Your POV

I just moved here in the summer, my mom told me to go and make some friends with our neighbors. I knock on my neighbor's door. A friendly woman comes up.

"Hi, are you lost?" She asked me. "Oh please call me Mrs Diaz." She adds.

"Oh hi um Mrs Diaz. My mom told me to make some friends, and I just moved here so... I went to my neighbor's house, which is yours." I explained.

"Oh how old are you? What's your name?" She asked me.

"Well, Mrs Diaz I am 14 and my name is Y/n." I say.

"I have a son named Ethan he's the same age as you! Please come in." She said.

"Mom, who is she?" A really tall and pretty girl.

"Y/n." She answers for me.

"She has some potential of prettiness!" She said and walks away.

"Do you mind if I ask you how many kids you have?" I ask.

"No problem, I have 7." My eyes widen in shock.

"Well please feel free to ask me for some help! I would love to, and this kinda stuff keeps me busy, well I'm the only child." I explain.

"Ooh! A girl! Ethan! Get over here, play some music for her!" A girl said.

"Harley what's the-oh." He said staring at me. I give a light wave.

"That's Ethan." Mrs Diaz said. "Daphne! Watch out!" I move a step aside for the little girl running.

"Hey Daphne!" The little girl turned around and looked at me. "Can I uh do your hair?"

"Finally someone in this household understands!" She said, I tilt my head to the side in confusion.

I pat a seat on the stairs. She came and sat, her hair isn't the best but when you comb it through its true beauty. "Wow, your hair is amazing."

"Thank you!" She says happily.

"You can show your mom." I say. She goes around flaunting around her french braid.

"You know not many people fit in with my family." Harley said.

"Well I'm the only child... And what I've seen  your family is very nice and perfect!" She goes wide eyed.

"Perfect isn't the word I'd use." She said. Just then a bucket of chocolate pudding fell on me. I look up and see two little boys on the stairs.

"Guys! You weren't suppose to do that! I said get her attention!" Ethan said.

"Well we go it didn't we Beast?"

"Yep." Beast said.

"You know I'm right here!" I yell.
