Josh Harvest ~ I'm Not Giving Up On You (Part 1)
So I've recently fallen in love with another actor, yay. And that actor happens to be Lucas Till. Not sure if you guys are familiar with him, but I needed to publish something in this book after what? A few months? Gosh it's been a while since I've written something in here.
Hope you enjoy this, I literally whipped this up after seeing like 10 minutes of Bravetown (2015) with Lucas Till in it.

All the exciting stuff happened on the other side of my neighborhood, in the lower income neighborhoods. Probably because their families weren't as strict and they could do whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted. Living in the more privileged side of town, you didn't see much exciting stuff happen. It was always the same old things every day. Trust me, after about a week of this, you get tired of it really quickly.
It was probably why I spent my time at the local nightclub whenever I could, just to loosen up a little.
And it was also probably why I almost screamed when I saw a person stumbling their way down the street in my direction, clearly drunk or drugged.
Like I said, not much happens in my neighborhood. So this was clearly somewhat new for me.
I stopped walking and stared intently at the blundering figure. It looked.....oddly familiar.
Riiiiight, he's the DJ that works at the local nightclub I go to. I'd recognize that mop of blond hair, muscular arms, and tank top from anywhere. (Don't judge me, I'm just very observant. And he's pretty hot, not gonna lie.)
But that poor boy. He looks content mixing the music every night I'm there. He looks like he comes from a decent life. But those eyes betray him. Those eyes tell a story he never could tell, even if he wanted to.
Every night that I'm there, I always see the owner of the nightclub come up to him sometime, and give him something. It's something small, but it's clearly a drug of sorts. That poor boy is so easily swayed. And every time I see him accept the pill I sigh and leave the club.
I barely know the guy but it feels like I've known him for longer. It pains me to see him like this every time I see him. He deserves so much better, more than just a shitty life like the one he might be going through right now.
He's still stumbling around, and he just veers off to the side and trips over his own feet, falling over in the process. He's a limp heap on the ground, in the middle of the road, and I can't help but go over to him to see if he's okay.
When I reach him, he's fine. He's a little groggy and he's got a few scrapes here and there from when he fell, but he is fine nonetheless.
"Hey. Hey." I mutter, nudging him gently. "Wake up. Don't pass out on me."
"Wha--who--hey...?" he slurred. Yeah, he's definitely drugged.
"Come on, you're super heavy and I'm not gonna let you die in the middle of the road. Have some dignity! At least die on the side of the road or something, so it doesn't look like you got run over." I told him, inwardly laughing at my own joke.
"Iss...fine right here..." he mumbled.
I sighed again, and whacked his arm hard enough to get him out of his daze somewhat.
"I wasn't sleeping!" he yelps, his eyes growing wide.
I snickered at his response, getting to my feet and attempting to hoist up the drugged boy. Thankfully, he complied with me and mustered up the strength to shakily get to his feet, leaning heavily on me for support.
I took one step with him towards the road and almost fell over at the weight that was draped on my side.
"Yep okay nope I can't do that." I muttered. "Come on, work with me, pretty boy. You're drugged and I'm not too far from my house so please...if you're still in there....wake up. I'm not giving up on you."
Somehow, by some miracle, I was able to get the boy to my house. We clumsily stumbled through the house to my room careful not to wake up my parents. I gently laid the boy on my bed, pulling his shoes off of his feet and brushing his hair out of his face. He was instantly asleep the moment he laid down, so it wasn't too hard.
"What have you gotten yourself into?" I asked him quietly, staring at him for a moment.
Sighing, I went to get a glass of water from the kitchen, wondering what I had gotten myself into.
"Probably a heck ton of shit." I answered my own question with a facepalm as I walked back into my room, glass of water in hand.
I gently shook the boy awake again. "Hey. Hey."
He groaned as he opened his eyes, searching for the source of the voice. "Huh?"
"Wake up. I got you some water. It should help a little bit." I whispered.
He shakily propped himself up as best as he could on his weak arms, wearily taking the glass of water from me. I helped him hold the glass, my eyes scanning his face and noticing how tired he looked. Mentally and physically.
"Thanks." he said almost inaudibly before easing himself back down and promptly falling asleep.
Quietly chuckling, I pulled out a few blankets and some extra pillows from my closet and laid them out on the ground next to my bed. Before I laid down, I checked the clock and it read: 2:14 A.M. Good thing today was a Friday. I would've been dead at school if it wasn't. (Ooh, yes, a minor going into a club, wow, such a big deal! No, it's really not. It's been done before, keep your pants on, jeez.)
~~~
A rustling above me woke me up, and I turned over with my back towards my bed, wanting to sleep more. I heard a quiet, "Fuck." and I finally opened my eyes, remembering what had happened the night before.
"Fuck indeed." I agreed with him, and I swear, I have not heard a teenage boy scream louder than that before.
I burst out laughing at his screaming, causing him to blush and bury his face in his hands with a groan. "My mom's gonna be so pissed..."
I got up from the floor and sat hesitantly next to the boy. "Hey. It's going to be alright, okay?" I gently pried his hands away from his face, offering him a soft smile when he looked at me. "Look, I know we don't know each other that well, but whatever happens, I'm not giving up on you. Okay?"
He offered a weak smile in return. "Okay."
"Cool. I'm (Y/N) by the way."
"Josh. Thanks for your help."
There's gonna be a part 2, so stay tuned for that if you're interested!
