Chapter 4: Heading to the laboratories

It was time to fulfill the Serial U Designation part of the deal: it was to go in search of the laboratories of the planet Copper-9

N was the first to wake up, his system began to turn on, indicating the process to do so through the display. Once he finished that managed to wake up, yawned and fell on his feet, keeping his metallic wings and looking around.

He noticed his friend still sleeping – "She looks cute" – said in his mind and blushed for a moment.

Then he felt himself overheating due to lack of oil – "Biscuits... Where can I find oil?" – suddenly he heard an object fall in the distance. A little scared and strange, decided to go in that direction.

"Hello?" – N notice the shadow of someone his size, he seems to be doing something with some materials that he hides from the touch – "Uzi?"

"Oh... oh, hello N" - the alternate version of Uzi greeted a little nervously.

"What are you doing?" – he asked, noticing how little upset she was.

"Um... I..." - she turns his back to show some cups full of oil - "I prepared this for you"

"Oh yes, thanks!" – He thanked happily, grabbing a cup and drinking quickly – "I was close to overheating..." – he said relieved.

"Batteries?" – she offered in a bowl of those objects, which are assimilated as a snack or fried food for the robots. The murder drone ate some

"Mmm... delicious, hehe" – this made him happy for moments.

The sounds became annoying for Uzi, who woke up little by little - "Aaaaa..." - she said with annoyance - "Let'me sleep..." - she could barely turn on his system.

"Oh, hello uzi" – N greeted as he continued enjoying eating batteries – "Did you sleep well?" – the other version of Uzi looked at that with slight concern

"Mmmm..." - Uzi stretches to get up - "Yes... you don't have to worry N..." - immediately gives him a cup of oil - "huh?"

"Will that do?" – suddenly Uzi drank a little

"Yeah... something like that, I already felt like my system was overheating."

"Sorry for interrupting" - said Uzi murder drone - "But we have a pending account" - both purple drones exchanged slightly uncomfortable glances.

"Yes..." - he sighs - "I have to break up... or I don't know, the point is to get a part of the prism" - N would realize the situation - "Is everything okay girls?"

The two react instantly – "Yes, everything is fine N!" – she responded

"Nothing bad..." - Uzi worker drone said, leaving the cup on the table - "Let's start at once" - she ordered and the three headed to the laboratory.

The prism was in a glass box, on its sides there were holes into which someone could put their hands.

"Well N... is calling you" – said Uzi. He gave a light sigh with little nerves, the girls decided to stay behind to watch him.

Once he was in front, took out sharp claws from his right hand and from his left hand a long blade – "Be careful..." – he whispered to touch it, felt slight shocks but had no intention of stopping.

"Come on N!" – supported her friend. N takes this to continue, he manages to insert his sharp weapons into the prism, but it causes a strong reaction and now he does feel pain

"N!" – the alternate version shouted, she tries to go with him but Uzi stops her.

"Wait!" – She said – "Let N finish this!"

"But if we don't help him, I don't know what that thing can do to him!"

At that, the drone managed to cut a part of the prism, screaming in pain, he took out his hands and fell to the ground. Uzi murder drone was fast enough to grab that small part of the prism, and the original Uzi used her power to catch her friend from falling to the ground.

"He did..."

"N!" – Uzi approaches him to start moving him. Him system seems to crash for moments – "Damn it!"

N react for moments – "I love doing anything!" – It went off again – "Bis-Biscuits... t-t-that w-was da-dange-rous"

"I'll take care of it" - Dissambly Drone U manage to take out a kind of electric weapon to shock it and thus turn off its core

"My turn" - Uzi gave him a light slap to get him to start latching on. They both felt relieved.

He managed to wake up after a few seconds, N was exalted – "What happened!?" – look at the two – "Did I do it!?" – the purple drone with a murder drone core smiles and shows him that he did it

"Okay... let's put it on"

Uzi grabbed it and very carefully inserted it into the center of his weapon - "Now I name you" - she says watching how it starts to work - "Portal Shooter!" – names his new creation, raising it upwards.

"Was that introduction necessary?" – interrupted the murder drone Uzi

"Oh, come on, even you would make an introduction like that" – she responded, looking at her.

"And how are we going to get back home?" – N asked – "I mean... are we going to ask that gun or what?"

Uzi stares in shock – "Uh... Shit!" – She shouted – "It doesn't matter..." – she sighs to calm down – "We will have to depend on destiny... literally"

"Well... already have a way to return to their world" – she says moving his fingers – "So... let's go to the laboratories?"

"First... let's see if it works" – they left the cabin. It was already night and with a slight winter storm

They decided to be on a frozen lake for the test. Uzi sighs and prepares – "Okay..." – she sets the last bit on his gun to aim – "Let's go!" – the weapon begins to work, the core ignites completely, transmitting its energy through the slide until it exits through the barrel of the weapon. A flash of transparent colors comes out and manages to create a large circle, forming a portal.

"Did it work?" – Uzi murder drone asked, being impressed.

The duo of drones approached, and thus the portal gave the image of a completely different scenario. They were able to visualize a giant mansion, it was raining and the strangest thing was that screams of terror could be heard inside.

"Um... Uzi?... I think we shouldn't go in" – suggested N, a little scared.

"I was just testing it... but you're right" – she responded agreeing and the portal immediately closed – "Ok... we have two options... the time to open or invoke is very short... or We can definitely do it with our own voice."

"Whatever..." – Uzi murder drone sees the two drones – "Can we go now?"

"Well... let's do it" – agreed with her alternate version, she suddenly spread her metal wings

"Do you want me to take you Uzi?" – N said kindly, looking at her friend.

"No, no" - she denied a little nervously - "I... I can N, thank you by the way" - she calmed down to demonstrate her characteristic wings as if they were from a bat and, on top of that, bring an organic tail, having a somewhat terrifying since it has eyes and a small jaw

"Wow... that's incredible" - said Uzi murder drone reacting in disbelief - "How come you have... wings... that strange appearance?"

"It's a..." – she begins to remember those heartbreaking moments, where he ended up with several of his classmates and injuring his friends – "Long... story..." – responded a little blankly, she really didn't want to tell how it all went

"Okay?..." - she accepted a little uncomfortable and immediately gave a big jump that propelled her to fly.

"Let's go Uzi" - N indicated to her friend, performing the same action to fly.

Although she tries, she does not have the strength of a disassembly drone – "Do you need a hand?" – his friend descended offering his help

"Yes... thank you" - Uzi accept with a smile, grabbing his hand.

Thus, thanks to N, Uzi was able to use his wings to fly – "Alright, follow me to the Copper-9 laboratories" – ordered Uzi murder drone. The three began the journey towards that place.

But first they decided to make a stop.

They ended up arriving back at that cave, with the purpose of returning that prism to the place where it was found.

"Remember... it will stay here... I'm not sure if you'll need them to..."

"Yes" – she interrupts his worker drone version – "Before we leave I'll take down this site... we don't want her to be discovered by someone worse, right?"

She nodded. They were waiting for N outside, because he offered to put her in her place

"Ready!" – notice the one returning from the darkness – "Now..."

"I'll take care of it" – Uzi murder drone generated two cannons to destroy the entrance so that thousands of pieces of rocks would fall and seal the entrance – "No one will pass now"

"Okay, let's get back on track" – now, the three continue on their way

The place where those laboratories were was a place in ruins, and the most striking thing was the great void in the center of everything.

The three land in a small area that leads to the entrance – "Ok... according to my locator... the laboratories are down there" – points out the murder drone, observing the dark void.

"That's deep" – N spoke looking at the site

"Let's go down carefully" - she was the first to jump, followed by N and finally Uzi who came down as if he were a bat, moving in different directions to land.

"Okay... and now where... oh for robo-Jesus..." – Uzi would be slightly shocked by the scene

"Do you think this is similar to our world?" – N whispered to her friend.

"A small chance... I guess?" – She responded a little uncomfortable and tries to be strong so as not to feel afraid.

Then he felt someone touch his hand, it was N – "Calm down, okay?" – this made her react with a smile, she seemed to trust him and now she feels safe by his side

"Sorry if I interrupt... but you have to see this" – she spoke, showing them that there is more depth in the place, with a large hallway at the back.

They were walking and being on alert, because they don't know if everything is really abandoned or if there is someone lurking around there, they looked from left to right without seeing anything worrying, maybe a little disorder but they didn't give it that much importance.

They soon reached another hallway, the lighting was almost zero. Uzi murder drone moves forward until he sees something strange there – "What the heck... is it...?" – A strange baby voice began to play, causing the three of them to be slightly scared. The two disassembly drones took out their weapons and Uzi took out his power to solve

"Should we-"

"No" - she denied in front of her small drone version - "It's a trap... I'll take care of it" - it was immediately revealed that this thing was a baby drone with the only difference of having 4 sharp legs resembling a spider. It started to move in a very slippery way.

"N... don't let him see you" – she ordered and N obeyed, moving away and taking another path. Uzi would start shooting at him but he couldn't handle how agile that is. Something would pass beneath them, a hand from a murder drone with a very familiar weapon.

"N!"

That was the signal, he appeared on the other side to shoot and damage that weapon, the small drone was left in shock looking at everyone. They had intentions of fleeing, he seemed very nervous but Uzi stopped him with his power - "What are you?" – She said a little confused.

"Oh wow... it's the same weapon that J was carrying" - he warned, approaching and grabbing what's left.

"Whoever is behind this?... is going to pay" – Uzi murder drone took out its sharp claws trying to hurt him

"STOP NOW!" – a voice spoke through the speakers

The three looked at each other confused, looking around until they came across a camera that was watching them.

"Wait a minute... that color..." – the voice stares at the two drones – "I don't remember Nori having had twin drones..."

"Do you know our mom?" – both Uzis repeated

"Yes... I guess Nori knows how to keep secrets"

"You've messed with the wrong drones" – grabs the little one – "And this one is going to pay"

"Calm down, calm down... you know, I never imagined that one of Nori's daughters would be so aggressive... on top of that you are..." - she begins to analyze her through the camera - "Half murder drone and half worker "drone"

Now, formed a cannon in his other hand to damage the camera causing it to no longer transmit or image – "Oh... so, do you want to play that way?" – said that threatening voice

It was soon revealed that she was a drone worker in low conditions, her eyes are orange and she has reddish hair. Wears a black dress, wearing a helmet and on the sides several things stuck together simulating deer antlers.

Immediately pressed several buttons that alarmed some large creatures that are on 4 legs, they emerged with a ferocious scream.

"You wouldn't be able to kill a baby would you?" – Uzi asked, seeing what his other Self does.

She only sighed somewhat tediously - "Not even in my worst actions" - released that little one falling to the ground, he took the opportunity to move quickly despite being damaged with the purpose of hiding and escaping - "Who is that voice?"

"Um...Uzis girls?" – N heard something in the distance – "Can you also hear... strange sounds in the hallways?"

Everyone manages to feel that they come together – "What are those things that come?" – asked the purple drone worker with some fear

"Prepare yourselves" – warning the murder drone on alert

In the background it was possible to notice a blue light approaching, suddenly it was revealed that it was a creature similar to a medium-sized velociraptor and they are known as Sentinels.

"What's that?" – Before N could react, one of those things emitted a strange flash that paralyzed him, he fell to the ground with a strange charging symbol on the viewfinder.

"N!" – they shouted in unison. They noticed that more of them were coming, only behind their backs.

"Try to cover yourself!" – Uzi indicated, closing his eyes – "Don't let them enlighten you with that!"

"And how are we going to kill them!?" – asked his alternate version, seeing how they approached them. N was dragged and bitten but she took it upon herself to shoot him in the head with her cannon to kill him. The rest let out a loud roar of anger

"We need to think of something but now!" – used his power to knock down a few sentinels

"I have an idea!" – despite having his eyes closed shoots what she can although those creatures are more agile – "Use that thing to close their mouths so I can shoot them to kill them!"

"COME ON!" – Uzi accepted at once and so they both worked as a team, little by little sentinels were falling, the plan worked, but soon there were too many of them and they had to retreat.

"We must go for N and recover!" – Uzi murder drone ordered. They managed to reach him and dragged in a hurry. They had to open a door to hide in a room

Uzi worker drone used telekinetic power to destroy some furniture and use it as protection for the door to prevent the creatures from following them. They ended up agitated from that situation

"N?" – She approached to make him react but he didn't respond.

"Those things have something that paralyzes us" - commented the little purple drone, she saw that door behind her, only sounds of scratches and bites could be heard from the other side.

"We must go"

"I don't think so" - someone was with them, they looked scared only to see that curious drone carrying a dangerous weapon - "Let's go sleep for a while" - she pulled the trigger, generating a strong electrical charge that suddenly turned them off.

Tessa had already connected the triangle-shaped core to the machine, intertwined with the colorless prism – "Well, the process was too anticlimactic... but here we are now" – she indicates from the control system – "J!. .. As long as I give you my signal, you are going to give it power through that connector!"

"Understood" - she accepted, taking out that powerful and electric weapon.

"Then you" – sees Doll and V – "You will be in charge of training or trying to locate N through this"

"Unfortunately... we have to try" – she responded without alternative, waiting for the machine to turn on.

J inserts the weapon into the connector, managing to give it enough energy to make it work. The machine reacted and immediately gave its power to the prism. The two drones approached little by little

V noticed how some light flashes ran through his body, just like Doll, the prism recovered the characteristic luminous orange color.

"Good!" – Tessa noticed that change – "I'll lower the intensity of this" – the machine received a low level, but still got enough power

The murder drone positioned itself in front of the prism and the worker drone went to the back, soon a slight electrical discharge passed through its systems. A strange sensation causes them to move their hands to touch the prism, revealing all the power of this prism.

V saw a different version of her, the appearance was that she was completely broken, almost her entire body was damaged and without parts, it shocked her quite a bit since that look caused her a little fear, because even though she had been a little sadistic in the past, this is a level beyond

Doll was not far behind, a different version with the appearance of a disassembly drone was what was observed through the prism, she looked askance at her right hand, then looked at the prism, she had no intention of moving. Doll just went blank, didn't believe something like that existed

They were shocked with those strange different versions, retreating and causing the rest to look at them confused.

"What happened?" – the human noticed that – "J, take care of this, I'll take a quick look at the two of them" – she ordered and so J positioned herself on the panel

Tessa opened the protection hatch, entering with V and Doll – "Ok, what did you feel or what?" – It approaches – "What's wrong? Did you see a specter or something similar inside that thing?" – both did not have the ability to speak, they cannot process what they saw

"If you're not going to tell me, I-" – she immediately did the same action. Feeling that same sensation run through the entire body

Watching the prism emit a portal inside showing her a different version of herself.

She manage to hear a voice similar to hers - "N!" - said Tessa happily and waving. His appearance was that of a disassembly drone, keeping his dark hair and having the same uniform he is wearing right now.

"WHAT THE FU-?!" – she went backwards falling. Had the same expression – "What...god...was that?" – Tessa said getting up looking at the two

"I hope N is okay" – V wishes, looking into the prism, where she sees her reflection. The three of them stayed like that without saying anything for a while.
