Now, multimedia application have been uesd mainly in the fields of information, trainning and entertainment. Example: some museun, banks and estate agents have information kiosks that use multimedia.

Multimedia application use huge amount of data. Computer can be conected to MIDI instruments alowing the music stored on computer and display on the mornitor. The music being player and you can create your own compilation.

A lot of people really enjoy using a program with sound and motion pictures. Multimedia refer to the technologies and application that intergrate sound, music, video, text, images, animation and any other media in any other combination. Ex: Microsoft has Windows with multimedia control panels to work with audio files. TV is just very passive, whereas with multimedia you can actually do things you get much more involved.

The application multimedia is just very interesting and entertaining to use !
