I wasn't sure what to say. Ashley was my best friend and roommate. I hadn't even come out to her. And I like her. F*cking great. I knew she was bisexual, but she didn't know I wasn't straight. She was having a studio day so I wouldn't see her until the evening, or even later. That gave me some time to think of what to say to her.

"Y/N I'M HOME!" Ashley called up to my room.

'Sh*t! Ok. I can do this. Just breathe.' I walked into the living room and sat beside her on the couch. "Hey, Ashley! How was your day?"

"Pretty good. We're done recording my next single," she said.

"I better get a sneak peak at it when it's done," I joked.

"Maybe."

I sighed. I could do this, right? "So we're best friends, right?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"And we can tell each other anything?"

"Of course we can."

"Well, um. What would you say if I was only attracted to girls?"

"I mean, I wouldn't care. You'd still be my best friend. My feelings for you wouldn't change."

'Ok. Part one: complete. Now I just need to tell her I like her. I should just say it. It may be the riskiest, but it's the easiest.' "And what would you say if I said I liked you?"

"I'd say that I liked you, too. I'd also say 'shut up and kiss me.'"

A/N Halsey is my wife. I call dibs. It makes me so happy that fans, most of which are girls, have asked her to be their first kiss and she actually does it. It just makes me so f*cking happy.
