Lucy's P.O.V

As the hours past, I found myself drifting in and out of reality. At one moment I had been thinking about class and then my keys, soon after the idea that I would be marrying Carla tomorrow and starting his idea of giving him a future heir. I felt my face heat up.

I had never done that with anyone and the first man who I would be doing that with was a man who I barely knew. I looked at the board and tuned back into class.

After School

As soon as school ended I had to meet Carla in the front. As I walked down the hall I had felt stares. I looked away from them and quickly walked down the hall only to run into Shin. "Shin-kun" He arched a brow.

"Nee-san is waiting outside for you, you know?" I nodded. "Come on" We walked outside and met Carla who seemed out of it. I looked in the direction of where he had been staring at to see a short, petite, woman with short wavy blonde hair and red eyes. If anything she matched Machi's description of Yui and she was right, she was beautiful.

She walked into the limousine with a tall pale man with red eyes, short black hair, and a sort of muscular build.

She moved on, so did Carla or so he thought. From what I see now, he couldn't get over her. His eyes had love in them and seeing her happy with someone else seemed to hurt him.

My job was to be his wife which meant that I had to help him feel better, even if it had been for a little bit, it had been better than not doing it at all. I walked up to him. "Carla-kun, are you okay?" He eyed me up and down and blushed before he looked away.

"Yeah" He walked past me.

At Home

As I had been fitted for my dress one final time I couldn't get the way that Carla stared at Yui out of my head. He seemed so discouraged and empty, no wonder why he had these rules. He didn't want to suffer the pain again. Little did he know that he was hurting me by doing it. "Machi?"

"Yes, Ms. Heartfilia?"

"About Yui-san, can you tell me more about her?" She looked at me with fear before she looked away.

"Ms. Heartfilia-"

"I promise to keep it a secret." She looked at me again and sighed.

"I am not going to get you to forget about her am I?" I shook my head.

"No"

"Fine, Yui is what we consider the woman who changed so much in an empty man. Carla and Shin had gone through a lot throughout there lives. So much pain and loss, after hearing about Yui and how she could help them they ended up bringing her here, and as time passed Carla fell for her. She had been so kind, happy, and caring, she found ways to make the saddest people happy, and even with his sickness-" My eyes widened.

"Sickness?" Her eyes widened. She put the needle down.

"I..I.I am so sorry b..but I have to go and check on Mr. Tsukinami." I grabbed her hand.

"Machi"

"I'm sorry" She quickly pulled my arm away from her and left.
