Ryeblaze

Ryeblaze is very quiet and solemn, but a great warrior. He follows orders extremely well, and never leaves a task undone. None of the cats are really close to him, except for his sister, Oatstrike. He has grown distant from his mother, Honeyshine, and his grandmother, Peartail.

Horsefrost

Horsefrost isn't much of a talker, but his ferocity led the clan in the uprising against the kittypets. He is the most admired cat in the clan, and the hero of the uprising. He disdains his brother, Almondfall, as a coward who didn't fight in the uprising. Horsefrost is the mate of Wheatflower, Sheepwatcher's daughter, and the father of Seedpaw, Curlypaw, and Mousepaw. He is also the mentor of Curlypaw.

Boarstorm

Boarstorm is Horsefrost's best friend, and although he fought in the uprising, was not as much of a hero as Horsefrost. He is a great speaker, who is very charismatic. He tries to get people to ignore Almondfall's ideas, because Almondfall just wants to disrupt the clan. He is succeeding. However, he has trouble convincing his brother, Bullheart, that Almondfall is a bad influence. His parents are Goatleap and Barleythorn.

Honeyshine

Honeyshine is a permanent queen of the clan. Despite some cats believing she is lazy, she usually has a good reason for not doing things that are unreasonably expected of her. She is the mother of Ryeblaze and Oatstrike, although her mate, and their father, is gone. She leans on her brother Hayshade for support after the loss of her mate.

Goatleap

Goatleap is rather old, and is in constant pain a lot of the time. She is a strong supporter of Horsefrost, and is especially proud of her son, Boarstorm. However, due to her mate Barleythorn's cynicism, as well as her pain and the ignorance of her son, Bullheart, she is often in a bad mood. Her sister, Woollytuft, is one of the few cats who can break her out of it.

Rabbitflight

Rabbitflight is a physically weak cat. However, he has the ability to inspire the rest of the clan, and is a great source of encouragement for many cats. He is a close ally of Horsefrost and Boarstorm, despite not having fought in the uprising against the kittypets. He is the brother of Horsefrost's mate, Wheatflower, and the son of Woollytuft and Sheepwatcher.

Barleythorn

Barleythorn is cynical, and possibly one of the only cats besides Almondfall to not be inspired by the uprising against the kittypets. He is grumpy, and believes that life will be miserable with or without the kittypets. Despite this outlook, he has a mate, Goatleap, and two kits, Boarstorm and Bullheart. He also has a sister named Peartail.

Woollytuft

Woollytuft is quite content with her life. With the kittypets banished during the uprising started by her mate, Sheepwatcher, she is now able to relax as an elder. She is proud of her kits, Wheatflower and Rabbitflight, and likes her daughter's mate, Horsefrost. She is close with her sister, Goatleap.

Peartail

Peartail is an old, wise cat, who has outlived most of her family. The only family she has left are her grandkits, Ryeblaze and Oatstrike. Her son, Honeyshine's former mate, is dead. She remains close to Cherrypool, her former apprentice, and Bullheart. She is one of the few cats who can tolerate Barleythorn's cynicism.

Seedpaw

Seedpaw is very hyper and energetic, and wants to be just like his father when he becomes a warrior. He often squeaks his approval of Horsefrost, and his mentor, Boarstorm. Everyone finds him endearing. Like his siblings, he enjoys Hayshade's poetry, although not to the extent of Curlypaw or Mousepaw. His parents are Horsefrost and Wheatflower.

Curlypaw

Curlypaw is blindingly loyal to the clan, especially to his father, Horsefrost, who is also his mentor. Like his brother, Seedpaw, and his sister, Mousepaw, he idolizes Horsefrost, Boarstorm, and the other cats who fought in the uprising. He enjoys the poetry of Hayshade, but not as much as his sister, Mousepaw. His mother, Wheatflower, taught him how to befriend the sheep.

Plumsong

Plumsong is a very cheerful and spirited cat. Although he didn't fight in the uprising against the kittypets, as he was an apprentice at the time, he heavily supported it and the heroes of the uprising. He often helps Horsefrost out, such as by bringing the tom prey after a long day. He is close with his sister, Cherrypool.

Bullheart

Bullheart is a great warrior, and faught well in the uprising, but he isn't a very intelligent cat. This makes him susceptible to the manipulations of Almondfall, who makes Bullheart blind to his flaws. His brother, Boarstorm, tries his best to make him see Almondfall as what he really is, but fails. His mate, Cherrypool, is also manipulated by Almondfall, so it doesn't seem like he will be breaking free of the tom's influence anytime soon. His parents are Goatleap and Barleythorn.

Almondfall

Almondfall is a terrible coward who didn't participate in the uprising. All of the cats hate him for it. He has no leadership qualities whatsoever, and pales beneath the comparison of his brother, Horsefrost. He makes many suggestions that would spoil the purity of the lives of the clan cats.

Hayshade

Hayshade is a very poetic cat, who will often take time to create poems or music. He is a true artist, and all of the cats enjoy his poetry. This is especially true for the young cats, who idolize him, as his poems often tell the tale of the uprising against the kittypets. Horsefrost is one of his biggest supporters. He has a sister, Honeyshine, and an apprentice, Mousepaw.

Mousepaw

Mousepaw idolizes Hayshade, her mentor, almost as much as she idolizes her father, Horsefrost. Like her brothers Seedpaw and Curlypaw, she enjoys Hayshade's poetry. Out of her siblings, she is the closest to their mother, Wheatflower. Her father, Horsefrost, would do anything for her. The entire clan finds her sweet and innocent.

Oatstrike

Oatstrike is a fierce, easy-to-anger cat. Like her brother, Ryeblaze, she is an excellent fighter. She isn't close with many cats, except for Ryeblaze. Despite the wishes of her mother, Honeyshine, and her grandmother, Peartail, she doesn't want to know anything about her father.

Sheepwatcher

The tom who suggested the uprising against the kittypets during the revolution. Sheepwatcher is regarded as a hero, and revered by the entire clan. However, as an elder, he didn't actually fight in the revolution. Neither did his mate, Woollytuft. He has two kits with Woollytuft, Wheatflower and Rabbitflight.

Wheatflower

Wheatflower is devoted to her mate, Horsefrost, and her kits, Seedpaw, Curlypaw, and Mousepaw. She is a great mother, and is well-respected in the clan. She's become a tad distant from her brother, Rabbitflight, but remains close to her parents, Sheepwatcher and Woollytuft.

Cherrypool

If there is one cat more susceptible to Almondfall's manipulation than Bullheart, it's Cherrypool, his mate. She is rather intelligent, but believes that everyone is inherently good, and is therefore unable to see that Almondfall is a bad influence on her and her mate. Her brother, Plumsong, is her close confidant.
