Cyberpunk Edgerunner universe....

After an intense heist job gone wrong, David and his crews manage to save Lucy from Arasaka after Faraday double cross them. However, it all went south the minute Arasaka call upon the help of Adam Smasher. David tried his best to fight off Adam Smasher while at the same time dealing with cyberpsychosis. But at the end... David was no match for him as he's seen laying on the floor all broken and bloodied.

David: *pant* *pant* *pant*

Adam Smasher looks at David bleeding body seeing him gasping for air before laughing hysterically to himself.

David: Hahahahaha....

Adam: I had some fun after all. You know you can prove to be an interesting construct.

David look at Adam Smasher as he smirk to himself.

David: Whatever choom... like I give a shit...

Adam: Oh, well...

Adam Smasher points his gun at David head as he prepares to kill him. David think to himself for a moment before meeting his demise.

David: *thought* Welp, this is the end of the line for me.... had a good run while it lasted... but at least I managed to save Lucy at the end... I'm sorry Rebecca... I'm sorry mom... I'm sorry everyone... I guess I wasn't that special after all to begin with...

Adam: Goodbye- Ah!

Before he could pull the trigger, he was shot in the back causing him to loose his balance and misfire, missing David's head completely.

Adam: WHO DARES TO SHOOT ME WHILE I SAVOR MY KILL!?!?

???: For someone who cover there whole body full of cybernetics. You think he still have some awareness or at least an implant that tells him someone was behind him. Isn't that right, Lyla?

Lyla: I know right? He supposed to be this big time hotshot that everyone in the Night city supposed to be afraid. And yet... he can easily be surprised attack from behind! LOL!!!

Adam: Show yourself!!! So, I can kill you where you stand!

???: If that what you want? I don't mind, hahaha!

Hearing footsteps coming from the shadows, the mysterious person steps out to present himself as pull up his hood a bit.

???: Hello... the name is Y/n. Y/n L/n at your service.

David: What... the... *thought* He's just a kid?

Adam: Who do you think you are to disturb my kill! I'll have your mask mounted on my wall!

Y/n: Woah! Someone sound mad? Have those cybernetics keeping you up all night.

Then a hologram pop up beside Y/n shoulder.

Lyla: I believe so Y/n! I mean why else would he look like some rip off version of Iron man from the Darkhold.

David: An... A.I...

Adam: Who do you think you are to mock me?!

Y/n: I don't know?

Y/n then look at the corner of his eyes as he spots Rebecca body on floor looking all messed up.

Y/n: Rebecca...

Lyla: Oh, dear...

Y/n: Lyla check to see if she still has a pulse.

Lyla: On it!

Adam: Don't ignore- Ack!

Adam Smasher was shot again by Y/n, only this time his whole arm was blown away with it as he fall to his knees clutching his wound.

Y/n: Shut the hell up.

David was surprised that someone manage to hurt Adam Smasher.

David: He... shot him twice... and manage to hurt him... who is he?

Lyla: Y/n, I got a pulse! It's weak but she's alive at most. She need medical attention quick before she flatlines!

Y/n: Understood! But first...

Y/n points his gun again at Adam Smasher.

Y/n: Time to end this crazy bastard.

Adam: You think... you can kill me! You only mange to catch me off guard! The minute you fire that gun, I'll have your head tear clean off before you know it!

Y/n: ......You're right.

Y/n lowers his gun as Adam Smasher laugh at his defeat.

Adam: Hahahahaha!!!

Y/n: Shooting you will be too easy....

Adam: Hahahaha- huh?

Y/n: Smashing you... will be the perfect fitting death with a name like that!!!

Y/n slam both his fist together as we zoom in to his body seeing small spherical machine as they start glowing.

Zooming out as Y/n create two large robotic arms surprising both David and Adam Smasher.

David: W-What the hell?! I didn't even see an ounce of cybernetic on him!

Adam: Who are you?! Where did you get that type of tech!

Y/n: You don't need to worry, Adam Smasher! Because you won't be alive to find out!

Jumping up in the air, Y/n raise both fist up in the air as he proceed slam both fist to the ground at Adam Smasher. Crushing him before proceeding to pulverize him until there was nothing left of him but scraps.

David: H-He... killed him... He killed fucking Adam Smasher...

David was stunned by the sight before Y/n looked at him.

Y/n: Hey, David... are you alright?

David: I-I... wha...

Y/n: Just hold on a little longer. Just let help Rebecca then I'll help you. Then I can take you both to Falco and Lucy.

David: *thought* W-Wait, how the hell those he know mine, Rebecca, Falco, and Lucy name.

After discarding his robotic fist, Y/n then rush over to Rebecca body as he look closer at the state she's in.

Y/n: Hold on, Rebecca! I'll get you all fix up.

Looking down at his belt, there was a familiar device that has a dial in the middle.

Touching and rotating the dial, Y/n proceed to choose an alien before slamming down his hand and becoming that chosen alien.

Y/n: I hope Malware DNA can help me fix Rebecca.

Jumping inside Rebecca body, Y/n started fixing her both from the inside and out until he managed to fix everything before coming out making Rebecca look good as new.

Rebecca: Ugh... what happened...

Y/n: Hey, Rebecca! Welcome back to the living!

Rebecca: Aaaaaahhhhh!!!!

Rebecca freaked out after seeing Y/n in his alien form.

Y/n: Nonono, wait! Calm down!

Rebecca: What the fuck are you?! How am I alive?!

Y/n: I fixed you, Rebecca. You were close to flatlining that I had heal you quick.

Rebecca: Fixed me? That bullshit, no one can fix someone that quick!

David: Re-Rebecca...

Rebecca turn to her side as her eyes widen in horror seeing David on the ground and bloodied.

Rebecca: David!?

She rush toward David as she saw him all messed up.

Rebecca: What the fuck happened to you!? Why are you all bloody and broken! Did that bastard, Adam Smasher to this you! Wait until I get my hand-

David: He's dead...

Rebecca: What?

David: Adam Smasher is dead... Just look...

David directed his eyes for Rebecca to follow and see the remains of Adam Smasher.

Rebecca: Did you do that?

David: N-No... It was him...

Rebecca look back at Y/n who wave his hand at them.

Rebecca: Him? Are you kidding me?

David: Trust me... he didn't look like that before...

Y/n started walking over to them as Rebecca became defensive.

Rebecca: Hey, not another step closer!

Y/n: Easy, Rebecca... I'm not going to hurt anyone. I'm just going to fix David and remove his some his cybernetics to stop his cyberpshycosis before it get any worse.

Rebecca was a bit hesitant but looking back at David.

David: Rebecca...

But gave in knowing David need help.

Rebecca: Fine! You better make him well again! Or else your ass is scrap!

Stepping aside, Y/n get to work on fixing David. Removing some of David cybernetics to reduce his cyberpsycosis. While Rebecca looks on concern as she waited for Y/n to get done.

Few seconds later...

Y/n: It's done...

Removing himself from David, Rebecca was shock to see David back to normal but was more surprise to see that David look like his old self before he had the cybernetics implants.

David: *groan* Ugh, my head...

Rebecca: David!

Rebecca hug David in relief.

Rebecca: You're back! And you look like your old self again!

David: What?

David took a look at himself seeing that he's back to normal at least.

David: My cybernetics...

Y/n: I had to remove them, David.

David: Huh?

Both David and Rebecca look at Y/n who revert back to his human form. Rebecca blushed when seeing Y/n.

Y/n: The cybernetics was messing with your head. And seeing you refused to listen after being warned, I had no choice but to remove them.

David: Damn... anyway thank you for the save. You saved both me and Rebecca life. We owe you one!

Y/n: Don't mention it!

Y/n walks over to Adam Smasher body as he start looking through for something.

Rebecca: Hey, what are you doing?

Y/n: I'm looking for something.

David: Like what?

He doesn't respond as he continue looking for something. Finding Adam Smasher head, he start removing the face off as he look through his brain. Grossing both David and Rebecca out before finding what he was looking for.

Y/n: Found it!

Pulling out a chip that was implanted in Adam Smasher head.

David: What is that?

Y/n: This my friend is a military grade computer chip. Its the thing that was giving Adam Smasher the ability to control his tech without problems of psychosis.

Y/n smile to himself before putting it away.

Y/n: Now... you two ready to go back to the rest of your crew?
