Minato went through the next thirty minutes of mostly walking around with Vortex, being Verosika's 'bodyguard'. He did get enjoy the food there, but for the most part, he kept silent and stuck by her side. He needed to silence his phone to not throw off the image, though, he had caught glimpse of his target, but he kept his act up.

After another hour and a half, Minato stood in front of the stage. He looked annoyed, getting impatient while waiting for his chance. Verosika was supposed to do her performance in a little bit and he didn't know how much longer he could wait.

"Hey, you doing alright?" Vortex asked.

"Well, not stressed. Just trying not to lose my mind." Minato tells him.

"I know it may seem like a boring job, but it's the best I got."

"Not much other jobs out there for ya?"

"Eh, it might not pay well, but it's better than nothing."

"Damn, that's deep man."

"While we're here, is it alright if I ask how you ended up down in Hell?"

Minato looked at him, then looked away for a second then looked back, about to speak. "Alright ladies and gentlemen!" He was interrupted as he turned and saw the captain take the mic. "Thank you all for joining us during the adults only hour. Tonight, we have a very special performance from a very special guest tonight. Give it up for the one and only, Verosika Mayday!" He says before handing the mic off to the succubus on stage.

The crowd then went crazy, screaming so loud that the boy had to cover his ears. "VEROSIKA!" Some weirdo ripped his shirt, revealing a tattoo of her name which the boy cringed at.

"Yes, yes, thank you everyone. It is so nice to be here tonight." Verosika begins saying as the music came on. "And I hope you'll enjoy the show."

Already a fan was about to run up and do something, but Votrex stopped him by shoving him away. Verosika then begins her song as she roamed about the stage. And eventually people in the crowd began to feel the music... to the point of where some were starting to get down and dirty.

Safe to say, Minato looked less annoyed and more bored than anything. Vortex had to punch another fan away, while the boy just aimlessly kicked another fan, sending her away. He then looked out and saw his target began to leave. Seeing his chance, after punching another fan away, he went to Vortex who had thrown another away.

"Hey, this is my chance. Think you can handle this without me?" He asked.

"I've done this myself before." Vortex says before they both punched another fan.

"Alright." And the boy jogged off.

As the man was going downstairs, adjusting his suit and making sure his hair is still slicked back. He was humming to himself, not having a care in the world before reaching the cargo bay. Then he heard some muffled banging, before looking up. He shrugged it off before he continued... then heard banging again and looked up again.

This time, he looked nervous and reached into his jacket before hearing a loud bang and spun, aiming a glock right at the now open vent and hanging vent cover. The squeaking of the hinges put him further on edge and he was starting to shake in fear. Then he heard a click, which made him flinch and freeze.

"Sorry pal." He heard before slowly turned around, then put his hands up when he saw Minato pointing his pistol at him. "End of the line."

He started sweating even more. "P-P-P-Please don't kill me! I'll give you anything, I swear! What is it you want? Money? Women? I can get you those." He says as the boy's eyebrows furrowed harder. "L-Look, I-I have a daughter, her name is Reina-"

"Oh, fuck you!" Minato shot him before he could finish and watched as his body crashed on the floor, immediately dying. "Like I haven't killed people with kids before. What an idiot." He says before attaching it to his hip. "Alright, now... how am I gonna get this body outta here?" He says to himself before he felt something press against the back of his head.

"Gotcha bitch." He heard from behind.

He sighed and slowly put his hands up and turned to see a middle-aged guy, holding a pistol to his head. He had brunette hair and a goatee, blue eyes, was wearing a suit, and looked furious.

"Fuck of course." Minato mutters under her breath. "Hey, nice to meet ya. Guessing you're related to this guy... somehow?" He asked.

"I'm not, but he was my boss. He actually paid me pretty well." The man says.

"Lucky. You wouldn't be hiring by any chance, would you?"

"Well, a spot opened up for someone to be the boss, but you sure as hell ain't getting it."

"Got it, got it." The boy says softly... before spinning and smacking the gun away as soon as he pulled the trigger.

Then he spun again and kicked the guy so hard that he crashed against the wall, cracking his head open, killing him instantly. As the boy landed in a Spiderman pose, before he could get up, he started hearing clicking as men in suits all came out from hiding, aiming guns at them. His eyes widened in shock as his eyes looked left and right.

"... Huh... you'd think with all this security you would've stopped me from killing your 'boss'." He says in a nervous tone before his hand slowly ignited with green flames.

Then quickly slammed his fist onto the ground, causing a blast that filled the room with smoke. Everyone started firing away at the smoke without aim. One of them saw the guy next to him get his throat slit and he fired in that direction before a blur went by, slitting his and they both fell to the ground.

One got a sickle lodged into his chest before he was ripped out, three guys got headshot, and two got their necks snapped. Some were even getting picked up and thrown against the ceiling, dying on impact. That last part seemed to grab Vortex's attention.

Said hellhound was in the middle of holding off a fan from interrupting Verosika's performance before hearing thumps, making him look down before hearing another thump on the ground. It wasn't coming from the people in the crowd. He could only assume that the only human he got to have an actual conversation with.

The song that his boss was singing was done now, and she was giving her announcement that she was done. He threw the obsessive fan away, and went on to the backstage, meeting up with her.

"I have to thank you boys for helping out. And..." Verosika was saying before looking around, puzzled. "Where's Minato?"

"Uh... I think we should go see what he's doing." He tells her, which left her even more puzzled.

Meanwhile, the boy was still busy being trigger happy, slaughtering every man in sight. He whipped out his chain sickle and started swinging it around at blinding speeds and every man who fell victim ended up getting mowed down and reduced to dismembered parts in puddles on the ground.

He stopped and stood up. A man got behind him, but before he could aim his gun, the boy spun around, impaling him on his sickle, listening to his cry of pain before taking the chain and swinging him at the wall at the entrance, causing him to splatter.

"WOAH! WOAH! CHILL!" Vortex yelled as he and Verosika just narrowly avoided getting hit.

"My bad." Minato says while putting his hands up.

"Holy shit..." Verosika says as she saw the carnage.

"Uh... y-yeah, I might've gotten a little carried away." He says, sheepishly.

"A little?" She says with a deadpan look.

"Yeesh, first time aiding in a murder and... just wow."

"Yeah... I might need some help cleaning this up." Minato says while rubbing the back of his head.

"We have less than an hour before we arrive back at the docks. How do you plan on us getting all these corpses out of here?" Verosika says.

"I don't know? Maybe, throw them overboard or something? I think we'd have an easy time doing-" He was saying before his eyes widened as he saw a red laser going right at the succubus' head. "Get down!"

He shouted as he ran, tackling her out of the way before she got shot as Vortex jumped out of the way himself. Minato quickly duck and rolled, landing in a crouching position while holding the succubus in a bridal position.

"You okay?" He asked while looking at her as she looked at him with a tint of red on her face.

"Uh... y-yes..." She stuttered.

He sighed in a bit of relief before hearing clicking again, then reacting as fast as he could, he jumped out of the way of a smg fire, slamming his feet on the wall before jumping again, and spinning in the air to avoid more blasts as Verosika held tightly onto him.

As he was about to land, he did another spin before delivering an axe kick straight to the shooter's head, causing a bit of a boom as dust flew up around them, covering the room. As the dust settled, Minato was seen standing up straight with the succubus still in his arms, looking down with his alt eyes, staring at the man who now had the boy's foot caving in the top of his skull.

"Yeah, guess I forgot one." He says while his eyes turned back to normal. "Sorry about that." He looked at the lady in his arms.

Verosika didn't say anything, just stared at him, still red in the face. All the carnage in the room, corpses, blood and all, it all faded out in her mind in that moment. All her focus on this boy. She heard some echoing, but it wasn't important-

"Verosika!" She shook her head before looking up at Minato. "You okay?"

She stared for another second before looking away. "Yes, I'm fine. Thank you."

Before anyone else could get a word out, the boy quickly ducked and rolled behind a crate as bullets came flying in his direction. The guy stopped and was about to approach before Vortex appeared in his demon form behind him and chomped his head, tearing it off with ease.

Minato looked out before sighing. "Man, again, how does this guy have this much security, yet they conveniently decide not to try and stop me from killing him?" He says as the hellhound just shrugged. "Hey, sorry again." He says while turning to Verosika who sat up.

"It's really fine, sweetie." She then brushed a bit of her hair back and gave him a smile. "Gotta say, nice reflexes."

"Thanks." He says while giving her his own smile which made her blush and giggle. He then looked back at the carnage. "We should probably take care of this before we reach land."

Vortex looked around and says. "Eh, good point."

(Some time later)

"Ew, ew, ew-" Verosika was saying over and over again as she finished tossing the second to last body out the window into the ocean.

"Alright." Minato says while tossing the one he had out the window then brushes his hands. "That should be the last of them."

"Nope!" Vortex says while tossing another body. "'That' was the last of them."

"Goddammit. I can't believe I touched one of those." Verosika complained.

"Forget it. We should get going. I think we're reaching the dock." Minato says before gesturing them to follow. "Let's go!"

And so, things went just about normal. The ship reaches the dock and the three get off, quickly getting out of sight. The assassin checked around the corner of the alley they were in to make sure, then stepped away.

"Alright, I think we're good." He says before taking his phone out. "Thank you for helping out. Sorry to get you involved."

"Hey man, no trouble at all." Vortex replied.

"Right. I should get going." Minato says while taking his phone out, before Verosika snatched it away and started messing with it to his knowledge. "Hey!" She then hands it back to her.

"Just making sure we keep in contact."

The boy looked puzzled before checking and finding her number in his phone. "Oh."

"Anywho, allow me to do the honors." She then says while pulling out the crystal.

Minato looked puzzled again before Verosika uses it to open a portal which shocked him. Then she made her way through along with Vortex and the boy decided to ask questions later as he jumped through, ending up in her office. He managed to get a view of the equipment for their music while the other two demons changed back to their normal forms.

"Well, guess this is where we part ways." The boy says as he was about to head for the door.

"Hold on." The succubus says while stopping him. "I'm sorry if it seems like I'm bothering you, but I'd really like an answer to the question I asked you yesterday." She then asked.

At first Minato didn't understand what she meant, but then it hit him. His face turned a bit red as he looked away.

"Um, well..." He says before looking back at her. "Fine, you got me. I did have sex with Loona. I don't have any excuse for it." He says, knowing he can't hide it.

"None?"

"Well, she was kinda going through a bit of a..." He trailed off, trying to figure out how to say what he needed to say.

"Let me guess, heat session?" Vortex spoke up as the two looked at him. "Hey, happens to me too. Sometimes my girlfriend comes to help me."

"Got it. So she came onto you first and took your virginity. Right?" Verosika says.

"Yeah, pretty much." Minato tells her.

"So, you two are together then."

"Uh... it's kinda complicated."

"Well, I have another question. Did she also manage to kiss you as well?"

"What?" He says while looking back at her. "I mean uh... actually no, now that I think about it, I really haven't."

"Hmm, I see." She says as she took a step closer to him before cupping his cheeks. "Then I can at least get this."

Then without another word, she mashed her lips against his. Minato was immediately shocked, but unable to break away. He didn't know how to react but was starting to melt into the kiss before he started returning it, putting his hands on her hips.

"Woah." Vortex says as his eyes were also wide.

The two remained kissing for a little bit, Verosika leaning against Minato, causing him to shift one foot back to keep balance. After a few seconds, they broke the kiss in order to breathe.

"How did that feel?" She asked while staring into his eyes.

"Umm..." He says while looking back. "Well, that did feel pretty good." He said which made her smile.

"I'm glad." She then gave him another kiss on the cheek before stepping back. "If you need any more assistance, or if you just wanna visit, my doors are always open for you. ~" She then says while in a flirty tone.

He blushed a bit. "Uh, no problem." He says as he went for the door. "See you around, Veri." He says while leaving, catching her blowing him a kiss as he closed the door.

He stood in front of the door thinking about what just happened. Well, she changed from seductive to passionate quickly. More or less, her lips had a sort of cherry flavor that wasn't leaving his mouth anytime soon. He did check to make sure his lips weren't stained and thankfully they weren't.

Then he thought back to the kiss. He expected it to be full of lust, but it had actually felt more passionate. He was starting to wonder if she was really attracted to him rather than just wanting something out of him. Then he thought back to Loona.

He completely forgotten about her since he was so caught up in both his mission and playing bodyguard. He didn't think that Loona would give any shit about him trying get it on with Verosika, but he wasn't exactly worried. Though he did want to get close to her after the night they had.

Then he thought back to Blitzo. He knew that he could only keep this secret for so long before anyone else would find out, especially since if he 'his boss' had found out that he had slept with his daughter and made out with his ex... well, the boy knew he wouldn't lose in a fight, but he was still his boss.

Then his phone rang and he checked it, seeing it was the aforementioned hellhound. He sighed before answering.

"Hel-"

"WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!!!" He held his phone back, almost throwing it when she screamed through the phone.

"Uh, good to see you too." Minato says as he entered through the front door.

"MITO!" He heard his boss also scream through the phone. "It's been fucking hours! You better have killed that fucking bastard!"

Minato looked through the window to the meeting room and saw both Blitzo and Loona looking furious while Moxxie and Millie looked very worried. The sight of the couple made him feel a little bad.

"Yeah, I did." he says while opening the door.

"Then you better have your ass outta wherever the fuck you are, cause if you take any longer than-!" Blitzo stops as he turned as saw the boy enter the room.

"Hey." Minato says while holding a hand up.

"You're back!" Millie says happily.

"We were so worried about you." Moxxie says as well.

"Alright, Mito. You got some explaining to-" Blitzo began to say before Loona shoved him outta the way and jumped at the boy.

Not hugging him, no, feet planted on his chest with his back arched and his collar being yanked on by her. "What was taking you so long!?" She pretty much screamed at him in anger.

"Sorry, I just got a little caught up in something." Minato says while holding his hands up defensively. "Look, I underestimated the kind of mission it was, that's all."

"Oh, you couldn't call back!?"

"Hey, if I didn't silence my phone it'd compromise my position." The boy says as the hellhound gotten off, allowing him to stand straight. "If you want more context, I haven't done a mission that involved having to sneak on a boat."

"A boat?"

"Yeah, the target was boarding one."

"I knew we should've come with you. We probably could've ended things sooner without trouble." Moxxie says.

"Hey, I got it done didn't I." Minato says while giving them a confidant smirk before seeing her concerned expression again. "Alright I'm sorry, I probably should've called back or something."

"Hang on, one minute!" Blitzo says with a hand up. "How did you get back here without us summoning you here?" He asked as the rest finally realized before looking at the boy.

'Oh crap.' Minato realized he hadn't thought of what to say if they questioned him.

He just stared at them while sweating bullets, trying to think of a lie on the spot... and he had nothing to work with.

"Well, uh..."

"Well, what?" Blitzo asked, getting impatient.

"Alright uh..." Minato sighed. "Look, I didn't go alone. I... might've gotten some help, sneaking on." He says nervously.

"From who?"

"From..." He then covered his mouth. "Verosika."

"What?"

He cleared his throat but talked in a low voice. "Verosika."

"Speak up!" Loona says, agitated.

"Verosika."

"LOUDER!"

"Damn! Verosika. Verosika helped me on my mission." He says, before staring at them.

"... WHAT!?" Blitzo and Loona both yelled at the same time.

"Are you serious!?" The taller imp pulled the boy down to his face. "You let that bitch get near you!?"

"Would you relax? I know you two are not on good terms with each other, but I needed a way to sneak onto the boat." The boy says, starting to look annoyed himself.

"Uh-huh. What did you let her do to get her to help you?" Blitzo then started sniffing around his body, almost reaching his crotch before getting shoved off. "Hmm, no smell of fish anywhere."

"Again, I needed a way to sneak in without getting caught. She didn't offer me anything and I didn't do anything to have her help me." Minato says while straightening his outfit out.

"Yeah, well, I have advice that you need to take." The taller imp started as the boy rolled his eyes. "Do not let her get in your head, okay!? She is not to be trusted." The boy then started to mock him with his hand. "If she manages to get you to have sex with her, I guarantee you that you will 100% get an STD. There's is no way around it, you fuck her, and your sex life if fucked!"

"Yeah, yeah, I get it."

"Look, forget it. Just try to keep in touch with us more next time you wanna do a solo mission." He sighed and walked back to the whiteboard, taking his phone out and making a call.

Minato looked at Loona who just glared him before scoffing and walking away. Moxxie and Millie just shrugged at him. He sighed, not having anything left to say and just wanted to end the day without anything else happening.
