No one's POV

It's December in the city of love. So that means mistletoe everywhere. Which is good for a certain cat hoping to get a kiss from a certain lady.

Marinette's POV

"Ugh, Tikki! It's so cold! I don't wanna have to go on patrol. " I complain to my kwami.

"I know Marinette but you must go patrol! You promised Cat Noir you would go with him tonight! He might already be out there. You are supposed to meet at the Eiffel Tower at 10:00 and its 9:50 now!" She reminds me.

"ugh, I guess you're right, TIKKI SPOTS ON! " I say.

When I'm fully transformed I grab my yo-yo and make my way towards the Eiffel Tower.

When I get there I see Cat Noir's already here as Tikki guessed he would be.

Cat Noir's POV

I got to the Eiffel tower early even though it was cold out. I didn't want to be late to see Ladybug so she wouldn't start without me.

I had only been standing on the edge looking at the view from the top of the tower for about 2 minutes when I hear the familiar zing of Ladybug's yo-yo.

I turn around and greet her with a "hello m'lady! It's nice to see you on this purrfect night."

"HA! Perfect nothing, it's freezing out here!" she complains.

"Well maybe it's a little chilly, but Paris's safety comes first, and seeing you always warms my heart m'lady. " I say.

"I guess you're right, " she says. "about Paris's safety, I mean."

"Well shall we get to patrolling? " I ask.

"We shall. " she jokes.

I laugh and extend my staff jumping into the night. She follows closely and we swing through the streets of Paris looking for akumas or anything else.

We see nothing so we stop in the park for a break.

"Whew! Swinging around like that can get you warmed right up!" she says. I laugh and agree with her.

We sit down on a bench facing the Eiffel tower. I look around and see mistletoe hanging from a tree branch above us.

I grin and say " m'lady?" she looks at me questioningly. "Look up." I say with a wink.

She does and groans. "Ugh why is that stuff everywhere?!" "I don't know. " I say with a laugh.

Ladybug's POV

There is no way I'm going to kiss that cat! I know that's what he wants or else he wouldn't have told me about it.

I mean, if it was Adrien sitting there, I'd agree in a heartbeat! But he's not Adrien! (🙄🤦annoying little beans) I look over at him to see his hair glistening in the moonlight. He does look kind of cute, in a friendship way of course. I notice he's staring at me and for some reason my cheeks get red, I can feel it.

"Why are you staring?!" I ask him.

"Just looking at the most beautiful thing here, " he says and I can't help but blush again.

I remember that time when we fought glaciator and he made a special surprise for me and told me he was in love with me.

Maybe he really does like me? What if I give him a chance? No I can't, I like Adrien! But Adrien has never seemed to notice me, unlike Cat who never leaves me alone, which is rude, but sweet at the same time.

"You know the rule don't cha m'lady?" he asks.

"What rule?"I say pretending like I haven't been thinking about the 'rule' for the past minute or so.

"When you're under the mistletoe with someone you have to kiss them, " he explains.

"Oh. Haha. That rule." I say.

"Yeah but it's ok, I'm sure you don't wanna do that we can just forget about it even being there... " he says somewhat sadly.

I feel bad for him, he seems to really like me. I act on instinct and lean over and kiss his cheek. He jumps and looks over to me shocked.

I look away blushing. He leans over and kisses my cheek as well.

I gasp slightly and blush even more.

When I look over to him I see that he's looking away blushing too.

"m'lady?" he says quietly.

"mmhm?" I hum in response.

"I-I told you I liked you, and you said there was someone else, but has that changed? You wouldn't have done that a few weeks ago. "
He says. I sigh and look at him.

I-I'm not sure, " I mumble while looking away, but he still hears me.

"What do you mean?" he asks.

I look over at him and slightly smile. "I mean, I'm not sure about my feelings. The boy I like has never seemed to notice me, but you're always nice and you told me you like me but I wasn't sure if it was just another joke or what. " I confess.

He reaches over and takes my hand and as I stare into his green cat eyes I feel butterflies in my stomach.

"My lady, those feelings for you are real. I really do like you no jokes about it. I fell in love with you for your bravery and kindness, your intelligence and willingness to always help others." He's pouring his heart out to me and I'm smiling the whole time.

He really does like me.

I let that sink in and then I say " I-I think I might like you too..." I'm a blushing mess and I think Cat is too. I feel his hand on my chin making me look at him. He stares into my eyes and leans in. I lean towards him, my eyelids getting heavy. They close just as our lips meet.

After a moment we pull away and look at each other blushing. "Well I guess we didn't break any rules," he says. "Yep! No rule breaking here!" I say with a giggle and wink. He blushes stands up, then reaches his hand out to me. I gently take it and let him pull me up. He grabs me by the waist and pulls me close to him. I gasp at being so close, so sudden.

He looks down at me and smiles. "Hang on," he says and I wrap my arms around his neck.

He uses his staff and lifts us up into the Paris night sky as snow gently begins to fall.

He takes us to the far corner of the city and sets us down on a high hill that overlooks everything.

"Oh Cat! This is gorgeous!" I exclaim. "Yeah, I've wanted to show you this place ever since I found it a month or so ago when I was patrolling by myself. " he says sheepishly.

I look around in wonder and then look back to see him staring at me.

I walk over and hug him. He stiffens slightly but slowly melts into the hug and wraps his arms around me.

We pull away enough to be able to look at each other but our arms are still around each other.

He leans down as I lean upwards toward him and our lips meet for the second time that night.

After we pull away he asks if I'm ready to leave.

I nod and we head back toward the Eiffel Tower.

When we get there I told him I had a better night than I had expected.

He laughs and says he did too.

We hug one last time and as I'm about to swing away he grabs my arm.

"Cat?" I say. He looks at me intensely. "What is it?" I ask.

He looks into my eyes and asks "So what does this mean? What are we now? Are we y'know boyfriend and girlfriend? Because I'm totally ok with that!"he says.

" Well I wouldn't mind being your girlfriend so if you're asking, the answer is yes, so I guess we are like, together now. " I say with a giggle.

"Oh, ah, um, yeah cool!" I'm glad we cleared that up haha" he stutters. I giggle and tell him goodbye as I swing away into the night. I can't believe all that happened just because we ended up under the mistletoe
