After making sure everyone was safe, V sent a message to N, telling him to get here now.

'N, I need you back here now!' V sent as she looked at the trees, where Uzi was fighting Doll.

'N, where are you?' V thought before running off to see the fight.

Uzi wasn't doing good on her own, while she is skilled with her weapons, she isn't as trained as V or N.

And Doll, she was a complete unknown, but in her feral state of mind, she was like an animal. And as everyone knows, a cornered animal is the most dangerous of all.

BOOM!

An explosion drew V's attention, making her take to the air to hurry!

'Don't worry, U, I'm on my way.' V thought.

Back with Serial Designation U/Uzi, she was crashing through a tree as she was smoking from her missile being thrown back at her.

"Ugh, That just seems like cheating." Uzi said, picking herself back up.

"Hehehehehehehe." Doll giggled again, her voice echoing around the forest as Uzi tries to find her.

"Doll! Please, just come out let me help you!" Uzi shouted, switching to ber gun and firing off at any echo she heard.

She managed to get lucky and hit Doll right in the visor. She fell out of a tree and began to heal, managing to be herself for a second as she hit the ground.

Ugh...." Doll groaned, blinking her "eyes" a bit as she stood up. "Ч-Что происходит? (W-What is going on?)"

"Doll, you're back. Thank god." Uzi said, slowly appraoching ber. "Listen, it's going to be okay. You just need to stay calm and stop attack anyone else."

"Атакуешь? Что- (Attacking? Wh-)" Doll asked before memories of what she did came back to her.

She gasped, covering her mouth in shock, as Uzi sped up her approach.

'Is she...feeling guilty?' Uzi thought, confused and surprised since Doll hasn't shown guilt from killing people before.

"Doll, look at me. Jusy try and stay calm." Uzi said, "If you start to panic, then we will all be in trouble."

Doll's visor began to glitch between her normal eyes and the X, making her hold her head in pain.

"Doll! Doll, listen to me! It's gonna be okay, we'll figure this out!" Uzi said, quickly reaching doll and holding her hands. "Just stay with me!"

Doll took a few deep breathes as she slowly grabbed Uzi wrists...

...and then ripped her arms clean off. She then backhanded Uzi to the ground before eating both arms!

'Shit!' Uzi thought, her arms slowly regrowing.

"Hehehehehehehe." Doll giggled before kicking Uzi into a tree, preparing to finish her off.

Uzi had one more trick up her sleeve and waited for Doll to get closed.

'NOW!' Uzi thought as she stabbed Doll in the foot with her tail, injecting it with nanite acid!

"Aah!" Doll yelped in pain, hopping back on one foot.

"HA!" Uzi cheered before Doll's tail mouth ripped her own foot off?! "What the fuck?!"

Suddenly, just like a real murder drone, a new foot grew back in its place. Even her shoe was back, impressing Uzi a bit before Doll grabbed her tail and ripped off the nanite acid tip!

"AAAAH! That hurts too much!" Uzi shouted.

By this point, Uzi's arms and come back and she immediately started shooting at Doll. Only for rhe russian robot to teleport rapidly in place, dodging all of the bullets as her wings reached out and held Uzi's arms to the side!

"Hehehehehe, game over Uzi." Doll said, pulling back the nanite stinger.

"Doll, stop! This isn't you!" Uzi said, begging.

Doll still didn't listen as she aimed to stab Uzi in the head, ready to kill her with her own stinger.

POW!

"Get away from my sister!" V shouted, kicking Doll away.

Crashed intk a tree as V looked at Uzi.

"You good?" She asked.

"I am now." Uzi said as she got up and her tail stinger grew back, "That was a close one. I've died once, so I don't want to do it again. The humans lied, there is no light at the end of a tunnel."

"Good to know and that doesn't matter right now. We need to stop your friend before she kills us." V said to Uzi, lookkng at rhe recovering Doll. "I'll go high, you go low. There's no way she can handle two of us at once."

"Sounds like a plan." Uzi said as she pulled out the button eyepatch Doll gave her.

'I was hoping it wouldn't come to this but I've got no choice.' She thought as the spike came out of the back of it. 'I hope this works.'

As Uzi and V rushed to stop Doll's rampage, a certain male murder drone was exploring an abandoned part of Camp 98.7.

He had originally been looking for Uzi like V, but something about the place drew him in. Like, there were answers here to questions N had been denying for so long.

He knew if he was every going to find something to help him het those answer, it was here.

'I'm sorry, V, but I have to do this.' N thought, pushing open the door to the faculty and walking inside.

The place looked fairly the same as it did during the time humans lived on the planet, but that just gave it a creepy vibe.

'There's no such thing as ghosts, N. Remember that.' N thought as he slowly walked inside.

He made his way over to an old monitor. It appeared to still work, so he turned it on and saw an empty desktop screen.

"Maybe there are some disks or tapes left around here." N said before he began searching the room.

Soon after, he found a JC Jenson In Space training tape that said "Zombie Drones".

Just the sight of it, the title itself, made N fearful as he hesitated to approach it.

"Z-Zombie drones?" N stuttered, reaching out for it.

When he touched it, he had some kind of flashback or something.

Flashback(?)

A strange worker drone with sharp teeth, a murder drone eating a shadowy limb, and a giant black sphere with the word "[null]" on it in the sky!

Flashback(?) end

"HUH!" N gasped, stepping back from the tape as he held his head.

'W-What was that?' He thought, gasping for air.

He was so confused and so scared right now, but then heard gunfire in the distance and realized thag V and Uzi were in trouble.

'Shit! I gotta go help them!' N thought before he grabbed the tape and ran out of the room.

Even if what was on it might scare him, N knew this tape had answers they needed as flew into the air and did his best to track the sound of gunfire.

'Okay, okay, where are they?' N thought, stuffing the tape in his shirt as he looked down from the sky.

BOOM!

A massive explosion like that could only have come from V, so it was clearly that direction. Northwest.

"There! Hang on, guys!" N shouted as he turned and flapped to the explosion.

At said explosion, V was knocked to the ground after Doll threw the rocket back at her.

"Can you stab her faster!?" V yelled, picking herself up.

"I am trying as best as I can!" Uzi shouted, engaged in combat with one sword hand. "Doll is a hardcore anime fan like me, so she's got skills!"

"Then figure something out before we're destroyed!" V said.

"Again, I'm trying!" Uzi shouted before Doll knocked her away.

"Sloppy, sloppy." Doll said in English, playfully spinning a halberd in hand.

"Ugh! I am really getting tired of this, Doll." Uzi said.

"Really? I'm not." Doll teased again.

'Robo-God, why is she so snappy now?!' Uzi thought as she switched to something she never thought she'd see again.

The short range EMP blaster that J had used on her during their only fight. Before Uzi became Serial Designation U.

'Holy shit! I almost about this! Now I'm glad I have her parts in me... wait that didn't sound right.' Uzi thought with wide eyes.

"Eh?" Doll let out, confused by the new weapon.

'Dont think about it, just use her confusion!' Uzi thought as she charged up the EMP blaster,

"V! You better be immune to this!" Uzi shouted, aiming for the air.

"Immune to what?" V asked before an emp wave was unleashed, washing over her and Doll.

"Wha-" Doll let out before her body collapsed, shutting down/falling unconscious.

'Ugh! I hate the EMP cannon!' V thought, not shutting down but feeling sluggish.

Seeing the blast succeed, Uzi retracted the weapon and walked over to Doll. Still holding the button eyepatch she made.

"Hope you can forgive me for this." She said to Doll.

'Please let this work.' Uzi thought as she pulled the button back and looked away.

STAB!

Without looking back, Uzi stabbed the button eyepatch into Doll's right visor/eye as a strap ejected from the sides to fasten around her head.

A buffering symbol showed up on the other side of the visor and Uzi waited.

"So, its finally over." V said, sluggishly walking over to Uzi.

"Yeah, it is." Uzi said, keeping her eyes on Doll.

"How long is this gonna take?" V asked

"Don't know." Uzi said.

After a few minutes, Doll came to and was meet with the sight of two murder drones with their guns drawn.

"Doll? Are you... you?" Uzi asked delicatly.

"..." Doll was silent as she slowly sat up and wrapped herself in her wings, whimpering slightly.

"Doll?" Uzi asked.

Uzi glanced at V, who shrugged in confusion, before she put her guns away and slowly approached Doll.

"Look, Doll.....I get that this was unexpected." She said before kneeling down and slowly moving Doll's wings apart. "But look, I-"

"Что со мной не так? (What is wrong with me?)" Doll asked softly as "tears" ran down her screen. "Почему...я вдруг так себя чувствую? (Why....do I feel this way all of a sudden?)"

"Feel what way?" Uzi asked.

Doll stopped talking and tightened her wings around her.

"Doll, I can't help if you don't talk." Uzi said, pulling the wings apart again. "Please?"

" ...Я не понимаю, почему это происходит со мной. Почему я вдруг... чувствую себя таким виноватым из-за убийства людей. (...I don't understand why this is happening to me. Why I'm suddenly....feeling so guilty about killing people.)" Doll said, holding a hand to her chest.

"And that's normal (I think), I still refuse to kill people in order to drink oil. All that matters is we find out what caused this." Uzi explained.

"Но почему- (But why-)"

"Because you're growing as a person." N said, landing before them with a soft smile. "You're becoming more than just a person that craves vengeance."

"Took you long enough." V said, crossing her arms.

"Yeah, sorry... I found something." N said, putting a hand on his chest. "The point is Doll, is that yours becoming more of a person. Don't be afraid of it, be proud of it."

Doll still didn't say anything.

'Я думал, что после смерти моих родителей я поклялся никогда больше не чувствовать себя... но даже в этом случае я не смог сдержать это обещание. (I thought, after my parents' death, I vowed to never feel again...but even so, I couldn't keep that promise)' Doll thought before Uzi held her hand out to her.

"I know it's hard to change...but we can change together." Uzi said with a soft smile.

Doll looked at Uzi's hand, before grabbing it. Allowing Uzi to pull to her feet before she gazed at her wings, wondering how it pull them in like Uzi, N, and V.

"If you're wondering what to do, think of it like putting on a shirt if that helps." Uzi explained, guessing Doll's thoughts.

Doll attempted to, and with some effort, they were pulled into her body.

"I'm...not entirely sure about that one, sorry." Uzi said with a nervous chuckle.

"OW!" Doll shouted in pain, turning around to see V holding her now cut off tail.

"There. Problem solved." V said, holding up the tail mouth.

"Um, I'm not sure that will work, because she has regenerated parts of her body during our fight. She could just regenerate that." Uzi said.

"Then she'll either have to tuck it in her dress or I'll just used a flaming sword next time." V said before taking a bite of the tail mouth. "Mmm! This is pretty good."

Uzi walked over and snatched it from V before elbowing her in the side.

"Don't do that, it's just weird." Uzi said, before looking at the tail.

Her stomach seemed to "rumble" at the sight of it before Uzi took a bite of the tail without thinking.

"Oh, that actually is really good." Uzi said in surprise.

Doll had a blank look on her face, but it was clear that she was done with this whole thing.

"Я хотел бы пойти домой сейчас. (I would like to go home now.)" Doll said to them.

N looked at the horizon and could see the sky slowly turning from dark blue to light orange, showing that the sun was slowly coming up.

"I think that's best for everyone. It's been a REALLY long night." N said with a nod. "Let's head back to camp."

"You guys fly back, I'm going to walk back with Doll." Uzi said, quickly eating the rest of the tail.

"You sure? Cuz, the sun can actually kill you both now." V said to Uzi and Doll, assuming her pseudo-dissasembly drone transformation also came with the overheating weakness.

"I'll be fine. Just go." Uzi said before she grabbed Doll's hand and pulled her away. "We'll see you at the bus."

Glancing at each ofher, N and V shrugged before they took off flying towards the camp. The two remainjng started walking to the camp in silence, before Uzi started making light conversations.

"... Well now we can take flying lessons together." She said.

And when she tried to let go, Doll's hand shook a bit before she firmed her grip on Uzi's hand to keep it in her own.

'She's still shaken from everything, so it makes sense. Yeah, that's it.' Uzi thought, looking away with a small blush as Doll moved a bit closer to her.

"Узи. (Uzi.)" Doll said.

"Yes?" Uzi asked her.

"Спасибо... за то, что не отказывался от меня. (Thank you...for not giving up on me.)" Doll said, looking away.

"...You're welcome and lime it said, everything will be okay. We'll find out what this is, and how to stop it... I promise." Uzi said with a small smile.

"...Хорошо. Я доверяю тебе. (Okay. I trust you.)" Doll said with a smile and a hopeful tone.

"Good." Uzi said before she changed the subject. "Now, back to what you said before. What the fuck did you mean when you said my legs looked nice?"

Hearing this again, Doll tried to pull her hand away to use her solver but Uzi's grip became ironclad and she used her own solver to keep Doll close.

"Nope. You're answering my question NOW.' Uzi said, her right eye showing the solver symbol.

Doll refused to open her mouth.

'Боже, почему ты так со мной поступаешь? (God, why are you doing this to me?)' She thought with a blush.

Back at Camp 98.7, N and V were loading up the remaining students into the bus while having a private conversation.

"What did you find that's got you so shaken up?" V asked, knowing the signs of N being rattled.

"This weird tape, and when I touched it... I think it unlocked a memory." N said, pulling the tape out of his short. "I saw small flashes of... something."

"Flashes of what?" V asked, suddenly becoming nervous and worried. "N, what did you see exactly?"

"I saw something or SOMEONE that I feel like I know....but feel like I never should've met." N said, putting the tape back in his shirt and holding his shaking right hand.

'Hes starting to remember.' V thought, worried about N.

"Look, let's wait until Uzi gets back and then we can figure this out." V said, grabbing his hand and forcing it down to his side. "I think we could use a break after this."

'Especially if you're remembering what THAT day.' V thought with her foot dragging around the snow.

"Okay, that's everyone minus 4." The teacher said, looking over a clipboard. "Where are they?"

"Well, Uzi and Doll are on their way, and the other two..." V paused as she looked over and saw Doll and Uzi walking through the tree line, giving the teacher a grin. "They got on my nerves. Plus, they were delicious."

The teacher blinked before looking at N, who quickly nodded with a tiny shrug.

"Sorry about her?" He said.

"...I'll just handle the paperwork later." The teacher said before walking into the bus.

N looked at V, smiling.

"That was nice of you to do." N said.

"Yeah, well... U would've been mad if her little friend got in trouble for killing people." V said, looking away with crossed arms.

'Even though Doll probably still wants to kill me.' V thought as N pulled her into a hug.

"Looks like Doll isn't the only one becoming a better person." N said with a proud grin.

"... Let go of me." V said, blushing a bit.

"...NOPE. The hug continues." N said without fear.

Normally, V would've threatened to shoot him or just knocked him away, but now... it just felt right.

V didn't even know she was hugging him back as N blushed from this.

'YES! This is a dream come true!' N thought with a wide smile.

By the time Uzi and Doll arrive, they see N and V still hugging. N quickly texted on his eyes to them.

'Shhhh. Get on the bus.' He texted to them.

Uzi and Doll just gave him a thumbs up before moving into the bus, letting N have his moment.

"Okay, enough of this, we have to get going." V said, hearing Uzi and Doll's footsteps.

N relented as he pulled back, entering the bus with B as he looked over everyone inside.

"Alright, that's everyone. Let's go!" N said as the bus driver grabbed the reigns.

He glanced at the back of the bus and saw Uzi with her tail wrapped around Doll in a comforting manner.

'Way to go, sis!' N thought with a smile.

Both of them looked like they were sleeping, leaning against each other as a ray of sunshine came through their window, right on Doll's hand.

"Mmm, nh!" Doll groaned, feeling her hand being burned by the sun.

Feeling Doll trnembling near her and somehow sensing her discomfort, Uzi quickly unfolded one wing and covered the window with it. Allowing Doll to sigh in relief as she moved closer to Uzi for warmth, smiling softly.

Things were changing, and they would figure it out later... right now, they needed enjoy the moment of peace and rest.
