In the next three days they were all on a flight to Mexico. EXO was travelling, Baby Lips was travelling, Nari, and Narda were going as well. Florencia and her sister Acacia were already in Mexico. Florencia was filming promo trailers for an upcoming drama that she had been casted for the starring role in--La Malquerida. Her sister Margarita had been casted for a role in the drama as well, as a girl who had been sold to a brothel when she was fourteen and ran away from there to search for a better life. Filming wouldn't start for another few weeks, but the entertainment company wanted some photos and teaser clips of the cast together, to make sure they looked good together, but also to make sure that they all looked good on camera.

Because of that, it was speculated that she wouldn't make it to the wedding, leaving her idol boyfriend dateless. Fans of the couple were rather disappointed that they weren't going to meet up even once while in their short stays in Mexico. But their schedules were too busy, even then, to coordinate a date between the two.

It was a twelve hour flight from South Korea to Los Angeles, after which they got off and changed flights to one that would get them to Mexico City. At first, the members of Baby Lips were surprised to see EXO getting off the same plane and boarding another smaller one with them. But Sarang seemed unsurprised as she skipped over to her boyfriend's side happily. Yixing and Mae also found each other with smiling faces. Only Narda tried to keep her head low, since she didn't want people to notice her and start any trouble.

As they boarded the second plane, they all got settled in their seats. It would be about another three hours of their flight to Mexico, and then finally a thirty minute flight to Guadalajara, which was where the wedding was taking place. Narda sat by Chanyeol, in the same row with Kyungsoo and Nari. When the manager was handing the boys tickets, Chanyeol had begged one of his hyungs to change seats with Narda. Then Nari had intimidated Baekhyun into switching seats with her, otherwise it'd have been Chanyeol, Narda, Baekhyun, and Kyungsoo in one row of seats.

About an hour into the flight, Narda excused herself to go to the toilet. Baekhyun, who was a few rows down, quickly jumped out of his seat and practically trampled over his other group members to follow her. He waited for her to get out of there and blocked the walkway back to her seat. 

She opened the door and then threw her head back in frustration, looking to the heavens.

"You, uh, dropped your..." He reached into his pocket and pulled out the first item he could find. It was a paper clip which he had used to break into Junmyeon's dorm before they left Korea. He needed the leader to give them a briefing of the things they might need in Mexico. "Paper clip." he finished awkwardly.

Narda raised an eyebrow at him. "My paper clip? Seriously, Byun? Is that really the best you can come up with?"

She tried to walk around him, but he stepped in her way. She tried stepping to the other side, but again, he blocked her path. They continued their little side to side dance, and he eventually started speaking. "I just wanted to say that I heard about you getting fired from your job and I think that was really unprofessional of them. I know you're an amazing teacher and you've always put your work first. So I wanted you to know that I'm gonna help you search for a new job."

There was a flash in Narda's eyes. She thought his words were sweet, but another part of her screamed at her not to believe in his words. Her brain told her that if she let him in again, he'd just end up hurting her more. So instead, she pushed those thoughts out of her mind and crossed her arms over her chest, quickly questioning him. "What makes you think I want your help? You've done enough to me already."

"Guti--" He tried again to talk to her.

But she cut him off immediately. "Please let me by. I need to get back to my seat."

"You heard her. Back off, she doesn't want to talk to you." Baekhyun heard the deep voice of Park Chanyeol standing behind him. For once, his deep voice helped make his words sound more menacing. 

Both turned to face him and Baekhyun said nothing, pushing past him with frustration etched across his face. The more that time passed, the more he felt he was losing Narda, and destiny was doing everything to keep them apart. Destiny, and Park Chanyeol. Each time Baekhyun wanted to talk to her or even looked at her, Chanyeol was there, preventing them from even glancing at each other.

Chanyeol and Narda returned to their seats together and didn't leave each other's side for the remainder of the flight. When they arrived in Guadalajara, Minnie and Isaac were there to pick them up. They arrived late at night and the former member of Baby Lips rented a mini bus to take them from the airport to her house.

Once they arrived there, they assigned rooms to each other and everyone went to sleep. Though Chanyeol really wanted to share the same room with Narda, Nari beat him to it and claimed her best friend for herself. Chanyeol didn't complain about it, only because he noticed the tense atmosphere between Kyungsoo and Nari. Maybe the two girls needed to talk things out and Nari just needed someone to listen to her.

They would only be there for the weekend. They arrived late at night on Friday, the wedding was on Saturday and on Sunday they had the day to themselves. Narda had called Oriana, wondering if they were going to meet up. Oriana informed her that they would see her there. Alda's game was on Friday night and they would be taking a plane to Guadalajara right after. Narda saw her brother and her best friend at the party, and Oriana got her boyfriend to behave, but he continuously shot glares at Park Chanyeol.

He was upset and in his mind thought that Chanyeol had convinced Narda to get married behind everyone's back, keeping it from her family and friends. 

On Sunday, when everyone had the day off, Narda got up bright and early to a text from her best friend.

oriana: guti, alda says if u guys can come over for breakfast?

guti: but its so early...

guti: chan barely gets any sleep when he's in korea. i want to let him rest a bit longer. 

oriana: how about we go see u instead??

guti: nope. sorry. we're not staying in a hotel. we're staying at MOTHERFUCKING CONEJITO BRIZUELA's house. be jealous bitch. <33

oriana: no way D:

oriana: lucky ass. 

oriana: he's my side boo, you know. ;D

oriana: lol jk.

guti: i thought ur side boo was miguel layun?? :p

oriana: him too haha

oriana: lol ur brother was reading over my shoulder and he complained so hard about me having side boos. but he knows he my main tbh.

oriana: okay but srsly, imma stop being a hoe in my imagination. i just started thinking that if he was talking to his friends about having side girls and i heard about it, he would catch these hands so fucking quick. haha.

guti: lol omg. & hi alda!!

oriana: he says hi. and can u just come by urself?? we miss you & we wanna see you bitch <3

Narda decided to let her boyfriend rest and climbed out of bed, pulling away from her boyfriend's arms gently. She took a quick shower and got ready. As she opened the door to leave, her boyfriend stirred awake in bed. His eyes were half open, and he looked tired. He was concealed under the covers and he called to her, "Morning baby. Where are you going looking so cute like that?"

She paused and smiled at him warmly. "I'm going to see my brother. You know its been already six months since I saw him."

"Why didn't you invite me?" He asked, jutting out his lower lip in a pout.

She returned to his side, cutting the distance between them and sat on the side of the bed, kissing him on the lips. "You don't get enough rest. So I wanted to let you sleep in for once."

But he would have none of that. "Wait for me a few minutes. I'll jump in the shower and we can go see your brother together."

They arrived at the hotel within forty five minutes and the young couple were already there waiting for Narda and Chanyeol. As soon as she was within reach, Alda pulled his sister in for a hug. "You've been away from home way too long, Nar." He said to her, holding her tight. Oriana stood by his side, internally fangirling at the fact that she had Park Chanyeol standing before her in person. Though she had been much more excited at the wedding, when she had Kim Junmyeon so close to her.

When they pulled away, Alda shot Chanyeol a look. But Narda grabbed her boyfriend's hand in hers and pulled him closer to them. "Alda, I want you to meet Chanyeol--"

"Her husband." Chanyeol cut in briefly, a big grin spreading across his lips. He held his hand out for her brother to take and Aldair only looked at his outstretched hand for a moment.

When he finally shook his hand, he replied with a mutter, "Pleasure."

They had breakfast at a traditional restaurant near the hotel where he was staying with Oriana, and though things had gotten off to a rocky start between her brother and Chanyeol--mostly because her brother was upset that he hadn't been invited to his sister's wedding--the two ended up clicking. They had nothing in common--Chanyeol was a musician, while Aldair was an athlete--but it was hard for Aldair to dislike him once he actually got to know him. 

Narda was initially worried, but she was surprised to find they later got on as though they were old friend. They got along so well that they had even exchanged numbers and social media information. Chanyeol had also promised to follow Oriana, and to get Junmyeon to follow her on Sarang's account, since he didn't have an instagram. 

After breakfast, they went to see the town and Narda got Chanyeol to buy loads of Mexican snacks. She wanted to have some to take back to Korea, and some to have Chanyeol taste test.

The couples spent the whole day together, until it was almost time for Narda and Chanyeol to return to Korea with the others. As she hugged her younger brother goodbye, he said to her a bit sadly, "Why don't you stay a little longer? Go visit mom and dad, and Bianey. They miss you a lot, and it doesn't help that I live in San Diego now. The only time I get to see them is when they got to my games."

Narda crinkled up her nose as she pulled away. Though she no longer had a job in Korea, she didn't want to leave that life behind. She also didn't want to return to her country in shame, having been fired from her job. She wanted to prove that she was innocent and she wanted an apology from all the people who did her wrong. The fight in her didn't want to leave things as they were. She also didn't want her parents to know that, and worry about her. Now with even more reason she couldn't leave Korea. She was married to Chanyeol and even though it was accidental, she wanted to be responsible and be a good wife to him.

"I really can't, Alda. I have to get back to Korea." She said, taking Chanyeol's hand in hers. "I need to be by my husband. Please don't tell mom and dad that I got married."

Though she didn't want to hurt Chanyeol's feelings, she wanted to tell her brother that she was going to try to fix that mistake. She was going to try to get a divorce from him. Not because she didn't love him, but because this wasn't the way she wanted to marry him. 

Narda said goodbye to her best friend and her brother, assuring them that she would see them again soon. But her brother wasn't so sure anymore. She now had too many things connecting her to the foreign country.

we are getting so close to the end of the story, and things are continuing to get dramatic for our characters. of course i wasn't going to make narda's brother hate chanyeol. who could hate chanyeol? he's flawless. maybe he could hate baek, because of what baek has done to narda in this story universe. 

but chanyeol has only been good to narda.
