The Choice...

Either run to the telephone to inform the police, or... run for his life. in the fraction of a second, the doctor jumped out from his window and landed on the ground with a deep, heavy thud. He smiled to himself; he knew the murderer would follow him out of the window. "Hmmm! And then i could possibly run around one block and guided by my lit window, i could climb back up, as it is the only one lit. Yes! That ought to trick the bag of bones." And as the doctor smiled, an unmanning evil smile could be seen spiting out of his seeming innocent face.

But as the doctor had this thought, the light within his room shut out, and the breaking of glass could be heard. It was as if the murderer heard his thoughts clear and loud. And no sooner did the weather side with the murderer, as the clouds were forced to bow down before the wicked moon and make way for its infinite beauty to reach earth and illuminate the city once more.

Doctor Felix seemed careless of the beauty of the moon as he ran straight into a forest nearby, holding on to dear life as he heard the murderer drop behind him with a light thud.

The doctor figured out another horrifying problem. he would not be able to run as much as the bag of bones; he needed a place to hide; he needed to outsmart him.

But it was in his fate to fail every time he was in a difficult situation. There was no one to help him, as this time even if he called out, no one would come. Because the doctor made the mistake of entering the very forest no man dared enter, as a creature lived within, far beyond human comprehension.

The murderer, seeing the weather work in his favour ran headlong into the forest after the very man for whom his heart boiled in rage and hatred

It was all so quick, the doctor looking back and snarling at the murderer, tripped over a root of a tree, a hissing slithering snake was making its way to the doctor's fallen body. The murderer stopped only inches away from the doctor's body, about to make a statement when a deep piece of steel buried in the his stomach, he fell to his knees as they wobbled in shock.

Just as the doctor wickedly smiled, an ear splitting scream emitted from his mouth as the snake dug his venom inside the doctor, and it pounded through his body with his blood gushing in his arteries and veins. The murderer took his chance to speak in a deep croaky voice:

"You dishonourable, disgraceful, inhumane animal. You deserve no more than humiliation beyond human comprehension. You experimented on my brother, took him apart organ by organ, gave him the wrong medicine, told him he had a disease beyond your healing, by purpose, when the actual disease was you. You killed him, he's dead, gone.... ripped from my life just for your greed of fame amd power and money. But don't you worry, I'll escort you to hell myself, even if it is the last thing I do! Charlie, for you....
