reson.
"And this isn't even all of it." He said too me. And what he told me next was one of the most exciting things in my life.
"You can live with me from now on. I have an extra room. Now you don't have to be alone at the orphanage. Surprise!" He said with a goofy grin on his face that I always loved and made me giggle.
Still giggling, I asked soarin.
"how did you plan this?"
"I have my ways." He told me. Then he walked up to me and hugged me with great passion. Then he whispered in my ear.
"Do you like it?"
"Soarin, I love it. It's beautiful.
thank you, I didn't wanna move into the orphanage very much." I whispered back. We hugged in compleat scilence for a while, just accepting the scilence when might never have again.
Suddenly, I asked him.
"Why did you do this?"
And with the reply I got I was convinced that he was the one for me.
"Because I love you dashie."
Because I love you...
Flashback over

After that me and soarin have been dating ever scince. We always celebrate our anniversary and valentine's day at the same time, but we didn't find it any more special if our anniversary was on a different day. We accually didn't do anything too sappy, I remember our last anniversary we jusy went flying and got super tired by doing races. It was still one of the best days of my life, but rarity almost fainted when I told her that was all we did.

Anyways, I was just waking into town, cause I needed some groceries. I ran out of cereal. Then, like, so many perves just asked me out. Are you kidding me. Seriosly, I got buried with flowers and chocolates. I keeped them, but everyone knew I was dating soarin. We've been dating for five years. Needed to get away from the crowed, I walked into sugarcube corner, where surprisingly, all the main 6 was there. With there dates. Soarin had some things to take care of at the wonderbolt H.Q, but he told me he'll be back as soon as possible.
Pinkie pie was working, but cheese was helping her, so that kinda counted as a date.
"Yo! Pinkie!" I yelled out.
She turned around.
"OH HII DASHIE!!" She yelled out.
I sat down, obviously wanting to order something. She zoomed up to me, wearing a pink, glittery apron. She was carrying the notepad to take my order down in her hair, while still balincing 4 plates on each hand. Don't ask. It's pinkie pie logic.
"What can I getcha?" She asked energeticly.
"Ummm, lemme get the strawberry shake, extra Rainbow sprinkles, whipped cream, and..."
"Two cherries?" She asked me.
"You know me two well."
"ON the house!" She said, zooming in the kitchen. Cheese was at the front desk, and I had nothing else to do, so I decided to start a conversation with him.
"Hey, cheese!"
"Oh, hi Rainbow! What's up!"
He really was the perfect match for pinkie.
"Meh, nothing much, apart from getting swarmed by perves in this town."
"HA ha, well good luck with that! Hey, weren't you gonna celebrate today with soarin?"
"Yeah, but he had things to to at the H.Q, hes coming soon though."
"Oh." Cheese sighed. "I've been thinking about this question for a while, dash. Why is today called heats and hooves day? I asked pinkie pie, but she gave me an answer that just confused the hell outta me!"
"Shes like that cheese. That why we all love her. Anyway, I asked Twilight the same thing a few days ago, and she told me that a long time ago, a stamped of Bulls evaded the town, bur the mayor's daughter was stuck. As you can guess, a pony saved her from the stampede, but the pony died in the process. They named the pony hearts, from the daughters choise. Then the mayor named the holiday hearts and hooves day. The hooves represent the pony and bulls." I explained
"Well, that explination made a hole lot more sence!"
Suddenly, pinkie pie came out of the kitchen and gave me my order.
After i finished my drink, I asked pinkie if she needed any help around the kitchen, which she gladly accepted. I worked for a good 3 hours, when then soarin came in the bakery.
"May I take your- Oh hi soar!" I exclamed.
"Hey, Dashie!" He said and gave me a quick kiss.
"So, are you done with your job? Cause I got bored and started working hear."
"Yes, I'm done. Comon, I want to show you something."

"REALLY!" I asked, my eyes glittering with excitement.
"Really!" He said.
I took off my apron that pinkie gave me, and let soarin take my hand.
"Dashie, can you get that cloud down. I don't have any wings, sadly."
"Ok, sure, for what?" I said and flew up to get it.
"You'll see."
I came back down with the cloud, and both me and soarin got on it. He had a cloud walking spell that Twilight gave him.

I nuzzled up in his body, and he put his arm around me, and we started flying. I didn't know where he was taking me, but I could see that it was gonna be near the mountains.
Finnaly, the cloud stoped. Me and soarin were just staring at the sunset, in compleat scilence. Then he asked me.
"Dashie, there's something I wanted to ask you..." He asked me.
"Yeah? You can tell me everything, you know that soarin. What is it?" I replied
He then pointed at the sky, and there was six airplanes, and they started to spell something out. It wasn't untill the airplanes finished spelling out what they were wrighting.
"Will you marr-!" I gasped and covered my mouth with both hands.
He then stood up, then got on one knee.
"Rainbow dash, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"
I had tears in my eyes as I said.
"Yes, of course I'll marry you, you big goof!" I said and giggled.
Still giggling, I asked soarin.
"how did you plan this?"
"I have my ways." He said. Then he walked up to me and hugged me with great passion. Then he whispered in my ear.
"Do you like it?"
"Soarin, I love it. It's beautiful.
