I can't believe David is gone... and so is Rebecca... this is all my fault! If I hadn't... If I hadn't acted so selfishly and idiotic then David...

Falco: Lucy! Open up!

I heard banging by the door as I went to check who it is. To my surprise it was Falco as he look like he seen a ghost.

Lucy: Wha... Falco? What with all the banging? And why-

Falco: No, time! Come with me quick!

He grab my hand as takes me to his car, pushing me in before getting in himself and getting behind the driver seat.

Lucy: Falco!? What the hell! Why did you drag me out from my apartment! What's going on?

Falco: Trust me, Lucy! You won't believe if I tell you to be honest.

Lucy: What does that mean?

Falco: Just wait until we get there you'll see what I mean sooner.

Falco began driving off in top speed as I sat there confuse.

Lucy: *thought* Does this have something to do with David and Arasaka but if it then... I didn't finish my sentence as Falco told me we arrived.

Falco: We're here.

Lucy: Afterlife?

Later...

Falco drove me to Afterlife which made me more confused than before.

Getting out of his car, we both make our way inside as Rogue spotted us.

Rogue: You two are finally here.

Falco: Yeah, are they still here?

Rogue: They're waiting for you in back. I still can't believe they're alive especially that kid with them being the one responsible for it.

Falco: I still find hard to believe myself either.

Lucy: What are two talking about? Can someone tell what the hell going on?

Rogue: You haven't told her?

Falco: No, I thought it be better if she saw them herself.

Rogue: Make sense. Anyway go on ahead before I start charging you for the room.

Falco: Right... follow me, Lucy.

Lucy: Ok...

I follow Falco toward the back of the room as I think to myself about what those two were talking about.

Lucy: *thought* What does she mean they're waiting for us. Who is "us"? And what this about a kid?

We stop at the front door as Falco put his hand on the handle before looking at me.

Falco: We're here, Lucy but I should warn you. You're going in for a surprise.

Opening the door for me and letting it swing open. My eyes widen in surprise as I couldn't believe my own eyes.

Lucy: David...

David: Hey, Lucy...

3rd P.O.V.

Standing in front of Lucy was none other than David and Rebecca while Y/n is sitting by the corner.

Lucy: You're a-alive...

David: Back to the land of living...

Unable to contain her tears, she rush toward David jumping into his arms as they embraced each other.

Lucy: I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean for any of this happen! I didn't mean for you get yourself killed!

David: No, I'm the one who should be apologizing... I shouldn't have acted recklessly when adding too many implants. I should have stopped when the medicine stop working.

Lucy: I'm just so glad you're alive!

Rebecca: Hey, what about me!

Rebecca jump between them as she got upset of being left out.

Lucy: Rebecca, you're alive?! How?

Rebecca: You can ask Mr. Dark & Handsome over~

Lucy turn to see Y/n sitting by the couch as he just wave at her.

Y/n: Hello!

Lucy: Who are you?

Y/n: Y/n L/n, nice to meet you, Lucy.

Lucy was shocked that he knew her name.

Lucy: How do know my name?!

Y/n: Oh yeah, forgot about that...

Lyla pop up.

Lyla: You really need to wait until saying their name.

Lucy: Is that a fucking A.I.!?

Y/n: You were saying?

Lyla: No comment.

David saw that Lucy is starting to freak out as she tries to pull out her wire from her hand but stops her.

David: No, no, no, wait! Stop! Lucy, he's not a threat!

Lucy: What makes you say that?! He could be working with Arasaka for all I care!

David: You don't understand! Y/n, here saved me and Rebecca! And he killed Adam Smasher!

Lucy: What...

Rebecca: You heard, David! It's the truth! I didn't believe it at first but when I saw that bastard corpse on the floor smashed and bloodied. I believe him! Along with turning into some weird thing...

Falco: Now, I feel like you're making that up.

Y/n: No, she telling the truth.

Everyone turn their attention back to Y/n.

Y/n: I'm the one who kill Adam Smasher. I got the proof to show it. He said, pulling the device from his pocket he acquired from Adam Smasher corpse.

Lucy: What am I looking at?

Y/n: Is a chip that was implanted in that psycho. It was the reason he was able to control all of his cyberware implants.

Falco: That could be anything! You got anything better?

Y/n: Oh boy... I guess it time to pull out the big guns.

Lucy: Wait-

David and Rebecca move out of the way while grabbing Lucy as Falco gets grabbed by a giant robotic arm that sprouted from Y/n catching Lucy, Rebecca, and Falco by surprise.

Falco: W-What the hell?!

Rebecca: Woah! Hahahaha!!!!

Lucy: What the?! I didn't detect any cyberware being activated from him!

Y/n: Is because it not cyberware... it called nanites. It really cool to be honest as long you don't turn into a random monster from it.

Y/n put Falco down deactivating his power as Falco back away in panic. Rebecca jumps at Y/n getting up close to his face.

Rebecca: How did you to that?! Where did you get it!? That was so cool!

Lyla reappeared at Y/n shoulder whispering to him.

Lyla: Someone seems excited~

Y/n: I can already see that.

David then walk up to speak with Y/n.

David: Hey, Y/n... thanks and all for the save back there. But who are you exactly?

Y/n pick up Rebecca then set her down on his lap making her blush as he speak to David.

Y/n: You already know my name so you should at least know WHO I am. You can say... I'm a multiverse traveler.

Everyone eyes widen shock but was hesitant to believe it.

David: Multiverse... traveler...

Lucy: You have to be joking...

Y/n: I'm not.

Falco: How can that be true?

Y/n: Did you not see the giant robot arm I've showed you. You can't find that in this universe.

Rebecca: So, wait... are you some kind of space cop?

Y/n: If space cop you mean being stickler to the rules or corrupt then no. I'm more of a person traveling across the universe changing canon events.

David: Canon events?

Y/n: Yeah... and your canon event was that you and Rebecca was supposed to die back there with Adam Smasher winning.

David/Rebecca: What?!

Lucy: Hold on! Are you saying David and Rebecca were destined to die back there.

Y/n: Yeah, originally David was supposed to die by getting his head blown up and Rebecca dying from Adam Smasher crushing her during that jump.

David and Rebecca felt their heart skip a beat when hearing their canon death.

David: Goddamn, that was close...

Rebecca hugs Y/n while at the same time giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Rebecca: Thanks for the save Choom!

Lucy: I can't believe it... all I can say is... thank you.

Y/n: Don't mention it, Lucy. Do be honest I never liked how it ended. It was too sad seeing David go through all that after losing his mother. And seeing Rebecca die... the best girl in cyberpunk.... Hell no! Wasn't going to let that happen!

This made Rebecca smile and blush more as Lucy was confuse and a bit irritated.

Lucy: *thought* Best girl?

Y/n: Anyway...

Y/n pick up Rebecca and putting her down on the couch much to her displeasure.

Y/n: I have to go back to base.

David: Back to base? You mean your headquarters or something.

Y/n: More like my house where me and my girlfriends live.

Rebecca: Girlfriends?!

Lucy: How are you supposed to get back?

Y/n: With this.

He said, presenting them a device on his wrist.

Falco: Some kind of wrist watch?

Y/n: Not any wrist watch... a multiverse device. It the thing that help me travel across the multiverse along with preventing me from glitching out.

Lucy: Glitching out...

Y/n: That reason is that I'm not suppose to be in this universe since it's not my designated place. So, my body will start glitching out until I die and this device prevent me from glitching.

David: I get it... it just like the medicine I take for my implants.

Y/n: Correct! So, without this watch, I'm basically have at least a week or so before disappearing from existence.

Y/n tap on the device as a portal open on in front of them.

Y/n: Now that my job here is done. I have to go home, now. See you next time if I have the chance.

Y/n was about to step through the portal.

Rebecca: Hold on!

Rebecca walk up to Y/n.

Rebecca: I want to go with you!

This surprised everyone.

David: Are you serious, Rebecca?

Rebecca: Well yeah! What am I supposed to do? Wait until the next chrome person to come up and kill me. No thanks! Besides...

Rebecca hugs Y/n's arm.

Rebecca: I want to get to know this bad boy more~!

The three look at her for a moment before sighing.

Lucy: There's no arguing with her.

Falco: Once she made up her mind. She be too stubborn to change it.

David: Just promise to be careful while you're with this guy.

Rebecca: Are you kidding me? He should be the one careful around me! I'm going to rock his world! Hahaha!

Y/n: Can't deny that.

Y/n stretch out his hand to David as he shake it.

Y/n: It was nice meeting you, David Martinez.

David: Same here. Thanks for saving my life and bringing me back to Lucy. Know I owe you my life for this so if you need any help just give me a call.

Y/n: You got it!

Lucy: Take care, Rebecca.

Rebecca: Pfft! Don't worry about me. Just look after David this time. And properly I mean, don't leave his side like that again.

Lucy: I understand, I almost lost him once. I'm not doing that again.

After they said their goodbyes, Y/n and Rebecca go through the portal together as it closes behind them. After a few seconds, they made it to the other side as they made back home.

Y/n: It good to back!

Rebecca: Holy shit!

Rebecca was amazed by the scenery unable to believe what she's seeing.

Y/n: Follow me, Rebecca. It's time I show you around.

Rebecca: Right behind you, handsome~!

Rebecca follow after Y/n as they make their way to his house.
