Noelle POV

   The sleigh lands in the middle of nowhere with ice and snow covering everything. I pull Charlie closer to me and wrap the blanket around us. Scott stands up with an angry face and looks around. "Is this okay dad?" Charlie asks. I kiss his head and he moves into my lap. Scott curses under his breath and shivers. "No it's not okay!" He shouts. I slap him on the head and he mumbles 'sorry'. Then he turns to the reindeer and shouts "hey does this look like home to you guys?" The reindeer just nod their heads and look at each other, like they know something's about to happen. Then they take off, the reins slip from Scott's hands and he almost tumbles over.

     I help steady him and he stands back up "hey, hey! Where are you guys going? Come back here!" The reindeer just ignore him and disappear in the snow. Scott looks around a bit as the snow piles up around us. Charlie starts to shiver and Scott notices. So he sits down beside us, pulling the two of us close and wraps his arms around me. "Are you both okay?" He whispers. I shake my head yes before the crunching of snow catches my attention. A small child, no more than Charlie's age, walks out with a smile on his face. He has thick clothes on and a huge hat that barely covers his bright orange hair.

   Scoot stands up with a slight smile "hey! Hey buddy! You sir! Hey!" He keeps shouting at the child but he ignores him. The kid takes his gloves off and rubs his hands together to warm them up. Then he looks up to Charlie and I, smiling, before he presses something on the ground with his hand. "Can you freaking hear me?!" Scott yells. I stifle a giggle at his anger, I mean what does he expect? "I don't think you're getting an answer so you might just want to chill out" I mumble but as soon as the words left my mouth, a blue puff of smoke appears. In its wake is a large cloud, hovering over Scott, that pours more snow on him.

   Charlie and I let out a giggle "I'm sorry honey. I'm not sure what's going on." He just grumbles something under his breath and I try to focus on the cloud going away. And with another puff of blue, the cloud is gone. "Cool" Charlie whispers, his eyes wide with joy. Just then a large pole starts to come from the ground. The small child just smirks at our awe struck faces. The pole is silver on the top with colorful lights while the bottom part looks like a giant candy cane. Scott leans over and whispers "what's that?" I just shrug my shoulders but Charlie smiles. "I think it's the North Pole momma" he whispers. Scott rolls his eyes "that's the North Pole?!" I smack his head again, glaring at him. He throws his hands up and mumbles "sorry" to Charlie.

    Once the pole is completely up, the child places his hand on it, making a keypad pop out and then types something in it. The keypad retracts after he's done and he pulls his gloves on. The kid smirks at us before the sleigh starts moving. Charlie curls into me as Scott holds on to both of us. We begin to descend slowly downward and I wave at the child before he disappears out of sight. My jaw drops as we finally land, surrounding us is a large group of children but upon closer inspection, they have pointed ears. Elves? The reindeer that ran off earlier, are each in a stable with more people taking care of them. There is light Christmas music playing in the background and whispers while pointing in our direction. "Where are all the grown ups?" Scott whispers.

   Charlie has a wide smile as he takes in everything "this is so cool momma! Do you see?!" His little hands wrap around my arm, already trying to drag me away. "Hold on Charlie, I'm not sure where we are at so let's take things slow" I smile down at him and he nods before hugging me quickly. Scott pats my leg "stay here" and gets up, approaching one of the children or elves. "Hey kid, who's in charge here?" He asks a small blonde boy. "You are! And I'm not a kid. I've got pointy shoes that are older than you! I'm an elf" he announces proudly before walking off. I let out a giggle, looking at Charlie "you here that bubs? These are elves!" His eyes widen even more and he basically vibrates with excitement.

   Scott shakes his head and approaches another elf "hey you guys or girls, who gives the orders around here? Who's your boss?" The elf just smiles and shakes her head "you are!" Scott rakes a hand through his hair with a sigh. "No! No, no way. Wait! Who's the head elf around here?" Scott asks with a smirk, assuming he finally is going to get an answer. "You are" she says with a small smile. Another elf, this one bigger than most, approaches them with a sour look. He has dark black curls and a matching black hat that sits perfectly atop his head. "Hey! Who's causing all the trouble around here?" He asks. Scott and the girl elf look at each other before answering "he is" and "she is." The older elf sighs with an eye roll before motioning to the girl to leave.

   Scott looks at the boy "are you the head elf?" The kid shakes his head "no. I'm Bernard. Nice to meet you Santa!" He then turns around to us and waves with a smile "hello Mrs. Clause and baby Clause!" Charlie and I both smile before waving back. "Did you hear that? We might have to change our names bub. We are the Clause's now!" Charlie smiles and looks back over to Scott "did you hear that dad? We have to change our names!" Scott just shakes his head no, making Charlie pout. Bernard begins to leave and Scott follows "wait! I'm not Santa! And you know, I've had a rough night. Plus my wife is doing this weird magic thing-" Bernard suddenly spins back around with a smile, cutting Scott off "a magic thing you say?"

  Scott backs up a bit "you know you're kinda scaring me with that smile but yeah. She made it snow on me and Charlie mentioned something about carrots for the reindeer.." Bernard smiles "the other Santa disappeared right?" Scott shakes his head yes. Bernard gives him a pointed look before he walks off again with Scott following in the oversized Santa suit. "Wait a minute. Hey! I know where this is going and it wasn't my fault that the other guy fell. It was an accident!" Scott yells. Scott and Bernard disappear from view, leaving Charlie and I alone. I glance down at him and shrug. "Let's go dude. Wanna walk?" I ask him. He shakes his head no and I lift him up, sitting him on my hip then follow after Scott.

  The hallways are large and decorated with candy cane strips. The ceiling is all stained glass and you can see the snow falling around us. Bernard and Scott stop in front of a set of large doors as we catch up to them. "How did you know the other guy was gone?" Scott asks. Bernard just gives him a blank face "can I get you a drink?" Scott narrows his eyes "no! I don't want a drink!" Charlie pipes up, cutting the obvious tension "I'm thirsty! And hungry too!"

   I shake my head "well love there's no McDonald's around here." Bernard and Charlie laugh as Scott stews in the corner."I thought I told you two to stay in the sleigh" he mumbles. I throw him a sharp glare and he looks to his feet. Bernard chuckles before speaking up "let me guess.. you're Charlie and Noelle. Or the Clause's right?" Charlie shakes his head yes "this is my momma and dad. My other mom and Neil live somewhere else."

   I look at Scott as his face turns into a frown. No matter how long it's been, Laura is always a sore subject. Bernard, picking up on the tension, grabs my hand and bows. "Nice to meet you, your majesties!" He mutters with a smile, making Charlie let out a string of giggles. "Nice to meet you Bernard!" I say. He smiles back at me before looking at Charlie. "Hey you know what? I have something for you. Just hold out your hands alright?" Charlie opens his hands and outstretches them to the elf.

   Bernard hands over a beautiful snow globe to Charlie "now be careful. This is old, just like me. But not like your momma" he says with a wink. Scott rolls his eyes and throws his arms around me. "Jealous much?" I whisper in his ear. He mumbles something about not being jealous over a child but still pouts beside me.

    Charlie gently shakes the snow globe and the coolest thing happens. Santa's sleigh comes driving through but with Scott, Charlie, and I in it. Charlie's eyes widen and he grins up at Bernard. "Wow" Charlie whispers before trying to give it back. "No, why don't you hold onto it for me for a while? It might come in handy" Bernard asks. Charlie shakes his head yes and shoves the snow globe in my face. "Look momma! Isn't this cool!" I shake my head yes and place a kiss on his cheek "make sure to thank Bernard sweetheart." Charlie nods before getting down and wrapping his arms around Bernard "thank you! I promise to take good care of it!" Bernard smiles "I'm sure you will!"

   Scott steps up "hey Berabbas-" Bernard cuts him off with a glare and shouts "Bernard! It's Bernard!" I stifle a giggle and smack Scott's shoulder "be nice!" He rolls his eyes and turns back to the elf. "Can we take a direct flight back to reality or do we have to change planes in Denver? Because this coma dream is beginning to be a bit much" Scott asks. My jaw drops and I smack him again "Bernard sweetie, I'm so sorry. He's just an ass sometimes" I reply as Charlie yells "bad word! Bad word!"

    I smile down at him "sorry Char but your daddy is being mean." Bernard smiles and grabs a nearby elf "please take Charlie to get some food and a warm blanket." The small elf grabs Charlie and quickly tugs him with him. My hand immediately snatches Charlie backwards and I narrow my eyes "I don't know anyone here so if you think I'm letting my son out of my sight, you're wrong."

     The two elves eyes widen and they step back. Unknown to me, my eyes started glowing a light blue. Scott steps over and gently grabs my hands "hey calm down babe. You go with Charlie and I'll deal with Bernard." I look between the two of them before releasing a sigh and giving in. "Fine but you two better behave and I'm talking to you Scott" I say, giving them both 'the mom' look. Bernard smiles and shakes his head "yes mam." Scott just mumbles "fine" before placing a kiss on mine and Charlie's foreheads. "See you later!" Charlie yells, taking off and dragging me with him.

     We follow the winding halls down to a large kitchen. My eyes take in the stained glass, candy cane decor, and large ovens. A small elf with long brown hair and a fairy hat approaches us with a smile. "Oh! Mrs. Clause and baby Clause! I've been expecting you" she says before handing us two large mugs of hot chocolate and a plate of cookies. "Do you have-" I'm cut off by her handing me a plate of carrots as well.

  I smile "thank you! Do you mind if I ask you a question?" The elf smiles at me "of course not. My name is Judy by the way!" I nod "thank you Judy. Did the other Mrs. Clause's have magic?" Her eyes widen and she shakes her head no. "You're finally here! Oh the other elves are going to be beside themselves! Oh, excuse me!" She squeals before leaving. "Okay.." I mumble.

    I look down at Charlie and he has hot chocolate on his lip. I take a drink of my own and I'm pleasantly surprised by the taste. "This is really good huh bud?" I ask, taking a bite of the carrots. He just nods, sucking down his cocoa before Judy returns with a large metal plate. "Here let me put all of your stuff on this tray." We just pass our things to her before she places them neatly on the tray and adds a third mug. Then she places a large pot of cocoa beside the mugs.

   She walks over to a small train that I had assumed was only for decoration but instead she sets everything in a slotted seat in the front car then sits behind it. "Come on guys, pick a car!" She says with a giggle. Charlie picks a deep blue car with stuffed animals inside of it. I pick the one behind his, a dark green one with warm blankets stacked in it. Ah fluffy blankets are the best. I snuggle into my seat as the train takes off. "This is so cool!" Charlie yells and I smile at him. The train continues on, passing rooms until we hit a giant one. It has toys, tools, wrapping papers, boxes, elves, and so much more. "It's Santa's workshop momma!" He yells before the train stops beside Scott. Judy looks at him with a smile and Scott just looks annoyed. "Judy, right?" Scott asks.

   "Santa?" She asks with a smirk. He shakes his head no "Scott Calvin and my wife Noelle and our son Charlie!" She shrugs "I've met Mrs. Clause and baby Clause. Very sweet. Now follow me" she says in a clipped tone. Scott tries to get in the train but it moves before he can so he walks beside it. "I'll catch the next train I guess.." he grumbles. "Cmon dad!" Charlie yells and Scott runs down the hall beside us. We go down a a few hallways before stopping beside a large set of doors. We get off the train and Judy opens the bottom half of the door for Charlie and her. I bend down and just go through the smaller stained glass door. "Woah" I mumble. The room is covered in toys, with a working mini train and hand puppets that actively talk. There is a large red bed beside a warm fireplace with the letters SC & NC written above both.

  Scott smacks his head against the small door before opening the large door. I hide my laugh as he cusses at the door and rubs his forehead. "Do you need anything? The kitchens always open" Judy asks Scott. "How about a stiff drink?" He mumbles. Charlie plops down on the bed with a yawn and I sit next to him. "Hey Judy, do you have any pajamas for Charlie?" I ask politely. She smiles and nods to the stack of red clothing at the bottom of the bed. "There's one for each of you! And they all match" she says with a smile. I pick the clothing up and Charlie, then go to the connected bathroom. It's large with a huge tub and stand up shower. Everything is done in candy canes and stained glass, matching the rest of the place. I pick up the pajamas, sliding mine on them helping Charlie with his.

   We pile back into the bed after I set our clothes on the side table. Charlie almost immediately falls asleep after I tuck him in, while Scott tries to change in front of the puppets. They shriek in terror as he slides his pants down, revealing his boxers and I have to hide my giggles. Scott slides in behind me and wraps his arms around me. He kisses my cheek and lets out a sigh. "I love you Ellie. I hope I wake up from this coma dream soon" he whispers before light snores leave his mouth. I relax as Charlie cuddles into my chest and Scott snuggles into my back. This. This is all I need in life. I gently close my eyes, letting sleep take over me, hoping this wasn't all just a coma dream. Because I finally found it,
