The Walking Dead Episode 1: A New Day Part 1
The Walking Dead Episode 1: A New Day Part 1
The audience once again got a mixed reaction at the reveal of the next universe. Once again, the characters who liked horror and were interested in this universe after seeing the trailer of it were more than pleased with it. The characters who either disliked horror or wanted to take a break from it after watching two universes related to it were less than pleased, though.
Ed rubbed his hands excitedly, "We will be watching zombies now? Awesome!"
"Time for me to finally get my time to shine!" Atori said through her handpuppet, remembering seeing her countepart in the trailer of this universe.
"Time for the competition between me and Y/N on who will be a better father to Sophia to begin!" Akira declared dramatically. His fellow Phantom Thieves smiled in amusement at his playful declaration. Sumire was the only exception. She blushed heavily, remembering how she and her Senpai were married and had a child together in this universe.
"Do we really have to do three universes with horror in them in a row?" Tanuma asked, voicing what everyone who was less pleased with this universe being the next one to be viewed by them.
Kasumi nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Will we be watching only horror related stuff or what?"
"Don't worry. The next universe will not be horror related." B revealed, getting smiles out of everyone who wanted to take a break from the horror related stuff.
"It will still have some dark stuff in it, though..." Q muttered under her breath.
The first viewing of this universe began with a view of a police car driving forward itself along the highway, driving away from the city of Atlanta. The camera cut into the police car shortly after and an eldery man was shown adjusting rearview mirror in his car before looking at the person sitting behind him. This person was Y/N.
Chronoire put her hand on her chin in thought, recognizing the city behind Y/N and the police officer.
Ozpin took a sip from his mug, "I see we're starting off where the trailer started."
"Hopefully we will get a chance to find out what crime young L/N committed to get himself in this position." Vlad King said.
Aizawa nodded in agreement, "Considering he will be taking care of Eri in this universe from what we've seen in the trailer, it will be nice to know what did he do to get himself sentenced to jail."
"Well, I reckon you didn't do it, then." The police officer said, breaking the silence between him and Y/N in an attempt of starting a conversation between them.
Y/N looked at him questioningly, "Why do you say that?"
"Y'know, I've driven a buncha fellas down to this prison. Lord knows how many. Usually is 'bout now I get the "I didn't do it."" The police officer explained himself to Y/N for asking him this question.
Sae rolled her eyes, "Obviously."
"Yeah." Zenkichi nodded in agreement, "I lost the count of how many times it happened in my work."
Roman crossed his arms, "Good to know I'm not one of those."
"This is nothing to be proud about, Torchwick." Goodwitch pointed out with a roll of her eyes.
Roman shrugged, "At least me and Neo always own up to what we do instead of trying to play innocent."
Neo nodded in agreement to this.
"Then, tell us who's the mastermind of what's happening in Vale." Ironwood told him.
Roman shook his head, "Nope. There's a difference between snitching and owning up to everyone. Plus, I like living. Thank you very much."
B and Q exchanged glances with each other, feeling like they will have to have a conversation with Roman and Neo about Cinder and her plans during one of the breaks.
"Every time?" Y/N wanted to know.
"EVERY time." The police officer nodded in confirmation.
"We've got what looks like a 10-91E near Peachtree Exit of 285. All cars asked to keep on the lookout for a 91V in the area." A voice echoed from the police radio as Y/N looked at the rearview mirror.
The police officer took notice of this and started to continue his coversation with Y/N, "I followed your case a little bit, you being a Macon boy and all."
Eddy crossed his arms, "Macon, huh?"
Ryuji rubbed the back of his head, "Where's this place?"
"It's in Georgia." Chronoire explained, "I was in Georgia before I came to Japan and I passed by Macon."
Kazane looked at her questioningly, "Why were you in Georgia?"
"Some Tower Witch related stuff." Chronoire replied.
"You're from Macon then." Y/N deduced.
The police officer smiled proudly, "Yep. Came up to Atlanta to be a city cop in the seventies. Always wanted to work a murder case, like that senatorial mess you got yourself mixed up in, with all due respect. A real shame, that is."
Nezu hummed, "Senatorial mess?"
"Looks like Y/N got himself involved in a mess with some politician." Sojiro stated.
"It reminds me of something..." Makoto stated, glancing at Akira.
Akira sighed, "Yeah. Me too. It's just like my situation with Shido..."
Y/N looked out the window as another police car speeded past in the opposite direction with its sirens on.
"Hell, the whole family used to be regulars at your folks' drugstore right in downtown. Still there?" The police officer asked out of curiosity.
Izuku and Double D exchanged glances and nodded at each other, writing down the information about this version of Y/N's parents owning a drugstore in Macon.
Mako smiled, "My uncle and auntie are alive in this universe?"
Ryuko nodded at her best friend, smilling slightly herself, "Looks like it."
"Good to know they aren't dead or missing for a chance." Momo smiled, gladdened by this information as much as Mako was.
Honoka nodded in agreement, "Yeah. It's a nice change to the rest of the universes where they either died or went missing."
"I hate to be that person but I wouldn't write them off as being alive right away." Inumuta said, resulting in most of the audience looking at him.
Momo looked at him questioningly, "What do you mean?"
"We all remember how Y/N was shown putting down his brother as zombie in the trailer, right? His parents could have easily shared the brother's fate." Inumura explained himself to them.
Momo and Mako lowered their gaze to the floor at this explanation, seeing a point in Inumuta's way of thinking. Both of them remained hopeful on their uncle and aunt being still alive int his universe, though, despite seeing a point of his way of thinking.
Y/N nodded in confirmation, "Sure is."
"Good." The police officer nodded back.
"Be advised of medical personnel on route to Hartsfield, various 10's and 20's coming in." Some other voice echoed from the police radio as Y/N looked at it with a slight curiosity on his face.
Many people in the audience exchanged glances with each other upon hearing this message from the radion.
Kaminari sighed, "Medical personnel, huh?"
"If I didn't know what kind of universe this is, then I would wonder where they are heading right now." Kirishima stated.
Sero nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Same here."
"Any of that seem important to you?" Y/N asked the officer out of curiosity after a few seconds of silence between them.
"All of it, but that box never shuts up. Sit in this seat and pay too much attention and you'll drive yourself crazy." The police officer gave him an honest answer before asking him a question of his own, "I got a nephew up at UGA, you teach there long?"
"Going on my sixth year." Y/N replied.
"You meet your wife in Athens?" The police officer asked him another question as Y/N looked distressed by the mention of her and looked out of the window.
Many people raised their brows at the mention of Y/N's wife.
"Wife?" Hagakure asked.
"Looks like this version of Y/N was married." Ojiro stated.
"Wife and a enatorial mess?" Tokoyami looked at the viewing screen thoughtfully, "I think I know where this is going."
Reiko nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Me too. Especially with how distressed Y/N he looks at the mention of her."
The police officer took notice of his reaction and went further, "You wanna now how I see it?"
"Sure." Y/N shrugged, knowing he didn't have much of a choice here as several more police cars passed by with their sirens on, along with a SWAT truck, all of them driving in the opposite direction.
"You can really tell something urgent is happening in the town..." Futaba began.
"Atlanta." Chronoire corrected her.
Futaba looked at her questioningly, "What?"
"The town behind them. It's Atlanta." Chronoire explained.
Futaba nodded at her and continued where she left off, "...As I was saying, you can really tell what's happening in Atlanta from how many times a car passed these two."
Ed nodded in agreement, "Almost as if the world was ending."
Futaba sighed, "Yeah."
"Regardless, could be you just married the wrong woman." The police officer suggested as Y/N opened his mouth to speak, but decided not to and let out a dismissive grunt instead.
Many people in the audience directed a glare towards the police officer and the comment he had just made to Y/N regarding his wife.
Haru shook her head, glaring angrily at the officer, "He did not just go there."
Tokoyami sighed, "Looks like I was right about something happening between Y/N's wife and the senator."
"It was quite obvious. Especially after seeing how Y/N reacted at the mention of her." Reiko nodded in agreement, feeling sad this version of her boyfriend got cheated on. She wasn't the only one from Y/N partners who felt bad about it. Weiss, Ryuko and Atori felt sorry for him. Haru felt sorry for him as well, despite her not being in a relationship with Y/N.
Inumuta crossed his arms, "With that, I think I know what happened between him and the senator to get him sentenced."
Uzu nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Me too. He must have found out or catch them in the act and lost control of himself."
Touko gasped at this, "You don't think Y/N killed him?"
"I find this possible as well, Touko." Rinon told her, "Many partners tend to lose control of themselves after they catch their partner cheating on them. This is what must have happened with Y/N here."
"You'll have to learn to stop worrying about things you can't control." The police officer stated. He was about to say more, but got cut off by his own police radio.
"Riot in progress. All officers available for incoming 217's. Rolling calls and dispatches to all locations." A voice sounded in the radio as a helicopter, two SWAT trucks, and several police cars passed by.
"I'm driving this man once, he was the worst one. He wouldn't stop going on about how he didn't do it. He was an older fella. Big, soft eyes behind a pair of smart folk glasses, and he's just wailing back there, says it wasn't him. Crying and snotting all over, right where you're sitting..." The police officer began a story, trying to cool down the tension between him and Y/N from his previous comment. He didn't get a chance to finish what he was saying, though as he got once again interrupted by his own radio.
"Ew." Some members of the audience cringed at the story, especially the snotting part.
"All officers are available for incoming 21..." The voice in the radio didn't got a chance to finish what he was saying as the police officer turned it off, now wanting any further interruptions.
"I wouldn't turn it off if I were you." Qrow said.
Tai sighed, "He most likely doesn't know what's happening in the world around him, yet and wrote it off as some nonsense."
Oobleck nodded in agreement, letting out a sigh himself, "Unfortunely many of us would write this off as some nonsense if we were in this place."
The police officer went to finishing his story right after, "Then before long he starts kicking the back of the seat, li--like a fussy baby on an airplane. And I tell him he's gotta stop, that's government property, and I'll be forced to zap him otherwise. So he stops, and having exhausted all his options, he starts crying out for his Mama. "Mama, it's all a big mistake! It wasn't me!"
B and Q exchanged glances with each other, knowing who was the person from the officer's story.
"What a wimp." Neo pulled out a sign. She may have been a criminal, but she never tried to play innocent.
Sojiro crossed his arms, "Someone was really trying to convince someone of their innocence, huh?"
"What if he was innocent?" Ruby asked, "People getting jailed for something they didn't do happens from time to time. Right?"
Makoto nodded, "It's true. It isn't anything new."
"Joker is the best example of it." Morgana added, looking up at Akira.
"So did he do it?" Y/N wanted to know.
"They caught the fucker red-handed! Stabbin' his wife, cutting her up as the boys came through the door!" The police officer replied as Y/N nodded in understanding, now certain the man from the story was indeed guilty.
Ruby sighed, "Alright. Scratch what I just said."
Makoto nodded, "Yeah. If they caught him red-handed, then there's no way he was innocent."
Kirishima shook his head, "I hate this kind of people so much."
"What do you mean?" Mina asked.
"They do some of the heinous crap and when they are caught they either kill themselves to escape the consequences or try to play innocent." Kirishima explained himself, getting a nod from Mina and everyone else who wanted to hear his explanation.
Tetsutetsu nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Acting like this after you are caught in your crime isn't manly at all."
"...He sits in my car screaming bloody murder that it wasn't him! I think he actually believed it himself. It goes to show, people will up and go mad when they believe their life is over." The police officer continued his story as he looked over his shoulder, failing to notice someone had just wandered right in front of his car.
Sun pointed towards the viewing screen, "Um, is anyone going to tell him someone had just entered the hallway?"
"Keep your eyes on the road!" Tai shouted, looking at the police officer in a disappointed manner.
"Eyes on the road!" Zenkichi yelled a second after Tai.
Winter sighed, "Unfortunely I don't think this will do much."
Coco pinched the bridge of her nose, having just remembered something from the trailer, "Dammit! I forgot about these were going to crash!"
"Oh, I got another good one for ya. This one's a little bit less depressing and a bit more hilarious if I do say so..." The police officer was about to begin the next story from his work to Y/N in an attempt to kill the time it would take them to get to the prison. Because of him keeping his attention on Y/N, he still failed to notice someone standing right in front of his police car.
Unlike him, Y/N noticed someone standing in their way and wasted no time when it came to warning him about it, "In the road!"
"This other time..." The police officer continued, his brain not processing Y/N in time as his car crashed into the person on the road just a second later.
Many members of the audience cringed at the scene.
"Students. This is why you always have your eyes on the road." Nezu lectured his students, getting nods of understanding from everyone from the younger part of the audience. Not just the U.A students.
Eddy elbowed Double D, "See, Sockhead? Maybe if you will listen to him advice, then you will finally pass your driver's test."
Double D looked embarassed by it, "Eddy..."
The car with Y/N and the unknown officer inside veered out of control, going through the guard rail, and off the edge of the cliff. Having been leff half-conscious by what just happened, Y/N saw the walkers moving outside the car and heard screams and growls before passing out.
The audience continued to cringe at the scene, especially after seeing how the undead walked past the police car, knowing how close Y/N came to becoming their meal right now.
"So scary..." Jimmy muttered under his breath.
"Good thing Y/N was still in the car." Nazz said.
Kevin nodded in agreement, "Yeah. I don't think it would end well for him if the officer took him out of there or if he was somehow knocked outside by the impact of the crash"
"Speaking of which, where is he now?" Jonny asked.
"Rolf thinks the undead monsters took care of him." Rolf stated, "The screams of anguish must have belonged to him."
Y/N regained his consciousness some time later, letting out a painful grunt as he did so, "Ugh... Ow, shit."
Upon opening his eyes, Y/N tried to take off his handcuffs but was unable to do without a key. Where the key was? He was certain the officer had it with himself, whenever he was right now.
"Thirsty... Ahh!" He groaned in pain a moment later and took a look at his leg, seeing he had a large cut on the upper aprt of it, "...Fuck, my leg."
Many people in the audience cringed at the view of the cut on Y/N's leg, some members of the audience glancing away from it as they didn't want to look at it.
Nora cringed, "Yikes."
"That's a nasty cut." Nonon stated, rubbing her upper leg with her hand.
"He needs to get it treated as quickly as possible." Recovery Girl stated, knowing the consequences of not treating such wound.
Y/N shifted his gaze away from the cut on his leg and looked out the back window and saw the officer lying facedown on the ground with blood smeared behind him.
Many people in the audience looked at the officer with saddened looks on their faces.
"Poor guy." Qrow said, taking a sip from his flask.
Sojiro nodded, "Yeah. He seemed like a good guy."
"Aside from the remark about Y/N's wife." Sae pointed out.
Sojiro once again nodded, "Yeah. Aside from that."
He turned away from him shortly after and shifted his gaze to the back window. Not wasting any time, he kicked it an attempt of breaking it open and window fell out of the car after a few kicks.
"Hey! Hey, officer! Are you alright?! I'm still cuffed back here!" He called out for the officers with hopes of him hearing him, getting no answer.
"I don't think he will answer your calls Y/N." Yang stated.
"To be honest I don't think a thought of the officer being dead crossed Y/N's mind." Ren stated, "For all we know, he may think the officer was ejected from the car and was knocked out."
Yatsuhashi nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Especially since he doesn't know what's really happening around him for now."
Yang sighed, knowing these two were right.
Knowing the officer won't help him, Y/N climbed himself out of the car and landed on the ground with a painful thud. He slowly got himself back on his feet and started to make his way towards the unmoving officer.
"Officer?" He called out for him again, trying to get into contact with him again with the same effect.
"At least the officer didn't turn into a zombie." Hagakure said, slightly relieved by the officer being dead instead of the undead.
"Not yet, at least. We don't know for how long Y/N was unconscious. For all we know, he could have been unconscious long enough for the officer to change into a zombie, ribbit." Tsu stated.
"Don't forget about the zombies which passed by the car before Y/N fell unconscious. They can still be around." Kendo reminded her fellow members of the audience.
Tokage shook her head, "He really needs to hurry if he wants to avoid getting into contact with any of them."
Y/N stopped in front of the unmoving officer and reached down, picking up the keys to the handcuffs. He tried to unlock his handcuffs with them, but dropped the keys on the ground before she could finish. Much to his luck or rather lack of it, the keys have landed next to the officer's face.
"Shit!" He cursed.
Bakugo facepalmed, "Idiot."
"In his defense, trying to unlock the handcuffs you have on your wrists by yourself does seem like a hard task." Izuku stated.
Iida nodded in agreement, "Especially when you're wounded."
Bakugo rolled his eyes, "Whatever."
Y/N let out a deep breath, preparing himself for what he was about to do and quickly leaned forward and picked up the keys from the ground. Not wasting any time, he unlocked his handcuffs and rubbed his wrists once they were free from them. Just as he started rubbing his wrists, the officer started groaning faintly.
A good portion of the audience put themselves on high alert as the officer began to growl, knowing what it meant.
"Dammit. He's waking up." Ryuji said.
"Let's just hope it won't alert more zombies in the area." Ann stated.
"Uh, officer...?" Y/N asked him in confusion as the officer growled at him and tried to grab him. Y/N collapsed on the ground and began to crawl away from the officer in fear and confusion, "What in the hell?!"
The audience reacted in their own ways at the small jumpscare. Some of them screamed in terror, some of the flinched their seat and some of their gripped their seats with starled expression on their faces.
Y/N continued to crawl away from the walker officer for the next few seconds until reaching a large rock next to the police car. Just as he leaned against it, a shotgun appeared in his view. Not wasting any time, he picked it up and found out it didn't have any shells in it a second later. He looked around himself and his eyes quickly caught the sight of a single shotgun shell. He quickly grabbed it and began loading the shotgun...only for the shell to fell out of his grasp.
"Shit!" He cursed himself for his clumsiness.
Bakugo deadpanned, "Seriously?"
"Come on, Y/N! Pick it up!" Weiss shouted in worry.
Haru nodded in agreement, "He's getting closer!"
Y/N quickly reached out for the shell and picked it up again before loading the shotgun with it, this time managing to do it without dropping it in the process. He quickly aimed the shotgun towards the crawling officer as the undead man was getting closer and closer to him.
"Don't make me do this!" He shouted, trying to make the man stop. He didn't. Y/N sighed, knowing what had to be done. He shoot the officer in the head and his head exploded in the pieces, killing him for good.
A good portion of the audience cringed at the officer's head became a bloody mess.
"Yikes. What a mess." Jaune muttered under his breath, cringing at the disgusting imaginery. Personally he couldn't imagine himself as a zombie and didn't even want to think how it felt like to become one.
"He really need to get out of there right now." Jonny stated.
Eddy nodded in agreement, "Yeah. This shot must have alerted every zombie in the area."
Y/N tossed the shotgun to the ground, "Man..."
Pyrrha sighed in relief, "That was close."
Neptune nodded in agreement, "Yeah."
"What about the shotgun?" Ruby asked, "I wouldn't toss it away if I were him."
"It's still the beginning of all this, Ruby." Scarlet told her, "I don't think he knows how useful this kind of weaponry will become useful in the future."
It was when one figure caught his attention in the distance. He set his attention on this figure, letting the audience know who it was. It was Eri.
Ms. Joke smiled slightly, elbowing Aizawa, "Look, Eraser. There's our daughter."
Aizawa rolled his eyes at her, "Stop."
Izuku hummed to himself, "So this is how their first meeting will go."
"Help! Go get someone! There's been a shooting!" Y/N shouted as Eri fearfully turned away from him and ran out of his view.
"Why did she run away?" Mako asked.
"She must have been spooked by Y/N telling her there was a shooting." Aikuro stated.
"Either that or she didn't see him." Tsumugu stated.
Aikuro nodded, "Yeah. That too."
Knowing he can't stay here for any longer, Y/N pushed himself back on his feet. As he found himself back on his feet, walkers emerged from the rest and began to make their way towards him in their usual slow pace.
Many people on the younger part of the audience looked at the viewing screen nervously, not wanting to imagine themselves being surrounded by so many zombies
Kaminari shook his head, "Dammit. They already here."
"They must have been close if they reached him so quickly." Shoji stated.
"Y/N! Get out of there!" Ruby shouted in worry.
Seeing how many of them were walking towards him right now, Y/N tried to distance himself from them but tripped over the officer's body and fell to the ground. Quickly getting himself back on his feet, limped away from the walkers as quickly as he could as he was chased by a large group of the undead, making a fence in front of him his destination as he knew it was his only way of getting away from them.
Upon reaching the fence, he climbed over the fence to escape the upcoming walkers and landed on the ground. He crawled himself away from the fence, not bothering to stand up for not as the walkers pound on the fence in an attempt of reaching their meal. They fortunely never reached Y/N as shots were fired in the background, followed by the sound of people screaming.
The audience exchanged disturbed glances with each other at the sound of so many people screaming in the background at the same time.
All Might sighed, feeling bad for those people, "So many of them must needing help right now..."
"Looks like we've reached the part of the zombie related stuff where people are starting to panic." Atori stated through her handpuppet. Everyone who had seen at least one movie with zombies or played a video game with them nodded in agreement.
Y/N got up from the ground and looked around, noticing he is in the backyard of a house in a small neighborhood, "Hello? Anybody?"
"Do you think anyone will hear him?" Natsume asked.
"Considering what we just heard in the background, I don't think so."
"What about Eri?" Uraraka asked, "When Y/N saw her, she ran off this direction. Maybe she is someone close to him right now."
Izuku sighed, "I hope so. It's too dangerous for someone as young as Eri to be by herself during all of this."
After receiving no answer from anyone, Y/N once again looked around himself and a treehouse next to him caught his attention. He pushed himself into walk towards it and and walked or rather limped across the garden of the house he had just stumbled upon.
He stopped in front of it and looked up, "Anybody up there?"
"Looks like she ain't there." Midnight stated.
"Yup." Present Mic nodded, "A treehousewould make a good hideout for someone as young as her, though."
All Might nodded in agreement, "Yeah. It would keep her away from them."
"It would make it hard for her to get any food and water, though." Sae pointed out.
"It would be hard for someone her age to find those things, no matter if her hideout was a treehouse or not." Ironwood pointed out in return as Sae nodded at him.
Upon once again receiving no answer from anyone, Y/N turned away from the treehouse and pushed himself into walk again. He slowly limped his way to the back entrance of the house, intending to check it out in search of help. He stopped in front of the sliding glass door, taking a look into the house from there.
"Hello? Anybody home? I need a little help." He called out for help, knocking on the sliding glass door. After once again receiving no answer to any one of his calls, he knocked on the sliding door a few more time, before muttering to himself, "Screw it. I'm just going in." He afterwards added in a louder tone, "Coming in. Don't shoot, okay?"
He slid the door open and walked into the house, grabbing his leg in pain upon entering it. He let out a grunt of pain, followed by a sigh as he knew he will have to find help otherwise he won't
"Ahh, shit. Hello? I'm not an intruder... or one of them." He said as he looked ahead of himself and saw the state this house was in. He noticed the furniture in the living room was knocked over and there were bloodstains on the floor and wall of the kitchen.
A collective sigh echoed across the audience as everyone figured out what must have happened to the owners of this house.
Kyochiro sighed, "Looks like we know what happened with the owners of this house."
Komachi shook her head, "Those poor people..."
"What about the zombies who killed them?" Jaune asked, "Do you think they are still in the house?"
"Let's hope not." Pyrrha replied.
"These people might need more help than I do." He muttered to himself as he limped forward himself, intending to explore as much of this house as he could have right now.
He shook his head to himself, seeing how the furniture were overturned and how there was blood anywhere. He slowly made his way to the TV, knowing he may get some useful information about the current situation if he will watch the news. He sighed to himself as soon as he reached the TV, though as the cable was out, preventing him from turning on the news or any other channel.
He turned away from the TV shortly after and something else caught his attention. His eyes caught the sight of paintings and they seemed to be made by a child. It was enough to get a saddened sigh out of him, "God, a kid lived here..."
Koda gasped, "A kid lived here?
"Is this Eri's house?" Kirishima wondered.
Iida nodded, "It would make sense, considering she ran off in the direction of it."
"Where is she, then?" Mina asked.
"What about the blood we just saw on the floor?" Momo brought up the matter of the bloody floor, "If this is her house, then could this mean it belonged to her parents?"
"I hope not." Izuku gave her an honest answer.
Letting out one more sigh, Y/N turned away from it and walked over to the answering machine. Knowing he may get some useful information about whoever lived here from it, he turned it.
"Three new messages. Message one. Left at 5:43 PM." A male robotic voice echoed from the answering machine as Y/N turned away from it, letting it speak when he will continue his exploration of the house.
"Hey, Nejire..." A female voice followed by the robotic voice in the answering machine as Y/N headed towards the kitchen.
Everyone from U.A was suprised by the mention of the sole female members of the Big Three.
"Nejire?" Uraraka asked as Tsu looked equally as suprised by this mention of her.
Double D looked at Izuku questioningly, "You know who this is?"
Izuku nodded at him, "She'a from our universe. She's the third year student in our school and one of the top students, making a member of what we call "Big Three."."
Double D nodded in undertanding, "I see."
"...This is Yumiko. We're still in Savannah. Daiki had a little "incident" with some crazy guy near the hotel, so we had to get him back to the ER and have it checked out." The woman now identified as Yumiko said as Y/N walked into the kitchen, avoiding the pool of blood in it in order to avoid slipping on it.
Nezu hummed, "I see. Her parents are out of town right now."
"It would make Hado Eri's babysitter." All Might stated.
Nezu nodded at him, "Precisely."
"Where is she now, though?" Thirteen asked, receiving no answer to her question.
"Eri's dad had a incident with some crazy guy?" Present Mic looked slightly disturbed, knowing where this was going, "Is this what I think it is?"
"I hope not." Aizawa told him.
"...Anyway, he's not feeling well enough to drive back tonight, so we're staying an extra day. Thanks so much for looking after Eri, and I promise we'll be back in time before your spring break!" Yumiko finished the first message with those words.
"Message two. Left at 11:19 PM." The familiar robotic voice sounded in the answering machine as soon as the first message ended as Y/N picked up a glass of water and drank everything in one go, knowing it was exactly what he needed right now.
Yumiko's voice echoed in the answering machine a second later. There was something off about her voice this time, though, "Oh, my God, finally!"
"She sounds more panicked here." Ozpin remarked.
Winter nodded, "Something must have went down where she and her husband went."
"Does it have something to do with the crazy guy who attacked them?" Tai asked.
"Mostly likely." Port nodded in agreement, "Or it may have something to do with what's going on this universe in general."
"Or it can be a mixture of both." Oobleck stated as Port nodded at him.
"I don't know if you tried to reach us; all the calls are getting dropped." Yumiko's message continued as Y/N opened a drawer by the sink, seeing a walkie-talkie inside. Taking it for himself and placing it in his pocket, he continued to listen to the message, "They're not letting us leave and aren't telling us anything about Atlanta. Please, please, just leave the city and take Eri with you back to Marietta. I've got to get back to the hospital. Please let me know that you're safe."
Many people in the audience grew worried upon hearing the second message from Eri's mother.
"I see. They're not letting them leave." Aoyama said.
"Considering Eri's father could have been attacked by a zombie, it's not not suprising why they would keep them in the hospital." Tokoyami nodded.
"What about Atlanta, though?" Hatsume asked, "Why would Eri's mother mention it? Is there something important going on there?"
"It would explain why we saw so many police forces driving towards it earlier." Shinso stated.
"Perharps they are making some kind of safe zone there." Shoji theorized.
"Then, we know Y/N should stay away from it." Futaba stated.
Ed nodded in agreement, "One of the first rule of the zombie apocalypse. The safe zones made by the government never work out."
"Message three. Left at 6:51 AM." The robotic voice in the answering machine informed Y/N the third and the last message will be played now after the second message ended.
The second message began with Yumiko'st tearful voice, "Eri? Baby, if you can hear this, call the police. That's 9-1-1. We love you...we love you...we love y--"
A collective saddened sigh echoed across the theater as many people in the audience stared at the viewing screen sadly.
Uraraka gasped, "No..."
"Looks like Eri's parents met their unfortunate end in Savannah." Yusuke stated with a saddened look on his face.
Komachi put her hand over her mouth in shock, "This poor girl."
"Eraser?" Ms. Joke shifted her gaze to Aizawa and saw him staring at the viewing screen with a saddened look on his face. She put her hand on his and clutched him, trying to comfort him a little and Aizawa didn't push her comfort away.
The machine beeped after the last message as Y/N looked in the direction of it with a saddened look on his face. He walked out of the kitchen and walked over to a furniture where the picture of Eri with her parents was located. He picked it up, looking the family on it with a saddened look on his face.
"...Daddy?" Eri's voiced sounded in the walkie-talkie he had found in the kitchen as it activated.
Uraraka's eyes slightly lit up at Eir's voice, "Eri."
Izuku smiled slightly in relief, "We finally got something from her."
Kirishima nodded in agreement, "Good thing L/N-bro took the walkie-talkie from the kitchen. Otherwise I dodn't think he would come into contact with Eri."
"Huh?" Y/N was suprised by this as he set the picture down on the furniture. He reached down to pull the walkie-talki out of his pocket. Upon doing so, he lifted it up to his mouth, "Who is this?"
"You need to be quiet." Eri told him.
"Who is this?" Y/N asked as he turned away from the furniture and began limping across the room, wanting to do something while he will talk with Eri.
"I'm Eri. This is my house." Eri introduced herself to him.
Y/N smiled slightly at her introduction, "Hi, Eri. I'm Y/N."
"You're not my daddy." Eri stated.
The audience exchanged saddened glances with each other at Eri mentioning her father to Y/N, knowing what happened to him.
"Looks like we know how Ms. L/N will achieve his redemption." Ozpin stated.
Qrow looked at him questioningly, "What do you mean, Oz?"
"B and Q described to us how this universe is a story about redemption before we watched the trailer of it." Ozpin reminded the members of the audience who forgot about it, "Looks like we have been just revealed how he will achieve it. By taking care of little girl who lost her parents."
Izuku and Double D exchanged glances with each other at this theory from Ozpin and wrote it down in their notebooks, finding this theory to be quite likely.
B and Q glanced at each other as soon as Ozpin voiced his theory to the audience. They knew how Y/N will achieve his redemption in the end and just thinking about the last scene he and Eri will have with each other was enough to make them tear up.
"No. I'm not." Y/N's smile faded away from his face at her words as he began to make his way back to the kitchen, "How old are you?"
"Eight." Eri replied.
Y/N looked concerned by this fact, "And you're all alone?"
"Yes. I don't know where anybody is." Eri confirmed.
"I wouldn't be suprised if she was the only person left in this neighbourhood." Uzu stated.
Kevin nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Me too. Everyone must have left after things started going down."
"...How old are you?" Eri finished off her reply with a question.
"I'm, uhh...37." Y/N revealed his age to her as he entered the kitchen, once again avoiding the pool of blood and stopped by the window.
Izuku and Double D nodded, writing down the age of this version of Y/N in their notebooks.
"He's still younger than some of us." Tai stated.
"Yup." Qrow nodded in agreement, letting out a sigh. He wasn't the only one. Each member of the audience who was older than 37 sighed as well.
Roman noticed the sighs a few members of the audience and muttered to himself, "Good to know at least I'm a few years younger than him..."
"Okay." Eri voiced her understanding to him.
"Are you safe?" Y/N wanted to know.
"I'm outside in my treehouse. They can't get in." Eri explained.
Y/N smiled at this, looking out of the window at the treehouse, "That's smart."
Midnight smiled slightly, "Looks like she was there, after all."
"Why she didn't tell him she was there?" Nora asked.
"She probably wanted to make sure if Y/N was dangerous or not." Ren stated, "If it was someone else, they could've hurt her."
Ed nodded in agreement, "Never trust strangers right away during a zombie apocalypse."
Aizawa smiled slightly at this, "Smart girl."
"See?" Eri added as he opened the door to the treehouse, revealing herself to Y/N, "Can you see me? I can see you through the window."
Eri waved at Y/N in a friendly manner as Y/N smiled at her and waved back.
A good portion of the audience smiled at the scene.
Medusa smiled, "Yeah. I can tell they will get along."
It was when Eri let out a fearful scream and jumped back into the house, taking Y/N by suprise. He turned around aftewards and saw a zombified Nejire. She growled as it lunged for him, trying to attack him.
"Shit!" Ryuji shouted with widened eyes as he was starled by this. He wasn't the only one. Most of the audience was starled by Nejire's sudden appearance as a zombie.
"Dammit! I should have known something like this would happen!" Yang shouted, having forgotten about the possibility of there being a zombie in the house because of the conversation Y/N and Eri just had with each other.
Mineta pointed at the hair color of the walker on the viewing screen, "Wait a second! Look at her hair!"
Mina gasped as soon as she recognized who this walker was, "Hado-senpai?!"
"She turned into a zombie?!" Sero asked with widened eyes.
"No..." Uraraka muttered under her breath, growing saddened by the view of Nejire in such a state.
Y/N let out a starled scream and wasted no time when it came to fighting her back. As he tried to run away from her, he slipped on the pool of blood hit his head on the counter.
"Dammit!" Sun shouted.
Yusuke shook his head, "He must have forgotten about this pool of blood because of what's happening right now."
"Come on, Y/N! Get out of there!" Touko shouted.
He landed on the floor a second later and looked in the direction of Nejire. Despite his vision having been left blurry by his fall, he could see the zombified girl was still making her way towards him. When she was close enough to him, he kicked her away from him and quickly pushed himself back on his feet. Just as he was about to run away from her, Nejire grabbed his leg and tripped him.
"Really?! Again?!" Rinon asked.
Bakugo deadpanned at the amount of times it happened so far, "He can't go five minutes without tripping over his own feet or something?"
Not wasting any time, Y/N punched Nejire away from him and crawled over to the sliding glass door. As soon as he found himself in front of it, Eri came in his aid with a hammer in her hand. She slid the door open as Nejire got near Y/N again, resulting in him kicking her away from him again.
"Here!" Eri shouted, holding the hammer out to Y/N as Y/N looked over his shoulder at her. He took the hammer from her shaking hands and got up from the floor. He hit Nejire with it, knocking her to the floor and continued to smash her head with his new weapon until she stopped moving. He didn't stop there, though. He violently bashed her face until it wasn't recognizable anymore.
Many people cringed in disgust as they watched how Nejire's face became a bloody mush.
Coco cringed, "Yikes. He really went all the way on her."
"Did he really have to keep bashing her face after she stopped moving?" Uraraka asked, feeling saddened by what happened with this version of Nejire.
"Better safe than sorry." Futaba replied, "It's zombie apocalypse, after all."
Ed nodded in agreement, "A zombie can get up and take you by suprise if you won't make sure you killed them."
Uraraka sighed, "Right."
"Poor Hado-senpai, ribbit." Tsu said.
"...Man." Y/N let out a deep breath after making sure Nejire was dead as he put his hands on his knees to catch a breath. He pulled his hands away from his knees shortly after, setting his eyes on Eri, "Hi there."
Eri took a step backwards as Nejire's blood oozed across the floor, "Did you kill it?"
Y/N gave her an uncertain nod of his head, "I don't know. I think so."
"Her face is a bloody mush, Y/N. I think it's safe to say you killed her." Neptune stated.
"Don't forget it's the start of the apocalypse, dude. They still don't know how stuff works when it comes to zombies." Sun told him.
"Especially if it's the kind of universe where people don't know what a zombie is." Jaune added, "Which I find highly possible, considering we haven't seen Y/N call zombies a zombies. At least for now."
Neptune nodded, "Right."
Nora smiled at Jaune. "Wow. Looks like our fearless leader reading all those comic books is paying off right now."
"He isn't the only one." Eddy muttered, glancing at Ed.
"Sometimes they come back." Eri stated.
Y/N looked at her questioningly, "Have you killed one?"
Eri shook her head, "No. But they get shot a lot."
Y/N knelt down in front of her with a slightly saddened look on his face, "You've been all by yourself through this?"
Ectoplasm looked at the viewing screen sadly, "Poor girl."
"Good thing young L/N found her now. Who knows what could have happened to her if he didn't and she stayed in her treehouse instead." Nezu stated.
Komachi shook her head at this scenario, "I don't even want to imagine what would happen to her if he didn't found her."
"You're not the only one." Aizawa muttered under his breath.
Eri nodded in confirmation, "Yeah. I want my parents to come home now."
"I think that might be a little while, you know?" Y/N stated.
"This brings me the question." Winter said, "What is he supposed to do with the truth about her parents."
"He needs to tell her what happened with them. Nothing good will come out of keeping the truth away from her." Tai voiced his thoughts on the matter.
"Is now the time to tell her about this, though? They are strangers to each other right now, after all." Medusa pointed out.
"Yeah." Komachi agreed with Medusa, "Especially with what is happening around them right now."
"Personally I think Y/N should tell her about this. Not now, though." Sojiro gave his honest thoughts on the matter, "He should tell her this after he will gain her trust and after they will find a safe place."
Everyone agreed with Sojiro's plan.
Eri looked down sadly, "...Oh."
Y/N moved a bit closer to her, "Look, I don't know what happened. But I'll look after you until then."
Eri nodded, "What should we do now?"
"They should leave the house." Reiko replied.
Tokoyami nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Nothing good will come out of staying in the house."
"Not to mention only an idiot would decide to leave at night." Futaba added, agreeing with the idea of leaving now, "It would lower the visibility and it would make you more vulnerable to attacks."
Y/N thought for a few seconds and gave Eri his answer, "We need to find help before it gets dark."
Eri nodded at him, liking the idea, "Yeah, it's not safe at night."
"Approved." Futaba nodded in approval of the idea. She wasn't the only one. Many people in the audience approved of the idea as well.
"Let's go. Stay close to me." Y/N told Eri as he got himself into a standing position and Eri grabbed his hand.
Not wasting any time, both of them walked out of the house together and Eri pulled her hand away from Y/N"s hand and closed the door behind them, leaving Nejire's body behind. She went ahead of Y/N as Y/N followed her, limping as quickly as he could with his wounded leg. As they neared the gate, they noticed two young men in the street who were trying to push a car.
One of those young men was immediately recognized. It was Oscar.
Ruby pointed towards the screen, shifting her gaze between it and Oscar, "Looks Oscar! It's you!"
Oscar smiled slightly at the view of his alternate self, "Oh, I wasn't expecting for my counterpart in this universe to make his appearance this soon."
"Looks like this is how you and Y/N will met each other in this universe." Yang stated.
Oscar nodded at her, "Yup."
"Who is the guy next to you?" Blake asked, "Can you recognize him."
Oscar shook his head, "No. I've never see him before."
"Aw, man..." Oscar's friend sighed, "I ain't never getting home to Mama at this rate."
Oscar nodded, letting out a sigh himself, "This sucks."
"It's hot dish night." Oscar's friend stated.
Y/N looked at the two young men with an interested look on his face as he stopped in front of the gate and was about to open it. He stopped when he looked over his shoulder and saw Eri looking conflicted. He turned around to look at her and knelt down in front of her.
He looked at her questioningly, "What's the matter?"
"Should I stay?" Eri voiced her second thoughts about leaving to him.
Kevin rubbed the back of his head, "Why would she want to stay? She seemed okay with leaving a moment ago."
"She must be afraid this way she won't get a chance to reunite with her parents." Double D sighed, knowing Eri wasn't aware of what really happened with her parents for now.
Nazz shook her head, "Y/N really needs to tell her the truth about them as soon as possible."
Y/N looked suprised by her words, "What?'
"I don't want to sleep in the treehouse tonight, but I don't know if I should leave. What if my parents come home?" Eri explained her conflict to her.
The audience stayed silent at Eri's question, many of them looking the young girl in a saddened manner.
Yusuke sighed sadly, "I can already tell the scene where she will find out the truth about them won't be an easy one to watch."
"I won't leave you alone." Y/N promised her.
Eri smiled at him, "Let's go somewhere safe that's close, okay?"
"That's a good idea." Y/N smiled back at her as he got himself into a standing position and walked over to the gate, opening it, "Hey, man."
Oscar turned around to look at him, starled, "Oh, man!"
"Don't eat us!" His friend added, equally as starled.
Oscar blushed slightly in embrassment at his counterparts reaction to Y/N and Eri.
Bakugo rolled his eyes, "Use your eyes, idiot. Do they look like zombies to you?"
Manoma looked at him with an annoyed look on his face, "Use your brain, you class A scoundrel. From what they must have seen in the city, they must have grown cautious about everyone who approaches them."
Bakugo glared at him, "Shut up, you damn extra!"
Y/N raised his hands in a defensive manner, "We're not gonna hurt you."
Oscar sighed in relief, "Phew, thought for a second you and the little one were both gonna give us the chomp."
Y/N looked at the two men questioningly, "What are you doing?"
"Trying to get home, this neighborhood's a disaster. Are you trying to get outta here? Because you should be. Those things are all over the damn place. I haven't seen anything as gnarly as this neighborhood since downtown Atlanta, fifteen miles back." Oscar explained and introduced himself to Y/N and Eri aftewards, "I'm Oscar. Oscar Sakura."
"Sakura?" Oscar looked confused by it, "My last name isn't Sakura."
"Yeah. It's my last name name." Sojiro looked confused by it as well, "My and Futaba's."
"It's because Oscar is your son in this universe." Q explained.
Everyone who knew Sojiro, Futaba and Oscar looked at B and Q with suprised look on their faces, suprised by the fact Oscar and Sojiro were related in this universe, with Sojiro, Futaba and Oscar being suprised by it the most.
"...Okay." Oscar said, "This isn't something I was expecting when it comes to this version of me."
"Same here, kid." Sojiro nodded in agreement, "You can consider me suprised."
"Let's just say this version of you has lots of kids, Sojiro." B explained, remembering the amount of kids the comic book version of Hershel had.
His words only made Sojiro more suprised, "Alright."
Futaba shifted her gaze to Oscar, "So. Should I call you brother, now?"
"Um..." Oscar had no idea how to reply to this as Futaba laughed at his reaction.
"Y/N. This is Eri." Y/N introduced himself and Eri to Oscar and his friend.
"I'm Chet." Chet introduced himself as he knelt down and waved at Eri. Eri smiled and waved back at him.
"We shouldn't be out in the open like this." Oscar stated as Chet got himself back into a standing position, "How about you help us clear the way and we'll take you and your daughter out of here, and down to my family's farm. It should be safer there."
"I'm not her dad. I'm..." Y/N paused for a moment, knowing he couldn't tell Oscar the truth, "...A neighbor. Her parents are out of town."
Roman nodded in approval, "Not a bad lie."
"It's definitely better than telling him you were just on your way to prison." Kazane agreed with him.
Qrow nodded in agreement, "Yeah. I don't think these two would allow a kid like Eri to be near a criminal if he told them the truth."
"I know I wouldn't..." Many heroes and students from U.A thought to themselves at the same time as they imagined a scenarion where they would see a villain taking care of child in their world.
Oscar nodded in understanding, "Let's get going. Staying put for too long is a mistake."
Y/N nodded and turned to Eri, "What do you want to do?"
"I..." Eri began as she shifted her gaze between her house and Y/N. She never got a chance to finish what she was saying as the growling of the undead echoed in the background.
"Dammit!" Eddy shouted.
"Again?" Sumire exclaimed.
Atori shook her head, "Talk about horrible luck."
"Those two must have made too much noise and it led them straight to them." Winter stated, referring to Oscar and Chet.
Oscar looked sheepish about this, "Sorry..."
"Them monsters comin'! We gotta go!" Chet shouted, growing nervous at the sight of the undead and no one in the audience could blame him for his nervousness.
Oscar immediately reacted to this and began pushing the car, "Y/N, quick! Let's go!"
Y/N nodded at Oscar and quickly made his way to back of the car, beginning to help Oscar in pushing it.
"How can he push the car with his leg injures?" Goodwitch asked.
"He must be running on adrenaline right now." Recovery Girl stated as Goodwitch nodded at her.
Eri joined in a few seconds later, helping both of them and their combined effort worked in the end as the car was pushed away, giving them as much space they needed to leave the neighbourhood in Oscar and Chet's truck.
"Let's go!" Oscar shouted once the car was out of the way. The group of four wasted no time and moved towards Shawn and Chet's truck. Chet jumped in the truckbed as Oscar got into the driver's seat of the truck.
"Get in!" Y/N told Eri as Eri nodded at him. Both of them got themselves into the truck a second later. Y/N took his seat on the other front seat as Eri took her seat between him and Oscar, looking out of the back down at the approaching walkers.
Oscar quickly started up his truck and began to drive away from the neighbourhood and the approaching undead, asking Y/N one question once they were in a fair distance from them, "Were any of those guys neighbors too?"
It was when the screen turned black, meaning the first viewing of this universe had ended.
"So. What do you think?" Q asked.
"It was cool." Ed voiced his thoughts on this viewing.
Reiko nodded in agreement, "You could really feel the beginning of the apocalypse during this viewing."
"It was an interesting set up for this universe." Double D voiced his thoughts, looking down at everything he had just written down in his notebook about this universe, "Not a big fan of zombies..."
Ed gasped. "Blasphemy!"
Double D cleared his throat and continued, "...But I'm interested to see where this will go. The redemption part of this universe interests me the most."
"Yeah. Me too." Izuku agreed with him, "Especially since we figured out it will have something to do with Eri because of her..." He paused for a moment, letting out a saddened sigh, "Because of Eri losing her parents."
Double D sighed, "Yeah. Poor girl lost her parents and doesn't even know about it. As of now, at least."
"I just hope L/N will do well as her caretaker in such a scenario." Aizawa said. Everyone agreed with him.
"Just like Sojiro said earlier, I hope he will tell her about it after he will gain her trust and both of them will find a safe place as nothing good will come out of not telling her about it and keeping hopeful." Zenkichi said, voicing his agreement with what Sojiro said earlier on the matter of the truth about Eri's parents.
Ironwood nodded in agreement, "Me too. Keeping the truth away from her will bring trouble sooner or later."
Oscar rubbed the back of his head, looking at Sojiro, "I wasn't expecting the version of me from this universe to be a son of someone I don't know very well."
Sojiro returned his gaze and nodded at him, "Me too, kid. The part where I was told this version of me has multiple children suprised me as well."
Ozpin looked at B and Q questioningly, "What universe will be watch now?"
"We will be coming back to Hell." B replied, pushing the button to start the next viewing.
Hazbin Hotel: Dirty Healings + Addict
-----
Suprise! A double update! I started working on this chapter shortly after I published the last one to kill some time and everything just escalated from there, resulting in me finishing it so quickly. Either way, I'm happy to have finally started TWD in this story as I've been a fan of it since the game came out in 2012.

The police officer - Himself
Sandra - Nejire Hado
