Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Introduction: Strike
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Introduction: Strike
Several members of the audience looked at the viewing screen with interest written over their faces. The interest was the most evident on Ironwood and Winter's faces for all the obvious reasons.
Ironwood hummed in an interested manner, "Oh. It looks like we're finally starting this universe."
Qrow chuckled, "Of course you'd be interested in this universe of all universes we haven't started, yet."
Winter rolled her eyes at him, "Keep your comments to yourself."
"Can you blame me for looking forward to watching this universe, Qrow?" Ironwood asked, looking down at the notebook on his knees,"I may get some idea on how to make Atlas Military better than it already is. I will not pass this opportunity."
Roman sighed, "I just can't wait to see more people with sticks up their asses."
Winter shifted her gaze to Roman, "Keep your comments to yourself as well, Torchwick."
Roman smirked, "I think it would go against the of one the reasons we were brought here in the first place."
"He's got you here, Ice Queen." Qrow chuckled as Winter sighed in irritation.
Kaminari rubbed the back of his head, "To be honest I was looking forward to seeing this universe myself. Mostly because of the action we will see in it and stuff."
Kirishima nodded in agreement as he pumped his fist, "Yeah! I want to see All Might, Mido-bro, L/N-bro and Toko-bro in action together!"
Tokoyami raised his brow at the way Kirishima referred him, "Toko-bro?"
"I wonder if we will see any interested military babies in this universe, even though I doubt we will see something our universe doesn't have already." Hatsume said, rubbing her hands.
Shinso shrugged, "You'll have to wait and see."
The first viewing of this universe started with a view of the desert in the middle of the day. The sun was shining brightly, like it would normally do in such environment. The camera lowered itself down, revealing a fresh pair of footprints in the sand before moving towards a crevice in a rock formation.
"Gold Eagle Actual, Shadow-1 is weapons hot. We're burning daylight here..." Tsumugu's voice sounded in the radio as the camera moved closer and closer crevice in the rock formation.
Aikuro hummed to himself and glanced at Tsumugu, "There's you."
"Let's see how it will go from here." Tsumugu nodded at him. He had to admit this to himself. He was interested to see what his counterpart will present.
Upon reaching the crevice, the camera moved through it and showed the audience the ravine inside the rock formation. The camera pointed itself upwards, showing the sun shining through the opening in the rock formation. It was when the camera showed a lone figure walked along the path in the ravine. The audience couldn't see who it was, though because the person had their back turned to the camera.
Rinon narrowed her eyes at this person, trying to see who it was, "Who is this?"
"I can't tell. Their back is turned to the camera." Jaune replied.
"Let's just keep watching." Shinso said, "I'm certain they'll be revealed to us soon."
"Copy, Tsumugu. Stand by. Schwarz, do we have confirmation?" It was when James Ironwood's voice souned on the viewing screen as the lone figure continued to make their way forward themselves.
Winter immediately recognized this voice, "General Ironwood?"
"It is me." Ironwood nodded, "Looks like I will have my part in this universe."
Roman snorted, "Him having a role a role in the military related universe? Why am I not suprised?"
Qrow rubbed the back of his head, "Has Jimmy joined the military in every universe he exists in? It's the third time we see his counterpart since we were brought there and
Ozpin took a sip from his mug, "Some things never change, I suppose. No matter what universe he lives in."
Winter shrugged, "Not suprising to be honest. I can't see someone more fit for this kind of position than General Ironwood?"
"Really? How well did he did in the world of Attack on Titan?" Roman asked, "I'm sure that mother definitely appreciated when he told her how her son's death meant nothing."
Winter glared at him.
"Watcher-1 to Bravo 0-7, you in position?" Chronoire asked through the radio as the lone figure stepped into the daylight, revealing themselves to be Y/N.
Chronoire smiled to herself, tipping her hat, "Now it's time for me to show what I can do on universal scale!"
Everyone who knew her rolled their eyes in either amusement or irritation at her dramatic declaration.
Weekend rolled her eyes, "Yeah. Just try to survive for five minutes on the battlefield."
Chronoire shrugged, "I survived crusades and second world war. I think It will be easy for me."
Y/N touched his radio, looking up, "Nearly there."
Ryuji smiled, "There he is."
"He looks so awesome in this mask." Ed said as Reiko nodded in agreement, feeling her cheeks reddeing.
Uzu nodded in agreement, "Yeah. He looks super badass."
Mina shook her head with an amused look on her face, "This Y/N really embraced his edger side."
Tanuma shivered in her seat, "Awesome? He looks more scary if you ask me!"
Marie rolled her eyes at her, "He's a soldier. He is supposed to make his enemies fear him. What were you expecting him to wear?"
Kasumi pointed at her angrily, "Hey! Don't talk to my bestie like that!"
"Marie." Double D said to Marie in a scolding tone.
"Alright. I'm sorry." Marie apologized to Tanuma for her choice of towards, "Sheesh. Talk about overreacting to my words."
"All this arguing aside, can we talk about how hot it must be for him to be in those clothes right now?" Coco asked.
Satsuki raised her brow at Coco, "This is what you're worrying about?"
"What? It's a perfectly valid question. He's a desert and and is wearing clothes like this." Coco explained herself.
The camera switched to Y/N's perspective as he pushed himself into walk and started to walk forward himself to his destination with his weapon held in ready. Just as the camera switched to Y/N's perspective, an inscription appeared on the left side of the viewing screen.
Y/N "Ghost" L/N - TF-141, Shadow CO.
AL - MAZRAH, U.R.A
15 July 2022 1600
Shoji chuckled, "Ghost, huh?"
Tokoyami nodded in approval of the codename this version of Y/N was using, "It fits him pretty well if you ask me, considering what kind of a mask he is wearing."
Bakugo smirked, "Now that's the kind of name I can approve of!"
Reiko nodded in agreement, "It's definitely better than Twilight."
"Hey, Weiss. Does your sister have a nickname in the military?" Yang asked out of curiosity.
"She has no nicknames. Unless you count Ice Queen. Apparently I'm not the only Schnee who is called that." Weiss replied as Qrow smirked, causing Winter to glare at him.
Ann raised her brow at the names she saw next to Y/N's name and codename, "TF-141 and Shadow Company? What are those?"
Port hummed with a thoughtful look on her face, "I'm guessing that at least one of these names belongs to the squad that was introduced to us earlier in the trailer."
"I'm guessing TF-141 is that squad." Sojiro voiced his thoughts, "It sounds more like a military unit than the other name."
Maruki nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Shadow Company. feels like a group of mercenaries rather than a military unit. Or least this is how the feelings I got from this name. I can always be wrong."
The sound of helicopter came from above Y/N as he looked up, seeing it flying forward itself right above him. It flied out of his view right after.
"Got a heli incoming." He reported to everyone through his radio.
"Who are they?" Jonny asked, "Are they with Y/N or with someone else?"
Kendo put her hand on her chin, "I don't think so. Otherwise I think he would be told about a friendly helicopter flying his direction."
"Are those the people Y/N is going after right now?" Akira asked.
"That's General Ghorbrani." Chronoire revealed as soon as the helicopter flied out of Y/N"s view.
"General Ghorbrani? Wasn't the guy mentioned in the trailer named Hassan?" Tai asked.
Zenkichi rubbed the back of his head, "Perharps Hassan is his first name?"
"Right on time. Now, get up there and let's see what he's up to in the middle o' nowhere." Ironwood replied.
Y/N proceeded to make his way through the passage until he stumbled upon the part that forced him to climb. He didn't thought much of it, though as he could immediately tell the climb wouldn't be a hard one. Not wasting any time, he started to climb up and proceeded to do it until he reached an opening that overlooked the vast desert area.
Nezu chuckled.
"What's wrong?" All Might asked.
"Nothing. It just remind myself of the first version of young L/N's hero costume." Nezo explained. His words brought amused smiles to everyone from U.A's staff, "It was something similiar to what we saw his counterpart wearing before the perspective got shifted to through his eyes."
Snipe smiled, "Now that you mention it. I can see the similiarities."
Present Mic chuckled, shaking his head, "His first version of the costume was so edgy."
Midnight giggled, "Good thing we changed it into something less edgy as people would think he was a villain upon laying their eyes on him."
"I'm eyes on." Y/N informed everyone through the radio as the audience saw a massive convoy on the desert area in front of him.
"What's going on there?" Ruby asked.
"Looks like an important military gathering." Weiss said, "Otherwise I doubt so many vehicles would be gathered in the middle of the desert."
Sun crossed his arms, "This brings me back memories of Vacuo."
Jaune looked at him questioningly, "Military gathering take places in the middle of the desert in Vacuo?"
"No." Sun shook his head, "It's just this is how many people are meeting up with each other, considering Vacuo is, you know, mostly desert."
Jaune nodded at him, "Oh, that makes sense."
"Perharps this is where the helicopter we saw earlier was heading." Yusuke stated.
"What do you see?" Chronoire asked as Y/N took out his scope and allowed himself to take a good look at the convoy in the distance.
"Armed personnel, armor and hardware. All Russian." Y/N reported to her.
Kyochiro raised his brow, "Russians?"
"What are they doing in Iran?" Medusa asked.
"What the hell are the Russians doin' with Ghorbrani?" Ironwood wanted to know.
"Supplying Iran. It's an arms deal." Chronoire explained.
Medusa hummed to herself, having just received the answer to her question, "I see."
"Rolf's smells trouble incoming." Rolf said.
"You're not the only one, dude." Kevin agreed with him.
Alcina nodded in agreement, "Yeah. This kind of cooperation immediately raises some questions."
"You copying this, Shadow-1?" Ironwood asked asked Tsumugu.
"Affirmative- two birds, one stone..." Tsumugu confirmed.
"We need positive ID on Ghorbrani before we kick this off, boys." Chronoire stated.
"Ghost, can you identify the General?" Ironwood asked Y/N.
Y/N wasted no time and moved the scope across the desert area in front of him, trying to locate Ghorbrani. At first, his attempts were in vain as Russian soldiers were the only people he could see through his scope. Fortunely Lady Luck seemed to smile down at him as his eyes caught the sight of a large gathering in front of the helicopter he saw a few moments earlier.
Makoto nodded, "Yup. The helicopter we saw earlier was heading for this meeting."
"That general must have come in it." Izuku stated.
Neo rolled her eyes, "Of course the general took a flying machine to the meeting place while the rest would go there in cars through the desert."
He focused his attention on the gathering in front of the helicopter and made sure to eye each person present for the meeting. His eyes quickly caught the sight of one person that stood out from the rest. Why did they stood out from the rest? It was because they wore a military uniform a high ranking person in the army would wear.
Kirishima nodded to himself, "Looks like Y/N found Ghorbrani."
"It has to be him." Yang nodded in agreement, "Who else would wear a suit like this in the middle of the desert?"
Neo elbowed Roman with a smirk on her face as Roman pretended he did not hear Yang's words or felt Neo's elbow.
"Armed escorts around one VIP. Russians are very happy to see him." Y/N informed everyone through his radio as soon as he managed to locate the target.
"It'll be the last time they do..." Ironwood stated as the Russian soldiers escorted the officer through the vehicles until the officer turned around, revealing himself to be no other than General Ghorbrani.
"Visual on General Ghorbrani." Y/N reported, having just marked the said man with his scope to make sure everyone will know which one was their target.
Kirishima once again nodded to himself, "Yup. It was him."
"What are they going to do now?" Sumire asked.
"Do you really need to ask? It was already made clear he's their target." Eddy pointed out.
Rinon nodded in agreement, "Yeah. It's pretty obvious."
"I know. This isn't why I am asking this question, though." Sumire pointed out in return, "If they will kill him now, then what happens next is he is the Hassan that we heard about in the trailer?"
Maruki put his hand in his chin, "Perharps he will somehow survive this assassination attempt?"
Sae looked at the viewing screen with a thoughtful look on her face, "Or perharps he is Hassan and this takes place before Hassan became a known threat to everyone from this universe?"
Maruki nodded in agreement, "It seems like a possible theory."
"Copy." Chronoire replied, "All stations- target confirmed."
"Shadow-1- You are cleared hot for launch." Ironwood told Tsumugu.
"Roger that, Actual." Tsumugu voiced his understanding of his words.
The camera cut away from Y/N looking through the scope at Ghorbrani and showed a truck with a cargo container on top.
Ironwood and Winter exchanged glances with each other and nodded, feeling like a military presentation was coming up. Not wasting any time, Ironwoof quickly prepared himself to write everything down.
Hatsume looked at the screen excitedly, "Let's see some military baby in action!"
As the camera continued to show the truck, Tsumugu called out for Y/N, "Ghost, you are danger close to the zone. This arrow's gonna pack a punch."
"Copy. Approved." Y/N replied as the cargo container opens to reveal a missile launcher. Not wasting any time, everything started to prepare itself to launch the missile into the air, "Send it."
Ironwood and Winter leaned closer to the viewing screen with interested looks on their faces, interesting to see such military equipment in action.
"All stations, Shadow-1. Missile is ready for immediate delivery, stand by for launch." Tsumugu said as the camera showed him in the control room in front of the missile. He was seated on the missile controls, preparing everything to launch the missile, "Coordinates in... Target designated... Two... One... Shot out."
The missile launched upwards as a few black clothes soldiers standing on guard close to the military equipment covered their eyes, making sure the dust and the sand won't get into their eyes.
"Such amazing military equipment." Ironwood stated, writing something down in his notebook.
Hatsume shook her head at him, "Your universe really lacks great babies, huh?"
Winter looked at her with an almost offended look on her face, "Excuse me?"
Qrow chuckled after seeing the offended look Winter had on her face right now, "Good one, kid."
"Who are those people?" Nonon asked, referring to the men in black.
"I don't know. They can be with Tsumugu if they're keeping guard on him when he used this military equipment." Gamagori theorized.
"They could be from the Shadow Company which was previously mentioned." Mako said.
Inumuta looked at her questioningly, "What makes you say that?"
"Duh! They wear black? Shadows are black. Am I right?" Mako explained.
Nonon deadpanned at her, "You really deduced it from something like this?"
Mako smiled proudly and nodded in confirmation, "Yup!"
The audience stared at Mako silently as Mako continued to smile proudly at the theory she had just formed.
"To be honest it makes sense." Izuku broke the silence in the theater, writing this possibility down in his notebook.
Double D nodded in agreement, "Yeah. It does."
Gamagori smiled at Mako, "Great thinking, Mankanshoku."
Ryuko laughed, "That's our Mako!"
Mako put her hand on her chest, "I'm a genius!"
Everyone who was in Leblanc during the break didn't know why but felt like the clothes the possible members of the Shadow Company had on themselves felt oddly familiar to them. Like they had seen them somewhere before.
"Missile is loose." Tsumugu informed everyone as the camera showed everything from the perspective of the missile. It flied over the desert and entered a low-lying canyon as it headed towards it's destination, "Link is good, target acquired. This will take some manual guidance to hold her."
"Wow!" Ruby exclaimed with excitement written over her face, "Will we see the perspective of this missile in action?"
Ed nodded in agreement with stars in his eyes, "So cool!"
"I can already tell the action scenes in this universe will be awesome." Kaminari stated. Several members of the audience nodded in agreement.
"Missile bearing northeast at 0-6-5 degrees at Mach 3... Altitude 500 meters." Tsumugu informed everyone as the missile continued to head towards it's target in a rather quick pace.
Everyone stayed silent for the next few seconds until Ironwood's voice echoed from the viewing screen, "...You're right in the pocket, stay with it."
"Check, coming' in hot..." Tsumugu began to say.
"Do you think Russians and Iranians on the meeting will notice this missile heading their way?" Haru asked.
"Maybe they will." Todoroki replied, "Maybe this will be how Hassan will survive if this general really is him."
"...Brace for impact." Tsumugu finished what he was saying as the missile received a boost, causing it fly towards it's target even quicker.
"Nevermind." Todoroki said, knowing there was no way the general will distance himself from the explosion in time even if he will notice the missile.
Shinso nodded, "Yeah. No one from the meeting is making out of there alive."
Izuku smiled at Todoroki and patted his shoulder, "Hey. It was a good theory."
"If you say so." Todoroki replied.
Winter's eyes widened in suprise. "This missile even has a booster?"
"Atlesian Military would definitely make a good use out of something like this in their stock." Ironwood asked, having written down everything he saw about this weapon in his notebook,
"Time to target 5 seconds..." Tsumugu said as the missile was getting closer and closer to it's target with each passing second, "...Termination in 3, 2, 1..."
The camera switched away from the missile's perspective and showed Y/N watching everything through his scope. The masked man lowered his scope and looked away as the missile collided with the convoy, creating a large explosion and a large shockwave. The shockwave from the explosion passed by Y/N. He remained unscathed, though.
The members of the audience who came from Remnant started at the explosion in a horrified shock.
"Holy shit." Qrow said.
Nora's eyes were wide in awe, "Such a large explosion by a missile!"
"Not a single missile owned by the Atlesian military is capable of creating such explosion!" Winter pointed out.
Hatsume shook her head as she eyed the shocked expressions everyone from Remnant had on their faces right now. She looked at Ironwood as Ironwood was writing everything down in his notebook, feeling like she will have to talk with him about babies his army could use in it's stock.
Power Loader saw the look she had on her face right and nodded to himself, "Note to yourself. Follow Hatsume during the next break."
"Yeah. I don't think the general survived it." Sero stated.
"Looks like your theory on Hassan being someone who will be introduced later on was true." Maruki said to Sae as Sae nodded at him.
"Seeing what just happened, Hassan can turn out to be someone seeking revenge on those who killed him." Sojiro theorized.
Futaba nodded in agreement, "Yeah. He could be something like his successor."
"Bloody fucking hell." Y/N cursed, completely unbothered by the explosion in front of him as he set his eyes on the area of the explosion and touched his radio, intending to report what just happened to everyone, "Direct. Target destroyed."
As soon as those words left his mouth, the camera cut away from him and screen turned black. It remained like this for several seconds until a white inscription appeared on the viewing screen.
MODERN WARFARE II
It was when the screen turned black once again, signalling the end of the first viewing of this universe.
"What? It's over already?" Ryuji asked.
"Wow. It was probably the shortest viewing we had so far." Kasumi stated.
"Well, the name of this viewing did tell us it was just an introduction, ribbit." Asui pointed out.
"So. What do you think?" B asked.
"It was a nice introduction to this universe." Ozpin replied.
"I wonder what is Tsumugu related to the Shadow Company." Satsuki said, "Of course if if Mako's theory about people who were seen guarding him and the missile was indeed correct."
Ironwood nodded in agreement, "If I I got an idea how to improve Atlesian Military from such a short viewing of this universe, then I can only imagine what other ideas I will get from it."
"I just wish it wasn't so short." Kaminari said, "I wanted to see more action."
"Just wait until the next viewing idiot." Jiro muttered under her breath.
"I'm with Kami-bro on this one." Kirishima nodded in agreement, "I can't wait to see All Might, Mido-bro, L/N-bro and Toko-bro in action together. I can already tell all of them will be so badass and manly in this universe!"
"Don't forget about Rolfie." Kevin added, putting his hand on Rolf's shoulder, "He was seen fighting alongside them in the trailer as well."
Eddy smirked, "I can already tell our Rolfie will kick everyone's butts in this universe."
"I'm hoping to see myself in action next time as in this viewing I could only be heard talking on the radio." Chronoire replied.
"It was nice to see, yet, another counterpart of myself. I just hope he will be someone that I won't be have to be ashamed of." Ironwood said as B and Q exchanged glances with each other at his words, knowing he will be disappointed by his potrayal in this universe.
"What universe we will watch now?" Double D asked.
"We'll be going back to your favourite universe." B replied, pressing the button to start another viewing.
Attack on Titan Episode 4: The Night of the Closing Ceremony: Humanity's Comeback, Part 2
-----
Suprise! Two chapter in two days! I blame the fact how short the introduction mission to MW2 2022 was for it.
Yeah. I know this chapter was short. Couldn't really do anything about it because of how short the introduction mission was. The next MW2 chapter will be definitely longer as it was take us straight into action with Y/N and Tokoyami.
