I've seen a lot of strange things one thing I'm in another universe right now where it looks like steampunk really took off... But it's not just that I've seen someone literally tear someone down to Atom and they got reassembled I've seen creatures like zombie soldiers try to kill my idol

But never never have I ever seen something so brutal than that... Thing that just tried to kill us and has now left me permanently scarred

And it turns out that thing is my new friend Dad and that's the only reason why we're walking out of the prison that has now turned into a slaughterhouse

We met up with Savi and Isha who gave us a hug again happy to see us and I was happy to see her but I was still badly hurt. Jinx was wrapping up my wounds with the help of Isha

The fourth member of our little gang would've stuck around, but she said she had other things to do like rallying the under city back together

Which left the three of us alone allowing me to ask the question : so that... Creature you really think it was your dad?

Jinx : listen I know that sounds crazy... Even for me but it just has to be him he knew my name... My real name and the way he looked it was Vander

She tightened up the bandages: you say that he's your dad but you used his name

She elaborate: well he's not exactly my dad. He took me and my sister in after our parents... Well you know but he's a good person I thought he was dead but I guess I was wrong whatever's happened to him it's changed him.

I'll say he tore through the entire prison without a second thought he was like a rampaging animal
He thought similar to how the nomu do when they're not giving pacific orders: I wish I could say that what you're saying does sound crazy, but I've seen something like this before

I riddle from the pain because she's put the bandage on a bit too tight: it's complicated. The guy I told you about the self proclaimed Demon Lord, he had minions that he called nomu they were like bio engineered soldiers made from human corpses. They had no will of their own except... For the high ends they could speak talk they could even strategise

Jinx: do you think that this big bad guy could've turned my dad into... That thing?

It's definitely something he would do and I wouldn't put it past him, but we haven't been here for very long more to the point. I was under the impression that his right hand man was responsible for creating those abominations and unless I'm mistaken, he still locked up.

So regretfully, I have to shake my head: no he's not which is actually bad if someone's capable of doing something like this here with this kind of technology and if all one gets his hands on this person

Jinx: there's no telling what he could do... Fuck you're right I need to get Isha out of here, but I'm not leaving Vander is there any chance... Literally one percent chance that we could get through to him? I mean he recognised me surely that must mean something

I think about it for a moment it's not impossible. I did hear about the warp gate villain being nomu as well as a close friend to present Mike and eraser head and they managed to get through to him if only for a second

So I guess it's possible: it's possible but... It will come with its risk. It seems like Vander is not in control of himself whatever it's happened to him it's like he's a fusion between man and animal and right now it looks like the animal side is winning we need something that can wake him up because no offence jinx but I don't think you are enough. Is there anyone else anyone at all that could connect with Vander?

She looks away avoiding my eye contact: there is someone... But we're not exactly on the best terms... I mean I don't really blame her. I did sort of kinda kill her girlfriend's mother... Plus terrorised both of them when they tried to come and get me also I might be the cause of the break up... and there's another small detail. She'll never believe that Vander is alive, especially if it's coming from my mouth.

Okay, that is pretty bad: is there anyone else?

She wants again thinks about it and her usual goofy way hiding how she feels on the inside: there is but again not on the Best terms in the last I heard he kind of disappeared... No idea where he is so I think my only option is my sister

Oh God the sister yeah jinx told me about her well roughly about there... Falling out so let's just leave it at that: I get that things between you and your sister are well "tense" doesn't exactly describe it but honestly, she might be the best. Hope you have if not Vander may continue to be a wild animal.

Jinx: I know I know I just... What if we can't get to him? What if even if me and my sister team up again and we still can't get him to wake up be like losing him all over again and she'll blame me just as she blamed me the first time I don't know if I can go through that again.

Isha came up to jinx and held her hand getting a small smile from her. I can understand why she's hesitant: look I understand not exactly but I do know families that have a lot more issues than yours... But right now I see a chance to fix what has been broken between the two of you maybe it won't fix it entirely but you gotta give her the chance after all vendors her father too don't you think she would want to know that there was even a small chance of getting him back?

Jinx:... You're right God you're really good at the encouragement thing you should be a motivational speaker thanks for this. I appreciate it and for you to help me get this little monkey out but this has got nothing to do with you. It's a family matter you don't have to come with us if you don't want I don't have to go find your big bad guy.

I should and I really want to and I'm pretty sure the past users do to but: well like a wise man once told me meddling where you don't really need to is the very essence of being hero besides I can't let you go after Vander especially with things the way they are between you and your sister

I chuckle back: I get that a lot... so where can we find your sister? Do you even know where she is?

Jinx: I don't exactly know where she is but... I have a pretty good idea she's a creature of habit and her habit is that when she's upset she likes to punch things... And I know the perfect place for her to let off steam
