However when Ikaris did betrayed the Ipolla and others by hurting Druig and proclaiming him dead it broke her and she tried to use her own powers against him with tears in her eyes because she didn't want to hurt the last person she was closest to...the person she saw as a father, as she'd just been told he'd killed the one person she'd loved in seven thousand years, however when Druig was revealed to be alive she let her guard down and instead Ikaris took her out temporarily...though almost permanently but that was stopped by Druig, he knew that she would have chose to remain on earth just in case Ikaris ever returned...she'd refuse to believe that he is dead or that he tried to kill her. However Druig didn't leave her alone, after careful consideration and observation, he left her with the Avengers. But she was unconscious for a long time after Druig left her, it did pain him to do so, but he left instructions on what she was and what to tell her when she did wake up, he also left a means for her to communicate with him when she did as he knew she would be upset to wake up alone with strangers as they had stayed together when the rest of the eternals split in the Amazon, so she never payed attention to the world outside her little village, and thus never knew of the Avengers.
