Sarada's POV

Deindre, she's nice and friendly. She seems different from how I know about his freaking dad Deidara.

How can I use her? She's obviously infatuated with Haruto. What can I get from befriending her? Damn she's taking too much of my mind with the things she talks about. But she's not staring at me straight in the eye when she talks. She would glimpse at Haruto most of the time like an obsessed fangirl.

I look at Haruto and wondered what he was thinking. He seemed like he is flooded with thoughts. Did I succeed with my jutsu earlier? I believe I did.. I have never failed in that persuasion jutsu. I can command them what I want.

But why am I nervous with his actions right now? Did he really forget that he saw my sharingan? I blew up my cover too soon. It's a mistake. It's a good thing dad's not here. He would have given me a beating.

I'm sorry dad. But I will make it up to you.. I will make sure there'd be no more mistakes from now on. I want to make this revenge as lean as possible.. Only Itachi should die here. But if worst comes to worst Haruto might really be a collateral damage to this.

I don't want it to happen. He seems like a nice person who's staring blankly at the river.

I saw Itachi coming with a man carrying big bags. Haruto ran towards them with excitement. Why am I nervous? I gotta make sure Haruto won't say anything. But as I was going to stand up, Deindre was no longer with me. She was also fast at meeting them. I have to go meet them too. But I have to prepare myself for the worst, in case Haruto would squeal my secret.

Haruto: Hi uncle Kakume.

Kakume: Hiya there Haruto.

Haruto: Dad, I have good news about Sarada for you.

Itachi: Oh really? What is that?

Deindre: She dodged all my bomb attacks. But duh, Haruto I didn't make the attack that difficult.

Itachi: Yeah, that's good news, I didn't know Sarada have a little knowledge about self defense.

Itachi poked her forehead and smiled. He felt proud of her like a real daughter. He thought, I have never been this proud of Haruto. But I don't know why, I feel so happy and proud of even with her little accomplishment.

Sarada was stunned for a moment. As she felt how similar he was with her dad Sasuke. She felt the same warmth and love as he poked her forehead. She thought, gather yourself up Sarada, she's not your dad. You can't fall for him.

Deindre giggled and shook Sarada.

Deindre: Hey Sara-nee are you ok? Awww... Haruto, look at them... So cute... acting like a real father and daughter.

Haruto felt a rush of jealousy from what he saw. Is she his real daughter? Or is she uncle Sasuke's child? What if I tell them she had the sharingan?

Haruto: I have another news about Sarada dad. She also has the---

Kakume: That's enough Haruto.. Whatever Sarada has, your dad and I will know and discover it today as we check on her level of fighting.

Itachi: That's true, Haruto. You don't have to tell us. Kakume is in-charged of the diagnostic test for her. I brought him today with me so he could assess her level. I am enrolling Sarada on the Akatsuki Academy tomorrow.

Haruto: Really?

Deindre: Oh that's cool. Let's be classmates then.

Sarada smiled as she thought, the Akatsuki Academy. Dad said, Itachi established that school and has gotten famous through time for the ninjas they produced. It has outshine even the academy from the Konoha and other countries. I am excited but nervous as well.

Sarada: Y-you were saying, I'm having a test today.?

Itachi: It's ok Sarada. Don't fear. Kakume, is my cousin.

Sarada thought Cousin? He is an Uchiha? I thought Itachi only spared dad and Izumi. Who is he? He looks similar to Itachi. They can be mistaken as twins.. Although Itachi, looked a bit more authoritative than him. We didn't know him. Kakume's another variable we aren't prepared of.

Kakume: Itachi told me about you earlier Sarada. While the three of them will go on with training. I will handle you today.

Haruto thought Sarada seemed very nervous. She is obviously trying to hide something. Interesting... I guess it's not time to tell dad about you Sarada. I will just observe you for now and see how you'll overcome this. No one is able to escape from uncle Kakume's jutsu. He would surely detect all of your secrets. That is why dad even brought him here.

Itachi: Go with him for now Sarada. Don't be afraid. Just be yourself. His assessment would determine which class you'll be admitted tomorrow.

Sarada: Class?

Itachi: Yes, Sarada. We have levels 1-5.

Sarada: Why not just let me in as level 1 since I am new?

Kakume: We do not rank our students chronologically but according to talent. There are some who had been many years in the academy but are still at level 1. While there are also those who are admitted starting at level 3 already.

Deindre: Good luck Sara-nee, I bet you can make it to level 3. That's where Haruto and I belong.

Haruto: Yeah sis, let's be classmates.

Sarada leave with Kakume not knowing where they're going. They were both silent for a while until Sarada broke the deafening silence between them.

Sarada: U-uhmm. K-Kaku..

Kakume: Call me uncle. Itachi adopted you. You're his daughter so that means you're my niece.

Sarada: Oh- ok uncle. Can I ask you something?

Kakume: Sure, what's that?

Sarada: Every level, have a teacher right? Which level is Itachi, handling? I mean dad..

Kakume: Hahahaha... Ain't you a daddy's girl. Wow, you've gotten too attached to Itachi already. You want to be with him right?

Sarada: It's just that I have never been to any school. I am a bit nervous. and I only trust him.

Kakume: You've never been to a school but you dodged Deindre's attack. Wow, who trained you?

Sarada: My parents were both in the police. They trained me a little. But they both died on a war against terrorists.

Kakume: Oh so at least you have an edge. You might be able to enter the academy at higher than level 1, but you can't go to Itachi's class. He is handling the level 5 students.

Sarada: The highest level?

Kakume: Yes. All of those in that level, have been trained for at least three years in the academy at lower levels before they climbed up to level 5. No one had jumpstarted to level 5.

Sarada: I see.

Kakume: Don't be sad. I am not judging you yet. But you can be the first and break the record.

She thought I have to be in that class without having to use my sharingan... Without disclosing I'm a real Uchiha. I have no time to play schooling at lower levels. If I am there, I can be closer to Itachi everyday. I can get to know and collude with the best students who I can use for my purpose. The thing is I don't know how Kakume will assess me. Can I just use my persuasion jutsu on him? Will he be an easy prey?

Kakume: I can hear your thoughts loud and clear... I am not the easy prey, but you Sarada... Or shall I call you Sarada Uchiha?
