As the sun rose that morning, the light shone through the blinds of the room in which Ichika and Houki were in. Waking up to the small beam of light, Ichika awoke and checked the time. It was 9 o'clock sharp, today was the day he will make his move. Waking up his girlfriend, she stirred in her sleep before finally getting up.

"Good morning, Ichika" She greeted.

"Good morning, Houki" Ichika replied with a smile.

It had been nearly a year since they defeated Harrison and the two of them were happy with their quiet life. Ichika ended up working under Akira in Multidimensional Research just like Derek and Sarah did. Houki decided to leave the Academy and be by his side, so she set up a Kendo Dojo in the town while also helping him with his research. In the meantime, the two decided to go on a date together now that everything is resolved. It had been difficult to go on dates for them due to the previous circumstance. But what was more problematic came from the other four girls. Every now and then, Charlotte, Rin, Cecilia, and Laura would somehow manage to interrupt their alone time. Luckily, Derek said that they could use the transporter to spend time without them interfering. Making their way to the lab, Lucas was there to greet them.

"Hey you two, ready to go?" He asked.

"Of course," Ichika replied.

"Alright, let's go" Lucas exclaimed. Turning on the transporter, the couple were sent to their destination.

In U10

Arriving at the Spiritual Dimension, the two were greeted by their counterparts. Happily returning the favour, the two were allowed to spend time together, walking around, observing the sights, and enjoying the nature. Since it was the Spring Season, the Sakura Trees were blooming that day. All the petals scattered on the ground, it was a sight to behold. After what seemed like an hour, they made their way to a secluded lake that had a very pure colour to it. The two changed into their swimwear, the same ones that were worn when Ichika nearly kissed her, and decided to go for a swim in the lake. When the two decided to take a break from swimming, Ichika couldn't help but remember that moment.

"What's got you smiling there?" Houki asked.

"Just remembering when the two of us were alone that night, out at the beach" Ichika replied.

"Oh yeah, when the others attacked you and you carried me away running" Houki exclaimed, "You said you were about to confess to me then?"

"I sure was, it almost felt surreal to me" Ichika sighed.

"You know, I'm glad we got to spend that time together, even if I didn't get to kiss you" Houki explained, "You telling me how important I was to you, made me happy"

"I'm glad it worked out for you" Ichika replied, "I was worried you still felt guilty"

"That's why I need you" Houki told him, giving him a peck on the cheek afterwards.

Once they had finished at the lake, the two of them packed up and made their way towards the cliffside where a beautiful sunset was occurring. Sitting down on the ground, watching the sky, it was a lovely and peaceful moment. Ichika decided to take the opportunity to complete what he was planning.

"Houki" He started.

"Yes?" She replied.

"I want you to know, that I cannot think what my life would be without you" Ichika told her, "And I never want this to end"

"Ichika?" Houki questioned.

"That is why I want to know your answer" Ichika said, pulling a small box out of his pocket and opening it to reveal a ring, "Will you marry me?"

"YES, I WILL" Houki answered, pulling him into an embrace.

Placing the ring on her finger, Houki admired it. It was a silver banded ring with an engraving on it that said "Mine Forever". The two eventually locked lips, savouring the moment. Upon breaking the kiss, Houki decided to speak up.

"Since you have now proposed after Derek did with Sarah, will you two be doing a joined wedding?" She asked.

"That was a possible plan" Ichika admitted, "But we want both sides to agree on it, so it will include family member approval"

"Meaning?" Houki questioned.

"My sister will have to get involved" Ichika explained.

"I'm sure she will understand" Houki assured.

"I hope so" Ichika sighed. Laughing at his minor distress, Houki decided it was time to go. The newly engaged couple stood up and went back to their dimension to tell the news.
