Y/N POV

Ran just asked me out on a date. Ran Mitake, the girl who wouldn't be interested in doing anything other than improving Afterglow asks to spend some time with me, mind blown.

"Sure I would love to go on a date with you" I said with Ran quickly looking back at me.

"Alright then this Saturday at 12:00, don't be late" Ran, said hugging me.

She entered her house, while I stood their still shocked about what transpired, I went home thinking about plan for tomorrow and how to make it memorable.

The Next Day

I arrived at Ran's house at 11:45 just in case she was waiting at the door, I don't know the first thing about going on a date but I do know that making a girl wait is bad impression, I knocked on the door and it was answered my Ran's father.

"Ah Y/N-san it's good to see again it's been some time" He said with his usual calm expression.

"Yes it's sure has been, is Ran ready? We're going on a date together" I said being honest.

"She should be ready soon, why don't you wait inside  for her" Her father said leading me inside.

"Would like some tea, or Mizu Yokan?" Ran's father offered to which I asked for the red bean jelly.

As I finished my dessert Ran come out of the hallway and saw me seating with her father.

"Father I'm going out now with Y/N, I'll be back by 7:00pm" Ran said to her father.

"Aright, Y/N-san take good care of her" Ran's father said in a serious tone.

"I will, she'll just fine with me" I said bowing my head, leaving with Ran.

Arriving at the downtown area, we didn't know the first thing about going on a date, so I suggested we should just walk around, if anything catches our interest we check it out. Ran seemed satisfied with that plan and went along holding my hand.

We went inside Hazawa Coffee for a quick cup of joe. Tsugumi took our order, and was surprised that Ran ask me out on a date, while eating out cakes and coffee we talk about our past.

Flashback 10 years ago

Me and Ran were always really close, my mother attended the Mitake School of Flower Arrangement, so naturally my Dad wasn't around to take care of me at home when I didn't have school, my mother would bring me with her and I would play with a Girl  named Ran Mitake who was the daughter of the Owner of the school. We spent all lot of time together ever since we met when we were 8 years old, until my mother graduated the school and it was probably the last time I would see Ran again, but before I left we promised that we will meet each other again, oh Fate is so kind we reunited and she was part of a band, and was a little different in terms of personality but he same girl I loved spending time with.

Present Day

After talking about our shared past we decided to take walk to a store that sold seasonal Cherry Blossoms items like candy and drinks, seeing as Japan loves their seasonal items I decided to try something new and maybe find something I like, seeing Ran browse the aisles with a brought smile on her face was really cute, Kokoro would proud.

After the Sakura store we decided to got to the mall because she wanted to see some costume inspiration for Afterglow's next performance. The costumes of Afterglow aren't organized in the beginning but I don't think looking the same was the look they were going for, later on their costume game underwent a massive improvement, as Ran explains it signifies growing as a band. Other than costume inspiration, I've bought some new clothes for spring, as well two pairs of shoes because why not. The whole time Ran holding my hand tightly while having a small smile, after some time at the mall we decided to head to a family restaurant that hold some sentimental value as it was the place where Tsugumi suggested the forming of their new rock band.

Upon entering it wasn't busy, despite being a Saturday evening you'd think it would be bustling with people. After placing our orders and grabbing our drinks from the drink bar we sat waiting for our food, after some small talk Ran brought up a topic I couldn't believe I heard.

"We found your old picture of you singing when you were 10" Ran said with her stoic look.

I gave her a serious expression and responded with "what?"

"Toyama-san found your old photo, and her reaction led to everyone seeing that photo" Ran said in a concerned voice.

"Well didn't that coming but I guess it's on me for being careless" I responded.

"Then may I ask you a something Y/N" Ran said looking deep into my eyes.

"Sure, if I can answer it" I said raising my eyes brow.

"I want you to join Afterglow as our secondary Vocalist" Ran said staring at me waiting for my answer.

After hearing those words come out of her mouth, I can't help but feel that sometime in the future the other leaders will ask the same of me, but I can't answer right now I fear it might ruin that friendship and a level camaraderie between each band.

"Ran I would love to but I can't answer right out the gate, I don't want to ruin Afterglow you guys are a band made of up childhood friends, I'm just a outsider looking in if I joined" I said genuinely.

"I understand your point but the rest of the band really like you, your not an outsider, I just want to be able to sing with you again" Ran said almost looking like she was about to cry.

"I know Ran but I can't make a big decision like that so suddenly but trust me I'll let you know if I came a to a decision. I said holding hand.

"Promise" she said looking up at my (E/C).

"I promise Ran I'm a man of my word" I said holding my hand up.

After our heartfelt conversation we finished our food my watch reads 6:00pm so decided I walked her home.

"Thank for spending time with me today it was fun" Ran said with a big smile of her face.

"Yeah I had a lot fun also, we should do it again  sometime" I said holding her hands, but suddenly I felt a rain drop on my hand, and suddenly it started raining hard and soon a downpour.

"Hmm how am I suppose to go home in that I don't have an umbrella" I said with concerns tone.

"Why not you stay for the night Y/N" as a voice belonging to Ran's father.

After accepting my circumstance, I went inside and had a guest room prepared for me to sleep in, after spending time by myself Ran's parents came inside and informed me that they will be leaving soon for a urgent business meeting. After they left I realized that Me and Ran were only people in house just then Ran entered my room and sat beside me on the bed.

"It's just like old days you sleeping over" Ran sat resting her head on my shoulder.

"Yeah everything is the Same as Always" I said putting my hand around her.

"I-I Love you Y/N every since you came back into my life" she said hugging me tightly.

"Ran I love you too" said giving her a kiss.

As I was kissing her she got into what I was doing the suddenly she pins onto the bed and said "then prove to me you love me" she said in seductive voice.

"Are you sure you want to" I asked her making sure Ran know what she's getting into.

She nodded as we started kissing again while I slowly undressed her, After Ran closed the lights we began doing something that two people should be doing behind locked doors. 

Reunited after so many years apart, I have a feeling that what I did to her won't be a secret for very long, I feel that some girls have taken a interest, and one with a obsession. I have to really think about my next moves, they all saw that photo people like Yukina and Chiyu will definitely get some ideas, but for now Me and Ran will enjoy a nice romantic evening together, spending time with just the two of us together.

Everything is the Same as Always that's all.

Ran's date resulted in Y/N getting a certain card swiped, I'm not sure I will do NSFW in some of the chapters as I don't know if you guys want me to, but if you do I don't mind doing it.
