Earth-10! A place where every human has powers. And the one who was the most powerful was our protagonist Prerna Gomes Thawne (as in me😁). I had every power that existed in my universe. People say that I'm God gifted but only I know how much of a curse these powers are for me. They consider me a hero but I consider myself to be the worst person alive. My father Eobard Thawne had gone missing chasing these stupid fuck all powers leaving me, my mother Jiya Gomes and my brother Naveen Gomes Thawne to live like a widow and orphans. We didn't really care much when we heard that he died. He died because my great great great great great grandfather had killed himself in Earth-2. We weren't affected because he was at a parallel universe. I was treated as some God because of my powers which gave my family a cozy Life which we were sick and tired of. One day Maa gave me a weird tasting drink. I was binge watching Left Right Left all over again for the 11th time this year. I'm telling you all the only ability that I want is the one that I don't have. If I could only if I could just go inside that show I would have helped Raina and kept Alekh away from that Neelu. Kamini ne kitna dukh diya hai mere bechare Alu ko. Mera bas chale toh mai Alekh ka rape hi kar daalu! Hayee kitne cute honge Humare baache😍😍😍! Yaar kitna hot Aur sexy hai yeh banda. Aur especially his language maybe it's just me par yaaaarrrrrr it's sooooo seductive😍😍. Suddenly I feel this extreme pain I felt like my bones were breaking when I hear my Maa apologizing to me and I blackout. The next thing I remember is waking up in the hospital bed. The doctor said I was fine and free to go home. I was taken home. The next day the council members barged in and started taking Maa away and when Naveen tried to stop them but they didn't stop instead they dragged him too. That's when they heard me scream on top of my voice...

Prerna: Stop!! Ami bolchi thamo. Kothai niye jaacho tader? (Stop!! I said Stop. Where do you think you are taking them?)

[A/N:. Oops I forgot to mention I'm from Bangladesh in Earth-10. But I'll be writing most of my Bengali dialogues in English unless I feel like writing Bangla😅😁]

Council Head (CH): They have offended the law. They have committed a sin and it's our job to punish them..... with death.

Prerna: The only crime that is sentenced to death is giving someone the Meta- Power- Dampening potion and they don't have any access to that.

That's when I see Maa and Naveen bowing their heads which gave me the indication of them giving me that potion. I was shocked but controlled myself to remain my posture so that I can get them out of this mess.

CH: I've got proofs which have been verified and now we are given the orders to kill them right in front of you.

Prerna: Naa please naa. Aapna der jaa chai aamake bolun Ami dibo kintu tader chere din. ( No please no. Whatever you need just tell me I'll give it to you but please leave them!)

I begged in front of them but they didn't listen. They dragged them to the council hall where that jallad was. He was standing there with a dirty smirk on his face and hatred in his eyes for me and my family. He wanted to destroy only me but couldn't do so physically. That's why he chose to break me internally. He tortured them till they asked for their own death still they didn't. They fucking didn't show any mercy. That's when I had to say the words I never imagined to say even in my worst nightmares. I told them to kill the only family I had left. They brutally murder them. When I thought they'll kill me now I got the biggest shock of my life. The council members decided to punish me by giving me my powers back with eternal life. They said the person who will be my soulmate will also get eternal life and then they sent me to Earth-1 forever.

Before I could recall my past even more I was hit with a chalk on my forehead. I snap our of my past and look around. I was in Captain Rajveer's classroom. He looked pretty pissed maybe I got really lost that I didn't realize when he started his lecture. I realized that I was on the verge of crying but controlling myself I stood up from my seat and said...

Prerna: Sorry Sir!

Rajveer: Aap class ke beech mai aisa kya soch rahi thi ke aapko hum sab ki awaaz tak sunai nehi di?

Prerna: Nehi Sir aisi koi baat nehi hai. I'm really sorry aisa phir kabhi nehi hoga.

Rajveer: Ok sit down.

As I sit down I see Huda throwing a chit towards Naina and she picking it up. I instantly recognize the scene in front of me and let it happen as it is. Reading the chit Naina was going to throw it back at Huda but Rajveer Sir turned back and saw that. He was scolding Naina and I felt the need to interfere so I raised my hand and said...

Rajveer: Iss saal ke Cadets kuch zyada hi badtameez hai lagta hai! Kya hua Cadet???

He stopped for my surname.

Prerna: Ahluwalia Sir. My name is Prerna Ahluwalia.

That seemed to shock everyone and lastly Sir decided to ask ki meri iss gustakhi ki wajah kya hai...

Prerna: Sorry to interrupt your scolding session Sir par aap Cadet Singh ko bewajah hi daant rahe hai.

Rajveer: Excuse me?!?! Ab tum mujhe bataogi ki agar koi galti kare toh kya karna chahiye?

Prerna: You are excused. Aur Sir mai toh sirf aapko pura sach batana chahti hu! Yeh chit Cadet Singh ne nehi banai thi yeh Cadet Huda ne unhe paas ki hai.

Rajveer: Aur yeh aap itne yakeen se kaise keh sakti hai?

Prerna: Sir Cadet Huda mere samne hi baithe hai if you haven't noticed by any chance.

Embarrassed Rajveer asked Naina if it was true and she just says yes Sir and I was like ab bajegi Huda ki band. Now instead of Naina Huda got that lecture. On my way out of the class Rajveer stopped me and asked...

Rajveer: Toh aap Naveen Singh Ahluwalia ki behen hai? Kya Brigadier Chandok ko yeh baat pata hai?

Prerna: Sorry Sir par mai aapke kisi bhi sawal ke jawab dene mai comfortable nehi hu. So I'll take your leave please and thank you.

Saying this I walked out of the classroom only to bump into the man whom I always dreamt to be with ever since I watched Left Right Left the TV show on Earth-10. The only difference is that he's real now. I run away from there to my room muttering a I'm sorry!

Alekh just looks at me with a confused look as he should be saying sorry for spilling a portion of his drink on my uniform.

Coming back to my room I slump down on the floor with a blank face not knowing if I should laugh or cry. Laugh because I finally actually have the chance of getting the man of my dreams and cry because it was at the cost of my family's life. I've been trying to balance my life. To get justice for that person who has been trying ( keyword TRYING) his best to provide me a reason to live, smile and love again. I cry my lungs out as I recall the bitter life I had. When I saw the news of Naveen Bhaiya after landing in Earth-1 I decided ki I'll save him, keep him hidden until I get him justice. I was really hard for me to convince Joe to not turn him in but he eventually agreed after I showed him the other perspective. Currently Bhaiya is in starlabs undergoing treatment for the torture he had gone through. Naveen Bhaiya has officially adopted me and calls me choti. I bought Harrison Wells' house and now Bhaiya is staying there along with Cisco. Currently I'm in KMA trying to get him justice. BC is the only person in KMA who knows about my powers till now. Jaldi hi mujhe yeh sab Naina ko batana hoga. I look at the clock and looks like I gotta run. Chudail ki class hai. Kismat toh dekho log chudail se dur bhagte hai aur mai ussi ke paas jaa rahi hu. Going into chudail Mishra's class I book my spot at the very back corner so that I could hide myself easily from that weirdo and keep an eye on her. But to my surprise Alekh comes and sits right beside me instead of Huda.

Alekh: Sun. Apun ko tujhe sorry bolne ka hai.

Prerna: Tu apun ko sorry kaiko bol raha hai? Kuch kiya kya tune mere saath ya mere khilaf? Kyuki Mujhe toh yaad nehi.

Alekh: Aee shani tu apun ki tarha kaiko baat kar reli hai? Huh??

I see Naina entering the class so I start talking loud enough for her to hear.

Prerna: Mere saath jo jiss style mai baat karta hai mai bhi unse waise hi baat karti hu. Ek aur baat bolu agar tumhe bura na Lage toh?

Alekh: Bol.

Prerna: Mujhse thodi duri banaye rakho warna tumhari zindegi ko khatra ho sakta hai. Kyuki sabke liye mai sirf aur sirf ek deshdrohi ki behen hu aur kuch nehi.

Alekh: Toh uss hisab se apun bhi Ek qaidi hai. Dekh insaan ko aapne naam se nehi kaam se pehchana jaata Hai.

Prerna: Sabki soch agar Tumhari tarha hoti toh yeh duniya bohot aachi jagah hoti. Aur Tumne jo bhi kiya tha sahi tha aur yeh baat tum bhi Aache se jaante ho.

Alekh: Kon hai tu??

Prerna: Bas ek yehi sawal hai jiska jawab mai kisi ko nehi bata sakti. Ab classes par dhayan do.

We all introduced ourselves to chudail Mishra and I was the last one so she thought that it'll be great to ask me some questions. How smart! Thankfully both Rajveer and Naina were there which makes my job a lot more easier.

Ritu: Toh tum gaddar Naveen Singh Ahluwalia ki behen ho?

Prerna: Aur yeh aap itne yakeen se kaise keh sakti hai ki woh gaddar the. Kyuki unka toh trail bhi theek se nehi hua tha.

Ritu: Toh aap yeh kehna chahti hai ki puri Army galat hai aur aapka bhai sahi?

Prerna: Maine aisa bilkul nehi kaha ma'am. In fact it's you who uttered these words. Main toh bas itna keh rahi hu ke he wasn't even given the opportunity to prove his innocence.

Rajveer and Naina gave me a deep and puzzled looks and the rest of the people were thinking about what I said.

Later that day I was sitting at the mess when me and captain Rajveer were called to BC's cabin. I was whistling and walking. On our way Rajveer says...

Raj: Aapko dekh kar lag raha hai ki aap aapne kisi dost se milne jaa rahi hai.

Prerna: Aur Aapko dekh kar aisa lagta hai ki aap aapne hone wale khadus Sasur se milne jaa rahe hai.

Rajveer: Aap kuch zyada nehi bolti?

Prerna: Naaah! Mai sirf sach bolti hu. I like to say I'm blunt. Woh kya kehte hai muhphat!

They reach BC's cabin and after getting permission they go in.

BC: Major you had said that you want to report disrespectful behavior! What's the matter and aapne cadet Ahluwalia Aur captain Rajveer ko kyu bulwaya.

Rajveer: Mujhe innke baare mai hi baat karni hai sir.

BC: Kya kiya cadet Ahluwalia ne?

Nair: This girl doesn't know how to behave with their teacher. Instead of being polite she shows attitude.

BC: Yeh kya hai Cadet. Ek taraf aapke batch ki Ek Cadet atankwadiyo se itne Aache se ladti hai aur dusri taraf aap hai jinki humesha complaints aati rehti hai.

Prerna: Par Sir maine toh major Nair se sirf itna kaha ki a solider shouldn't be judged by their sexuality. Aur wese bhi jin ladkiyon se woh itni nafrat karte hai unhi ki wajah se woh iss duniya mai hai. I was just stating simple facts. Inki mujhse mere bhaiya ke karan agar koi personal khunaas hai toh woh alag baat hai. But why hate on girls?

BC: umm.... major Nair you are dismissed. We will talk about this later.

Rajveer was left speechless. This is the second person he's seeing who reminds him of Naveen. Major Nair leaves from their. BC asks us to sit down.

Prerna: Sir agar aap Rajveer Sir ko mere baare mai sab bata de toh I think it'll make all of our lives easier.

BC: R u sure Cadet?

Prerna: 1000% Sir. I can even trust him with my life.

Rajveer was confused. The girl he thought was a spy trusts him enough to tell her deepest secrets to him and her life. BC tells him the exact story I told him word for word which is my real past except for the me being from Earth-10 part.

Rajveer: I'm sorry Sir but I can not believe this story of her. I mean how can someone get supernatural powers.

Prerna: Expected reaction. Kya proof chahiye aapko?

Rajveer: show me a sample.

Prerna: Like this?

I signal him to look towards the glass of water sitting on the table which is now turning ice. Rajveer's eyes look like they'll pop out of their sockets.

BC: Cadet agar Aapka shakti pradarshan ho gaya ho toh kya aap please iss baraf ko phir se paani mai badal dengi.

Prerna: Awasheya Acharya.

BC let's out a small chuckle and dismisses both me and Rajveer Sir who still looked really dazed. We came out of BC's cabin and I called him back bring him out of the shocked zone. Looking at my face he understood what I wanted to talk about.

Rajveer: Don't worry Cadet. Your secret is safe with me.

Prerna: Thank you Sir.

With that I left for the mess and I was called by Naina. I went and sat down with her.

Prerna: Ab Tera shoulder kaisa hai?

Naina: Theek hai.

Prerna: Kabhi kabhi it's good to let your pain out. Warna woh zeher bann kar bahar aata jo sabko affect karti hai.

Pooja: Oye missed call tu freshers ball par kya pehen rahi hai.

Prerna: Pehle yeh batao ki tumlog kya pehen rahi ho. Mera abhi decide karna baaki hai.

Pooja described her outfit. And so did Naina.

Pooja: Aacha tune decided nehi kiya par kuch planning toh ki hai naa?

Prerna: Idea toh hai! Guys I know ki hum itne aache dost nehi hai par mere paas Ek idea hai.

Pooja: Aree bolna kya idea hai. Aur hum dono ne toh tujhse friendship ka network tab Hi jod liya tha jab tune Naina ko defend kiya tha!

Prerna: Toh kyu na hum teeno kuch different kare. Matlab academy mai sab log western outfits pehnenge. Kyu na hum teeno Indian pehne we'll standout aur it might get one of us the Ms. Fresher title. What say?

Naina: Idea aacha hai. Maine suna hai ki usually sab western hi pehente hai so it'll be nice change.

Pooja: Toh decided hum teeno Indian pehnenge. Wese tu kis ke saath jaa rahi hai ball mai?

Prerna: Pata nehi. Nahi kisine mujhse pucha Aur nahi maine! Aacha mera dinner ho gaya. Mere room mai mile baki ki cheeze decide karne ke liye?

I leave from there towards my room to plan my next move which is to tell Raina about Naveen bhaiya when I see a vision or as Cisco likes to call it Vibes! With the vision came an extreme pain near her heart.

Vision

Prerna: Alekh tumhe meri kasam! Just shoot!

Prerna whispered to him and pressed the trigger with her own hands near her heart. She falls into his arms with a smile on her lips whispering his name.

Present

Prerna faints and that's exactly when Naina and Pooja enter the room.
