You sit with Tari in your shared place and she seems uneasy. you try to comfort her but she shifts away slightly.

"Did i do something wrong?" you ask a bit hurt.

"No, but i need to tell you about Francis before things start getting crazier. and i cant do that if im feeling better." she admits which you nod in understanding.

"Makes sense, so where do you want to start?" you asked.

When she finished you were too calm but pushed your anger down for a moment to not go off.

"Meggy would probably want to take him out herself, however Fr/N will try to deter her as best he can." He muttered before Tari hugged you.

"I know you're angry but please don't try to do anything rash... please." She pleaded. You sigh and hug her back.

"I won't, I promise." You say petting her head.

Fr/N was working on calming down Meggy enough to talk about Francis

"I HATE him no it's more than that but I'm so angry that I can't think of one! So if anyone is gonna kill that spineless reptile its gonna be ME!" she said firmly.

"Meggy." Fr/N said worried taking her hands "I know you're angry and upset. But I'm not in the loop of who that is or what he did." He finished and she blushed but took a breath to calm down.

"You're right. I'll try not to rant too much ok? No promises." She said tearing up a bit.

He kissed her cheek and wiped her tears away making her smile.

After giving her side of the story Fr/N was embracing her and petting her head as she finished crying.

"I see how he angers you, but you have her back. Don't you?" He asked which she thought about.

"Yeah, yeah! But it's more about the principal..." she said looking up at him.

"Fair enough" he said chuckling and kissed her.

Br/N sighed and looked out the window while Belle washed her face. She caught him looking out.

"What are you thinking about?" She asked startling him a bit.

"Francis, and how he almost wiped out the inklings and octolings." He admitted.

"Why do you look so somber about it?" She asked hugging him from behind.

"Because I held a tournament for one of my games and a bunch of inklings and octolings signed up." He said somberly.

"You put targets on their backs and you feel responsible." She said rubbing his chest. He began to cry nodding.

"You couldn't've known. Did they ever come back?" She asked to which he nodded.

"Then they didn't blame you for anything that he did to them." She said kissing his cheek making him turn towards her.

"I love you so much." He said kissing her.
