Castiel
Here you are Existentialism6 I hope it's to your liking!! (I ended up watching a lot of clips of him, hence it taking a while 😅 and i got sick...ironically)
You roughly hit your head on your bathroom wall, letting out a groan as you closed your eyes. The smell in the room was ghastly and your body reacted to it, creating quite a cycle of Hell. You flushed the toilet and pulled yourself up, weakly washed your hands then stumbled out of the rank washroom to your bed, flopping like a starfish.
With your face buried, you let out a groan, sneaky tears wetting the sheets. "I hate being siiiiiiick." You lifted your head slightly to turn it, breathing in as best you could through stuffed nostrils. "I wish I could just die." You closed your eyes and thought back to what it was like to not feel 200 pounds and a head full of snot.
"But if you were dead I would have a hard time seeing you whenever I wanted."
You let out a strangled yelp and jumped, successfully falling onto the ground with a thump. You groaned as your head throbbed with a new pain. You tried to stand but found it difficult. Suddenly you were lifted onto your bed, the smell of a man coming through your only working right nostril.
You let out a groan and laid back on your pillows. "Castiel."
"Yes. That is my name."
You turned over and looked at him through a weakly lifted eyelid. "what are you doing here?"
He cocked his head to the side like it was obvious. "I'm here to make sure you don't die. And if you do that you die peacefully and get sent to the right place."
You scoffed but it turned into a rough cough. "You can't do that."
He sat on the side of your bed, looking off to the distance oddly. "Actually I can. I can also-"
You reached up and took a pillow, throwing it at his face. But he, of course, caught it. "Just shut up. I'll puke on you." You peeked open one eye and looked at him, your heart falling at his slightly confused face looking downcast. You let out a breath and rolled your eyes. Sitting up you looked at him with lowered eyelids as you leaned your head back. "You looked eager when you popped in. Something happen?"
Instantly his face lit up and he grasped your hand in excitement. "Oh! Outside today, in the garden, I followed a honeybee."
You couldn't help but snort. Which caused you to cough but you were laughing all the same. Puzzled, Castiel scooted closer to you, searching your face and placing a hand on your chest, instantly quieting your rattling cough.
You whispered a thank you as you closed your eyes and let out a breath. Castiel nodded but didn't take his eyes off you. "It was a beautiful creature."
You peeked an eye open. "Was?"
He shrugged one shoulder and looked a bit bashful. "I got it to sting me. It died soon after."
You smirked. "Of course you did. Did it hurt?"
He shook his head and showed you the red angry spot on his hand. "No. I don't feel pain remember."
You nodded wistfully. "Yeah. Sometimes I wish I didn't either."
That made Castiel mad. "No. You do not get to say that."
You shrugged one shoulder this time. "Why not? I am in immense amounts of pain right now and would love to just feel nothing."
He scooted off the bed and came to kneel by your head. With one sure shrug of his shoulders, his always present trench coat slid off his body. You did your best to hide your blush as you took his broad shoulders and well-toned body under his ill-fitting tight shirt.
"We need to get you some new clothes," you whispered under your breath.
But Castiel ignored you. He placed a hand on your head and another on your chest, warranting another blush. "Take a deep breath."
You did as he said then suddenly you felt...nothing. Absolutely nothing. Your eyes widened as your own voice in your head started to scream then went silent. Tears tried to fall but you didn't know why. Your eyes stayed transfixed on the ceiling. Your heart hammered and your ears drummed but you didn't care. You didn't even blink.
Then, just as quickly as it happened, Castiel took his hands away and you let out a gasp. Suddenly a rushing wave of emotions hit you all at once. You leaned over the side of your bed and puked into an already available bucket. After wiping your mouth you looked up and glared at the "angel" in front of you.
"Good for you I'm weak and can't throttle you with my bare hands."
Castiel just looked at you with worry, as much as he could convey. "I told you. You do not want to not feel. Having feelings is nice. I myself am learning to accept them and control them." His face softened as he tentatively reached forward and brushed some hair out of your face before making quick work of cleaning up after your mess. "But I see that may have been an unwise decision. Forgive me."
You snorted. "Ya think?" You rolled over, putting your back to him, your forehead buzzing from the slight brush of his fingers just moments before.
The both of you were quiet as he decided to tackle the bathroom. You had no idea he knew how to clean up but then again you did find your place clean every time you woke up for the past week you have been sick. Your cheeks pinked at the thought of him showing up and playing Mary Poppins. Literally.
You squeezed your eyes tight as a wave of nausea hit you. You didn't notice the room had gone quiet until you heard a rustle of clothing by your face. You opened your eyes and jumped, Castiel's face looking into yours as he knelt down to your level.
"I am sorry for that. I didn't mean to make things worse."
You reached out and patted his cheek. "Yeah, yeah. I get what you were trying to show. Just-just let me know next time you're gonna go all 'holy magic' on me."
Castiel opened his mouth to counter your 'holy magic' comment but he gave you a small smile in return, nodding as he reached up for the second time to brush back hair from your face. "Forgive me." You nodded to him but his gaze kept you quiet as butterflies flitted around inside you. "Do you need anything?" He whispered.
You shook your head but then started to cough again. Your body shook and sweat started to bead on your forehead. Without much thought, Castiel did what his instincts told him; hold you. So he did just that. With his coat discarded moments before he gently picked up your racking body just enough to push you to the side so he could sit down. Then he carefully pulled you into his arms, your head resting on his chest.
Not wanting to abuse his powers or change your fate too drastically, Castiel allowed a small amount of his power to calm you enough to breathe again. At first, you didn't want him in bed with you but once you could breathe again you didn't care. He could ask or do anything and you wouldn't care. So you gave in and did your best to ignore your wildly beating heart and fluttering nerves as you relaxed into his chest.
Neither of you said anything as he stroked your hair and you reached over to hold his hand. Soon you fell into the best sleep you have had since being sick. You weren't sure if it was from your angel's powers or the man himself. Either way, you found yourself liking this feeling more and more.
Castiel held you, and though he didn't sleep or even dream, he let his mind wander. He smiled to himself as he imagined the two of you in this position frequently. You close by him, safe, and unafflicted. Your smiling face meant for him, your angry retorts making him chuckle, and your endearing laugh making him feel all the more human. Gently he moved to kiss your cheek before relaxing and letting his mind to continue to wander what a wonderful life it would be to have you by his side for eternity.
You suddenly coughed again, bringing him back to reality. He smiled down at your form sadly as he helped ease your breathing again. He shook his head. For now, he needed to make sure you won't make yourself worse and remember to sleep and eat. For now, he wanted to take care of his wingless angel as best he could.
