Miku POV
The next day we say Mayu and Sora coming in holding their hands and I clapped. "Finally! I think we've all waited enough.", Natsuki said.

"Wait, you knew about it as well?", Sora asked shocked. "You would have to be blind to not notice how you look at each other.", Natsuki said blankly. "So we were that obvious?", Mayu asked.

"Kinda...", I nodded. "Wanna tell me how you confessed?", I asked her as we sat down. "Well, we were under the night sky and it was beautiful and wonderful.", she sighed as she told me her story. Sora and Riku were talking about it as well as Riku patted him on the back. We were all having our own conversation Riku talking to me.

"Anyway, wanna go finish that anime we started yesterday?", he asked me and I nodded.

"I want to see if Nagisa or Karma wins. I really want Karma to win but I have a feeling that Nagisa wins seeing him being the protagonist and all.", I told him. "I think Nagisa will win as well and then they will find a way to save Koro-sensei.", he told me and I nodded.

We stopped our conversation when we noticed that it was suddenly silent. I turned to see Mayu and Sora smirking at us. "So... now that we are together, did you finally realize your feelings for each other?", Sora asked. I had a feeling they both wanted to tease us as well.

I guess we didn't tell them we are in a relationship yet. "I forgot to tell you, Sora. We are going out.", Riku said casually as I sipped from my pack of milk. "Ehhh?", everyone looked at us in surprise. "When did that happen? Since when?", Mayu asked. "Since yesterday.", Riku answered curtly not wanting to say anything else.

"Who confessed and where?", Natsuki asked excited. "I did. In the infirmary.", Riku answered. "It wasn't anything special.", we both said at the same time not wanting to say anything further. "The next second we know Natsuki and Izumi are dating as well.", Mayu joked and we all laughed about it. Suddenly, the door to the music room opened and two police officers stepped in.

"Excuse me, do you need something from us?", Izumi asked them and they nodded. "Are Mayu and Miku in here?", we both looked at each other before reluctantly raised our hands.

"Do you need something from us?", Mayu asked. "We would like to ask you to follow us to the police station. We want to ask you some questions about what you did yesterday.", the woman said.

"But why?", Sora asked as he put an arm around Mayu. "I am sorry to say this but the two of you are suspects for murdering Aiko yesterday.", the man confessed and we all just stood there in silence before chaos broke.

"Excuse me, but I wasn't with her yesterday and I don't think Mayu was with Aiko as well.", I told them but they still shook their heads.

"We can talk about that in the interrogation room but for now we would like to ask you to follow us so we can look at your statements.", they said as they motioned us to follow them. I was the first one to let go of Riku who looked at me worriedly while Sora refused to let go of Mayu.

"There should be no problem with that... because I know I didn't kill her.", I said as I went up them and Mayu nodded. "I don't know why we are being accused but I know neither of us killed her!", she argued. "According to her friends, you two had some reasons why you might detest her.", they said as they motioned towards my hands.

"That's still not a good enough reason to accuse them.", Riku said. "We are just going to ask you some questions. If they all add up you are allowed to go.", they said and we followed them. "See you later. We are going to watch some movies later when you come back.", Riku said smiling.

I smiled back because I wanted to assure him it was going to be fine. "You are going to prove it to them! That you didn't kill her, right?", Sora asked her. "Of course! I wasn't the one who killed her after all!", she said and then they sent us away.

We were being separated in different rooms. The woman was talking to me now and I answered every of her questions honestly. "What did you do around 3 pm?", she asked me.

"I went to the infirmary with Riku and after that we watched some movies with him.", I answered her. "Could you clarify who Riku is?", she asked me. "He was the raven-haired boy standing next to me.", I said. "And do you maybe know what Mayu was doing at that time?", she asked.

"I don't know for exactly how long they were together but Mayu was with Sora, the blonde. She was back at around 11 pm. I know that because I was still awake at that point and saw her walking in. I didn't sleep yet because I just came back as well so that is why I noticed her coming back in our dorm at around that time. After a while when she came back I fell asleep.", I told her.

She nodded and wrote everything down. "Thank you. Now I would like to ask you to sit down for a while and wait. I will come back in a minute.", she said as she walked outside.

I waited patiently until she came back in with Riku, Natsuki and Sora. "I asked Riku the same question in a different room and your answers add up.

So we know for sure that you spent your time with him until 10:45 pm. We were pondering if you could have done the crime within those fifteen minutes but there were two things that helped us answer that question.

Miss Natsuki here stated that she saw you walking back to your dorm from the small bar in the school which has the outlook to the hall of the girls' dorm. She never saw you walking out again and stayed there until 11:30 pm.

Because Miss Natsuki was with her other friend who agreed with her we can believe her statement. Also the crime scene was too... "extravagant" to have committed it in 15 minutes so we can say for sure that you are innocent.", she explained.

"Is that so? That is good then.", I said that I stood up. "Thank you for giving us your time.", the woman bowed to us.

"Thank you for helping me prove myself innocent.", I thanked her and immediately walked up to Riku giving him a high-five. "Knew you could prove yourself innocent.", he said. "Thanks for believing in me. How did it go with Mayu?", I asked and he frowned slightly at that.

"...She's still being interrogated. We can't go in yet. We can just look from the outside and listen to her but she can't hear us.", he said as we walked up to her room. There we saw Mayu sitting across from the man from before looking at him in a sour mood. "I said I didn't kill her!", she said as if she repeated that sentence a million times already.

"Miss Aiko's friend told us that you held a grudge against Miss Aiko because she insulted and injured your friend.", he said.

"Of course I would get angry when someone tries to hurt my friends. But I didn't want to kill her because of that!", she defended herself.

"Then let's look through everything again. After the dispute you went with Mr. Sora to dinner and arrived back at around 11 pm. But can someone prove that?", he asked but Mayu couldn't answer. "...I don't think so.", she answered and that is when I noticed that Mayu didn't know I was awake and that man doesn't know either.

"Excuse me, but I don't think that man doesn't know some information yet and Mayu didn't know I was awake either so...", the woman looked at me understanding and opened the door walking in. She whispered something at him and he nodded taking the papers she gave him.

"It seems you are lucky, Miss Mayu. According to Miss Miku, she was awake at that time and witnessed you walking into your dorm.", she says. "So everything adds up, right?", Mayu asked in hope. But before the police officer could answer the door was opened and Aiko's friend was led inside. She looked pretty shaken up and was asked to take a seat which she did.

"The truth is... I think Mayu killed Aiko...", she said as she sobbed. "What?", Mayu asked in disbelief. "I was walking back into my dorm and that is when I saw Mayu walking out of her dorm.

She was wearing gloves and held a knife in her hands. I was scared so I hid somewhere and that is when I saw her knocking on Aiko's door and when she opened Mayu pushed her in and the door closed. I was too scared to see what happened but when the door opened I saw Mayu walking out with a clean knife but her clothes were covered in blood and that is when I knew that she killed Aiko...", Kohaku, her name, said.

"That is a lie! I never went outside of my room again!", Mayu said but the police officers didn't believe her immediately. We all knew that was wrong. "Why did she lie?!", Sora asked.

"There can be only one reason why someone is lying about this... she must be the one who killed Aiko.", I said crossing my arms.

"Then, we have to tell them!", Sora said. "That is not possible. They won't believe us.", Riku shook his head. "Why are you all so calm?! We have to do something or they'll wrongly accuse Mayu!", Sora shouted. "What do you think they'll think when we barge in there so aggressively?

It will be a disadvantage for Mayu!", Riku snapped at him and he fell silent. "You are right... I am sorry. It's just that I don't know what to do.", he said. "Don't you dare to think you are the only one worrying about her! I am too! She was nice to me and we became friends even though I never thought we would.", Natsuki said near to her tears.

We all stayed silent. Riku held my hand to help me. Just as we were about to lose hope we saw Izumi walking in with a police officer and the door was opened. "I am sorry to disturb you but could I have a word in this?", Izumi asked smiling calmly.

"Izumi? What are you doing here?", Mayu asked him and we could see that tears were streaming down her face. "If you would watch this for a while please.", he said as he put a laptop on the desk. We don't know what they watched but they widened their eyes. Izumi looked at Kohaku who flinched under his cold glare.

"Wh-What is it?", she asked. "You were the one who killed Aiko, didn't you?", Izumi asked. "Of course not. I was her best friend and I am feeling devastated at the fact that she's not with me right now!", Kohaku sobbed looking at him angrily. "But why didn't you do anything when you saw Mayu walking into Aiko's room with a knife?

Shouldn't you have been alarmed?", he asked. "I banged on the door but no one opened!", she said but I noticed it was a lie. It didn't make any sense. "That is the first time we've heard about that. Mind clearing this up?", the man asked.

"Even if this looks suspicious right now... you can't prove that I killed her. I didn't have the motive nor the chance!", she defended herself.

"You has plenty motive. She was pretty mean to you, wasn't she? Most people would feel pressured in a friendship about that.", Izumi argued calmly and we all looked at him in amazement as he went through everything.

"What about the video? The video clearly showed a person with a bag on the top! It didn't show any face at all! I wasn't the one who killed Aiko!", she shouted. "No, that's wrong!", Izumi shouted.

"Wh-why?", Kohaku asked as tears went into her eyes. "You made a fatal mistake, Kohaku.", Izumi said. "What do you mean?", she asked looking alarmed. "If you weren't the killer... then why did you know there was a person with a bag on their head in the video? I never told you anything about that.", he said and that is when she broke.

She started to giggle and then laughed wholeheartedly. "So that's it. You are insane.", Izumi stated as the police officers took her outside. "What is going to happen to her now?", Sora asked. "She is probably going to a mental hospital.", Riku said stating my thought.

"That's it. Thank you for giving us your time.", the man said. "And thank you for helping us solve this case. What is your name and what about your talent? Were you working in a detective agency before?", the man asked Izumi.

"My mother was working in the detective agency and my father was a police officer so I got to learn one or two things while I lived with them.", Izumi answered. "That is wonderful. Do you study criminalistics as well?", he asked.

"No. I want to become a producer and work with making films and movies.", he shook his head. "That is a shame. If you ever want to go another path then you can come to us anytime.", he offered. "Thank you for the offer but I will have to kindly decline it.", he said and they talked a bit more as Mayu walked up to us and the first thing she did was giving me a hug.

"I am so relieved.", she said and I could feel her trembling a bit. I hugged her back but Sora pouted slightly. "The first thing you do is hugging your friend? What about your boyfriend?", he asked as she laughed shakily.

"Sorry. Here.", she said as she threw herself on him giving him a hug. "Let's go back.", Riku said as we all went back and decided to split up to calm down and do what we all wanted to do. Riku and I wanted to watch movies in his dorm.

Sora and Mayu decided to go outside to their, What did they call it, secret place. And Natsuki and Izumi went to their dorms.

We were watching movies when I suddenly noticed something heavy on my shoulder. I looked aside to see it was Riku who fell asleep.

I smiled slightly when I remembered what Izumi told me earlier.

"You know, Riku and Sora were the ones who convinced them to give Riku access to all the cameras so he could get some evidence.

Without their help I wouldn't have gotten the evidence at all so they should get some credit as well. Sora had to be a bit forceful and Riku had to stay there a few hours.", Izumi told me.

"They looked so tired afterwards.", Izumi chuckled as he recalled that memory.

I smiled myself feeling my eyes getting heavy. Soon enough I also fell asleep soundly knowing that we were safe and at peace.
