      IT WASN'T JUST BY CHANCE that the moment Raven Morales stepped on her ten o' clock one-way train to Paris that a mystery would be close by. She had been known for carrying that factor on her. You see, being known as one of England's greatest detectives, she was used to the fact that there was always a good mystery around the corner.

  She was used to being able to find the clues, picking up on different ways to find them. She was used to being able to find good reasoning, evaluating the cause of everything that took place. She was used to being able to track down the offender, that was honestly the fun part of the job.

   But what she wasn't prepared for the moment she rushed out the door that morning to catch her train was to come face to face with Cedric Diggory, her childhood best friend slash crush (even though she wouldn't admit it) knocking at her compartment door with blood specks covering his crisp white buttoned shirt. And, with the words spilling out of his mouth — "You still in the mood for a good mystery?"

     Let's solve a fucking mystery.

So, I am not going to lie, the only reason why I wrote this was because I am super stressed about finals this year and I needed to do something to get my mind of it, so as of a result: Raven Morales is back??

But in all seriousness, I have been thinking of a creative way to write a mystery fic for like forever and the only way I could possibly think of doing it is through an HP fic (since all of my other HP plots all went to shit tbh, but anyway) and since That's So Raven has been sitting in my drafts since last summer I decided to revive it.

If you haven't really guessed it, this is solely based off the novel Murder on Orient Express (great read btw). I absolutely adore that novel with all my heart and I thought it would be cool to use a character of mine and write a fic based off of my favorite book.

If this honestly goes well, then I actually might make this into like a series (so like basically every act will be a new mystery and new characters) like Raven could be a super badass wizard detective so like yes? I'm definitely not sure so don't hold me accountable for this.

So with all that being said, I hope you all enjoy this and put your thinking hats on for this one because EVERYONE is a suspect. Also, let's just pretend that Cedric Diggory didn't die and he actually lived to fight the war and all that jazz. Because this takes place after the whole war at Hogwarts....okay cool!
