Mass Effect: Intro and Eden Prime

Mass Effect: Intro and Eden Prime

"Mass Effect?" Jaune read the title of the new universe he and the audience were going to watch, "It sounds like a sci-fi movie."

"Sci-fi?" Ed looked at the screen in excitement, "Cool. Just like my comic books!"

Hatsume leaned towards the screen in excitement, "Sci-fi? This means I might get some ideas for new babies from this!"

"Will we see some aliens in this?" Ruby asked with an excited look on her face.

"Most likely." Atori said through her handpuppet, looking at the screen in interest.

"Aliens aren't anything new to us." Hagakure elbowed Mina, smilling at her friend, "We already have an alien queen among us right?"

"Alien queen?" The way Hagakure called Mina confused a lot of people in the audience.

"I wanted my hero name to be Alien Queen but Midnight-sensei didn't like it." Mina explained, letting out a sigh, "In the end, I went with Pinky."

The first thing the audience saw after the title screen faded away was a dark planet seen from space. The camers slowly moved along the planet, giving the audience a good look at it as the sun slowly rose back behind it.

Many people in the audience stared at the beautiful scenery shown to them on the viewing screen in awe.

"Beautiful scenery." Yusuke admired the imaginery with a smile on his face, "I would love to be blessed with an opportunity to pain it."

"Well, what about L/N?" A voice sounded on the screen as the camera continued to show the planet. A few people were able to recognize this voice, though and needless to say, they weren't pleased to hear it, "He grew up in the colonies."

The Phantom Thieves, Sojiro and Sae looked at the screen angrily upon hearing this voice, instantly recognizing it.

"Shido." Akira gritted his teeth in anger.

"Who is this guy?" Eddy asked what the rest of the audience was thinking, having no idea who Shido was.

"Akira almost got his life ruined by asshole!" Ryuji explained, deciding to cut off all the other things Shido was responsible for.

Akira shifted his gaze between Haru and Futaba, "This isn't even the worst thing he did."

"Don't worry." Sae added, "He's in prison now. Where he belongs. We made sure of that."

"He knows how tough life can be die out there. His parents were killed when slavers attacked Mindoir." A voice which was recognized as Ozpin's replied as the camera began to distance itself away from the planet.

Many people in the audience couldn't help, but feel bad for this version of Y/N when they heard he had lost his parents. Mako sighed, remembering how hard his parents death was for her cousin as Ryuko placed her hand on her shoulder.

"He lost his parents?" Sun asked with a saddened look on his face.

"Has every alternate Y/N lost their parents or something?" Kaminari asked.

"At least this universe spared us from having to watch how one of his parents died." Momo sighed, the memories of the black haired Titan feasting on her aunt flying through her head. At least her uncle was still alive in the previous universe B and Q showed them as he must have left Shiganshina before the Titans attacked.

"Slavers?" Ren asked, "So at least one of the alien races from this universe has slavery."

"Not suprised." Futaba stated, "This is a common trope when it comes to the alien races in the sci-fi movie or games."

"Whoever these people are, I doubt they will be pleasant." Blake said, remembering the treatment of the faunus as many people in the audience agreed with her.

"He saw his whole unit die on Akuze." The third voice which belonged to James Ironwood, "He could have some serious emotional scars."

Qrow looked at Ironwood, "Looks like you're in this universe too, Jimmy."

"I just hope things don't turn out like they did in the previous universe we saw." Ironwood sighed, the scene of his alternative self from the Attack on Titan world telling a mourning mother her son's sacrifice meant nothing flying through his head.

"It seems like we're close associates in this universe, James." Ozpin said.

Ironwood nodded at him, "Looks like it."

"Every soldier has scars." Ozpin replied as the camers stopped moving away from the planet when it entered some kind of shop, showing Y/N observing the planet through the window, "L/N's a survivor."

Ironwood and Winter couldn't help, but agree with this version of Ozpin when he stated that every soldier had scars.

"Could this version of Ozzy be related to military in some way?" Qrow asked.

"Is that the kind of person we want protecting the galaxy?" Shido asked.

"They want him to protect the galaxy?" Ruby asked.

Sero rubbed the back of his head, "Is this the story about saving the galaxy from some kind of threat or something like that?"

"I wouldn't be suprised." Uzu replied, "It's a sci-fi universe, after all. How many movies in this category are about saving the galaxy?"

Kevin shrugged his shoulders, "We'll probably find out soon."

"What?" Monoma exclaimed, "They want this scoundrel to protect the galaxy...."

Kendo karate-chopped him, cutting him off,  "When you will learn not to do this?"

"That's the only kind of person who can protect the galaxy." Ozpin replied.

"I'll make the call." Shido replied.

In the year 2148, explorers on Mars discovered the remains of an ancient spacefaring civilization, the Protheans. In the decades that followed, mysterious artifacts revealed startling new technologies, enabling travel to the furthest stars. The basis for this incredible technology was a force that controlled the very fabric of space and time. Theycalled it the greatest discovery in human history. The civilizations of the galaxy call it...

Mass Effect

The members of the audience nodded their heads at the exposition, gladdened to see this universe letting them how the humanity was able to reach the level of the technology which allowed them to travel through space.

"Protheans?" Izuku wrote this name in his notebook, putting the finger of his other hand on his chin, "Interesting."

"I wonder if we will learn more about them in the future showings of this universe." Double D wondered.

"Don't worry. You will learn more about them." Q replied, already looking forward to see their reaction to seeing whoever was going to play Javik.

"This actually makes me think if we will live long enough for Earth in our world to make contact with any alien races if there are any in our world, considering we don't age." Chronoire wondered.

"Hmm." Kyochiro hummed, "This is actually a very good question. Never thought about it until now to be honest."

Vlad King looked at them with a questioning look on his face, "What are you talking about?"

"We're Witches." Kazane replied, seeing no reason in hiding it from the rest of the audience as it would become known to them sooner or later, "We don't age because of it."

Alcina smirked as she added her part to the explanation, "I'm actually so old that I can call everyone here children."

Ozpin took a sip from his mug, "I wouldn't be so sure about that."

"How?" Mineta asked, "You look like a hot highschool girl!"

"I simply stopped aging." Alcina explained and smirked at Mineta, "I'm hot, you say?"

"I would watch myself if I were you." Kodai said, "From what I've heard from Class A, Mineta-kun is a massive pervert."

"Hey!" Mineta shouted, "I started containing myself after the therapy Mina gave me!"

Mina nodded in confirmation, gladdened her therapy worked on him, "Well, he's not lying."

Alcina leaned forward in interest, looking more interested than disgusted after finding out about Mineta's perversion, "He's a pervert you say? It's always nice to come across a fellow degenerate." She shifted her gaze from Mineta to Kasumi, "Isn't that right, Kasumi-chan?"

"I'm not a pervert!" Kasumi denied.

Alcina just smiled, "Keep telling yourself that."

It was when the camera showed a large ship traveling through space, flying in front of the planet. Then, the camera cut into Y/N walking through the ship.

Ed's eyes lit up in amazement, "Cool."

"What is this ship?" Yang asked.

"It's the Normandy. The ship you will become quite familiar with you the furher we will go into the story of this universe." B explained.

"The Arcturus Prime relay is in range. Initiating transmission sequence." The voice which was quickly recognized as Akira's rang through the audience's ears.

A large smile spread across Sumire's face, "Senpai!"

Ryuji hit Akira in the shoulder, smilling at his friend, "It's you, bro."

"Seems like it." Akira smiled back at him.

"Commander." The unknown soldier said as he and Y/N walked past each other in the corridor.  Y/N proceeded to make his way forward as he walked past a person which was recognized by the audience as Peter Port. Port nodded at him and Y/N nodded back.

Nora quickly recognized one of her teachers, "Professor Port?"

"From working as a teacher to working on a space ship. Not bad." Qrow stated.

Port chuckled,  "I can only imagine the stories this version of myself has after working on a ship like this. I'm sure he would love to tell them to all of our students."

The students of Beacon groaned at the thought of Port sharing another one of his stories from his younger days with them.

"We are connected. Calculating transit mass and destination. The relay is hot. Acquiringapproach vector. All stations secure for transit." Akira said.

Y/N walked towards the cockpit as the ship was shown approaching to the mass relay. Y/N entered the cockpit and stopped next to someone, but the audience couldn't see who it was as the viewing screen didn't show them their face. The camera showed the mass relay, giving the audience a good look at it.

"What is that?" Nora asked.

"It's a mess relay." B replied, "They are mass transit devices scattered across the Milky Way, usually located within certain star systems. They form an enormous galaxy-wide network enabling rapid interstellar travel. A mass relay can transport starships instantaneously to another relay within the network, allowing journeys that would otherwise take years or even centuries with only FTL drives to occur in only a handful of days, or even hours."

Oobleck nodded in an impressed manner, "Truly an amazing technology."

Hatsume rubbed her hands excitedly, "If they have something like this, then I can only imagine what kind of babies this universe has to offer."

"The board is green. Approach run has begun. Hitting the relay in 3...2...1..." Akira counted from three to one before ship was shown making its first trip through a mass relay.

A lot of people in the audience were amazed by what they had just saw on the viewing screen.

"Looks like Akira is the pilot of the Normandy." Makoto stated as Akira smiled, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose.

Morgana smiled, "As excepted of our leader."

"Thrusters, check. Navigation, check. Internal emissions sink engaged. All systems online. Drift...just under 1500 K." Akira said as the camera moved closer to him, showing him sitting in the pilot's seat and revealing someone was sitting next to him, on his right. It was Iida.

Uraraka grabbed Iida by his shoulders and shook him, "Look Iida! It's you!"

"I wonder what kind of role you will, Iida-kun." Izuku looked at his friend with a curious look on his face.

Iida smiled at his friends, "We'll have to wait and see."

"1500 is good. Your captain will be pleased." The alien said.

The people in the audience who recognized this voice immediately turned towards the person after figuring out they were the alien presented on the viewing screen.

"What?" Ryuji exclaimed in suprise.

"Gramps?" Futaba asked with a suprised look on her face.

Akane's eyes snapped open the moment she recognized this voice, "Dad?"

"Me?" Zenkichi exclaimed, "I'm an alien in this universe?"

"Cool." Ed smiled, "An alien."

"Yeah." Jaune nodded in agreement, "I wasn't excepting to see an alien this quickly."

The alien now recongnized as Zenkichi turned away and left the cockpit as Akira looked at Iida.

"I hate that guy." He said when Zenkichi was out of the hearing range.

The Phantom Thieves exchanged amused smiles and laughed, remembering their first encounter with Zenkichi as Zenkichi sighed, remembering his first meeting with them too.

"This reminds me of our first meeting with your, gramps." Ann grinned at Zenkichi.

"Yeah." Zenkichi sighed, "Me too."

"We couldn't help ourselves. We just despise the police is all." Haru said with a sweet smile on her face.

Zenkichi sighed, "How many times do I have to tell you to not say those words with a face like this."

"You should be more respectful towards the authorities." Iida said to the Phantom Thieves, chopping the air, "They are working hard on keeping civilians safe."

Makoto looked at B and Q, "Could you explain to us what spieces is he?"

"Zenkichi is a turian." B explained, "Turians are known for their militaristic and disciplined culture."

"Gramps disciplined?" Ryuji and his fellow Phanton Thieves chuckled in amusement as Izuku and Double D wrote this information about turians in their notebooks, "I would love to see that."

"It is another version of him, after all." Yusuke stated, "Perharps this version of gramps is different from ours."

"Hey!" Zenkichi shouted, "I changed my approach to work, you know!"

"We know, gramps." Akira smiled at Zenkichi, "We're just messing with you."

"Right the one time when you tricked me into thinking that I was telling myself that you called me dad?" Zenkichi asked.

Zenkichi asked as the Phantom Thieves laughed, remembering this one prank they pulled off on him.

"Zenkichi gave you a compliment...so you hate him?" Iida asked.

"You remember to zip your jumpsuit on the way out of the bathroom? That's good. I justjumped us halfway across the galaxy and hit a target the size of a pinhead. So that'sincredible. Besides, Spectres are trouble. I don't like having him on board. Call me paranoid." Akira explained why he disliked Zenkichi to Iida.

"A Spectre?" This term raised many confusion from the audience as it was their first time hearing it.

"Special Tactics and Reconnaissance." B began his explanation, "They are agents entrusted with extraordinary authority by the, including the power of life and death over the inhabitants of the galaxy. They form an elite group selected from a number of different species, and their primary responsibility is to preserve galactic stability by whatever means necessary."

"Damnnn." Ryuji said, letting out a impressed whistle.

"Seems like this Spectre is a very honorary title to have." Yusuke stated.

"I wonder what kind of stuff had to do to earn this some sort title." Makoto wondered.

Akane smiled, "Looks like you've been doing your job well in this universe."

"Seems like it." Zenkichi smiled back at her.

"Could this have been why they were talking about young L/N at the start?" All Might wondered, "They want him to become a spectre?"

"You're paranoid." Iida replied, "The Council helped fund this project. They have a right to send someone to keep an eye on their investment."

Iida agreed with this version of himself, "He's not wrong."

"So the other species formed a council?" Scarlet asked.

"Not suprised." Futaba said, "A common sci-fi trope."

Jaune nodded in agreement, "Yeah."

"Yeah, that is the official story. But only an idiot believes the official story." Akira replied.

Y/N crossed his arms, "They don't send Spectres on shakedown runs."

Asui put her hand on her chin, "It is true, ribbit. They wouldn't send someone with an important title like for a mission if it wasn't important."

"Perharps this has to do with something about the conversation we were shown at the start." Ren theorized.

"You're right." Double D agreed with him, "Perharps they were talking about making Y/N a Spectre?"

"So there's more going on here than the captain's letting on." Akira stated.

"Joker. Status report." Ozpin's voice sounded through the comms.

"No way." Ryuji said, "Akira is called Joker in this universe too?"

"Some things never change, I suppose." Haru stated, "Even in another universe."

"I wonder if the alternate version of ourselves from this universe, if they will make an appearance will have the same codenames too." Futaba wondered.

"I can see why he was chosen to be Joker." Q whispered to B.

"Yeah. Me too." B nodded at her, "I think I know who will play EDI now."

"Seems like Ozpin is the captain of the Normandy." Tai said.

"Not suprised." Goodwitch stated.

Ozpin took a sip from his mug, "Interesting."

"Just cleared the mass relay, Captain. Stealth systems engaged. Everything looks solid." Akira replied.

"Good." Ozpin replied, "Find a comm buoy and link us into the network. I want mission reports relayed back toAlliance brass before we reach Eden Prime."

"Aye, aye, Captain." Akira nodded, "Better brace yourself, sir. I think Zenkichi is headed your way."

"He's already here, Lieutenant." Ozpin replied as Akira shook his head.

Many people in the audience, even those who were related to the Phantom Thieves in any way, couldn't help but chuckle upon seeing Akira's reaction. Zenkichi himself let out a long sigh.

"...Tell Commander L/N to meet me in the comm room for a debriefing." Ozpin finished what he was saying.

Akira looked over his shoulder to look at Y/N, "You get that, Commander?"

"He sounds angry. Something must have gone wrong with the mission." Y/N stated, turning away from where Akira and Iida were sitting.

Akira let out a humorless laugh, "Pff. Captain always sounds like that when he's talking to me."

"I can't possibly imagine why." Iida stated.

Y/N started to make his way towards the comm romm, making his way through the command deck.

"I'm telling you, I just saw him! He marched by like he was on a mission." He overheard Port voice his thoughts about this mission being something more to someone.

Oobleck looked at Port, "It seems like you have the same thoughts about the Spectre being on the board of the Normandy as the pilot."

"I can't blame the other myself for having thoughts like this." Port said, "I'm certain many people gathered here are thinking the same thing right now."

"He's a Spectre. They're always on a mission." The voice which belonged to Hōka Inumuta replied through the comms from some other part of the ship.

Uzu looked at Inumuta, "Looks like you're part of the crew."

"I'm not suprised." Inumuta shrugged, "If I'm as skilled with computers as I am in our world, then someone like me is certainly needed on a spaceship."

Ryuko rolled her eyes, "Humble as ever."

"And we're getting dragged right along with him!" Port stated.

"Damn." Qrow said, "Take a chill pill, Port."

"Perharps this version of myself is getting a little too paranoid about it." Port admitted.

"Relax, Port." Inumuta replied, "You're going to give yourself an ulcer."

Y/N walked past Port and continued to make his way towards the comm room. As he neared his destination, he could overhear the soldier from earlier talking with an eldery woman which was recognized by the U.A staff and students as Recovery Girl.

All Might looked at Recovery Girl and smiled down at her, "There is no good team of a ship without a good doctor on board."

Recovery Girl smiled back at him, "Of course. Who else would be patching up their wounds after missions."

Present Mic gave All Might a pat on his shoulder, "Couldn't have said that better myself, All Might."

Awase narrowed his eyes at the guy Recovery Girl was talking with, "Who is the guy next to her?"

"It's not anyone you know." Q replied, "His name is Jenkins."

"I grew up on Eden Prime, Doc." Jenkins said to Recovery Girl, "It's not the kind of place Spectres visit. There's something Zenkichi isn't telling us about this mission."

"Eden Prime?" Pyrrha recalled the name, "Isn't that the planet which was mentioned by Headmaster Ozpin earlier?"

Weiss nodded in confirmation, "Yes."

"Maybe this will be a good opportunity for Y/N to ask him about Eden Prime?" Izuku asked, "This way he could learn more about the planet they're heading towards."

"You just want to learn more about this." Iida smiled at him.

Uraraka smiled, "That's our Midoriya-kun."

Izuku smiled back at them in a embarassed manner.

"That's crazy." Recovery Girl stated, "The captain's in charge here. He wouldn't take orders from a Spectre."

"Not his choice, Doc." Jenkins replied, "Spectres don't answer to anyone. They can do whatever they want. Kill anyone who gets in their way."

"Spectres really have a lot of freedom in their actions." Vlad Kind stated.

"I guess they need to have such freedom in their actions when it comes to keeping the galaxy safe." Sae stated.

"I just hope none of those Spectres will take advantage of this to do heinous acts." All Might stated. Many people in the audience agreed with him, knowing how big trouble it would mean for everyone if a Spectre went rogue.

"Ha!" Recovery Girl laughed, "You watch too many spy vids, Jenkins."

Sage raised his brow at the unknown name, "Vids?"

"This is how movies are called in this universe." B explained.

Jenkins shifted his gaze from Recovery Girl to Y/N and saluted to him, "What do you think, Commander? We won't be staying on Eden Prime too long, will we? I'm itching for some real action!"

"I see." Winter nodded in understanding, realizing what kind of character Jenkins, "A young soldier who is more than eager to fight." She shook her head, letting out a sigh, "Young soldiers like him are pretty common in the army."

Ironwood nodded in agreement, letting out a sigh, "It usually doesn't end well for them."

"I sincerely hope you're kidding, Corporal. Your 'real action' usually ends with me patching upcrew members in the infirmary." Recovery Girl told him.

Recovery Girl nodded in agreement, her mind immediately flying to the many times when she had to patch up Izuku, "Ain't that the truth, other me?"

"You need to calm down, Corporal." Y/N agreed with Recovery Girl, "A good soldier stays cool, even under fire."

Winter nodded in approval, "Smart words."

"Sorry, Commander." Jenkins apologized, "But this waiting's killing me. I've never been on a mission like thisbefore. Not one with a Spectre on board."

"What can you tell me about Zenkichi?" Y/N asked.

"Turians are generally well-respected by the other species." Recovery Girl started her answer, "Their fleet has more patrolsprotecting Citadel space than any other. They don't always get on well with us, though. Some people find them too rigid. Others still blame them for the First Contact War. As for Zenkichi, I haven't said more than two words to him. He usually only speaks to the captain."

"First contact war?" Midnight asked.

"It seems like our first contact with the alien spieces didn't went well." Aizawa stated.

"I feel like we and the turians don't like each other because of it." Thirteen stated.

"I heard Zenkichi once took down an entire enemy platoon all by himself." Jenkins said excitedly, "Man, I can't believeI'm on a mission with an actual Spectre!"

"An entire enemy platoon by himself?" Ann asked with an impressed look on her face.

"Damn." Ryuji whistled with an impressed look on his face, "This version of gramps is so badass. I can't wait to see him in action."

"Hey!" Zenkichi shouted, "I can be badass too, you know!"

Futaba nodded, "Sure you can, gramps."

"You're from Eden Prime, aren't you Jenkins? What's it like?" Y/N asked.

Izuku and Double D leaned towards the screen, eager to learn more about Eden Prime as their friends chuckled in amusement. They weren't the only ones. A few more people in the audience were curious to learn more about Eden Prime as well.

"It's very peaceful, Commander." Jenkins replied, "They've been real careful with development, so you don'thave any city noise or pollution. My parents lived on the outskirts of the colony. At night, Iused to climb this big hill and stare across the fields back at the lights from the mainsettlement. It was gorgeous. But when I got older, I realized it was a little too calm and quiet for me. That's why I joined the Alliance. Even paradise gets boring after a while.

"This is what he joined the military?" Goodwitch said, "He's just looking for a good fight?"

"Looks like it." Ozpin nodded.

Ironwood shook his head, "I hope this desire of his won't get him killed."

"Any idea why Eden Prime was chosen as our destination?" Y/N asked him another question.

"Not really sure, Commander. Eden Prime's one of our most stable colonies. Good place totake the Normandy for her shakedown run, I guess. No real danger there." Jenkins replied, "But there's got tobe something else going on. We've got a Spectre on board! That's why I'm so wound up. Ican't wait for the real mission to start!"

Ryuko rubbed the back of her head, "Why do I have bad feeling about this?"

"You're not the only one." Eddy agreed with her, "They keep talking about how peaceful this Eden Prime is. It's like they're trying to tell us something will go wrong."

"At least the shitty nerd isn't the one to jinx them this time." Bakugo stated as Izuku lowered his head, remembering what the other version of him did in the previous universe they watched.

"Just treat this like every other assignment you've had and everything'll work out." Y/N advised him.

"Easy for you to say." Jenkins stated, "You proved yourself on Akuze. Everybody knows what you can do. Thisis my big chance. I need to show the brass what I can do!"

"You're young, Corporal. You have a long career ahead of you. Don't do something stupid tomess it up." Y/N told the the young eager soldier.

Jenkins gave him another salute, "Don't worry, sir. I'm not going to screw this up."

"The captain's waiting for me." Y/N said his farewell to them, turning away from them.

Recovery Girl nodded at him, "Goodbye, Commander."

Y/N walked away from them and went back to what he was doing a few seconds earlier. He entered the comm room a few seconds later and Zenkichi stopped watching a picture of Eden Prime from theprojector in front of him and turned around to greet Y/N.

"Commander L/N." He nodded at him, "I was hoping you'd get here first. It will give us a chance to talk."

"What about?" Y/N asked.

"I'm interested in this world we're going to — Eden Prime." Zenkichi revealed, "I've heard it'squite beautiful."

"They say it's a paradise." Y/N replied.

"Yes... a paradise. Serene. Tranquil. Safe. Eden Prime has become something of a symbolfor your people, hasn't it?" Zenkichi replied, "Proof that humanity can not only establish colonies across thegalaxy, but also protect them. But how safe is it, really?"

"Do you know something?" Y/N asked.

"Your people are still newcomers, L/N. The galaxy can be a very dangerous place. Is theAlliance truly ready for this?" Zenkichi replied with a question of his own.

It was when Ozpin arrived at the comm room, "I think it's about time we told the commander what's really going on."

"Is it just me or does Headmaster Ozpin look weird in those clothes?" Yang asked.

Coco nodded in agreement, "You're not the only one."

Goodwitch opened her mouth to say something to them about keeping their comments to themselves, but her words got caught in her throat as Ozpin stopped her from saying anything by saying, "Don't. I agree with them."

Qrow shrugged, disappointed by it, "Meh. I was excepting to see him wearing cliche army clothes."

Zenkichi nodded at him and explained, "This mission is far more than a simple shakedown run."

"We already figured that out." Eddy said.

"Yeah." Rinon nodded in agreement, "It was obvious."

"I figured there was something you weren't telling us." Y/N revealed he already had thoughts about this mission being something more to them.

"We're making a covert pick-up on Eden Prime. That's why we needed the stealth systemsoperational." Ozpin explained the mission to Y/N.

Y/N looked at him, "There must be a reason you didn't tell me about this, sir."

"This comes down from the top, Commander." Ozpin replied, "Information strictly on a need-to-know basis. A research team on Eden Prime unearthed some kind of beacon during an excavation. It was Prothean."

"Prothean?" Pyrrha asked, "Isn't that the name of a species whose ruins have been found by the humanity?"

Blake nodded in confirmation, "Yes."

"What about this beacon, though?" Kasumi wondered, "Could this beacon be the technology which allowed humanity to advance their technology to the point we see it right now?"

"I thought the Protheans vanished 50 000 years ago." Y/N stated.

"Their legacy still remains." Zenkichi replied, "The mass relays, the Citadel, our ship drives -- it's all based onProthean technology."

"This is big, L/N." Ozpin added, "The last time humanity made a discovery like this, it jumped ourtechnology forward two hundred years. But Eden Prime doesn't have the facilities to handlesomething like this. We need to bring the beacon back to the Citadel for proper study."

"Are we excepting trouble?" Y/N asked.

"I'm always excepting trouble." Zenkichi replied.

"There's more, L/N." Ozpin replied, "Zenkichi wants to see you in action, Commander. He's here to evaluate you."

"So they do want to make him a Spectre." Kevin said.

Y/N looked at him with a questioning look on his face, "What's going on, Captain?

"The Alliance has been pushing for this for a long time. Humanity wants a larger role inshaping interstellar policy. We want more say with the Citadel Council. The Spectresrepresent the Council's power and authority. If they accept a human into their ranks, it show far the Alliance has come." Ozpin explained.

"Not many could have survived what you went through on Akuze." Zenkichi added, "You showed a remarkablewill to live — a particularly useful talent. That's why I put your name forward as a candidate for the Spectres."

"Seems like I was right." Thirteen said, "We don't like each other with the turians after the events of the first contact war."

"Why would a turian want a human in the Spectres?" Y/N asked.

"Why is Y/N so confused about it?" Maruki asked, "The humanity doesn't have a Spectre, yet?"

"No. It doesnt't." B replied, "They want Y/N to become the first Spectre in humanity's history."

"Not all turians resent humanity. Some of us see the potential of your species. We see whatyou have to offer to the rest of the galaxy." Zenkichi replied, "To the Spectres. We are an elite group. It's rare to find an individual with the skills we seek. I don't care thatyou're human, L/N. I only care that you can do the job.

"I assume this is good for the Alliance." Y/N stated as he looked at Ozpin.

"Earth needs this, L/N. We're counting on you." Ozpin replied.

"I need to see your skills for myself." Zenkichi added, "Eden Prime will be the first of several missions together."

"Will this universe be about Y/N and gramps going on the Spectre missions together?" Yusuke asked.

"If so, you can sing me up." Ryuji said, "With Akira as their pilot, nothing in those Spectre missions will stand in their way."

"A shame you won't be there with them." Morgana said, "I doubt they would put someone of your intelligence on board of the Normandy."

Ryuji glared at him, "Shut up, cat."

"You'll be in charge of the ground team." Ozpin explained Y/N's part of the mission to him, "Secure the beacon and get it onto the ship ASAP. Zenkichi will accompany you to observe the mission."

Y/N nodded in understanding and asked, "What do you know about the Protheans?"

Izuku and Double D immediately turned pages in their notebooks to the pages which were about Protheans, eager to learn more about the mysterious spieces. Everyone who were interested in learning more about the Protheans

"Just what they taught us in school." Ozpin replied, "They were a technologically-advanced species that rulesthe galaxy 50 000 years ago. Then they vanished. Nobody really knows how or why, thoughI've heard plenty of theories. But everyone agrees galactic civilization wouldn't exist withoutthem."

"They just vanished?" Scarlet asked.

Sero rubbed the back of his head, "Is it possible for an entire race, especially this advanced, to just vanish?"

"Perharps there is something the other races don't know about them." Kendo theorized.

"Perharps they just faced excintion." Reiko said, "Every race, no matter how advanced they are might end up facing it."

"It doesn't seem like they will find out about what happened to them anytime soon." Monoma said, "I doubt a living Prothean will just appear out of nowhere and tell them what happened to their race."

B and Q exchanged glances and grins with each other. Even though she couldn't see his face because of his mask, Q knew B was grinning right now.

"Their Citadel is the very heart of galactic society." Zenkichi added, "And without their mass relays, interstellartravel would be impossible. We all owe the Protheans a great debt."

"Captain!" Akira's voice sounded through the comms, "We've got a problem."

Ozpin looked over to the source of the voice, "What's wrong, Joker?"

"Transmission from Eden Prime, sir." Akira's voice betrayed something must have been happening on Eden Prime right now, "You better see this!"

"I knew it." Kaminari nodded, "They jinxed it with their talking about how normal and peaceful Eden Prime is."

"Everyone knew it." Monoma pointed out.

Y/N, Ozpin and Zenkichi looked at the screen as alliance members were shown to be under attack. A female soldier clad in a white armor was showing running towards the screen.

"Get down!" She shouted, turning out to be Makoto Niijima

"Makoto?" Ann's eyes widened when she saw Makoto on the screen.

"Me?" Makoto asked, amazed to see herself on the screen.

"It doesn't seem like the situation on Eden Prime is good." Sojiro stated.

Sae grew worried for her sister after seeing the sitaution the other version of her younger sister was in right now.

The camera showed her firing her weapon an unseen enemy, followed by images of a ship. It was when the person holding turned the camera around, showing his face to it.

"We are under attack! Taking heavy casualties. I repeat: heavy casualties! We can't...argh!--eed evac! They came out of nowhere. We need..." The officer never got to finish what he was saying as he was hurt by an unseen enemy. Other soldiers staredastonished at a ship. Thecamera shows its image and was followed by a grey screen.

"Everything cuts out after that." Akira explained, "No comm traffic at all. Just goes dead. There's nothing."

"Reverse and hold at 38.5." Ozpin ordered and Akira did as he was told. He froze the image, showing the legs of an unknown ship to Y/N, Ozpin and Zenkichi.

"It must be the ship the attackers had arrived at Eden Prime." Ectoplasm said.

"Look at their faces. They look suprised." Sojiro stated.

Medusa nodded in agreement, "From the looks on their faces, it doesn't seem like they recognize what kind of ship this is."

"Whoever is attacking Eden Prime right now could have used a new type of ship the other spieces, except for the spieces responsible for the attack, haven't seen until now." Aizawa stated.

"Great theory, Eraser." Ms. Joke said, "How about me and you get married?"

"No." Aizawa replied.

"Status report." Ozpin said.

"Seventeen minutes out, Captain." Akira replied, "No other Alliance ships in the area."

"Take us in, Joker. Fast and quiet." Ozpin ordered, "This mission just got a lot more complicated."

"You don't say?" Bakugo asked.

"A small strike team can move quickly without drawing attention. It's our best chance tosecure the beacon." Zenkichi stated.

Ozpin shifted his gaze from the image to Zenkichi, "Grab your gear and meet us in the cargo hold." As Zenkichi turned away and walked out of the comm room, Ozpin shifted his gaze to Y/N, "Tell Iida and Jenkins to suit up, Commander. You're going in."

The scene cut into the Normandy heading towards Eden Prime. It reached it destination a few seconds later and was shown flying above the ground, getting the audience the first good look at Eden Prime.

Maruki leaned closer to the screen, taking a good look at Eden Prime, "I can see why we choose it as one of our colonies."

Sojiro nodded in agreement, "It looks like Earth for the most part. The red sky is what concerns me, though. Is this something natural on this planet?"

"It might be." Goodwitch said, "Or it might be a result of the attack."

"Your team's the muscle in this operation, Commander. Go in heavy and head straight for thedig site." Ozpin briefed Y/N, Iida, and Jenkins before the mission in the Normandy's cargobay. Zenkichi is present as well.

"What about survivors, Captain?" Iida asked.

"We can't abandon survivors. This is our duty to save them." Iida said as if he was the one talking with Ozpin right now.

"Dude." Kaminari looked at him in amusement, "You know he is not talking directly to you but to the other version of you, right?"

Iida lowered his head in embarassment, "I'm sorry."

Uraraka and Izuku just smiled at their friend, patting him on his shoulders.

"Helping survivors is a secondary objective. The beacon's your top priority." Ozpin replied.

"Approaching drop point one." Akira's voice sound through the comms.

Jenkins looked at Zenkichi, "Zenkichi, you're coming with us?"

"I move faster on my own." Zenkichi replied as he quickly inspected his shotgun before running towards the exit and jumping out of the Normandy.

"Is it a good idea?" Akane said in worry, "They don't know what is attacking Eden Prime right now. The enemy might be too dangerous for my dad to go without any support."

"Don't worry, Akane." Makoto assured her, "From what we've heard, this version of your dad is able of wiping out entire groups of opponents. I'm sure he will handle whatever is attacking Eden Prime right now."

"Exactly, Akane." Zenkichi smiled at his daughter, "I'm sure this version of me will be fine."

"Zenkichi will scout out ahead. He'll feed you status reports throughout the mission; otherwise, Iwant radio silence." Ozpin explained.

Y/N nodded at Ozpin, "We've got his back, Captain."

"The mission's yours now, L/N. Good luck." Ozpin replied as the Normandy landed on Eden Prime.

"We are approaching drop point two." Akira revealed.

The Normandy was shown stopped in one place and the scene cut into Y/N, Iida and Jenkins standing together on the ground in their amors after getting dropped off by the Normandy.

"This place got hit hard, Commander. Hostiles everywhere. Keep your guard up." Zenkichi told them through the comms.

As the squad of three moved forward themselves, it didn't took them and the audience long to notice strange looking forms moving around them.

"What are those things?" Sato asked.

"They must be animals native to this planet." Koda stated.

"Are they dangerous?" Jimmy asked.

"If they were dangerous, I doubt they would be allowed to walk freely this close to the human colony." Eddy replied.

"What the hell are those?" Iida asked.

Many of Iida's classmates laughed upon hearing him say something like this as Iida ducked his head in embarassment.

Tokage looked at them with a weirded out expression on her face, "What's so funny about it?"

"Nothing." Mina laughed, "It's just funny to see our Class Rep say something like this. Imagine your reaction to it if Kodai-san or Shiozaki-san were in Iida's place."

"Gas bags. Don't worry — they're harmless." Jenkins replied.

Koda hummed, wondering if he would be able to talk with them through his Quirk.

Now knowing the life forms were not harmless, the squad of three turned to left where they could spot the only path in the area and moved towards it. They walked along the path for a few seconds, walking past a few burned corpses.

Komachi gasped, "Those poor people."

Nazz looked disturbed by the view of those burned bodies, "What happened to them?"

"The attackers must be responsible for it." Tokage stated, feeling a wave of anger go through her body.

"Whatever happened, I hope they didn't went through much pain." Pyrrha said.

Ibara clasped her hands together, hoping those people didn't went through much pain in their final moments, "May they rest in peace."

"Oh god. What happened here?" Jenkins asked.

"Smells like smoke and death." Iida stated.

Y/N held his hand up, signalling Iida and Jenkins to stop. Iida and Jenkins stopped as Y/N made signs to position the squad. Iida and Jenkins nodded and moved towards their positions. Jenkins went past a corner and a couple of drones fell out of the corner in the distance. Jenkins tried to react to this sudden attack, but unfortunely it was already too late for him to do anything. He got hit multiple times by drones and his body collapsed on the ground.

Ironwood and Winter lowered their heads, having excepted this to happen after seeing how eager Jenkins was for some action. A lot of young soldiers who looked for a good fight like him ended up like this.

Qrow took a sip from his flask, "Poor guy."

"Perharps he is not dead." Ruby said, "Maybe those shots just wounded him."

"I doubt he survived, Ruby." Tai said to his daughter, "No one would survive this many shots without an aura."

Ruby sighed sadly, knowing her dad was right.

Y/N and Iida immediately reached to this sudden attack and opened fire at the drones after taking cover behind some giant rocks. It didn't took them long to destroy the drones. After making sure every drone in the area was destroyed, they made their way to Jenkins next to check if he was still alive or if he succumbed to his wounds.

Iida checked Jenkins' pulse and looked at Y/N, shaking his head, "Ripped right through his shields. Never had a chance."

A lot of people in the audience stared sadly at the viewing screen in front of them, feeling sorry for the young soldier who was talking with Y/N about how excited he was about going on a mission with a Spectre a few moments earlier.

Y/N nodded in understanding, giving Jenkins lifeless body a quick glance as he was visibly saddened by the demise of one of his squadmates, "We'll see that he receives a proper service once the mission is complete. But I need you to stay focused."

"Good to know he cares about the soldiers under his command." Winter said, knowing it was one of the things which made a great leader as Ironwood nodded in agreement. Ozpin and Goodwitch seemed to approve of his words too.

Iida nodded, "Aye, aye, sir."

The two of them moved further along the path, leaving Jenkins's body behind for now. As walked up the hill, a few more drones flied out of the corner and tried to attack them, but fortunely Y/N and Iida managed to strike back in time and got rid of the threat rather quickly.

"I've got some burned out buildings here, L/N. A lot of bodies. I'm going to check it out.I'll try to catch up with you at the dig site." Zenkichi told Y/N through the comms as Y/N and Iida moved along the path the drones came from, destroying a few more of them in the process.

As Iida and Y/N neared the edge of the cliff, the scene cut into Makoto running away from a couple of drones.

Sae felt a wave of relief go through her body after seeing how her sister survived whatever was happening in the video the Normandy received from her and her squadmates.

Haru seemed relieved to see her friend on the screen again, "Makoto!"

"She's alive." Ann smiled to relief.

Makoto threw herself on the ground and pulled out her weapon, shooting down the drones chasing her. It wasn't over, though. The camera cut to the two walking machines which were holding one unfortunate human in one place for some reason.

"What are those?" Sumire asked.

"Those things looks like robots." Natsume stated.

"They must be one of the attackers, just like the drones we've seen earlier." Yatsuhashi stated.

It was when the spikes rose up from the ground and pierced the unfortunate human, lifting him up above the ground.

A lot of people in the audience were horrified by what just happened.

Neptune's eyes widened, "Damn."

Pyrrha shook her head with an angered look on her face, "Those things just waited for it to happen."

"They're going to pay for what they've done." Yang said, clenching her hand.

Seeing this, Makoto quickly turned away from the geth and quickly took cover behind a giant rock. The two geth heard something move not too far from them and moved towards where Makoto was hiding as Makoto pulled out her machine rifle, readying herself to use it on them. Before the geth could find her, Y/N and Iida came running down from the hill and quickly took care of the two geth before they could do harm.

"Thanks for your help, Commander." Makoto told Y/N in a grateful tone as she turned to look at him and Iida, "I didn't think I was going to make it. Gunnery Chief Makoto Niijima of the 212. You the one in charge here, sir?"

"Are you wounded, Niijima?" Y/N asked.

"A few scrapes and burns. Nothing serious. The others weren't so lucky. Oh man..." Makoto replied and turned away from Y/N and Iida, beginning to pace back and forth, clerly unnerved by what was just happening. She pointed towars where she came from as Y/N and Iida looked to where she was pointing towards, "We were patrolling the perimeter when the attack hit. Wetried to get off a distress call, but they cut off our communications.I've been fighting for my life ever since."

"We tried to double back to the beacon. But we walked into an ambush. I don't think any ofthe others.... I think I'm the only one left." Makoto replied, lowering her gaze to the ground in a saddened manner.

Ironwood and Winter looked at her in sympathy, knowing how it felt like because of them being military people.

"She shouldn't blame herself for what happened to her comrades." Ironwood said, remembering how the other version of himself in the previous universe blamed himself for getting his soldiers killed, "From what we've seen on the video, they were doing everything they could do against this suprise attack."

"This isn't your fault, Niijima. You couldn't have done anything to save them." Y/N assured her.

"Yes, sir." Makoto nodded, "We held our position as long as we could. Until the geth overwhelmed us."

"The geth haven't been seen outside the Veil in nearly 200 years. Why are they here now?" Iida wondered.

"They were in one place for this many years?" Yusuke asked.

"Rolf wonders what made those mechinal devils come out of their shelter after so long." Rolf wondered.

"Probably the discovery of the Prothean Beacon." Weiss stated, paying no attention to how weirdly Rolf said those words, "From what we learned earlier, they must have a great value to the other spieces."

"They must have come for the beacon. The dig site is close. Just over that rise. It might stillbe there." Makoto answered.

"We could use your help, Niijima." Y/N offered Makoto to join him and Iida.

"Aye, aye, sir." Makoto nodded, "It's time for payback."

"What else do you know about the geth?" Y/N asked.

Izuku and Double D quickly turned to the empty pages in their notebooks, more than ready to write the information about the geth.

"Just what I remember from history class back in school." Makoto replied, "They're synthetics. Non-organic lifeforms with limited AI programming created by the quarians a few centuries ago. They were supposed to be a source of cheap labor, but ended up turning on the quarians and drove them into exile. After that, they just kind of disappeared behind the Perseus Veil. Nobody's really heard much from them since."

"I see." Futaba nodded, "They pulled a Terminator on their creators, making them leave their home planet and ditched everything and everyone from 200 years."

"Quarians?" Double D said, "I wonder if we will see someone from this place. I would like to learn more what about happened when the geth turned against them."

"Same here." Izuku nodded in agreement, looking down at his notebook after making two new pages, one dedicated to geth and the other one dedicated to quarians. A few more people in the audience voiced their in interest in learning more about it too.

"I wonder what made them return after so many years of absence, though." Uraraka wondered.

"It most likely has something to do with the Prothean Beacon." Asui did her normal gesture, "From what we learned, those beacons must be really valued among all the races, ribbit."

Akira looked at Sophia, "You ain't going to do something like this on us, right?"

"No." Sophia shook her head with a smile, "It is my duty to be humanity's companion and I won't abandon it."

Penny looked at Sophia with a curious look on her face, "You're not a human?"

"Yes." Sophia confirmed with a nod of her head, "I'm an AI created to be humanity's companion. Why are you asking?"

"I was just curious." Penny lied, knowing she had to keep her secret, "I'm a normal meat person, just like the rest of people here."

Her words and the way she referred to herself got a lot of stares from the audience as Ironwood, Winter and Ruby tensed up.

Y/N nodded in understanding and asked her another question, "Have you seen a turian Spectre around here?"

"There aren't any turians on Eden Prime." Makoto replied, "None that I've ever met. Not sure I'd be able to tell ifone was a Spectre, anyway."

"If you saw this guy, you'd know." Iida stated, "Carries enough firepower to wipe out a whole platoon.Luckily, he's on our side."

"Sorry. Like I said, no turians." Makoto repeated her answer from earlier.

"Move out!" Y/N declared, having nore more questions for her,

Makoto nodded in understanding, "The beacon's at the far end of this trench."

The squad, now accompanied by Makoto, moved towards where the dig site where Makoto told them the beacon would be. As the neared their destination, they could see a few geth troopers standing around the dig site. Not wanting to approach the dig site with the geth troopers split up around it, Y/N pulled out his sniper rifle and quickly took out each geth trooper in the area.

After making sure all of the geths in the area were dead, the squad of three entered the dig site and quickly noticed the thing they came here for was gone.

"Where is it?" Kaminari asked after seeing the dig site was empty.

"Someone must have taken it." Ojiro stated.

"Who do you think took it?" Komori asked.

"I hope it wasn't the geth." Pony said. Many people in the audience agreed with her.

Makoto looked towards where the beacon was supposed to be, "This is the dig site. The beacon was right here. It must have been moved."

"By who? Our side? Or the geth?" Iida asked.

"Hard to say." Makoto replied, "Maybe we'll know more after we check out the research camp."

Y/N looked at Makoto, "You think anyone got out of here alive?"

"If they were lucky. Maybe hiding up in the camp." Makoto replied, gesturing towards the path leading up the hill, "It's just at the top of this ridge. Up theramps."

"Change of plans, L/N." Zenkichi's voice rang through the comms as Y/N, Makoto and Iida moved up the hill, "There's a small spaceport up ahead. I want to check it out. I'llwait for you there."

Upon reaching the top of the hill, the squad of three quickly noticed a few burned bodies impaled on the spikes.

The audience just stared sadly at the people who met their end this way.

"Why do all of those bodies look so burned?" Sun asked.

Fox put his hand on his chin, "Could those spikes be burning the person's body after killing them?"

Makoto took a look around the camp, "Looks like they hit the camp hard."

"It's a good place for an ambush. Keep your guard up." Iida said as the spikes with pierced human bodies at the center lowered themselves to the ground. The human bodies were freed from being impaled by the spikes, beginning to move, "Oh, god! They're still alive!"

The entire audience was completely taken by suprise when the bodies started moving after they were freed from the spikes which were keeping them above the ground for all this time.

Haru's eyes widened in suprise, "What?"

"How?" Mei asked.

Ibara shook her head, "Those poor people can't be in peace even after their death."

"What did the geth do to them?" Makoto asked.

"Exactly!" A few people in the audience voiced their agreement with her question.

"They look like a bunch of zombies." Tokage stated, making Class A remember their little incident with the zombie virus Quirk.

Ed's eyes lit up in excitement, "Zombies?"

The husks moved towards the squad of three and Y/N, Iida and Makoto wasted no time and quickly opened fire at them, managing to kill what was once again before they could reach them. After taking care of them, the squad of three quickly moved towards the nearby shack and Y/N quickly decrypted it. He walked into the shack and inside he was two people, a man and a woman.

All Might smiled in relief, "Good to know more people managed to survive this attack."

The woman looked at him with a relieved look on her face, "Humans! Thank the Maker!"

"Hurry! Close the door! Before they come back!" The man shouted in alarm, moving towards Y/N.

"Don't worry. We'll protect you." Y/N assured them.

"Thank you. I think we'll be okay now. It looks like everyone's gone." The woman said.

Makoto walked over to Y/N's side, recognizing the woman in front of her, "You're Dr. Warren, the one in charge of the excavation. Do you know what happened to thebeacon?"

"It was moved to the spaceport this morning." Dr. Warren replied.

A lot of people in the audience calmed down after learning the beacon wasn't stolen by the geth.

"Good to know the geth weren't the ones who moved it." Hagakure said as she one was one of those relieved people.

"...Manuel and I stayed behind to help pack up thecamp. When the attack came, the marines held them off long enough for us to hide. They gave their lives to save us." Dr. Warren finished her answer.

Dr. Manuel shook his head, whispering to himself, "No one is saved. The age of humanity is ended. Soon, only ruin and corpses will remain."

"What is he talking about?" Neptune asked.

"This is probably just some rambling." Recovery Girl stated, "Many people tend to ramble words that don't make any sense after surviving something like this and seeing what they saw during all of this."

"What else can you tell me about the attack?" Y/N asked.

"It all happened so fast. One second we were gathering up our equipment. The next we werehiding in the shed while the geth swarmed over the camp." Dr. Warren replied.

"Agents of the destroyers. Bringers of darkness. Heralds of our extinction..." Dr. Manuel continued to whisper to himself which didn't went unnoticed by Y/N and his squad.

A lot of people in the audience were visibly disturbed by his words and a few of them felt a sense of dread go through their bodies. Even Tokoyami, Reiko, Ed and Kuroiro who were known for their love for horror felt slightly disturbed by his rambling.

"It's amazing how his words make perfect sense after you find out about the Reapers." Q whispered to B, making sure the audience won't hear her.

B nodded in agreement, "Yeah."

"We could hear the battle outside." Dr. Warren continued her answer, "Gunfire. Screams. I thought it would never end. Then, everything went quiet. We just sat there, too afraid to move. Until you came along."

"Did you notice a turian in the area?" Y/N asked her another question.

"I saw him." Dr. Manuel replied.

"He saw, gramps?" Ann asked.

"He must be close, then." Yusuke stated.

"...The prophet. Leader of the enemy. He was here, before the attack." Dr. Manuel finished his answer, confusing Y/N and Iida.

"What?" Kirishima asked.

"The leader of the enemy?" TetsuTetsu asked.

"I see." Yusuke said, "It wasn't gramps, then."

"At least we now have the suspect to who is leading this attack." Kodai said.

"That's impossible." Iida voiced his confusion, "Zenkichi was with us on the Normandy before the attack. He couldn't have been here."

"I'm sorry." Dr. Warren apologized for Dr. Manuel, "Manuel's still a bit...unsettled. We haven't seen your turian. We've been hiding in here since the attack."

"What's wrong with your assistant?" Y/N wanted to know.

"Manuel has a brilliant mind, but he's always been a bit...unstable. Genius and madness are two sides of the same coin." Dr. Warren replied.

Power Loader nodded, "Ain't that the truth?"

Hatsume looked at him, "I feel like this was directed right at me, Sensei."

"Because it was." Power Loader replied, "I meant it in a good way."

"Is it madness to see the future? To see the destruction rushing towards us? To understandthere is no escape? No hope? No, I am not mad. I'm the only sane one left!" Dr. Manuel denied.

"I gave him an extra dose of his meds after the attack." Dr. Warren added.

Y/N nodded in understanding and looked over his shoulder at Makoto, "Niijima, take us to the spaceport."

"You can't stop it. Nobody can stop it. Night is falling. The darkness of eternity." Dr. Manuel continued his rambling.

Dr. Warren looked at him, "Hush, Manuel. Go lie down. You'll feel better once the medication kicks in."

Y/N, Iida and Makoto walked out of the shack, beginning to make their way towards their new destination. The scene cut into Zenkichi who was near the spaceport at the moment. He took cover only to emerge from it a second later, aiming his weapon at a nearby turian.

"Wait a second." Weiss leaned closer to the screen to get a better look at the second turian, wanting to make sure if it was really a turian, "Could it be?"

"Yes." Jiro nodded, "It's another turian."

"Looks like the guy rom earlier wasn't just seeing things." Eddy stated.

"Gramps better watch our around him." Akira said, "If the rest of what the guy from earlier said is true, then he doesn't have friendly intentions."

He lowered his weapon a second later, recognizing him, "Enji?"

The U.A staff and students were taken by suprise the moment the name of the other turian was revealed by Zenkichi, everyone who knew Endeavor quickly forgetting what Dr. Manuel said about the other turian being the one leading the attack on Eden Prime.

"Wait a second." Present Mic said with a suprised look on his face, quickly recognizing this voice, "Is that Endeavor?"

All Might leaned closer to the viewing screen to take a better look at it, "When I think about now, he does look like him, but in a turian version."

Todoroki narrowed his eyes at the screen after recognizing his father as the other turian, "What is he doing there?"

"Who is he?" Eddy asked.

"The current number one hero of Japan in our world." Izuku explained, earnind nods of understanding from the members of the audience who wanted to know who Endeavor was, "He's Todoroki-kun's dad."

"To be honest I'm not suprised the current number one hero got the Spectre title in this universe." Shoji stated.

The other turian, now recognized as Enji Todoroki, looked over his shoulder at Zenkichi, "Zenkichi."

"This isn't your mission, Enji. What are you doing here?" Zenkichi asked as Endeavor moved towards him.

Endeavor walked over to Zenkichi and put a hand on his shoulder, "The Council thought you could use some help on this one."

"I wasn't expecting to find the geth here. The situation's bad." Zenkichi replied, buying Endeavor's answer as Endeavor got himself behind him.

Endeavor aimed his gun at Zenkichi, "Don't worry. I've got it under control."

The entire audience was taken by suprise by this, even the people who remembered Dr. Manuel's words about the turian leading the geth were taken by suprise by it.

Akane's eyes widened in worry, "Dad?"

Cementoss' eyes widened in suprise, "What is he doing?"

"He is not going to shot him, isn't he?" Thirteen asked.

"Perharps he spotted some geth in front of Zenkichi?" All Might tried to find a way to justify this version of the current number one hero for aiming his weapon at someone who was apparently colleague.

The audience didn't got to see what happened between Zenkichi and Endeavor next as the scene cut back to the squad right after.

A lot of people in the audience groaned in frustation.

"Come on!" Sun shouted.

"Get back!" Akane shouted, "I need to see what happened to my dad!"

The squad of three was now close to the spaceport. Before they could walk down the hill, something above them caught their attention. They all looked up and were stunned by what they have just noticed. The thing which caught all of their attention was a giant ship with the pointy legs.

A lot people in the audience felt a wave of dread go through their bodies after setting their eyes on the ship. They didn't know why, though. It was just a regular ship. Right?"

"What kind of ship is this?" May asked.

Mei shook her head, "I don't know."

"Look at it's pointy legs." Shinso said, "This is the same ship we have seen on the video of the Normandy earlier."

"So this is what it looks like in full splendor." Yusuke said.

"The design of it isn't so bad to be honest." Tokoyami said, liking the design of this ship.

"You're not the only one who thinks like that." Reiko agreed with him as Kuroiro silently nodded in agreement, "This ship looks spooky."

Velvet raised her brow at Reiko's wording, "Spooky?"

"She likes scary stuff. It's kind of her thing." Shoda explained.

Reiko nodded in confirmation. She met Y/N, thanks to her love for spooky stuff. They met at a convention for horror fans a few months before they applied for U.A. They met when she was browsing through the stuff for the fans of the Blair Witch Project. She remember how suprised she was when Y/N spoke to her for the first time, asking her if she liked the movie because it was one his favourite horror movies. It suprised her, because not make people talked with her without thinking she was weird.

"What is that?" Iida asked, "Off in the distance."

"It's a ship." Makoto replied, "Look at the size of it!"

The ship slowly entered the atmosphere, completely vanishing from everyone's view. The squad moved out right after, having no reason to stay in one place anymore. They moved towards the space port as a few geths which were there right now opened fire at them the moment they appeared in their view. The squad of three took cover behind some debris and returned fire at the geth.

Y/N, Makoto and Iida managed to get rid of the threat a few moments later. Once they made sure there were no more geth in the area, they moved down the hill and walked into the spaceport. It was when they came across an unmoving lifeless body of Zenkichi.

"Commander. It's Zenkichi." Iida confirmed the identify of the deceased turian to Y/N.

Todoroki sighed, lowering his head.

"Dad..." Akane lowered her head sadly, feeling tears form in her eyes as Zenkichi put his hand on her shoulder, letting her know he was still here. She knew it was her real dad, but it still hurt to watch him die.

Ryuji shook his head, "Poor gramps, man."

"Looks like we won't be getting any Spectre action from him." Akira stated solemnly.

"Would our current number one hero really do it, though?" Mina asked, rubbing the back of her head. A lot of her fellow students from U.A agreed with her.

"It's the multiverse we're watching right now, young Ashido." Nezu stated, "The possibilities of it are endless."

"You took those words out my mouth." Q agreed with him as B silently nodded in agreement.

Makoto noticed some movement among the crates in front of them and made sure to quickly let her squadmates know about it, "Something's moving! Over behind those crates!"

Iida and Y/N instantly reacted to her words and aimed their guns towards Makoto was pointing. A man walked into their view a moment later, hands in the air.

"Wait! Don't — don't shoot! I'm one of you! I'm human." He pleaded them not to shot.

"What is he doing there?" Fox asked.

Tai rubbed the back of his head, "He was there for this whole time?"

Present Mic looked at the viewing screen with a questioning look on his face, "How did Endeavor not notice him if he really was there for this whole time?"

"Sneaking up on us like that nearly got you killed!" Y/N pointed out.

"I...I'm sorry. I was hiding. From those creatures. My name's Powell." The man now known as Powell introduced himself to them, "I saw what happened to that turian. The other one shot him."

The U.A staff and students only sighed at the confirmation of Endeavor killing Zenkichi they and the rest of the audience had just received from Powell as Akane and the Phantom Thieves looked at the screen angrily, wanting the turian responsible for killing Zenkichi to pay for what he has done.

"I need to know how Zenkichi died." Y/N told him.

"The other one got here first. He was waiting when your friend showed up. He called him Enji. I think they knew each other. Your friend seemed to relax. He let his guard down...and Enji killed him. Shot him right in the back. I'm just lucky he didn't see me behind the crates." Powell replied.

Honoka's eyes slightly widened, "He really was there for this whole time."

"Talk about luck." Eddy stated, crossing his arms.

Sun nodded in agreement, "He ran out of luck for the next few years."

"Good thing I wasn't in his place." Qrow muttered to himself, knowing his semblance would mess something up and make Endeavor find him.

"We were told a Prothean beacon was brought to the spaceport. What happened to it?" Y/N asked him another question.

"It's over on the other platform. Probably where that guy Enji was headed." Powell replied, "We hopped onthe cargo train right after he killed your friend. I knew that beacon was trouble. Everything'sgone to hell since we found it. First that damn mother ship showed up. Then the attack. Theykilled everyone. Everyone! If I hadn't been behind the crates I'd be dead, too!"

"How come you're the only one who survived? Why didn't anyone else try to hide behind thecrates?" Y/N wanted to know.

"They never had a chance. I...I was already behind the crates when the attack started." Powell replied.

"What?" Goodwitch narrowed her eyes at the screen, "Was he lazing around behind those crates when Eden Prime was attacked?"

"I hope not." Aizawa said, remembering the Garrison Soldiers from the earlier universe they watched, "We already had to deal with one lazy group of people in the previous universe we watched."

"Wait a minute." Iida said, "You were hiding behind the crates before the attack?"

"I...sometimes I need a nap to get through my shift. I sneak off behind the crates to grab fortywinks where the supervisor can't find me." Powell explained.

Winter deadpanned at the screen, "Seriously."

Aizawa shook his head, "What's up with the people being so lazy in the other universes?"

"How unamnly of him." Kirishima shook his head, "He slept during his job and did nothing to help when the geth attacked."

"What else was he supposed to do?" Roman asked him, "He doesn't have a gun from what we're seeing right now and going against those things without a weapon would mean a certain death to him. Use your brain, kid. He did what any other person would do in his situation. He hid."

"You survived because you're lazy?" Makoto asked, her voice a mixture of disbelief and anger.

"If you hadn't snuck off for that nap you'd probably be dead just like all the others." Y/N stated.

"Yeah. Yeah, I guess." Powell nodded, "I don't really want to think about it."

"Tell me about this 'mother ship' you saw." Y/N brought up the matter of the ship he and his squad saw earlier.

Many people in the audience leaned closer to the screen after hearing Y/N ask this question as they were interested in learning about this ship as well.

"I've never seen anything like it before." Powell replied, "It — it was huge. Landed over near that platform. The whole place got dark as it came down. And — and it was making this noise, this — this sound that bored right into your brain. That's what woke me up. The attack came a few minutes later."

"The whole places got dark?" Port asked, "Can a ship do something like this?"

"Perharps it's just another piece of technology this universe has to offer."  Vlad King stated.

"Most likely." Sae nodded in agreement, "We already saw what a mass relay can do. I wouldn't be suprised if one of the races came up with something like that for their ships."

"We need to find that beacon before it's too late." Y/N stated.

"Take the cargo train." Powell said, turning away from them to hide behind the crates again, "That's where the other turian went. I...I can't stay here. I need to getaway from all this."

Not wasting any time, the squad of three quickly moved towards the cargo train Powell had just mentioned. Unfortunely, the road to their destination wasn't easy as there were a lot of geth which were more than ready to end their lives. The nearest geth quickly opened fire at Y/N, Makoto and Iida and the squad of three quickly returned fire.

The squad of three continued to move towards the cargo train, making sure to take care of every geth in their way which wasn't easy in some places as when they neared the cargo train, the geth made sure to use their surroundings as a cover. Y/N, Makoto, Iida quickly moved from one cover to another, killing every geth which was fortunate enough to lean out of it's cover.

They arrived at their destination a few moments later. The cargo train took off towards the site where the beacon was as the came cut again, showing Endeavor who was already there.

Akane glared at Endeavor, "What is he planning now?"

"He may be heading towards the beacon and claim it for the turians." Momo stated.

Iida nodded in agreement, "Why else would he attack Eden Prime?"

"Set the charges. Destroy the entire colony. Leave no evidence that we were here." The rogue Spectre ordered the geth around him.

Many looks of disgust were sent towards Endeavor.

"Bastard." Rinon shook her head.

"Is he really planning to destroy the entire colony?" Touko asked, "Why? His actions already killed so many people."

"He doesn't care about it." Yang stated, looking just as disgusted.

"An action unworthy of a number one hero." Iida shook his head.

Uraraka nodded in agreement, "Good thing our Endeavor isn't like this."

Todoroki clenched his hand, glaring at this version of Endeavor. His father wasn't a saint, but he knew he wouldn't do something like this.

He walked past the geth and walked over to one thing in front of him. He lifted his head up to look up at the thing in front of them. It was when the camera showed the audience everything from the side, giving them a good look at Endeavor and the thing he was looking at right now.

Ruby titled her head to the side, "What is this?"

"Could it be the Prothean Beacon?" Tanpopo asked.

Satsuki nodded, "Most likely."

"Why is he just staring at it, though?" Touko asked, "Isn't he going to take it? Not that I want him to take it. I'm just asking."

The Prothean Beacon emited a green light as Endeavor was lifted up from the ground, making him float above the ground.

The audience was taken by suprise by the beacon making Endeavor float above the ground.

"What is happening right now?" Maruki asked.

"Perharps the beacon unlocked some sort of a defense machenism when he approached it?" Oobleck theorized.

The scene cut back to the train cargo area as the geth were shown activating four bombs around the site. The cargo train with Y/N, Makoto and Iida had just arrived at the scene and the squad of three quickly got off the cargo train, immediately noticing one of the bombs planted by the geth in front of them.

"Demolition charges!" Iida shouted as Y/N quickly made his way from the cargo train to the bomb, "The geth must have planted them."

"Hurry! We need to find them all and shut them down." Makoto added as Y/N stopped in front of the bomb and quickly deactivated it.

A lot of people in the audience tensed up, knowing the squad of Y/N, Makoto and Iida was working on limited time right now.

Not wasting any time and knowing how short they were on it right, the squad of three quickly started moving forward themselves. Y/N, Makoto and Iida proceeded to move forward themselves across the entire site, keeping their eyes open for the bombs set up by the geths. They didn't know how much time they had left until the detonation of the bombs and they knew they had to because of it this one fact.

It wasn't the only they were paying their attention, though as they knew there were more geths which were more than ready to attack them hiding around the corners. Fortunely for them, they managed to find all bombs and deactive them in time, all the geths which were unfortunate enough to stand in their way laying dead on the ground.

Ruby breathed a sigh of relief, "They turned off the bombs."

"Now all they need to do is to fight the beacon." Jaune looked as much relieved as Ruby was.

"If it is still there." Blake stated, "He could have freed himself at this point and take the beacon with himself."

With the matter of the bombs and the geths taken care of, the squad of three moved towards the reason they came here in the first place. The Prothean Beacon. They arrived their destination a few moments later. They weren't the only ones there, though. A few husks charged towards them them moment the squad of three neared the beacon. They weren't too big of a threat, though as Y/N, Makoto and Iida took care of all of them without any problem.

"It's secured." Ruby calmed down after seeing how the Prothean Beacon wasn't taken by Endeavor.

"At least this part went according to their plan." Lee said.

"Why did he left the beacon, though?" Shiori asked, "Wasn't this reason why he attacked Eden Prime in the first place?"

"Perharps he didn't care about the beacon itself." Nezu stated, "Perharps the beacon showed him something after it made him float."

Y/N touched his comms, his eyes set on the beacon, "Normandy, the beacon is secure. Request immediate evac."

"This is amazing. Actual working Prothean technology. Unbelievable!" Iida exclaimed in awe, taking a few steps towards the beacon with Makoto as the beacon was shown emiting green light, like it did when Endeavor approached it.

"Um, I don't think they should approach it." Chronoire stated.

"Me too." Kazane agreed, "After we saw how the other guy was lifted up from the ground, I think it would be for the best for them if they will stay away from it for now."

"I don't think she knows what will happen if she will approach it. She wasn't there when Endeavor approached it." Aizawa pointed out..

"It wasn't doing anything like that when they dug it up." Makoto remarked.

"Something must have activated it." Iida stated.

"...Roger, Normandy. Standing by." Y/N replied to whatever he had just heard from someone from the Normandy through his comms.

Iida walked over to him and the two of them exchanged quick glances as Makoto narrowed his eyes at the beacon before taking one step towards it. This turned out to be a big mistake as more green light started emiting from the beacon as some kind of force began to push her towards it.

"Makoto!" Futaba, Ryuji and Ann cried out Makoto's name in worry as everyone who knew Makoto stared at the screen in worry.

Seeing this, Y/N quickly came to her aid. He grabbed her before she could be lifted from the ground and threw her towards Iida. Makoto landed on the ground as Iida quickly rushed over to her, checking the state she was in. The two of them looked towards Y/N as Y/N was lifted up in the ground, not having enough time to distance himself from the beacon.

"L/N!" Makoto shouted in worry as Iida prevented her from moving towards him.

"No! Don't touch him! It's too dangerous!" He told her, continuing to prevent her from moving Y/N.

Y/N's expression twisted, showing various emotions as a series of the images began appearing on the screen, meaning only one thing.  The beacon was giving him some kind of a vision. The vision ended a few moments later with the explosion of the beacon as Y/N was thrown on the ground, unconscious. Makoto and Iida quickly rushed over to him in worry.

Many of the people in the audience were horrified by the images which the beacon put in Y/N's mind.

Mako shivered after seeing those images, "What were those images?"

"It looked like war." Shoji stated.

"Could it be a vision of the future?" Tokoyami theorized, "The machines in his those images looked like geth."

"It must have been the reason why Enji went to Eden Prime. He wanted the beacon to show him something, just like it did to Y/N after he approached it." Satsuki stated.

"It doesn't make sense." Snipe said, "If Endeavor wanted to see this vision, then why did he went straight to attacking Eden Prime instead of finding another way of approaching it?

"Perharps this what he is working towards." Sojiro said, "His status of a Spectre will only make everything easier for him."

The scene cut back from the ship Y/N, Iida and Makoto saw departing from Eden Primise as a person the audience suspected to be a woman from their figure slowly walked over to Endeavor who was sitting on a seat somewhere in the ship, her back turned to them.

The camera showed the person who had just approached him, revealing a blue skinned woman. The woman cleared her throat, earning his attention, "We identified the ship that touched down on Eden Prime. The Normandy. A human Alliance vessel. It was under the command of Captain Ozpin. They managed to save the colony."

Satsuki and Ryuko felt how the air left their lungs upon recognizing the woman after hearing her voice.

"Mom..." They whispered to themselves at the same time.

"What is she doing there?" Uzu glared at the viewing screen.

"She's working with someone like him?" Gamagori scoffed, not suprised by Ragyo working with someone responsible for so many deaths, "I'm not suprised."

"Who is she?" Mina asked.

"An evil person and my and Ryuko's mother." Satsuki explained.

"What is her spieces, though?" Nonon asked, "We haven't seen spieces like this one."

"Ragyo is an asari." B explained as Izuku and Double D got ready to write the information they were about to learn from him in their notebooks, "Asari's are often considered the most influential and respected sentient species in the galaxy, and are known for their elegance, diplomacy, and biotic aptitude.

The camera showed Endeavor next. The rogue Spectre had his head buried in his hand, "And the beacon?"

"One of the humans may have used it." Ragyo replied.

Endeavor screamed in frustation as he got up from his seat and threw the objects around him in age while Ragyo moved her head to the side so to not to get hit by an object thrown at her.

Todoroki flinched after seeing how this alternate version of his father exploded in anger and threw the objects around him, recalling all the times when it happened in his household. Seeing this, Izuku placed his hand on his shoulder, trying to comfort his friend.

Endeavor rushed towards Ragyo and put her head in his hands, "This human must be eliminated."

The scene cut from Endeavor and Ragyo to the Normandy as Y/N was shown waking up on the bed in the med bay of the said ship.

A lot of people in the audience were relieved to see Y/N was alright after what happened with the Prothean Beacon.

Weiss breathed a sigh of relief, "He's alright."

"Will it stay this way for long, though?" Velvet rubbed the back of her head with a nervous look on her face, "Enji will go after him after he had this vision or whatever you want to call it. He said so himself."

"Doctor?" Makoto's voice sounded somewhere in the med bay, "Doctor Shuzenji I think he's waking up."

"Makoto is on the Normandy?" Haru asked.

"They must have taken her on the board after Y/N lost his consciousness." Sumire stated.

"I'm not suprised they took her with them after she helped them." Winter said as Ironwood nodded in agreement, "She showed herself to be a capable soldier."

Y/N sat up on the bed as Recovery Girl walked over to him to check his state after waking up from his slumber.

"You had us worried there, L/N. How are you feeling?" Recovery Girl asked as the camera showed Makoto standing behind Y/N.

"Minor throbbing. Nothing serious." Y/N replied, "How long was I out?"

"About fifteen hours." Recovery Girl replied, "Something happened down there with the beacon, I think."

"Fifteen hours?" Jaune's eyebrows shot up.

"It probably is because of the stuff he saw after getting lifted up by the beacon." Yatsuhashi stated.

"It's my fault." Makoto said, "I must have triggered some kind of security field when I approached it. You had to push me out of the way."

Y/N looked over his shoulder at her, "You had no way to know what would happen."

"Actually, we don't even know if that's what set it off." Recovery Girl said as Makoto seemed relieved and pleased by Y/N's answer, "Unfortunately, we'll never get thechance to find out."

"The beacon exploded." Makoto added, "A system overload, maybe. The blast knocked you cold. TheLieutenant and I carried you back here to the ship."

Y/N nodded at her with a grateful look on his face, "I appreciate it."

"Physically, you're fine." Recover Girl said, "But I detected some unusual brain activity, abnormal beta waves. I also noticed an increase in your rapid eye movement, signs typically associated with intense dreaming."

Ryuko sighed in relief, "Good to know the beacon didn't do any physical harm to him."

"Was he dreaming those things for all those fifteen hours?" Haru asked.

Touko shivered at the thought of having to see those images for such a long time, "If so, we may say that he had a nightmare for this many hours."

"I saw — I'm not sure what I saw. Death. Destruction. Nothing's really clear." Y/N replied.

"Hmmm. I better add this to my report." Recovery Girl hummed, "It may." She cut herself off as Ozpin entered the med bay, "Oh, Captain Ozpin."

"How's our XO holding up, Doctor?" Ozpin asked.

"All the readings look normal. I'd say the commander's going to be fine." Recovery Girl answered.

"Glad to hear it." Ozpin nodded, setting his eyes on Y/N, "L/N, I need to speak with you — in private."

Makoto saluted at him, "Aye, aye, Captain. I'll be in the mess if you need me."

Makoto and Recovery Girl walked out of the med bay, leaving Ozpin and Y/N alone as Ozpin asked Y/N once they were out of the hearing range, "Sounds like that beacon hit you pretty hard, Commander. You sure you'reokay?"

"I don't like soldiers dying under my command." Y/N replied, referring to what happened to Jenkins.

"Every good army commander hates when it happens. You're not the only one." Ironwood said, already seeing this version of Y/N displayed good leadership skills such as caring about their subordinates as Winter nodded in agreement.

"Jenkins wasn't your fault." Ozpin replied, "You did a good job, L/N."

"Chief Niijima isn't part of the Normandy crew." Y/N pointed out.

"I figured we could use a soldier like her. She's been reassigned to the Normandy." Ozpin explained.

Y/N nodded in approval, "Niijima is a good soldier. She deserves it."

Makoto blushed slightly at the compliment, doing her best to ignore the smirks she received from her fellow Phantom Thieves. Haru was the only exception among the Phantom Thieves. She raised her brow at her with a hint of jealousy on her face.

"I agree." Winter nodded in agreement, her words from a few moments earlier ringing through her ears.

Ozpin nodded back at him, "Lieutenant Iida agrees with you. That's why I added her to our crew."

"You said you needed to see me in private, Captain?" Y/N asked.

"I won't lie to you, L/N. Things look bad." Ozpin replied, "Zenkichi is dead. The beacon was destroyed andgeth are invading. The Council's going to want answers."

"I didn't do anything wrong, Captain." Y/N replied, "Hopefully, the Council can see that."

"I'll stand behind you and your report, L/N. You're a damned hero in my books." Ozpin replied, "That's not why I'm here. It's Enji, that other turian. Enji's a Spectre, one of the best. A living legend. But if he's working with the geth, it means he's gone rogue. A rogue Spectre's trouble. Enji's dangerous. And he hates humans."

All Might sighed, remembering the words he said about how much danger a Spectre would possess if they went rogue. He just wasn't excepting it to actually happen.

"Why?" Y/N asked.

"He thinks we're growing too fast, taking over the galaxy." Ozpin responded, "A lot of aliens think that way. Most of them don't do anything about it. But Enji has allied himself with the geth. I don't know how. I don't know why. I only know it had something to do with that beacon. You were there just before the beacon self-destructed. Did you see anything? Any clue that might tell us what Enji was after?"

Rinon deadpanned at the screen, "That's why he hates humanity? Seriously?"

Yang looked at the screen in disblief, "He killed so many people just because we're growing too quickly for his liking?"

Bakugo shook his head, "What a bullshit reason."

"Talk about being petty." Ryuji nodded in agreement.

"Just before I lost consciousness, I had some kind of vision." Y/N revealed.

"A vision?" Ozpin looked at him with an interested look on his face, "A vision of what?"

"I saw synthetics. Geth, maybe. Slaughtering people. Butchering them." Y/N explained.

Ozpin looked alarmed by his answer, "We need to report this to the Council, L/N."

"Will they listen to them, though?" Tai asked, "I doubt they will take it seriously just because someone had a bad dream."

Blake nodded in agreement, "Headmaster Ozpin did just say Enji is a valued Spectre and is considered a legend."

"Y/N was a candidate to be a Spectre." Ozpin said, "Maybe they will a benefit of the doubt because of this fact."

"Unless the council is like it is in a lot of sci-fi movies." Futaba said, "What I mean by this is that they will be useless throughout the entire story."

"What are we going to tell them? I had a bad dream?" Y/N voiced he had the same doubts about it as some members of the audience.

"We don't know what information was stored in that beacon." Ozpin began his answer, "Lost Prothean technology? Blueprints for some ancient weapon of mass destruction? Whatever it was, Enji took it. But I know Enji. I know his reputation, his politics. He believes humans are a blight on the galaxy. This attack was an act of war! He has the secrets from the beacon. He has an army of geth at his command. And he won't stop until he's wiped humanity from the face of the galaxy!"

Yang crossed her arms, "I think I now know what will happen in the future showings of this universe."

"Yeah. Me too." Neptune nodded in agreement, "It will be about Y/N stopping this Enji guy from wiping out the humanity with the help of geth and whatever other things he has under his sleeve."

"I'm not suprised to it to be honest." Futaba said, "Many sci-fi movies or games go in the direction of saving humanity from some kind of threat."

Ed nodded in agreement, "Yeah."

"I'll find some way to take him down." Y/N replied, crossing his arms.

"It's not that easy. He's a Spectre. He can go anywhere, do almost anything." Ozpin pointed out, "That's why weneed the Council on our side."

Y/N nodded at him, "We prove Enji's gone rogue and the Council will revoke his Spectre status."

"I'll contact the ambassador and see if he can get us an audience with the Council." Ozpin said, "He'll want to see us as soon as we reach the Citadel. We should be getting close. Head up to the bridge and tell Joker to bring us into doc."

Y/N gave him another nod as Ozpin turned away from him and went to contact the ambassador, leaving him alone in the med bay. It was the last thing the audience saw before the screen turned black, signalling the end of the first chapter of this universe.

"This was interesting to say the least." Sae said right after the screen turned black.

"Yes. I already wrote down many interesting things from this universe." Izuku agreed with her and looked down at his notebook, shifting his eyes between the page about the geth and the page about the quarians, "I wonder what happened to Protheans, though? They couldn't have just vanished without a reason. What about the technology they left behind. How powerful it is if the other spieces value it so much to the point they...."

"Midoriya-kun." Todoroki said as Izuku cut himself off, realizing he was going into his mumbling mode again.

"I'm sorry." Izuku said.

"How do you feel Todoroki-kun?" Uraraka asked, "You just had to watch your dad did all those terrible things."

"I'm fine. It was the other version of Endeavor. Not the real him." Todoroki said. At least his version of his father didn't want to cause extinction of huaminity.

"Are you sure?" Momo asked.

Torodoki nodded, "Yes."

"I loved seeing the babies we saw from this universe such as a mass relay." Hatsume replied, "I can't wait to see more babies from this universe in the future viewings of it."

"I will have to agree with Izuku here. Izuku, right?" Double D wanted to know if he got Izuku's name right as Izuku nodded at him, "I'm interested to learn more about the spieces  and to see the rest of the spieces of this universe as I doubt the spieces we saw or heard about just now were the only spieces in this universe."

"At least it ended in a better way than the universe we watched previously." Touko said, "A lot of terrible things happened in this universe, but at least they weren't as bad as the Titan invasion in the previous universe."

Ruby nodded in agreement, "Hopefully things will get better from now on as neither B and Q are saying us those were the happy days of this universe."

"Should we tell them?" Q whispered to Y/N.

"No." B whispered back, shaking his head, "We already did it in Attack on Titan."

"I can't wait to see Y/N, Makoto and Akira kick ass of the asshole who attacked Eden Prime." Ryuji said.

"Same here." Akane nodded in agreement, "I want to see the turian who killed this version of my dad pay for what he did."

"Don't worry, Akane." Makoto told her, "We will bring him to justice."

"Justice will be served." Iida nodded in agreement, "No matter Endeavor may be in my world, he's a criminal in the world we just faced and needs to be brought to justice."

Q shook her head, thinking to herself, "Just wait until we'll reach Virmire, you two. I will have to ask B who will be saved from the two during this mission as we're watching Mass Effect with the choices he made in his personal playthrough. The game goes for Y/N's romance interest."

B nodded his head at their words and pressed the button on his seat, making the title of the next universe appear on the screen.

Hazbin Hotel

------

Happy N7 day everyone!

Phew, It's finally done. This chapter turned out to be way longer than I excepted. It proved itself to be a bit harder to write than I thought, but I'm glad I finally got it out. The lack of transcripts I could use to take the dialogues from delayed the work on this chapter. I eventually managed to find one, but it only covered the events of Eden Prime. Despise this, I enjoyed writing this chapter and I'm looking forward to write more Mass Effect chapters in the story, especially after the rest of the crew will be introduced.
