Chapter 1
The picture is Akira
Sorry this part is so long and you don't even get to meet the boys but it was needed to set Akira's background up, her relationship to Yui and all that stuff.
Anyway I hope you like this and the rest of the story, I have many good idea for this book so please enjoy and feel free to comment any suggestions of cute scenes to want to see in it or anything like that. I'll be sure to include as many as I can within the story line and credit will of course be given :))

Akari suddenly sat up straight in her bed. Her breathing was heavy, her throat dry and her body covered in a cold sweat. She took a deep breath in and out, trying to gain control of her rapid breathing. She placed a hand over her heart, it was going at a million miles and hour. She slowly took the covers off her and was thankful when the cold nights air drenched her burning skin. She slung her legs over the edge of her single bed and placed her bare feet on the wooden floor. She reached to her right and grabbed her phone, she was awake 3 hours before she was meant to be up. Typical. There was no point trying to get back to sleep now...not after seeing that again.
She pulled herself up off the bed and walked over to the window. She opened the curtains to see the full moon looking down at her. She opened the window and ran a hand through her fiery red hair. It was long, too long. It was down to her waist now, she had been neglectful. She never usually lets it get that long but her mind had been distracted recently. She sighed and walked into her small bathroom. She switched on the light, squinting at the bright light attacked her tired eyes, she walked over to the sink. She turned on the tap and splashed her face with cold water, rubbing it in she pulled the hair off her face that had stuck to her because of the sweat. She looked at herself. She had always been told that she was beautiful, her hair had always gotten her a lot of attention. Unwanted attention, she would rather just hang out in the shadows and go unnoticed by the world. Her dark purple eyes reminded her of her Mother.
She had passed when Akira was just 11 years old. It was more like murdered really. Impure vampires had invaded her small town, there were only 5 of them but they sacked the whole village in a matter of minutes. One of the victims being Akira's mother. She had stabbed herself to draw the vampires attention from Akira. As that vampire drained her mother of blood she begged her child to run but Akira didn't, she couldn't. Her Mother was all she had. Her Father had upped and left before she was born, if she didn't have her Mother with her then she didn't want to live. She would have rather have died right there and then. After the initial fear had passed Akira was filled with a pure rage, a rage she had never felt before and one that had never subsided. She had grabbed a silver butchers knife on their wooden table and charged. She had leaped on her mothers attacks back and began relentlessly stabbing, tears were streaming down her face but she didn't;'t stop. She stabbed and stabbed until it had stopped moving. When it had she slowly dropped the knife and rushed to her mother. She laid her mother head on her lap and looked at the blood pouring from her neck. She placed a hand on it, trying to stop it but it was useless. Her Mother was pale and couldn't move, a warm pool of her blood surrounded them and that's where she died. Nothing Akira could do. She could never remember how long she sat there holding her Mother's corpse for. It must have been hours at least. Until the church came, a small league within the church of vampire hunters who had arrived at the scene too late to save anyone but Akira.
Since then she had trained to be a vampire hunter. She was good, a little too good. Other training were scared of her. When they went on mission, they way she relentlessly cut down anything that stood in her way was terrifying but she had a natural talent for it. It's not like she felt anything whilst or after doing it. These things caused only pain and death, she was doing the world a favour by destroying them. Now she was about to enter a house full of 6 pure blooded vampires and she was forbidden from killing any of them unless they moved to kill Yui. A guard dog, protection. Although Yui had no idea what she was walking into but because of what she was...and the heart inside her the church had no choice but to send her into the house. Even the vampire hunters didn't dare raise a finger against Karl Heinz. There was a difference between killing the empire vampire and the pure ones, they were much harder to kill. Harder but not impossible. It was agreed that this time they would send 'the sacrificial bride' in with protection, all the others had never made it out again. But Yui was different. She was the daughter of the best vampire hunter they had, a priest and Akira's mentor. The man that had found her that day covered in her Mother's blood, weak from crying. Her and his adopted daughter had become best friends, although Yui never knew she was adopted. Akira had been asked to keep that secret and she did. Yui was a kind soul and despite being his daughter she never and would never become a vampire hunter, it would destroy her. Taking a life, even if that life deserved to be taken. But Yui knew nothing, she didn't know that she was entering the den of vampires. She didn't know that her heart wasn't her own, she didn't even know that Akira was a vampire hunter. The less she knew the better, so Akira's true relationship with Yui's Father had been kept secret. Yui simple thought she was a devoted Christian orphan.
Akira spent the morning packing her stuff, hiding 6 knives on herself. 6 knives for 6 vampires, it wouldn't be enough to kill them but it would catch them off guard at least. She couldn't tell them that she was a vampire hunter, but they would raise questions as to why she was there. Both she and Yui had been told by her Father to tell those that they would be staying with that they were sister. Yui naturally had questioned but asked nothing more when she was told that it was so that they would let Akira let there too. Of course Karl Heinz knew who she was, a deal had been stuck. Or something like that. Akira wasn't too sure about the details but either way the Church had struck up some kind of deal with him, if he wanted Yui then Akira went too to make sure his sons stayed in line. He hadn't been too happy about sending a vampire hunter into the home of his sons, hie heirs but he agreed nonetheless. Akira's phone buzzed just as she finished her closing her suitcase. She got up and checked it. It was Yui.
'We are outside x' It said. Akira looked out of the window and could see a black taxi parked outside the small orphanage that she stayed at.
'Coming.' She replied. She never returned the kiss that Yui sent, she never intended to. It was too affectionate and she like to keep her distance. She cared for Yui but she never showed it, she never showed any emotion. Vampires were manipulative creatures, emotions are something they could take advantage of and she would never give those bastards an advantage over her. Akira grabbed her stuff and ran out to the car. She threw her stuff in the boot and jumped into the car. Yui smiled instantly she she saw Akira.
"Good morning Akira." She said in her usual bright and happy tone. Akira felt guilty, she had no idea. It was like taking a lamb to the slaughter house.
"Morning." She replied bluntly with the same blank expression as always. She never really understood why Yui liked her so much, it's not like she was a particularly fun person to be around but she had always followed her around when they were kids. So interested in everything that Alira was doing, always asking her Father when she was next coming round to play. She was like a lost puppy that Akira couldn't shake but somewhere down the line Yui seemed to grow on her. The two sat in silence and looked out the window as they set off, both thinking completely different things as they headed to the Sakamaki mansion...
