Nico moved towards the door that held his friend captive. His steps quickened until a security guard held him back. Nico looked up at him with cold eyes. The security guard took a step back, surprised.

"You have to go back to your room.." The guard said. Nico glared at the him but did as told.

He walked back to his room, his hands in fists. He slammed the door shut and sat down on his bed. He was angry but he didn't know why.

Okay he did know why but he didn't exactly know the reason. He knew he was angry for then shoving Sammy into the quiet room but he didn't know why they did that.

Nico sighed and tried to think. He saw a man with a gash. That could've been his father who had visited him today, angered Sammy which made him hurt his dad. But a gash like that couldn't have of been made with fists alone. He need a blunt object, like a cup or something. And if he did have an object the other nurses would come looking in his room for more.

'Tedious work so tedious.' Nico thought to himself as he gathered his hidden objects and looked for a new location to hide them. After a couple minutes of looking he finally decided on above one of the ceiling tiles.

Three hours later, Nico was lying on Samuel's bed. The door opened and in came his roommate. Nico looked over and practically soared out of the bed. Samuel walked over to Nico and grinned.

"I'm gone for a few hours and you already claimed my bed?" Nico smiled and extended his arms to hug Sammy, but quickly pulled his arms back and wiped the smile off his face, going back to his expressionless face.

"I figured you were dead.." Nico said in a monotone voice he was having trouble keeping. He saw several cuts on his face and bruise on his cheek he didn't see earlier. Nico wanted to hug his roommate but he still held back.

"Bullshit." Samuel pulled Nico in for a hug. Without missing a beat Nico hugged back, holding Samuel tightly and burying his face in the other boy's neck. "You can't hide behind those robot emotions with me ya know. I saw that smile and those arms. You wanted to hug me~" Samuel said in a sing-songy voice.

"So what if I did." Nico growled back.

"Heh...well before we go any further in this conversation, you may want to hide your stolen goods in a different spot." Samuel pulled away from the hug and glanced at Nico's bed. Nico of course was pretty surprised that Samuel knew about his stolen objects but didn't say anything. "I'm pretty sure they're gonna check our room after my little...falling out with my dad.

"I already moved them..."

"Alright. Oh and if you're wondering how I know, it's my little secret~" Samuel winked and Nico rolled his eyes.

Ten minutes later, several nurses and a couple security guards shooed the two out of their room as they searched for other weapons. Nico and Samuel stood out in the hallway waiting for them to finish.

Samuel explained that his father had been yelling at him, blaming him for several things (hospital bills, medication bills, bad influence for his siblings etc.) when finally, his dad snapped and slapped him which explained the bruise. Samuel was already on the edge of a cliff with all the yelling but with that, he just jumped straight off the edge, grabbed a nearby cup and began smashing it on his father's head. Once the cup was in pieces, Samuel didn't stop. He pushed his dad down and began choking him. His dad tried to pull him off but no luck, he then scratched at Samuel in attempt to make him pull back but still no luck. Finally several security guards came and that was the end of that.

Nico was surprised. He didn't normally see his calm and collected friend as someone who would hurt another person! Then again that's probably how Samuel saw him...

While telling his thrilling tale, Samuel took the chance and intertwined Nico and his own hands. Nico blushed a little as their fingers intertwined but he didn't let go.

A couple minutes later, the nurses and guards were done so Nico and Samuel walked back into their room, still holding hands. Samuel held Nico up on his shoulders (Samuel insisted) as Nico checked to make sure his weapons were still there, sure enough they were.

Just as Nico put his things back in place, Ida, a very nice nurse, walked in holding an iPod and an iPod Dock.

"Uhm...what are you two doing?" She asked, walking in slowly. Samuel quickly answered her.

"It's a..trust building exercise. Since we're roommates and all I need to know if a crazy maniac psycho killer comes in here to kill me I can trust him!" Samuel smiled crookedly and set Nico down gently.

"...uh...okay then. Well I just came in here to remind you boys that it is music day! So I'll leave this iPod in here and you can listen to all the music you want!" She set the things down, turned it on and set up the music. "Have fun you two~!" With that, Ida left the two alone.

Samuel walked over to the iPod and flipped through the seemingly endless amount of songs.

"Hey...here's a good one." Samuel clicked it and walked back to Nico. Suddenly, the intro to Demons by Imagine Dragons started playing. Samuel took Nico's hand with one hand, and with the other Samuel held onto Nico's hip. "Shall we slow dance?"

"This isn't a slow dancing kind of song Sammy..."

"Sure it is! Anything can be if you imagine!" Nico smiled and held onto Samuel's hands and hip as well as they began to dance.

Nico leaned his head on Sammy's shoulder as the song played softly in the distance.

"When you feel my heat, look into my eyes. It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide. Don't get too close. It's dark inside. It's where my hide it's where my demons hide..."

"You know Nico...I really like you."

"Is that so?"

"Mhmm."

"You should know, I'm dangerous." Samuel smirked.

"Your thirst for blood, turns me on~" Nico blushed, smiled, and shook his head.

"How sweet."

"...don't wanna let you down but I am hell bound don't wanna hide the truth though this is all for you. No matter what we breed we still are made of greed this is my kingdom come..."

"Nico I'm serious though...I like you."

"And Samuel, I'm serious. I'm dangerous."

"I know. I read your file so I know why you're here."

"And yet you still like me?" Samuel nodded. "Interesting..."

"So...is that a yes?"

"A yes to what?"

"Being my boyfriend?"

"You ask me like we're in fifth grade...but yeah.."

"Amazing."

"...they say it's up to fate I say it's what you make. It's woven in my soul I need to let you go. Your eyes they shine so bright I wanna save that light. I can't escape this now unless you show me how..."

"You know what I'm planning on right? Leaving this place and all?" Samuel nodded.

"You're not too good on hiding things. And if your next question is if I'm in, yes~"

"Perfect." Samuel smiled and kissed Nico, who kissed back, the ending of song lingering in the air.
