In another part of the building; V, N, and Tessa were running through the halls in search of Uzi and Doll. As for T, she was nowhere to be found. Just gone without a trace. No tracker, no motion, nothing.

"Where are they?" N asked in worry, running ahead of V but behind N

"I don't know!" Tessa said.

"If I know Uzi, we just need to follow the sound of mayhem!" V said with a grin.

"Mayhem has no sound! Where would we even he-"

A loud roar plus an explosion caught their attention .

"You were saying, Tessa?" V asked, still grinning.

"... Shut up, V." Tessa said.

The trio rushed to to the explosion as N pulled something out of his jacket for eye protection, in case of more sentinels. Just an old pair of glasses.

"I hope these work." He said as V gasped at the sight of them.

"Wait. Are those...my glasses?" V asked with a blush as she came to a halt.

"Yep, they sure are." N said as he and Tessa did the same.

"And you...you kept them all this time?" V asked.

"Well, yeah. Just in case you ever needed them again." N said, smiling softly at V.

He offered them to V as she slowly reached for them, being careful to not crush the delicate treasure of her past. Picking them up from N's hand.

"Thanks..." V said, feeling her "heart" beating a mile a minute as she put them on.

'Oh god, he's still so sweet! After all this is over, I'm gonna do what I should've done years ago and just kiss him!' V thought.

"Hate to ruin the moment... but we're kinda in a bit of a hurry as death is quickly approaching." Tessa said, tapping her foot as she heard more sentinels coming.

"THANK YOU, Tessa. Your suggestion is taken into consideration." V said with grit teeth.

'Jealous bitch.' V thought as they continued running.

Soon, more sentinels started to close in as the human quickly came up with a plan.

"V, get the ones on the left! I've got the ones on right!" Tessa said, drawing her sword.

"Hmm!" V hummed with a nod as she switched her left hand for a machine gun.

She rained down bullets on the raptors as one of them charged their stun light, making N quickly cover his face with his cap.

"Incoming!" He shouted!

FLASH!

Tessa didn't cover her eyes because of her helmet while V stared right at it with her glasses on...and she was perfectly fine!

'N, I am so going to kiss you after this!' V thought happily as she kept firing at the Sentinels.

"N, go find the others! We can handle them!" Tessa said.

"On it!" N shouted as he jumped up and flew over the sentinels!

One roared and turned to follow him before a bullet tore through its head!

"Eyes on me, ugly!" V shouted.

Stepping in front of her, Tessa swung her sword to cut them down before they got close to V.

"I hate these fucking things." Tessa said in anger.

"Hey! You authorized they be made!" V said back, chainsawing a sentinel in the throat!

"That was an executive decision by the board of directors and you know it!" Tessa said as she jumped over a sentinel and pulled out her gun, shooting another in the eyes.

"You can say that all you want, but we both know that you're no better than all the humans that threw us away!" V said, clawing on in the neck.

"Excuse me?! At least I found you and put you back together! You guys are more family to me than my parents were!" Tessa said, ducking a tail.

"And yet you did nothing as we were sent away to wipe the drones off this planet!" V said, blocking a foot claw to the face.

"You know why you need to do it! So something like Cyn isn't created again!" Tessa said, stabbing a sentinel before jumping behind another one and snapping its neck.

"And look how that turned out!" V said, snapping the neck of a sentinel before getting an idea.

Breaking her own tail stinger and cracking the glass, V slathered her swords in her nanite acid before slashing more sentinels! She didnt care if it kind of hurt right now, V was just really annoyed with literally EVERYTHING that's happened today.

'Can we just find that elevator and have this day just fucking end already?!' V thought as a sentinel bite her arm, making her scream in pain.

Helping her out, Tessa slammed her sword against it's neck to kill it.

"N, you bloody bloke, you better hurry!" Tessa said before dodging another sentinel.

The male murder drone was moving as fast as he could.

'Gotta find Uzi and Doll before they become raptor food!' N thought before hearing another explosion. 'They're close, yes!'

"Hang on, Uzi! Big bro is coming!" He shouted as he started flying faster then before.

With the "happy" couple, Uzi and Doll were quickly running out of a halleay to escape the sentinels.

Doll was still shooting at the sentinels with Uzi's torn off arm while Uzi was using her own Solver to throw sentinels into each other or crush them like Doll did with drones at the dance.

"Why are there so many of these fucking things?!" Uzi shouted.

"У людей был стояк динозавров! (Humans had a boner for dinosaurs!)" Doll shouted, still shooking with seemingly endless ammo.

Uzi tried her best not to laugh before a making a rocket launcher. Firing it, multiple sentinels were destroyed while few continued rushing to the duo.

"ROOOOOOOAH!" One roared as it jumped at the two.

Until it was stopped by N, who blocked its mouth with a shield...which he didn't know he had until now.

"N?!" Uzi and Doll said in surprise.

"Don't worry, I've got this!" N said before stabbing the Sentinel in the throat with his stinger!

"RAAAAH!" It roared in pain from its melting throat as started shooting at it.

Sending the dying sentinel into the others before he aimed at the ceiling above the hallway, breaking it apart and making the hallway cave in.

"Damn... why didn't we think of that?" Uzi asked, fianlly able to breath calmly.

"Выживание, Узи. (Survival, Uzi.)" Doll said as she puts the several arm in her shoulder.

"... I don't know how I feel about you saying that with my arm as a weapon." Uzi said, looking at Doll.

"Это была твоя идея, так что не вините меня. (This was your idea, so don't blame me.)" Doll said to her.

N looked between them and felt that something happened, something he couldn't explain but could just tell from how..."comfortable" they are in this strange moment.

"Did something happen between you? Cuz you look like you're glowing, Uzi." N said to his little sister.

"Bite me! It's nothing!" Uzi said with a "tiny" blush.

"Then why are you blushing?" N asked, grinning.

"It's nothing!" Uzi shouted, looking away. "W-w-where are the others?"

"Oh right! They're dealing with sentinels back that way, let's go!" N said, pointing to where he came from. "Lets hurry!"

The trio quickly ran back to the other two.

'I can't let them know about the kiss yet.' Uzi thought, glancing at her maybe girlfriend Doll. 'Not until we can find this patch to save us.'

About a minute or two later, they arrived back to V and Tessa... and found dozens of Sentinel corpses around them while they were both covered in oil.

"It's about damn time, N! My glasses nearly broke again!" V shouted but she was happy to be alive right now.

"Took your sweet time, N. Not all of us are robots, love." Tessa said, exhausted and sitting on a sentinel corpse.

"Well, they didn't exactly slow down." N said, gesturing to Uzi and Doll.

"Well, then let's get finding that elevator before more show up." Tessa said as she got up slowly.

"Agreed." Uzi said before turning to Doll. "Should we show them?"

'Show us what?' N, V, and Tessa thought as Doll nodded.

Uzi turned back to the group and reached under her hat, pulling out the robotic cockroach they found back at Camp 98.7.

"A... bug?" V asked, tilting her head.

"Is that a little snack for ya?" Tessa asked, tilting his head as well.

"No. It's not a snack. It's the key to getting to the elevator." Uzi said blankly.

"It is? How?" N asked, rubbing his chin.

"It belonged...It belong to my mom. It's the whole reason we know about the elevator in the first place." Uzi said, gesturing to herself and Doll.

"Great, let's go so we can get this thing, get out of here, and never come back." V said, nodding.

"Agreed. So, where is the directory?" Tessa asked as she looked around and looked up. "Oh, there it is!"

Everyone looked up and saw another weird directory, following it as it directed them RIGHT towards the hallway that N caved in to save Uzi and Doll.

"...Ерьмая ирония. (...Motherfucking irony.)" Doll said bluntly.

"Yep." Uzi said bluntly.

"Well, looks like we've got some digging to do, loves." Tessa said, rolling her shoulders. "Wish I had you guys built with drills for times like this."

"Didn't you? I mean you built us with chainsaw hands and ninja stars." N said to Tessa, making a chainsaw hand with left hand and creating ninja stars in his right hand.

"Sadly, the company didn't think there was any reason for it." Tessa said, shaking her head.

"And this isn't a good reason?!" V shouted, pointing to the caved in hall.

"Hey! It's human error, we're not psychic!" Tessa said.

"Ugh, if only I had my railgun right now." Uzi said with a groan.

"Then you'd blow yourself up again." V said, putting her hands on her hips.

"That was J's fault! How many times do I have to say that?!" Uzi screamed.

"Until I believe it." V said, making Uzi groan.

Doll rolled her eyes as she grabbed Uzi and pulled her to the rubble of the caved-in hallway.

"Давай просто начнем копать. (Let's just start digging.)" Doll said, tapping Uzi's dismembered arm on the ground to make the claws come out.

She then began using it as a shovel, making Uzi look at her in surprise.

'Oh wow. That's pretty resourceful.' Uzi thought before making her own claws to dig.

"Guess we doing this the old fashioned way." V said, making her claws and going to dig as well.

"Yep. Guess so." N said as he walked to help too.

"You all do that. I'll keep watch for more sentinels." Tessa said, sitting back against a wall and watching them do the work since she was still tired.

She even had her sword at the ready in her lap before pulling out her gun, reloading it with new bullets.

'I need to get that patch.' Tessa thought, clenching her gun tightly. 'No matter what it takes.'
