Narda didn't budge from her hiding place behind the computer monitor, as though thinking that if she continued to hide behind it, he would think she wasn't there and he would leave. Acacia turned around and practically had to jump to block his view, given the fact that he towered over the three girls in the room. She waved her hands in front of his face to get his attention. "Hey Chanyeol, do you want to see Wendolyne's first ultrasound? She looks like a tiny little bean." She asked in order to distract him, grabbing him by the arm and trying to drag him out of the room.

But like Narda, he wouldn't budge as well.

It had only been about a week since Acacia had found out about her pregnancy, and she had already named the baby. Wendolyne, a welsh name that was much too difficult for Jongin to pronounce. But she liked it because it was also the name of a song her mother used to play all the time when she was a child. Jongin had just stuck with calling the baby Wendy. They had chosen another name too, Jose, in case the baby turned out to be a boy. But Acacia was convinced that the baby would be a girl. She picked Jose because it was simple, and easy for Jongin to pronounce in Korean. Acacia had also gone to a real clinic with Jongin, to get an ultrasound picture done. It had been difficult to sneak to the clinic, but they managed to do it without getting caught.

Chanyeol replied with a shake of his head. "I'm here to see Guti, and Jongin already showed me the ultrasound. He showed it to everyone in the dorms. He keeps it in his wallet now."

Acacia scoffed nervously. "Guti's not even here."

He gestured over to the computer monitor on her desk, pointing at it with his index finger. "I can see her hiding over there."

Vivi, who had gotten tired of getting Chanyeol's attention, walked over to Florencia now. Since she would be offering her dance class later, she was dressed in work out clothes: leggings, a sweatshirt, and her dark hair was pulled back into a pony tail. Vivi tugged at the bottom of her pants and started whimpering as he tried to direct her somewhere.

"Vivi," She sighed, now knowing exactly what he wanted. Unlike Sehun who talked to Vivi like he was a person and seemed to know exactly what he wanted. "Don't bite mami's work out clothes, you're going to ruin them. Do that with papi's clothes; he loves coddling you whenever you do something you're not supposed to." She crouched down and swatted him away gently as she spoke with a sigh, trying to keep her patience. Florencia liked animals and was usually good with dogs, but Vivi refused to listen to her, which had made her frustrated with him. And then there was the fact that each time Florencia tried to scold him, Sehun would swoop in to his rescue, excusing everything he did by saying Vivi is just a baby, he doesn't know any better. In a way he was right, Vivi was only a few months old, but Florencia already wanted him to behave because he was destroying all her clothes and shoes on a daily basis.

She complained to her boyfriend that soon she would have to dress in potato sacks and plastic bags.

At the same time, Guti gave up on hiding from Chanyeol and straightened herself up in her chair. She quickly rose from her seat and grabbed some random documents off her desk. "Sorry Chan. I can't talk right now. I'm very busy, but maybe later."

He shook his head. "If I leave now, you'll just continue to ignore me."

Vivi continued tugging on the leg of Florencia's pants when she stood up straight and she looked to Acacia with a shrug of her shoulders, "I don't know what he wants." She picked Vivi up and looked him straight in the eyes. "Talk to me. What is it that you need? How can I assist you, Vivi?" Vivi only looked at her without making a sound.

"Maybe he has to go to the bathroom." Acacia suggested.

"You think so?" Florencia wondered.

She set him back down on the floor and she got her answer when Vivi marched over to her desk and lifted his hind leg. Florencia rushed over and stopped him before he could do anything more. "Oh my gosh! Vivi, no! That's mami's desk."

"Told you." Acacia said with a laugh.

"I took him to the dog park to do his business before we came here, and he didn't want to go. He's just doing this to mess with me." Florencia whined, picking the dog up to cradle him in her arms like a baby. She looked to the other three people in the room, gesturing to her desk. "But you all saw that. Vivi is out to get me."

With Vivi in her arms, Florencia excused herself to go find a nearby park where Vivi could do his business, muttering about how she would complain to Sehun about his dog's behavior later. Acacia followed behind her older sister, which left Narda alone with Chanyeol. She would have left the building too, but someone had to stay behind while the other two were gone.

Now there was a silence between the two people in the room. Narda knew there was no escape. The only way out of the building was either through the front, where Chanyeol was standing blocking the door, or the emergency exit. Her latter option would trigger an alarm that would notify the police, the paramedics, and the fire department. A part of her was urging her to take that risk. She didn't want to face Chanyeol and tell him that the only reason she couldn't talk to him anymore was because she wanted to hide from Baekhyun.

"Can we talk now?" Chanyeol asked her, his voice deep and demanding. Now that he had her cornered there, he wasn't going to let her out without an explanation.

Narda plopped down at her desk in defeat. "Okay."

She thought that if she could just get him to step away from the door way, she could make her exit and run back to the safety of her apartment. He was taller and had good condition, given that he danced a lot. But Narda had played football and could also run long distances before getting tired.

She contemplated her chances, watching him from her desk.

As though sensing her plan, he walked over to her. He grabbed the chair in front of Florencia's desk, which was covered with Vivi's hair and he pulled it towards Narda's desk. The exact position where he placed the chair, left her trapped between him and the desk. She would have to climb over him if she wanted to escape. Her eyes darted under the desk to find there was no space for her to crawl under it either.

Narda heaved a sigh of defeat. "You win, Chan. I have no way to escape. What did you want to talk about?"

"Why have you been avoiding all of us? Nari, the guys, and me. We're all worried about you." He asked her, trying to meet her gaze. But she wouldn't look him in the eyes. Instead, she started fidgeting with a stapler on the desk.

"You know why." She muttered bitterly, and he sensed the sad undertone to her words as she added. "Don't make me have to say it."

"That was Baek's fault." Chanyeol pointed out. Though he instantly regretting mentioning him because his heart dropped when the mention is his name made her flinch. It was disheartening, what that one name could do to her now. Before, the name made her smile from ear to ear. Now it just about brought her to tears. He quickly continued, a frown forming on his own lips. "I don't want to stop seeing you because of what happened, and the others feel the same."

She gave a shake of her head in response, reminding him, "I'm not allowed in the dorms anymore, and with that restraining order, I'm not even allowed near you boys. Honestly, the last thing I need right now is more trouble."

But Chanyeol pleaded, trying to find a way around her banning from the dorms and that restraining order that was put against her. "Next week we're starting to film for a webdrama we'll be starring in. Its called EXO Next Door. Its gonna be Kyungsoo, Sehun, Baekhyun, and me as the main characters." Again he looked up at her and caught the hurt in her eyes. "Since he's singing the OST for the drama, he's going to be busier than the rest of us with extra rehearsals and vocal recording. We can meet whenever he isn't around."

"Won't he feel bad if you leave him out?" Narda wondered, a small part of her worried that he might be lonely.

Chanyeol shook his head, waving away her worries. "He'll be too busy to notice with filming, practices, and other commitments. And if he does feel bad...then it serves him right after what he did to you."

She bit her lip as she thought about it. "I don't know, Chan."

"Come on." He practically begged, taking one of her hands in both of his.

To his surprise and happiness, it didn't take much more to convince her. She shot him a small smile as she agreed, putting as her only condition to keep Byun Baekhyun away from her. Chanyeol was happy to oblige.

Baekhyun spent days trying to figure out how to approach her and just what he would say to her. He knew she wouldn't want to talk to him, but he still had to make his attempt. He couldn't stand the thought of being away from her, and now it hurt him even more that there was a chance that her love for him had dissipated. He feared that she would hate him now.

Now he was the one watching her from his window--his room overlooked the front of the building and he could see across the street. Narda's bedroom in the apartment faced the SM dorms and with any luck, he could see her sometimes from across the street. Narda kept her curtains closed most of the times though, and when she'd catch him watching her, she'd look away, nose in the air with indifference. Baekhyun winced at the cold front she was putting up. Her eyes were so full of resentment towards him.

It took him almost a month before he was finally able to pluck up the courage to approach her. He did it subtly, to avoid getting her into any trouble because of the restraining order.

He crossed the street towards her apartment building with a stack of mail that he had stolen from her mailbox at the front of the building almost an hour earlier. Then he had sat in the lobby, overlooking the entrance of her apartment until he saw her through the window of the staircase in her building. She was making her way down to the ground floor when he raced across the street, nearly getting run over by a car.

"Guti," He called breathless, stopping just feet from her. Her eyes widened in something he recognized as surprise and fear when she saw him. "The mail carrier misplaced your mail and accidentally dropped it off in the dorms." He lied, waving the stack of mail in his hand as though to prove that he wasn't being dishonest. "But since I'm already here...do you have a minute so we can talk?"

He took a step towards her, and without saying anything, she took a few steps back until her back hit the door to the lobby. Given the incident at the SM dorms, the apartment building across the street had taken measures of their own to safeguard their tenants. Little did they know that it had been one of their tenants who had been arrested for the incident at the SM dorms. Now a key was needed to open the door at the lobby, to keep trespassers from entering the building. Nari had been given two keys for her apartment, and one of those keys was given to Narda, even though Narda insisted Kyungsoo should have that key.

There were tears in her eyes as she reached into her pocket and pulled her keys out. She turned away from him and opened the door, hurrying to the safety inside and standing in the lobby as she waited for them to leave.

Baekhyun knocked on the lobby doors, trying to get her to let him in.

But she wouldn't. She would rather first be late to work than to go back outside, where people might see them. Not only would that be a violation to her restraining order, but the hate from his fans would probably triple. She was getting words of hate, and even death threats from them.

All because of something she didn't do.
