Stride is a cheery, friendly young cheetah who enjoys races with his best friend. Determined to be an amazing teacher for Prance despite his young age for a teacher, and brings a lot of energy to their training sessions. Tries to outshine the other teachers with his teaching skills, but often makes a fool of himself instead with his new "techniques". Son of Thunder. Younger brother of Gust. Best friend of Streak. Climb of Scurrying Termite (Climb)

Climb is a reserved, observant young cheetah who looks up to his mom and wants to be just like her. Takes his training very seriously and can be found practicing his endurance or fighting moves even after Rumble has stopped training him for the day. Constantly ropes the other to-bes into mock battles or extra training sessions. Son of Rustle and Lunge. Brother of Fall and Prance. To-be of Rumble.

Flight of Soaring Vulture (Flight)

Flight is a loyal, sweet cheetah. Physical activities come to her easily, the female moving with a sort of fluid grace that the others admire, much like her sister. Encourages Stride in his efforts to be a better teacher then her, even when he ends up looking like an idiot. Very kind to Fall and tells the young to-be to just be herself, sees the young cat as a younger sister and is always up to giving her advice. Sister of Float. Teacher of Fall.

Horizon of Setting Sun (Horizon)

Horizon is a very serious young cheetah who puts her Tribe before everything else, ready to prove to everyone else that despite her useless brother she's just as strong as the other cats her age. Takes her new duty of teaching Roll as a big responsibility, and will not tolerate anything that disrupts his training- like Stride's "new" and "amazing" training ideas. Dislikes her brother, and wishes that he would just be normal for once. Daughter of Chase and Gust. Sister of Ripple. Teacher of Roll.

Gaze of Concentrating Elephant (Gaze)

Gaze is a down-to-earth, humble cheetah who is disappointed in his brother's constant boasting, though he normally brushes it off with a sigh and an eye-roll. He's known for being the peacemaker in the Clan, a wonderful voice of reason. Doesn't care that his coat is different than his mom's and brother's. Became close to Leap when she returned, taking the cheetah under his paw and becoming a father figure towards her. Son of Path. Brother of Streak.

Rustle of Baobab Leaves (Rustle)

Rustle is the largest cheetah in the tribe, and one of the strongest. The male has an air of kindness and calm around him, and often helps his mate calm down when she's freaking out. He prides himself on being a good dad and mate, and believes his family can come to him with anything. The one who normally talks out of most potentially violent situations with the neighboring tribes. Mate of Lunge. Father of Climb, Fall, and Prance.

Ripple Across Watering Hole (Ripple)

Ripple is a nervous, cowardly young cheetah. Wants to be friends with Streak and Stride but too anxious to try and chat with them. Hates the sight of flesh so only eats marrow from the bones of prey, which Gust normally cleans for him. Knows that Horizon doesn't like him that much, he's trying to change so she can be proud to call him her brother. Very skinny and small due to not getting enough nutrition. Son of Chase and Gust. Brother of Horizon.

Lunge of Hunting Crocodile (Lunge)

Lunge is a tense, uptight cheetah who takes her responsibility as a mother and a member of the Tribe very seriously. Hard on herself and demands perfection from the others. Due to her high standards of herself, the cheetah has trained to be one of the most skilled cats in the Tribe. Doesn't let anyone know about her worries other than Rustle. Mate of Rustle. Mother of Climb, Fall, and Prance.

Fall is a large young cheetah, bigger than both of her brothers and almost the size of an adult. She's very self-conscious about this, despite her father's assurances that this is okay and she'll probably be his size one day. Whenever her brothers bring it up they instantly get cuffed over the ears. She's a lot like her mother. Sees her teacher as a big sister, and will often confide in her about stuff she's too afraid to talk to her parents about. Daughter of Rustle and Lunge. Sister of Climb and Prance. To-be of Flight.

Gust is a calm, tranquil cheetah who has established herself as the mother of the Clan. Dotes on her two adopted kits and loves them with all her heart despite them not being of her blood. Proud of Horizon's accomplishments, and trying to help Ripple get out of his shell. Loves going on romantic walks at sunset with her mate. Daughter of Thunder. Older sister of Stride. Mate of Chase. Adopted mother of Horizon and Ripple.

Bellow is a grumpy, tactiturn old elder. She enjoys napping in the shade, but woe to the unfortunate to-be that wakes her up- she'll chew them out faster then they can say 'termite'. Very grudgingly proud of her her family, though is harsh towards Ripple because of how he's an utter disgrace to her legacy. Mother of Chase and Rumble. Grandmother of Horizon and Ripple. Best friend of Thunder.

Streak is an arrogant, confident cheetah who flaunts his special coat with the air of a king. He's talkative, boastful, and overall the main impetus for petty drama in the Clan, which he thrives on. Enjoys gossiping and is the known rumor-monger. Chased after Float for her beauty and is very possessive of her, though is not very active in his son's life, leaving most of the cub-raising to his mate. Is unnerved by Ripple. Son of Path. Floating Feather on the Wind (Float)

Float is widely celebrated as the most beautiful cheetah in the tribe. She's very sweet and kind, genuinely loving her mate. Believes she can get him to change from his rather dramatic ways and settle down to be a loving father for their son, whom she dotes on. Similar to her sister, she holds an innate grace about her- like her name, the cheetah moves like a feather in the wind. One of the most stealthy cats. Sister of Flight. Mate of Streak. Mother of Roll.

Prance is the most chill and laid-back to-be. He's very easy-going, preferring the slow way of life in contrast to the determination that fuels his siblings. Prance is always up for whatever crazy new training method his teacher is promoting, and is not suffering ability-wise for it. Not very close to his family, he prefers to do his own thing rather then talk to them. Son of Rustle and Lunge. Brother of Climb and Fall. To-be of Stride.

Path of Fleeing Antelope (Path)

Path is a down-to-earth, peaceful cheetah. Her strange pelt is seen as the pinnacle of beauty, undiminished despite her age. Not an elder yet, the old cat refuses to retire and wishes to be an active member of the Tribe for as long as physically possible. She contributes heavily to the group, and is seen as the benevolent grandma of all the cats. Very proud of both of her sons, and loves hanging out with Roll. Mother of Streak and Gaze. Grandmother of Roll.

Rumble is very much like his mother with his taciturn nature. The male is what's known as the 'silent but strong' type. He's one of the most skilled cats in the Tribe, and doggedly focuses on whatever task is currently at paw- which right now, is training Climb to the best of his ability to help Climb achieve his dream. Hasn't pursued a mate yet, though he does have a crush on Flight. Son of Bellow. Brother of Chase. Mentor of Climb.

Chase of Hungry Jackal (Chase)

Chase is a passionate, engaging cheetah who always seems raring to go. She keeps tabs on the herds for the Tribe, noting their movements and behaviors. Her original mate was a loner, but he abandoned her when he found out she was pregnant. In the moons after her kits were born, she and Gust got together and the pair of she-cats have been mates ever since. Very proud of Horizon, but wishes that Ripple would be more like his sister. Daughter of Bellow. Sister of Rumble. Mate of Gust. Mother of Ripple and Horizon.

Leap of Bounding Impala (Leap)

Leap was captured as a young to-be and held in a strange cave before waking up back in the territory with her collar around her neck. The others can't get enough of hearing her tales about that time. She hates her collar and constantly tries to get rid of it. Her family did not return with her, and Leap believes they are still in that strange cave, though has since given up trying to find it. She's neutral overall, not really passionate about anything other then trying to get her collar off. Gaze has become her father figure, and she's very close to him.

Thunder is an old, bumbling male who's enjoying a well-deserved retirement after his successful career as the Tribe's best prey-hunter. Lost one of his ears in an hunting accident when a wildebeest bit it off. He loves to tell stories to everyone about the history of the Tribe, fancies himself as a sort of lore-keeper. Father of Gust and Stride. Best friend of Bellow.

Roll of Wild Melon (Roll)

Roll is a sweet, silly, and still immature young to-be. He is the newest to-be, having given his rank only a few sunrises ago. Views his father as an idol, and is a little scared to talk to him because of how removed Streak is from his life, much closer to Float. Wants to be really close to his dad. Loves Thunder's stories and will try to ditch training to listen to them, much to the chagrin of his teacher. Son of Streak and Float. To-be of Horizon.
