Rydel's P.O.V.

Ellington and I were sitting in my room. He was going on a date with Kelly, his first girlfriend. "Rydel, I'm not really sure how relationships work. Do you have any advice?"

"Well, you need to give her a reason to love you. You need to make sure you tell her everything. Every. Little. Secret. The key to a healthy relationship is being truthful. And she might tell her about her dreams and stuff like that. Make sure she knows what you like, too. And most importantly, if she ever tells you she loves you, make sure you say the same. Us girls are very fragile," I told him everything I learned over the past few years. As much as I wanted to steer him away from Y/N, I wanted to be the best friend possible.

"Thanks, Delly. Your the best friend a guy could ever ask for," he hugged me. As much as I wanted to stay like this, he pulled away from me. "Do I look good?" he asked me.

"You look awesome. Go get her, tiger!" I cheered as we arrived the front door and he left to go pick Y/N up.

Watching him drive away, I could hear the little cracking noise come from my heart. Why couldn't life be like it is in the movies?
