I run back from school, I have a lot of homework to do, like always. I take a shortcut through an alleyway, and not paying attention to my surroundings, I bump into a trash can and call on my butt. I get up and dust the dust off my shorts, and began walking again.

I have so much homework, I guess that's what you get for being the smartest boy in the whole school, and most popular, but it'll get me to a good life.

I start walking, but not even a step further, I stop. In front of me is this yellow light, and then out of nowhere a woman appears.

"Hello Jacob." The glowing woman says.

"Wh..Who are you?" I ask almost in a whisper.

"I have come to tell you important news."

"Ok." I say standing up straight.

"We need your help, for this world is becoming unbalanced. You will have to come with us and train. We will train you until the time comes for you to succeed the master."

"What do you mean? Unbalanced? Master?"

"Jacob, this world is becoming unbalanced. Usually good and even balance out each other, but now evil is starting to conquer. Once you succeed your role of becoming master, then you will be able to come down to earth, and punish the most evil ones."

"Why me?"

"Jacob, you are the chosen one." She then puts her hand in front of her, ready for me to take it. I slowly reach out my hand, until I hear a voice behind me.

"J-Jack?" A girl's voice says from behind me. I turn around, and I'm shocked to see my twin sister standing behind me. How could I forget about her? What would happen to her if I left? How long has she been standing there for?

"Jack? What is this?"

"Juli.. I can explain..."

"Jack, I thought you loved me! How could you betray me?!" She shrieks, anger heavy in her voice.

"Juli, I'm sorry but I have to go."

"You don't even know this woman!"

"I'm sorry Juli, but this is humanity's hope, you want a better life don't you?"

"How can I have a better life without you?!"

"Juli, you are the second smartest in the school, so take my place. Live on without me, and tell the other students in transferring. Tell our parents that too."

"How can our parents ever believe that?"

"Juli... make them believe it, please Juli, let me go." I turn around and put my hand in the woman's. Then there's a sudden burst of light, and the last thing I hear is Juliet saying a long "nooo".
