Laser Eyed Wish

~Chapter Three~

The bell rung as my last class ended. It turns out having a ghost brother has it's perks, especially when the teacher leaves out the answer sheet on her desk for the final exam.

With a new burst of confidence, I walked out my Algebra Two class and headed for the front of the school. Bandon phased through objects, snooping in lockers and classrooms.

Without warning, I felt the air leave my lungs as I collided with the locker.

"What the fuck!" I exclaimed as I looked at my attacker, it was Dan.

"Sorry! Didn't mean to hit you so hard! Just wanted to surprise ya." Dan looked terrified of how angry I was but I let his mistake slide.

"It's fine," I mumbled as he leads me out of the school, there was a smile on his face.

"Where we headed?" I questioned as he opened the door for me. I was admittedly excited to hang out with him, he was the stereotypical motorcycle cool guy.

"I know a great bar at the edge of town. Cheap drinks and fantastic quality, don't worry about ID, as long as you're with me you don't need one," I froze for a moment before continuing my walk.

"A bar?" I whispered to my brother who was following close behind me.

"I forgot to mention that Danny is a big drinker," Bandon chuckled and continued to try to phase through a fire hydrant.

"Sounds great! I have 20 bucks to spare," I told him as he took out his helmet from his backpack.

Sounds great? Sounds great?! I've never drank before! I'm underage! I'm going to embarrass myself.

We finally reached his motorcycle and dread filled my stomach, I've never been on a motorcycle either.

"Here, you can wear my helmet, I didn't bring a spare." Dan tossed me the helmet as he unchained his bike.

"How are you going to follow us?" I questioned my brother who couldn't move with moving objects.

"I'll walk, you'll just be alone with him for a while." Bandon told me, trying to possess Dan who was hoping on his bike.

"Just put my helmet on and wrap your hands around my waist. Don't let go unless you want to scrape your face off." Dan told me and I did as he said. As my arms held him I couldn't help but blush. This was embarrassing and my brother's suggestive gestures didn't help.

"Hold on tight," Dan smiled as he stepped on the gas and rode us to the edge of town. I looked back at my brother who started his long journey to the bar.

During our short ride, I tried my best to enjoy myself. This was my first time on a motorcycle and it was admittedly great. The wind going against me felt nice and fresh on a hot day.

"Here we are!" Dan yelled as he slowed to a stop in front of Tay's Bar, it had blue, purple, and pink LEDs on the windows.

After a couple of minutes of small talk as Dan chained his motorcycle and put away his helmet, we entered the bar.

"You have two essays due tomorrow? Jesus." I scoffed, there was no way he'll get it done in time.

"Yeah, I really need to do them both. I'm failing both those classes. These essays could really bump my scores higher and save me my credit." Dan sighed as he sat in the dead center of the bar.

I looked around and found that older men were staring at us curiously. Or rather at me.

"Hey there Daniel! Who's your new friend?" The bartender asked, he was a middle-aged man who was quite buff.

Dan seems to freeze for a moment before staring at me with frantic panic and embarrassment.

"Wait what the fuck is your name?" Dan asked and I realized I knew his name but he didn't know mine.

"It's John, my last name ain't important," I told him if he knew my last name he would correlate it with my brothers.

"Man you invite him on a date but you don't even know his name?" The bartender questioned and I couldn't help but blush. This wasn't a date.

"Mind your business Ron, I'll have a bottle of Long Island Iced Tea, and apple juice." Before Dan even finished his sentence Ron pulled up a full bottle of the drink, a gallon of apple juice, and a cup.

"I'll have... a shot of tequila please," I told the bartender, I had no idea what I just ordered, it was the only alcoholic drink I knew by name.

"Interesting choice," Dan commented as the drink was set in front of me, he was busy making his own cup of half LIIT and half apple juice.

I grabbed the shot and looked at the yellow liquid, I gave it a sniff and it burned my nose. If I didn't drink it Dan will notice and I'll be caught in my lies. I quickly threw my head back and drank it quickly, the burning making my eyes water a bit.

"It's been a while," I told Dan as he looked at me oddly and he believed me. There was a smile on his face as he drank his own drink. I watched as he shivered harshly and closed his eyes in pure bliss, it was quite hot.

"Want to try?" The cup was put into my hands and despite it being a ways away from my nose, I could smell the alcohol from where it was. This was a strong drink, I don't know if I would be able to stomach this.

"Just try to gulp a couple of mouth fulls, it's normal if you gag a bit, it's not exactly mixed how it's supposed to be," Dan warned me as I put the cup up to my lips. With the face of bravery, I let the drink invade my mouth, immediately I gagged but as Dan suggested I ignored it drank a couple of gulps, before finching away. In that same second I felt a wave of shivers run down my spine, that felt so good, I was honestly turned on from the pleasure, a rare occurrence for me.

"Jesus Dude," Dan looked at me impressed on how I managed to drink a few gulps without throwing up. By the way my eyes watered, I could tell my eyes were noticeably red, all for my brother's murder right?

"I'll stick to this," I told him as Ron poured me another shot, I took it immediately, it seemed way easier now compared to the LIIT he made.

I need to get Dan to like me, how can I do that? He does have that paper due tomorrow, I'm pretty good in English, I could easily get him an A.

"Hey Dan, do you want me to write your English paper?" I asked him randomly and his eyes lit up.

"Really! You would be a lifesaver! Are you sure or is the alcohol talking?" Dan mumbled through his words, not because he was drunk, it was too early for that, but rather he was just excited.

"Yeah sure, just have me home by sundown," I jokingly winked and he chuckled at my terrible joke.

"You'll be lucky if you make it home by midnight, Johnny boy," Dan returned my wink and I could feel the atmosphere turn in a romantic as fuck mood, and if I was honest, I didn't mind.

That was all I remembered.
