While I was walking to my house from school I took a different road because that is the way to a shop that I like to go to and I also have exciting news for my twin brother Jacob. I call him Jack though. That was when I saw a light in an alleyway. I was wondering what that came from so I took a look. That's when my life was turned upside down. I saw Jack. I have been standing there frozen to see Jack standing in front of a woman who was glowing and I had heard enough to understand what was happening. When I got enough courage to speak I said

"Jack, what is this?"

" Juli... I can explain." Jack said.

"I thought you loved me! How could you betray me?" I shrieked. I was so mad that the only friend I have my school is going to leave me.

"Juli. I'm sorry but I have to go"

"You don't even know this woman!" I exclaimed with anger in my voice.

"I'm sorry Juli but this is humanity's hope you want a better life don't you?" I can't believe that he doesn't understand what I'm feeling right now. "how can I have a better life without you?!"

"Juli... you are the second smartest in the school so take my place. Live on without me and tell the other students that I'm transferring. Tell our parents that too."

"how can our parents ever believe that?" Our parents are never going to believe that Jack is transferring because he always tells them about everything.

"Juli... please make them believe it please Juli. Let me go." After that he took the woman's hand and then there was a bright burst of light.

"NO!" Is the last word I could say to him before he was gone. All I could now do is cry. My only sibling and friend I had left me alone. How could this happen to me out of all the people in the world?!
