The train ride to Busan was about two hours long. Chanyeol had initially gotten plane tickets to go there with Narda, but when he thought about it, a two hour train ride with her was something he would much rather do. The ride there felt like a short one, since the two of them spent if talking, and making jokes, and taking lots of pictures. Only a few of which would make it onto Narda's private instagram account. As much as Chanyeol wanted to post them on his page as well, showing her off to the world, he respected her wishes to keep their relationship private for the moment.
It was early afternoon when they arrived and the station was littered with people in festive attire and mariachi hats. Narda had opened up her luggage on the train, just before arriving and got her black mariachi hat with gold trim, wearing proudly on her head. She had also brought her big Mexican flag adorned with the signatures of some of her favorite footballers, which she wore around her shoulders and back like a cape.
Chanyeol walked by her side, dressed in black from head to two, his sun glasses and cap still attempting to conceal his identity. And for the moment, it was working.
His arm wrapped around her shoulders, holding her close to him out of fear that she would get lost in the small crowd of the station. She laughed and made a comment that he was much too tall to wrap his arm around her waist.
They hailed a cab from the station that would get them to their hotel, right on the strip where the festival would take place. They were dropped off in a back street and walked the distance of about a block until they reached their hotel. At the hotel there was the same atmosphere as in the station. People in colorful traditional outfits and big hats were everywhere. Chanyeol was just about the only one who seemed out of place. That is, until Narda unwrapped the flag from around herself and placed it around his shoulders. He wore it without protesting.
But then he showed her that he was wearing the jersey she had given him underneath. A green Mexican national team jersey with the number 61 and the name Chanyeol on the back. He told her that the only reason he hadn't taken his coat off yet was so that he wouldn't be spotted by the press.
After checking in, they went up to their room to get settled in and then they would go down to the festival. As they opened the door, they saw it was a one bedroom suite and Chanyeol groaned aloud. "I swear I had nothing to do with this, Guti. I asked for a two bed suite."
She walked into the room, giving a nonchalant shrug of her shoulders. "Don't worry, Chan. I don't mind sharing the bed with you. We've shared one before, and its just for one weekend."
Still, Chanyeol felt his cheeks tinting red.
He and Guti had only been together a couple of weeks and he didn't want her to think he was trying to take advantage of the situation. He knew well how she had been brought up, and he knew that she didn't want to sleep with anyone before getting married. He knew it and he respected it. But that still didn't mean he didn't sometimes think about--or fantasize about--being with Narda. He really liked her, and it was a normal thought to have.
Narda went to the far end of the room and left her luggage by a couch. Chanyeol did the same and then plopped himself down on the bed while she went to freshen up in the bathroom.
Within a few minutes, the two were ready and left their hotel room, ready to see the festival.
As soon as they entered, a young woman handed them a pamphlet with the information as to which bands would perform on certain days. Mariachi Vargas would be performing until Sunday afternoon, closing the festival. Narda wore her Mexican national team jersey underneath her jacket and had left her jacket in the hotel. Chanyeol had done the same, but wrapped the flag around himself to cover up the back of the jersey.
"Before we go any further, and before I forget..." Narda stopped in the middle of the street as people passed them. She reached into her purse and grabbed a bottle of sun screen lotion. She squeezed some into her hand and then gestured for Chanyeol to turn towards her. He immediately obligedand she got on her tip toes to rub some lotion on his face. "We have to protect ourselves from the sun. I wouldn't want you to get sunburned." She told him, not that he had been protesting. He was happy to have his girlfriend fussing over his well being. They were in a town by the beach and she knew sometimes the rays of sun felt stronger there.
While she rubbed lotion onto his face, he quickly leaned in and gave her a quick kiss on the lips, making her giggle. She then opened the bottle again and was going to squeeze some more onto her hands when he stopped her.
"I'll do it for you, jagi." He said, taking the bottle from her.
He poured some lotion onto his hands and massaged it onto her shoulders, and arms slowly, taking his time. When they finally finished, she dropped the lotion into her purse and grabbed him by the hand, dragging him to the first booth that caught her attention.
"Mexican street corn." She licked her lips hungrily, practically drooling, when they reached the end of the small like that was formed there.
"What is Mexican street corn?" Chanyeol wondered with curiosity. From where they stood, all he could see was a booth with a sign above, informing what they were selling there. But he had never heard about Mexican street corn before.
"One of the greatest things you will ever taste." She assured him with a grin.

Back in Seoul, EXO had just gotten done with their first concert of five. They were in the hotel, EXO was nine members at the moment. Yifan and Lu Han had long since left the group, and Chanyeol was back in the dorms, supposedly sick. Baekhyun was sharing a hotel room with Kyungsoo. As soon as they returned to the hotel to get some rest for the night, Baekhyun grabbed his phone off the night stand and was about ready to head out once again.
"Where are you going?" Kyungsoo wondered, stopping him as his friend reached the door.
Baekhyun replied without a problem. "I forgot my phone charger and my wallet back at the dorms. When we were packing I must have forgotten them."
Kyungsoo thought they were very valid excuses. He had to return to the dorms for his phone charger. Kyungsoo had an iphone, while Baekhyun had a galaxy, and he couldn't borrow a charger from him. He could have easily borrowed one from the other members. But it was just as easy to go to the dorms to get it, since they were performing in Seoul. His wallet was also something he needed. They hadn't gone out to eat that night, but most nights after their concerts, they would go out to dinner together. Kyungsoo didn't imagine that his friend had other ideas.
With Chanyeol alone in the dorms, he knew he would try to see Narda. But with Nari and the other boys at the hotel for the concerts, he saw it as his opportunity to make another attempt at talking to Narda.
"Well, at least change out of your stage costume." Kyungsoo pointed out.
Baekhyun looked down at himself and knew Kyungsoo was right. In his outfit for their song Playboy, he almost looked like a stripper in his white button up cut off shirt and black leather pants. He nodded and went to his luggage to grab the first clothing items he could find, a pair of jeans and a baggy sweatshirt.
He then hurried into the bathroom for a moment to get changed. That was when Kyungsoo got a video call from Nari on his cellphone.
"Hey jagi." He said into the phone, greeting her shyly.
"Hi Soo." She waved into her phone screen. "Wanna meet up for dinner or something?"
Kyungsoo didn't have to think too long about it. "Sure. Let me just wait until Baekhyun leaves. He's going to the dorms for his wallet and his phone charger."
Nari quickly spoke with panic in her voice. "Oh my God, Soo. Whatever you do, do not let him go back to the dorms. Bring him to dinner with us instead." She said. At the sound of her words, Baekhyun paused what he was doing and instead placed his ear to the door to hear what they were saying. He wanted to know why she didn't want him going to the dorms. But he guessed it had everything to do with Narda and Chanyeol.
Her boyfriend was also uninformed of what was happening, since he asked with curiosity. "Why do you want him to come with us?"
"Because..." She started, and her voice dropped down to a whisper. Baekhyun had to really pay attention to make out her words. "Chanyeol isn't in the dorms. He went to Busan with Guti for some Mariachi festival, and I know that if Baekhyun oppa finds out, he'll go berserk." At this, Baekhyunh hurriedly finished getting changed.
"Ah, jagi." Kyungsoo groaned, throwing his head back to look up to the heavens. "Why are you helping Chanyeol with Guti if you know Baekhyun likes her too. Its only gonna cause more problems between them."
"He had his chance with her--" She said, but stopped herself when she heard a door open.
Kyungsoo shot her a look that warned about Baekhyun being in the room. Nari was quick to recover and change the subject. "So do you want to get dinner together Soo? We can invite Baekhyun oppa and the other boys. It'll be fun, just like old times."
Baekhyun gave a shake of his head, pretending he hadn't heard a thing of what they were saying while he was in the bathroom. "I can't. I have to go pick up my phone charger and my wallet at the dorms."
Nari was very insistent, trying to convince him to go with them to dinner. "You can borrow my charger for as long as you want. And Soo can pay for your dinner. Right Soo?" She said from the cellphone video call. She had a Galaxy phone like him and she knew Kyungsoo would gladly pay for their dinner if she asked him to.
He forced a polite smile onto his face, refusing again. "I really can't, Nari-yah. I should get going before it gets more late." He said calmly, already plotting in his mind to get a ticket to Busan for the Mariachi festival. Though on the inside, he was a bit upset that even now, Nari was taking Chanyeol's side. She was even helping him win over Narda, while she knew that Baekhyun liked her too. At least he knew Kyungsoo was loyal enough to the two of them to stay out of it, or attempt to stay out of it.
Baekhyun was already on his way towards the door again when Nari lost her composure and shouted at Kyungsoo in a panic. The previous calm in her voice was dissipated. "Stop him, Soo!"
The EXO vocalist tossed his phone onto the bed and charged at his group mate. Baekhyun easily dodged him and took off in a dash down the hallway. As he reached the elevator and hit the button that went down to the lobby, he shouted at his friend. "Tell Nari I heard everything she said, and that she's a traitor for helping him and not me. I'm going to Busan to find them!"
Kyungsoo cursed under his breath and returned to the room. Nari was still on the phone, waiting to hear from him. When he lifted the phone, she asked him, "What happened? Where did he go?"
Her boyfriend heaved a sigh. "He said he heard everything, and that he's going to Busan to find them."
Nari facepalmed herself. "He's going to sabotage their date, Soo. I have to call Guti."
