Narnian @ ❤️ (Part 3)

"And..." Lucy continued.

"Alright, I believe that's enough for me. I'm sorry I asked." You said, believing it was of course a joke, they had been playing on you, and you were not going to fall for it.

"Come on, where's your sense of adventure? This is coming from a women who researches finding lost cities," Lucy said, turning back to the ship. "Edmund, it looks like the waters actually moving.

"What rubbish see that's what happens when you read all those fanciful novels and fairy tales," Eustace said, with a sly grin.

"There once was a boy called Eustace who read books full of facts that were useless," Edmund said, making you and Lucy smile. You turned to Eustace and stuck out your tongue. A middle school gesture you know, but it felt right at the moment.

"How dare you!" Eustace Replied, Edmund turned around and smiled at the annoyance you were bringing to his obnoxious cousin. "People who read fairy tales are always the sort to become a hideous burden to people like me, who read books of real information."

"Hideous Burden?" Edmund turned to Eustace now looking very ticked. "I haven't seen you lift a finger since we've been here," he continued.

"Edmund," you said, trying to make him cool off but, he wasn't listening to you. Eustace ran to the door right as Edmund closed it and blocked him from leaving.

"I have the right mind to tell your father it was you who stole Aunt Alberta's sweets."

"Liar," Eustace replied, looking quite scared.

"Lucy, can you help me here?" You said turning to see Lucy infatuated by the picture.

"Oh really," Edmund started.

"Edmund, the painting," Lucy stated, though your were distracted by the possible beating of Eustace Scrub.

"I found them under your bed and you know what? I licked every one of them, Edmund continued.

"Edmund!" You said, pulling at his shoulders.

"Ew, how infected are you?" Eustace said, when a splash of water from the frame hit the back of his neck. "What's going on here?

You gasped as water began to pour from the frame. A fresh sheet of paper could not be more blank then your mind at the present.

"Lucy?" Edmund said, smiling at what was happening.

"This is some kind of trick, stop it or I'll tell mother, mother!" Eustace shouted, his voice cracking ever so slightly.

"I'll just smash the rotten thing," Eustace said, running toward the painting and trying to grab it off the wall.

"No Eustace, no," Edmund shouted, as the three of you tried to take the painting. It felt kind of like trying to swim and play capture the flag at the same time.

"Stop me!" Eustace shouted, gargling water.

"Let go!" Lucy said, before you dropped the painting onto the pond that was Lucy's bedroom floor.

Suddenly, you were overcome by the water and began to swim to the surface. The light seemed unlike your usual Edison light bulb. Your leg began to ache as if someone just kicked you very hard and you began to sink when you felt an arm around your waist. When your body reached the surface you saw that it was Edmund.

"Is this... Narnia?" You blurted, it was the only words you could suffice from your frozen brain and pounding heart.

Edmund replied with a smile. "Welcome to Narnia."

I know it's very short but, you asked for more and I gave ya more! Edited!!
