Spock

MateaPejic-see, told you I was working on it *wink wonk*- Hope ya like it!

Breathing hard, you wiped your face with a towel, dismissing your trainer for the day. You entered the locker rooms to grab your things and change when you felt a hand on your waists. Tightening your muscles and throwing back your arm into your visiter's chest, you hoped to weaken them so you could get away.

But instead of hearing a debilitated grunt, you heard a soft chuckle as a hand stopped your elbow from hitting their chest.

A warm breath tickled your ear as the hand on your waist pulling you back and closer to them.

"I take it my family's arrival has slipped your mind."

You bit back a smile as you turned to face him, using his closeness to press your boyfriend against the lockers. You leaned in close, your noses nearly touching as you smirked.

"You know I could beat you up for assuming I forgot about your mother and aunt."

Spock held your eyes as he refrained from pressing his lips to yours, though his eyes begged for it. "Fortunately, I am well informed of your abilities to wisely agree with you."

You smirked then granted him a soft kiss but kept it short, your excitement to see your favorite woman and her sweet sister bubbling up inside you. You pulled back and winked. "See you on the Bridge."

Spock watched as you sauntered off, his ears still warm from your kiss. He too was excited to see his family, but perhaps for other reasons that you.

After showering and changing into a new uniform, you entered the Bridge, nodding curtly to the other officers and taking your seat in communications. Spock hadn't told you when his family was coming in but that didn't stop you from getting to your job.

You desperately wanted to be a security officer but a past injury stopped you from joining. It was while you were training and strengthening yourself to apply again when you met Spock. That was also when you told him for the first time that you could beat him up. He doubted that and was right. So from then on, he trained you as best he could until you did beat him. That same day, after all those weeks and months of training, dripping in sweat and breathing hard, he asked you to be his girlfriend. Well, that's pretty much what he said in his own awkward Vulcan/Spock way.

You met his mom the day he was able to save her from Vulcan being destroyed and you instantly got along despite you being cold and stiff at first. Amanda saw right through your tough act and gave you a big hug, thanking you for making her son so happy. She said you reminded her of her sister so it was only natural for Amanda to bring her sister, Julie, the next time she came to visit.

The sound of the lift opening drew your attention. Spock stepped out and walked over to the Captain speaking to another officer. Your boyfriend showed no emotion but did stare at you as he passed making your ears and neck feel warm. He was the only one who ever had the power to make you drop your guard. And that was hard and he knew that.

You watched Spock whisper in Kirk's ear and Kirk smiled, nodding and clapping his friend on the arm. "Bring them up, Spock. I wouldn't mind seeing the little cutie."

You raised a brow, most likely adopted by your Vulcan, and watched with skepticism as he commed for his mother and aunt to be sent up. You turned to the turbo lift as it opened and you smiled, though not too big not wanting to give the wrong impression tot he Bridge that you were beyond excited to see Amanda.

But the moment Amanda saw you, she burst into a happy shout and rushed up to you with open arms and bright smile. You gave in and smiled, standing to give the slight woman a warm hug. She pulled you back, holding you by your arms.

"You grow more beautiful every time I see you."

You shrugged a shoulder. "Your son keeps me in shape."

Amanda laughed, winking. "His father was the same."

Your cheeks rushed as you stumbled over your words to correct what she assumed but she just laughed, brushing it away.

"I know, I'm just messing with you."

Suddenly the Bridge erupted in a chorus of 'awe's and 'how cute's making the two of you turn around. You saw a woman with her back turned, her hair and slight build the same as her sister's but it wasn't until you turned around that you felt your knees buckling.

Julie held the most adorable child you had ever seen. He had the chubbiest cheeks and the biggest eyes and the tiniest nose. You had to hold onto Amanda as you gazed open-mouthed at Spock's little cousin.

"Is that a- is that a -"

Amanda laughed gleefully at your stupor of thought. "Yes dear, that is what we call a child."

You stared at him, shaking your head. "I had no idea!"

"He was born just a few months ago. It killed me to keep him a secret from you."

YOu just nodded openmouthed as you made your way to Spock, not taking your eyes off the little bundle of joy. "Spock, spock, Spock, spock," you said as you hit his arm each time, "you have a cousin and I want to kidnap him."

Spock looked down at you fondly, taking your hand away from his arm and tucking it in between both of his. "I was not aware you cared for the infants of your species."

You looked up at him like he called fat. "I dare say you don't know me at all."

Julie chuckled as he brought her son closer to you, making you squeal and nearly cut the blood flow in your boyfriend's hands. He was even cuter up close. You looked up at Julie and remembered yourself for a moment. But only a moment.

"Sorry. Hi, Julie, I'm (Y/n). Congratulations."

Julie smiled. "Thank you. Yes, I have heard so much about you." She looked down at her son whom you were already looking at though you tried to look like you were keeping your distance. Julie smiled and lifted him up to you. "Would you like to hold him."

Your eyes went wide and you ripped your hands out of Spocks grasp to hit his arm and squeal one more time out of excitement before you took the small human in your arms, his warm little body making you feel like jumping up and down.

Instead of scaring everyone into thinking you were crazy, you just sighed, looking down at his curious grey eyes as he looked around. You nearly had to blink back tears as you took him in. You glanced at Julie and nearly begged.

"What's his name?"

"Steven Clark."

You smiled wide and looked down at him, reaching up with one hand to stroke his chubby little cheek. "Hello, little Steven. I'm going to call your Stevie and you are never leaving my sight."

He made a little cooing noise and smiled as he stretched in your arms and got comfortable. He yawned then winked before letting out a content sigh. Everyone cooed as you nearly melted. You looked up at Spock as you started to walk away, your free hand taking Julie's.

"Excuse me, commander, as I show our newest crewmen around the ship."

And without another word to anyone but the little boy in your arms, you did indeed take Steven around the ship, telling him about everything you knew with Amanda and Julie following along, smiling and laughing at your doting cooes.

~

Spock stood on the Bridge, speaking with his mother who left you with Steven and Julie as he was being fed, the two of them keeping their voices down.

"Spock, I don't see what the issue is. You love her don't  you?"

Without skipping a beat Spock stood up a bit straighter. "More than I ever thought imaginable."

Amanda chuckled. "It's settled then."

The lift doors opened and Spock watched as you came marching onto the Bridge and right up to him. He didn't know what to call the feeling he felt when he saw you with that child in your arms but he liked it. Very much.

You stood right before him, your eyes peering into his own. "Your turn."

Spock blinked. "Come again, (Y/n)?"

You rolled your eyes and smiled shyly as you handed him little Stevie. Spock reacted quickly, doing his best to hold him gently, not wanting to crush him in his large hands. He glanced at you and felt a shrug of pride as you nodded and helped him hold Stevie a little better. Before he knew it, Spock found himself holding a little human boy who's innocent filled eyes suddenly seemed hard to peer away from.

Spock reached up and let the baby grasp his finger, Stevie's little chubby hand holding on with all his might. He soon felt you lean into his side, peering down at the child with him, your intimidating persona nowhere in sight. Spock looked up at his mother and aunt and they both smiled. But he didn't miss his mother's small nod.

Spock turned back to the baby, watching your mess with his little toes that happened to peek out of his wrap. Spock looked into Stevies eyes and without much thought, spoke before he could stop himself.

"I would like one."

You laughed. "One what?"

Spock turned to you lifting Stevie up slightly as you leaned in and kissed his hand still wrapped around Spock's finger. "A child, (Y/n)."

You glanced at him, your face looking confused. "I thought you don't like children."

Spock leaned in close to you, dragging your attention away from the baby as he peered into your eyes earnestly. "Perhaps not, if they are ours."

YOu froze. You blinked then breathed then took a step back. "Spock, I swear to...You have a lot of nerve saying that while I am vulnerable."

Spock raised a brow. "Would you have believed me otherwise."

You sook our head, tears threatening to fall but you kept them at bay. "My heavens I knew seeing you with a child would do things to me." You took a step closer to him. "Do you mean it? You want kids, with me?"

The corner of Spock's lips lifted. "I am holding an infant human child and informing you of my intentions to marry you. Yes, (Y/n), I am most serious."

You laughed. "Give that boy back to his mother so I can kiss you."

Amanda clapped and the crew whistled and joined her as spock returned Stevie to his mother and you jumped onto Spock, kissing him soundly in front of everyone as the image of you sitting with your husband holding your own son filled your mind. A tear or two may have slipped but if asked you were going to deny all existence of it ever happening.
