The first thing we see is a beautiful beach as seagulls squawk in the background. This beach is revealed to be a background on a computer monitor in an office setting.

The lights suddenly go out as a Worker Drone, Drone 029, hides under the desk. She peeks out to see the paralyzed body of a fellow drone stuck in a boot loop. She crawls slowly towards her colleague as a claw emerges from the shadows. She doesn't notice this, however, as she finally reaches her fallen friend.

A blue light flashes and she drags the drone by the foot. She stops to resume her hiding position, until she works up the courage to finish dragging the drone. But before she can reach it, two creatures, Sentinels, grab the drone and tear it apart, oil spilling out everywhere.

She quickly resumes hiding when a blue light shines before her. A Sentinel has found her location. As she tries to escape, the Sentinel flashes a beam of light into her eyes, boot looping her. The Sentinel crawls down and feasts on her..

All of this has been captured on a security camera.

Cut to how the last episode ended, with you, Uzi, N, and V coming face to face with Tessa, Doll, and J.

Y/N: ...T-Tessa?! Is that really-

Tessa: (Hugs you) Y/N! You remember– (She begins coughing.) Tall, handsome... Air's toxic... (Notices Uzi) Who is this little– (Uzi bites her finger.) Ah!

Uzi: Uzi! Why are you here, human?! 

Y/N: Woah, woah! Uzi, it's ok. Tessa's one of the good ones. She was always there for us.

Uzi: (Notices J) Real tired of killing this one.

J: (Strokes her hair back) Effective drones were cloned more.

N: (Chuckling) It *is* you.

Y/N: It's her, alright.

V: Classic J.

Tessa: Cyn disappeared on Earth–

J: Boss ran away.

Tessa: (Annoyed) We mutually disengaged. Her last known act was siccing you lot on the human exoplanets.

Y/N: What does Cyn even gain from that? 

J: That's what we're trying to figure out, handsome.

Uzi and V: Jealous Glares

Y/N: (blushing) O_O. (clears throat) We know Cyn did *something* to us back on Earth and we went from Worker Drones to Disassembly Drones, but-

Suddenly, Doll activates her AbsoluteSolver to snatch the bug on top of Tessa's head into her hands and takes off.

Tessa: That's... kind of a big piece.

J and Tessa chase Doll, firing at her, until she drops herself down a large shaft. You, Uzi, N, and V catch up. Uzi looks like she's about to fall, but you grab her hand, causing her to blush.

Tessa: J, relay hand, Cyn's orders.

J brings up a screen.

J: Step one: Clear drop zone of life and construct spire. Step two–

Tessa: Enter labs with this symbol.

She tears down some large paper to reveal a poster behind it. Taped near the bottom:

CABIN FEVER

Tessa: Not too much to go off, but if Cyn wants these labs, we burn them down. That keybug's our way in. (She walks towards the edge of the scaffolding.) J, mind my ship.

Tessa tosses J the keys. J glances at You, N and V with uncertainty.

J: ...Of course, boss. Just something I have to do first.

She grabs your hand and pulls you aside. 

Y/N: Why do you-

You're cut off as J awkwardly hugs you.

J: Please be careful.

You awkwardly pat her on the shoulder.

Y/N: I will.

You head back to the rest of the group.

Tessa continues to walk, only for Uzi to stand before her, blocking her path.

Uzi: Why involve Doll? What's happening to... her?

Tessa: She reckons the humans did something to her folks down here. Gave them a sickness she inherited.

Uzi: ...And?

Tessa: I think she's right... (To You, N and V) Coming or what?

She jumps down the shaft.

Y/N: She...doesn't have wings.

You activate yours and fly after her while Uzi, N, and V exchange concerned looks.

You catch Tessa and carry her bridal style before gently setting her on the ground in the cavern. N and V land next to you, followed shortly by Uzi who's still getting used to her Absolute Solver wings.

The five of you begin looking around for a way to enter the main facility.

N: Is the secret elevator...labeled?

Y/N: If they did that, it wouldn't be much of a secret.

You shine your flashlight around coming across scratches in the wall and oil splotches.

Y/N: (deadpans) Well, that's not a scene out of a horror movie or anything.

Tessa: (taking in the scene) Right. Might be some security, specifically against you guys.

Scared, Uzi reaches for your hand.

Tessa: Human-made security this human can control. Hehehehe! 

She types on a panel.

ACCESS DENIED

Tessa: ...Maybe.

V: Anything to screw Cyn's plan.

Y/N: And for Uzi to learn more about her mom. Right?

Uzi: ...Yeah.

You continue walking until they come across a directory. It states that the secret elevator is north of their direction. N giggles excitedly over being right and turns to his friends for validation. V's eye just twitches, while you and Uzi give supportive nods.

Tessa: Huh. Righty-ho. Sources say that way–

Before she can finish, she gets dragged off by her foot.

Tessa: (Rapidly) Except I'm going this way, so save me if you can, THANKS!

You all chase after where Tessa gets dragged off to, coming across a random baby that is loudly laughing while rolling back and forth on the floor.

Uzi: ...Shoot the baby immediately?

Y/N: (readying gun arm) Yeah, I don't trust that thing at all.

The baby robot head suddenly grows legs and runs off before you can hit it. Suddenly, a long arm lands in front of them. The arm switches to a detonator-like device. You turn around and see another drone behind you.

Alice: (Chuckling) Hey, surface slickers.

An EMP explosion occurs and everything goes black...

The sound of an axe chopping is heard as Uzi wakes up strapped to a gurney. She looks around her as we see a magnet attached to her head to keep her sedated. She looks to her right to see Alice chopping off the head of a Drone. She tries to get up, but to no avail.

Alice: Sentinels picked at this one.

She takes a wire from the drone and adds it to her "antlers", similar to how a serial killer would take a trophy from a victim.

Alice: I try and not damage good parts. Of course, some parts are more valuable than others, ain't they?

She pulls back a curtain to reveal V, who is also strapped to a gurney with a magnet on her head.

V: (sadistically) More valuable.

Alice gets ready to chop V's head off.

Uzi: Whoa, hey, cut that thing up and you're gonna get a big creepy worm. An improvement.

V: -_-

Alice: Nah, heat keeps 'em sluggish.

She hops on top of an oven and opens the door, revealing the contents inside: AbsoluteSolver creatures in a non-hostile form.

Alice: Ain't our first rodeo.

She closes the door.

Uzi: (Grossed out) ...Okay, that's enough of this.

She tries to activate her AbsoluteSolver but it doesn't work.

Alice: (Chuckles) Dealt with witches 'fore, too. (She grabs Nori's necklace key and brings Uzi's face up close to hers.) Though, ain't seen 02 since she left us to die...!

Cut to another room, Tessa is bound to a table. A magnet is taped to her helmet due to Beau mistaking her for a drone.

You are shown next to her with a magnet sedating you.

Tessa: Little buddy, you're gonna get red and sad if you try that with me.

Beau is working on N, who seems to enjoy this, for some reason.

N: (Giggling like a child) It tickles! The bad version, though!

Beau pauses for a bit and flinches away as oil splashes everywhere.

N: ...Doing great, dude.

Y/N: N, stop encouraging the failed science experiment!

N: (ignoring you) Tried sawing there?

Beau lowers his saw to a specific spot. N shakes his head "no". Beau moves his saw a little bit to N's right. N winks, indicating "yes". Just as he's about to get to work...

Alice: (Over the radio) Beau, we've got Nori's kid here! (What sounds like a crunching bite followed by Uzi's laughter can be heard in the background.) Need more sedatives. It's bitey.

Beau grabs a couple more magnets and leaves. N waves goodbye, and Beau peeks his head in to wave back.

Tessa: Ugh, finally.

Y/N: Good thing is I managed to record the code he put in.

Tessa: Good on ya, Y/N.

She cuts you free and takes the magnet off your head before you do the same for N.

Tessa: Walk and talk?

Back with Uzi. She gets the two magnets stuck to her head as she spits a severed piece of Alice's finger in Beau's face.

Uzi: How'd you know my mom? Was she cool? She didn't suck, did she?

Alice doesn't answer any of these, focusing on replacing her missing finger piece with a spare. Before she can get back to work...

Alice: (To Beau) Back to the others!

Beau hurriedly exits the room. On a monitor behind Alice, Uzi sees You, Tessa and N escaping your room. A bright light is suddenly shown in her face.

Alice: You're a lot like her, I'll say. 'Cept her yellow eyes.

She prepares to sever Uzi's finger with a hand pruner.

Uzi: (Batting her away) Easy, creep. You've got the wrong–

A blade is suddenly sunk into her hand.

Alice: Nori, right? Sure though imploding all them folks was pretty slick.

Alice gets ready to sever her finger again. Uzi tries to use her AbsoluteSolver to stop her, to no avail.

Uzi: (Voice glitching) Wait, stop. Seriously, what are you talking about?

SNAP!

(V winces.)

Beau enters your room, only to discover you, N, and Tessa missing. He goes out to warn Alice. Nearby, You watch Beau from behind a desk while Tessa is typing away on a computer.

N: They've gotta be in there, right?

Tessa: No worries, we'll save V.

She gestures for you to sit down in a chair. You glare and toss it to the side.

Y/N: (Sternly) And Uzi.

Tessa: Y/N-

Y/N: We're not leaving her behind, Tessa. We need Uzi. And I- ...Uh...

N: (teasing) He *likes* her.

Y/N: (embarrassed) N!

You slug him in the arm.

Tessa turns back to the computer. With a few keystrokes, the room is filled with a yellow glow from the monitor.

Tessa: Wanna take a gander at Earth, boys?

Y/N: No, Tessa, we don't have time for this. We need to rescue V and Uzi before-

Before you can finish, something on the monitor catches your attention as horror dawns on your visor.

Meanwhile, in V and Uzi's room, Beau is looking through the security monitors for any sign of You, Tessa and N. Uzi's severed finger grows back. 

Alice: (Shoves Beau aside) They can't leave the office, idjit! (She turns back to Uzi.) Can't get back in our rooms, neither.

She presses a couple buttons and two doors close, one of which leading into the room they're in now. She presses a third button. This opens a door to allow Sentinels loose.

Uzi: (Terrified) Wait... What is that...?

Alice sits down with "popcorn" (actually batteries) and watches the Sentinels roam the office complexes where you, N, and Tessa are. One Sentinel devours the security camera in front of it. Uzi tries to free herself and the Solver symbol flashes on her eye as Alice finds entertainment in the Sentinels' rampage. 

Cut back to you, N, and Tessa. You are shown looking horrified before the camera cuts to what you're looking at; Earth, completely destroyed.

Y/N: Holy robo-god...(slumps in chair) all those people. Tessa, what did this?

Tessa pulls up a file on the AbsoluteSolver

Tessa: We know it mutates in damaged AI. It took Cyn as a host, then it took everything. The humans here saw what was happening at home. Thought they could understand it.

Visuals show the AbsoluteSolver spreading to exo-planets similar to Copper9

She pulls up a security feed of a possessed Nori. Yevi is shown with her hands over her eye, oil seeping through her fingers, and looking traumatized.

Nori stares at a camera, tentacles similar to Cyn's coming out of her before the feed cuts.

Tessa: All they did was spread it.

Y/N: (a little desperate) But, you can save Uzi? Right? Isn't that why you came here?

Tessa walks over and lightly grabs your hands.

Tessa: I'm here to find which drones were infected. I'm sorry, Y/N. But when we get to the labs and find that list, I'll need you to choose the universe over one little drone. Before she's not herself anymore...

You look down before you hear one of the Sentinels snarling.

You turn just in time to see one of them boot loop N it bites him on the neck and tosses him against the wall.

Y/N: N!

Tessa: (covering your eyes) Don't look at them!

Y/N: How am I supposed to fight if I can't see?!

Tessa: Don't worry about that. On your left! Don't use your gun, it's too loud!

You turn one of our arms into a katana and decapitate one of the Sentinels. You turn the other into a flamethrower and a send a plume of flame into another's face.

Cut to Alice watching the situation unfold, cackling with sadistic glee. Beau turns away from the monitor and sees Uzi activating her AbsoluteSolver, panting, and straining herself to the point her visor cracks. He turns and notices Uzi using her power on the door controls.

Cut to N, who is still boot looped. One of the Sentinels pins him against the wall and prepares to eat him. You leap on its back with your eyes closed and jam your katana into its neck, before melting through with your flamethrower.

One of them advances on you from behind before Tessa gets its attention.

Tessa: Hey, fella. Me, human, order you to be a nice dingo, please?

 The Sentinel screeches and tries to boot loop her, to no effect. Seeing that Tessa isn't effected, it cocks it's head as Tessa tentatively reaches her hand out to it and places it on the Sentinel's "snout". 

The Sentinel then suddenly bites her arm, staining it's mouth with her blood.

Tessa: (pained yell) Bad dingo! Bad dingo!!

From the Sentinel's perspective, we see the blood dripping down Tessa's arm and it glitches as it deviated from its programming. While glitching, it bashes its head against the wall and collapses to the ground.

Cut back to Alice, completely transfixed on the scene. So transfixed, she doesn't notice her "popcorn" floating out of the bag until she goes to eat one and it floats to the ceiling.

She turns and sees Beau floating midair, beeping frantically.

She turns to Uzi, whose head is turned 180 degrees.

Uzi/AbsoluteSolver: Oh, don't mind me.

Behind the curtain, V's eyes widen in horror. Scared, Alice backs away before Uzi/the Solver uses her powers to blast a hole in the wall, destroying the door controls in the process and creating a mini blackhole, before Uzi passes out. 

Alice looks at the monitors and sees the doors to the office complexes opening as the door to the room she is in opens as well. The Sentinels run out, looking for an easier meal.

Alice starts trying to close the door and yells over her shoulder.

Alice: Beau! Help me with-

She turns back and comes face to face with a Sentinel. It boot loops her and she falls to the ground with a staticky scream.

The Sentinel forces the door open before walking in the room, stepping on Alice's head and killing her.

The Sentinel searches the room while Beau hides in the shadows. It starts sniffing at Uzi's unconscious form before Beau grabs a discarded arm and activates a laser blast function, getting the Sentinel's attention and cutting one of V's arm's loose.

V stares at him in confusion. Beau gives her a sad smile and tips his hat at her before the Sentinel kills him.

V cuts her other arm loose and runs cut Uzi loose before the Sentinels converge. She ducks behind the gurney and looks away before squeezing her eyes shut and activating her gun arms.

She turns back and hears nothing, opening her eyes to see the Sentinels destroyed by the lingering energy of the Solver's power. She looks at Uzi as her visor repairs itself.

Cut back to you, N, and Tessa. His visor reads "you're bootlooped. Idiot." before he snaps awake.

Y/N: You good, N?

N: Yeah, I-

He's cut off as V suddenly crashes through the ceiling, carrying Uzi on her back.

Y/N: V! Is Uzi-

V: Hurt. We're leaving.

Tessa: (walking over) I can take a squid at-

V activates her blade arm and holds it to Tessa's neck.

Y/N: Woah, woah! V, what are you doing?!

V: (to Tessa) You said you could *control* the Sentinels!

Tessa: (holding her bleeding arm) I-... Well, at least they can't boot loop me! We'll just have to-

V: (turning away) Do whatever you want. Y/N?

You stand in place, internally debating with yourself who you want to make it out with.

Tessa: (placing her hand on your shoulder) It's ok, Y/N. I haven't been honest with V yet.

V: (glaring) What did she tell you?

Y/N: There's something you really need to know. Something about-

At that point, Uzi regains consciousness. 

Uzi: Ow, my freaking head...(sees you) Y/N?!

You give a small smile and wave before Uzi runs over and hugs you tightly. You return the gesture while V looks at Tessa, her cold glare reflecting off her helmet.

Cut back to the office cubicles. The Sentinel that bit Tessa suddenly reactivates, its eyes turning a sinister red color before it scans footprints, letting out chirps to call to the others. 

The red-eyed Sentinel travels down further into the facility, scanning a warning drawn in Oil for Worker Drones to hold still and depicting the danger of the Sentinels' flashes.

The rest of you are shown sitting on a catwalk above. V prepares to shoot it if necessary while you look deep in thought. Concerned, Uzi puts her hand on your leg.

Uzi: (through visor) U good?

Y/N: (through visor) Not really. There's a lot more to this than we originally thought. 

Uzi: (through visor) Talk later?

Y/N: (through visor) Sure.

Uzi: (through visor) >:3

The Sentinel leaves. You all drop to the floor and look down the hallway, seeing Doll has been bootlooped and is holding the key bug.

You and the rest of the Drones narrow your eyes in suspicion.

Uzi: That's...convenient.

Y/N: Yeah. Doll has been several steps ahead this whole time. You'd think she'd be able to avoid being bootlooped.

Uzi prepares her AbsoluteSolver.

Y/N, N, and V: Don't!

You grab Uzi's arm and trade concerned glances with N and V.

Tessa: (off-screen) Oi!

You look down and see Tessa standing next to Doll.

Tessa: Bloody convenient, eh?

Y/N: -_-. There's no way it's that simple.

You all cautiously walk down the hall, with you and Uzi holding hands.

Y/N and Uzi:

The rest turn back and see this.

N: :)

V: (trying to hide her jealousy) Ew.

Tessa: Don't date my robot, please.

Uzi: (to Tessa) He's his own person! (to V) You, "ew". You're mean.

The key bug suddenly floats over to Doll, who's revealed to be perfectly fine, having played a gif of a bootloop effect on her visor.

She grins sadistically before using the key bug to open an elevator shaft, before using her AbsoluteSolver to open all the doors to the room in order for the Sentinels to get in, before dropping down.

Y/N: -_-. Anyone else really starting to hate her?

Uzi, V, and Tessa: (raise hands)

An elevator comes down and blocks the shaft, leaving all of you stuck with the Sentinels making their way into the room.

One of them flashes it's light as all of you except Tessa shield your eyes.

Tessa: (standing in front of you) Uh oh. Hope I don't human everywhere!

She thrusts her arm out, causing blood to splatter on the floor. One of the Sentinels looks back at the red-eyed one and chirps, as if confirming with a pack alpha that they should attack.

The red-eyed Sentinel snarls and rushes forward. V climbs up the wall while Tessa picks up her sword and you prepare to fight until you see Uzi use her AbsoluteSolver on the closed elevator.

Y/N: Uzi, no!

Her solver power turns from Purple to Yellow as her hand contorts in an unnatural manner.

Tessa: (spraying more blood) Oops. All mitosis! 

The red-eyed sentinel picks a drone gun arm off the floor and tosses it in the air before catching it in its mouth and shoots at Tessa.

V suddenly appears in front of Tessa and catches the bullet in her claw before throwing it back and severs the gun barrel from the arm.

V: (wearing a pair of broken glasses) Did I get it?

Uzi is shown panting and hyperventilating, unable to control her power.

Y/N: (readying your katana arm) I'm sorry!

Uzi: Wha-

You bring your arm down and sever Uzi's hand. Instead of falling to the floor, the oil from the wound floats toward the ceiling.

Uzi turns towards you and N, briefly fully possessed by Cyn.

She goes back to normal as you catch her and gently lay her on the floor.

Uzi/AbsoluteSolver: (severely glitching) What the hell is going on?!

Tessa: Bugger. That's bad. Come on, team!

She grabs N and hauls him into the elevator.

You gently pull Uzi in and look back to see V still fighting the Sentinels as the damaged elevator shifts down, barely being held by it's support cables.

Y/N: V! Come on! 

V duels with the red-eyed Sentinel, who is now holding a Katana arm in it's mouth.

She tosses it to the ground and prepares to kill it before another Sentinel damages a mechanism on the elevator and it starts ascending again.

You turn away from it and shoot as it flashes its' light, managing to kill it, though the light knocks V's glasses off and another Sentinel stomps on them.

She looks back at the rest of you.

V: Hey, um-

Y/N: No, no, no! V! Please! We need you! 

V: Nah. Uzi...I trust you. And Y/N...

Eyes closed, she dashes forward, grabbing and kissing you briefly, but firmly.

V: (voice cracking a little) I've always loved you.

Before you can respond, she uses her laser to cut the support cables on the elevator.

Y/N: V! PLEASE!!!

V closes her eyes and salutes as the Sentinels converge on her, and the support cables snap.
