Here's the promised long chapter!!

The eleven were to reach the venue in 3 vehicles....

Madelyn, Myntra, Marna and Syndi reached first, and then Yana, Sharia, Melodie and Aimee...

(TIME LAPSE to 10 minutes before start of concert)

AIMEE'S POV:

I glared at my watch. It was nearly time to star the concert, but Cayanne, Sundae and Angela were nowhere to be seen...

They weren't even picking up their phones!!

Sure, we could manage without them, but we wouldn't be as good as we could be!!

Myntra kept yelling, "What the heck are we going to do??"

I'd had no idea what to do....

CAY'S POV:

We were driving to the venue, with Sundae and Angela in the front seats, Sundae driving, and I was sitting in the back seat.

I was just singing some songs when something happened....

We were just about 20 minutes away from the concert venue when a truck suddenly swerved to the side, in the process hitting (more like ramming) the door on my side....

The pain was excruciating, but I was determined to get Sundae, Angela and myself out of the car....

Sundae had fallen unconscious and Angela was stuck. I freed Angela and barely managed to drag Sundae out of the car before blacking out.

When I opened my eyes, all I saw were Angela's eyes filled with concern.

She informed me that I had a broken arm, several wounds on my leg and a wound in the side of my head, the later two already attended to and my broken arm was in a sling.

"The concert's about to start in 10 minutes." said Sundae, whom I was relieved to see was unscathed.

"Are both of you okay?" I asked, getting affirmative replies.

I was determined to not let the occurrence come in the way of our performance.

I got up and called Aimee...

AIMEE'S POV:

I was nearly in tears when my phone rang. It was Cay!!

Nearly giddy with relief, I answered my phone. I listened and she spoke. Said she would be there in 20 minutes and asked us to start off with some songs we knew, and that they would join us as soon as they arrived.

We were scheduled to perform for the first half- hour of the concert...

We half-heartedly began the concert. By the end of the third song, people were nearly bored, what with the half-dead way in which we were performing...

I cautiously glanced into the curtained side of the stage, where O'Hara stood with Demi Lovato, with a look of utter disbelief writ large over their faces, and Lassiter stood with his hand over his head.

We started the next song, 'Really don't Care', with me singing lead. The second verse was nearly over when I saw Cay and Angela scurrying in to the afore-mentioned side of the stage.

Perfect timing. The next part was best performed by Cay and she started it perfectly, entering the stage, following Angela. She tried her best to conceal her pain, but I could make it out.

I stood there with my mouth gaping open until Yana nudged me and I shut my mouth. I couldn't hold back the tears springing to my eyes and turned around. Cay noticed and took advantage of a part of the song where Angela was singing lead to whisper in Sharia's ears. Sharia then pulled Yana, who was also in tears, and me off the stage.

CAY'S POV:

I'd just finished Cher Lloyd's part of 'Really don't Care' when I saw Aimee and Yana in tears.

Sharia also looked a little shaken....

I asked Sharia to take Yana and Aimee off stage and stay with them. I remember thinking Angela and I could manage the vocal parts, as we started 'Neon Lights'...

(TIME LAPSE to end of MiOL's part in opening the concert)

MELODIE'S POV:

We finished our part and stepped off the stage to thunderous applause.

Cay, I could notice, was in pain. She'd however managed to overpower her pain and gave a stellar performance.

As Demi Lovato walked onto the stage, she gave her a high-five. The 'mouthful-of-sour-grapes' frown-like expression on her face I saw when Cay and Angela entered the stage was now completely inverted. She radiated joy....

(TIME LAPSE to immediately after concert)

YANA'S POV:

We'd performed for another hour in the middle of the concert and 15 minutes at the end with Demi Lovato.

She was extremely happy and thanked us for 'making the concert amazing' and we'd thanked her for the opportunity to not only meet her, but also perform with her...

Well, that's the experience of a lifetime!!

True, it was a rollercoaster ride of emotions, but it was amazing!!
