Sarada stabbed Itachi's heart with a knife charged with chidori. His blood spilled through her face.

It's my bloody birthday. She smirked and her imagination was as vivid as reality.

Itachi: Sarada!

Itachi laughed as Haruto wiped cake icing on her face.

Sarada snapped out of her imagination. Huh, it wasn't feasible. I can't kill him with just a knife... Not now.

Izumi and Itachi did the same thing to her and she thought it's better to play as part of a happy family for once as they were all laughing and playing with the cake.

Sasuke slapped Karin and pulled her hair showing her the letter that Sarada sent through her messenger bird.

Sasuke: What is Sarada talking about in this letter Karin? How did Itachi have a son with the same birthday as Sarada? 

She shivered in terror. This is the first time Sasuke had been this angry on her. He might have been abusive in their relationship and even tried to kill her once when he fought with Danzo but this is the first time he laid a hand on her with this profound anger.

Karin: S-sasuke, I'm sorry... I know you only asked me to kidnap Sarada as soon as she was born while you were fighting with Itachi... b-but I decided to replace her with another baby... so.. so...

He pressed her chin hard almost crushing her jaw until her gums bled.

Sasuke: So what?! Why did you make your own decision?

Tears flowed from her eyes while blood gush out of her mouth making it difficult for her to talk.

Karin: S-so they wouldn't think they lost a child... b-because if they did, Itachi will surely hunt you down.  Y-you're his only suspect since you're there that day.

Sasuke: But I wished Itachi  had suffered the lost of his child. I thought he was in hell for thirteen years finding for his child... Instead he lived a happy family life. 

Sasuke shoved her face on the table, pressed it harder that her face bled and he pushed her down so she had knelt in front of him. Karin wrapped her arms around his legs while she begged for his pardon.

Karin: Please forgive me Sasuke. I won't disobey you again. 

Sasuke: What were you thinking you idiot?

He kicked her off his legs and pointed his katana on her.

Karin: Had I not replaced that child, Itachi would have caught on you a long time ago. 

She said crying, trying her best to convince him.

Karin: You were heavily injured then.. I thought it would be best for you to at least rest from fighting and recover.  I only thought of what is good for you Sasuke. I was right, until now you still suffer from the injury he gave you 13 years ago.

Sasuke sliced his katana on Karin's chest ripping off her clothes and pointed it on her heart.

Sasuke: There you decide again based on this heart, Karin.  

Karin: It's because I love you Sasuke. You know that. 

Somehow Karin's words soften Sasuke's heart. He had always been a sadist abusing both her and Sarada. But everytime he hears the word - "love" he'd slowly change his disposition. He covered her with his cloak and hugged her. She burst out crying hard on his chest reminiscing on the hell she went through just to love a twisted and broken avenger. 

Sasuke: Hush.. I am just worried, that boy is a variable we're not prepared for.  He could be a hindrance for Sarada. Itachi could have trained him well too. He'd be a threat to Sarada. We do not know anything about that boy.

He whispered to her softly. 

Karin: But he's just an ordinary boy. Jugo picked him from a random ordinary woman . That boy is a nobody.. He doesn't have any kekkei genkai. If that is you're worried about.

Sasuke: Jugo?! So he also knew... You both planned behind my back.

His wrath was rekindled again so he kicked her hard many times to satisfy his wrath. Then he sat on the couch and nagged on her while she's sat crunching in the corner.

Sasuke: You went with your plan... and there's another thing you're wrong about. You replaced a girl with a boy.

Karin: Since we didn't really know the gender of the baby that Izumi will give birth to, Jugo just picked the easiest baby to kidnap. But I made sure, Izumi didn't see the baby. I made her collapsed the moment she gave birth.

Sasuke: What about the doctor?

Karin: Jugo took care of the doctor. The doctor told Itachi, the baby was a boy.

Sasuke: I am worried for the plan to fail because of that boy. 

Karin:  Trust her Sasuke.. She'll find a way to get through it somehow. Sarada's intelligent.  

Sasuke: I'll go check on Sarada and make sure nothing bad will happen with our plans.

Sasuke calmed down and left the house.

Izumi:  Good morning Sarada, how's your sleep?

Sarada: Uhm.. It's fine.

Izumi: Come here. I'd like to show you pictures of our family.

Sarada dragged her feet. She doesn't want to bond with Izumi. She just wanted to check everything that Itachi would be doing. Her mind was floating barely listening to what Izumi was telling her.  

Itachi: Hon, I am going out with Haruto now for training.

Haruto went out of his room hurrying up.

Haruto: Sarada, why don't you come with us? Dad isn't it better for her to learn self defense?

Itachi: Yeah, come with us Sarada.

Sarada immediately stood up to follow them.

Itachi: You guys go ahead of me. Haruto bring Sarada to the river. I have something to do here first.

Haruto: Ok dad. I hope it's not making another baby. I already have a sister remember.

Izumi: Haruto, you baka! You're just 13!

He pulled Sarada and ran away laughing before Izumi could catch up on them.

Sarada: Wait Haruto.. (catching her breathe) you ran too fast.

Haruto: Hahaha... We can't risk being caught by mom.. She's more dangerous than dad, you know.

He was laughing all the time while they were running. Sarada found him strange and stupid but his laughter was contagious. She never thought she could also laugh this much. Laughter is not something she could afford. But today , it's the first time she ever laughed heartily as if there was nothing to worry about.. as if there's no vengeance to make.. as if there's no one to kill.

Sarada: If you were afraid of her, why did you even brought out that idea?

Haruto: Nah, I just love to tease her. Everyone in the family are so serious with life. It's like they've went through very tough life in the past. But they just kept a secret from me.

Sarada thought, yes, they have a secret. Itachi killed our whole clan. If you only knew how evil he was.

Haruto: I'm the only one who is playful in the family. 

He smiled cutely at her and turned his back on her looking at the river.

Haruto: Sometimes I think I am not their child.

He blew out a big sigh and started to get serious. Sarada strangely felt pity towards him. She looked at his back and attempted to tap it to give him comfort. 

But before she could touch him, Sasuke knocked him out.

Sarada: Dad! What did you do?

Sasuke: Remember Sarada what you are here for! That boy is just a collateral damage.
