"So let me get this straight, you guys took alternate versions of yourselves and brought them to our universe to help you?" Dan questioned.

"Yes" Derek replied.

"The multiverse theory was right" Dan exclaimed, "I thought it was a movie thing"

"Well, with the help of the others, we should be able to save your sister" Ichika explained, "We just need to save Houki first so we can foil their plan"

"Alright, I get ya" Dan agreed.

"Guys, we are finished" Derek7 called out.

Everyone walked over to where the three hackers were sitting to see what they have gained. Thanks to their skills, they were able to hack the mainframes of Harrison's phone and access his previous calls.

"What do we have?" Akira asked.

"Listening through all the previous calls, we managed to find some details" Ichika7 started.

"From what we gathered, Harrison plans on meeting Tabane to make an agreement to release Houki at a secluded mountain" Sarah7 explained, "The location is 30 kilometres away from where we are"

"That's great, we can plan something to stop them" Ichika exclaimed.

"However, there is a catch" Derek7 added, "We found out that instead of freeing Houki, their plan is to get the money and then assassinate Tabane on the mountain to make it look like an accident"

"Oh, that's rough" Sarah commented.

"Anyway, they plan on making this meeting on Monday, so you guys have 6 days to plan at least" Sarah7 told them.

"Alright, we better start planning then" Ichika said. The trio along with Akira and Lucas sat down at the big table to think of a plan.

6 Days Later

4 vehicles drove through the gravel road that led them to the direction of the mountain. They were only around 6 km away from their destination. Of those 4 vehicles, 2 of them were regular cars that carried the commanding officer and the lieutenants. The other 2 were armoured trucks that carried multiple guards, one of them holding Houki captive. Whilst they were nearing the way up the mountain, they had to stop because a bunch of road workers were there. Getting out of the car, the commanding officer called them.

"Excuse me" He yelled out. The four road workers turned around to see what was up. Because they were all wearing face masks, their identities were obscured.

"Yes, how can we help you?" The first worker asked.

"Do you mind, we are trying to make our way through" The commanding officer exclaimed.

"I'm sorry, but we were hired to do some work here" The second worker answered, "We are planning on building a ski resort on the mountain"

"Well, we have some business to do there, so if you don't mind, get out of the way" A lieutenant told them.

"We cannot let you through, road work is a very dangerous job, and we don't want to risk anyone getting hurt" The third worker explained.

"I do not care, leave immediately" He ordered.

"You cannot boss us around; a job has to be done" The fourth worker finished.

"That's it, men, take them away" The commanding officer called out.

As the soldiers started walking out of the trucks, carrying guns, they made their way to force the road workers out. What they didn't know was that these were not ordinary road workers. One of them yelled now and three figures jumped out of the bushes nearby. Stood in front of them were Ichika, Sarah, and Derek from U6. They looked like their main counterparts, but they were wearing blue karate gis with black belts and Derek6 did not have glasses.

"What in the world?" One of the soldiers questioned.

The martial artists charged at the soldiers before they could react and slowly started beating them up. A lot of the soldiers tried to shoot them, but they were quick enough to react and dodge the bullets. Houki, confused as to what was going on, decided to stick her head out the truck to see what was happening. Upon seeing Ichika, she was taken by surprise that she fell out of the truck. Because she was still tied by her hands and feet, she was unable to get up.

"You think guns will stop us?" Ichika2 questioned, "Have a taste of this". He proceeded to fire a concussive blast of ki energy at some soldiers, sending them flying.

To say Houki was confused would be an understatement. She was definitely shocked to see Ichika doing something out of an anime. Not only that, Derek6 punched the ground, creating bursts of blue energy in a wave of sorts, blowing soldiers up into the air. Finally, Sarah6 defeated the rest of the soldiers with a technique that allowed her to kick 15 times per second. Once all the soldiers, lieutenants and the commanding officer were defeated, the road workers removed their face masks to reveal themselves.

"Thanks for the help" Derek thanked.

"No problem" Derek6 replied.

"We'll see you later" Sarah waved.

"Alright, see you next time" Sarah6 said before the U6 trio were transported back.

"Remind me to never take part in these things" Dan sighed.

"Duly noted" Ichika laughed. Running over to where Houki was lying, he removed the restrains on her. She was in so much shock, that she didn't process everything properly.

"What in the world?" She questioned.

"We'll explain everything when we get back" Ichika replied.

Back in the lab

Upon arriving, the trio sat with Houki to explain what had been going on and their plan on stopping Harrison. At first, she was really sceptical about this whole multiverse thing that they hade been doing. But after getting a scientific explanation from Akira and a confirmation from Dan, she realised that they weren't kidding. Upon mentioning that they have come across alternate versions of her, she wanted to know if she could help out.

"Is it possible that I can help out in this?" Houki asked.

"You can, I just need to build another Utility Glove" Akira answered.

"Are you sure?" Ichika questioned.

"Yes, I am, my IS Unit got taken away from me and I don't want to sit on the sides and watch" Houki replied.

"Alright, I'll get started on the glove now, you three take her home, rest will be needed" Akira told everyone.

"Wait, but I need necessities" Houki exclaimed.

"Don't worry, we paid a visit to your family and picked up a bunch of your belongings" Ichika assured.

"Oh, ok" Houki said.

At the Trio's house

When they came back to the house, Derek and Sarah made their way to the kitchen to prepare some food while Ichika took Houki to his room. He took out her suitcase from the storage closet and let her change in his bathroom. Picking up her clothes, she went into the bathroom and locked the door to change. While in there, she thought about the letter that Ichika wrote to her before leaving the academy. After much thought, she decided that she will speak to him about it. Getting out of the bathroom, now changed, Ichika turned to her.

"Alright, let's go and grab a bite" He said, getting up from his bed.

"Wait, can I talk with you?" Houki asked.

"Uh, sure" Ichika replied, sitting back down, watching the girl sit next to him. There was a short silence until Houki started.

"It's about the letter" Houki exclaimed.

"Yeah?" Ichika replied.

"Everything you wrote, did you really mean it?" Houki asked.

"Of course I did, every word was true" Ichika explained, "I spent at least 2 hours trying to write that letter"

"But why?" She questioned.

"Huh?" Ichika said in confusion.

"Why have you not resented me after your time at the academy?" Houki questioned.

"What do you mean?" Ichika asked.

"After I read your letter, I thought about all the things I did to you back then, it made me realise how horrible I've been to you" Houki explained, "Yet, you still had feelings for me"

"Like I said at the beach, you're worth it" Ichika answered, "I know we're not perfect, but you're the only person that made my heart race, the only one that I've ever felt this way, that's what made me see you differently"

Opening the drawer on his bedside chest, he pulled out a small picture frame and placed it onto the surface. Houki looked over to see that the frame had a picture of the two in kendo class when they were younger, smiling.

"You kept that?" Houki asked.

"I did, after I left, I never stopped thinking about you, even Derek and Sarah could tell how much I cared about you" Ichika explained, "When I heard about you being held captive, I was scared for your safety, and I didn't know if I should help you or stick with the task I was doing" he added, "But the others said that they will help me no matter what, so I was grateful that I could see you again"

"Oh, Ichika" Houki whispered.

Grabbing the side of his face, she pulled Ichika for a kissed. Surprised at first, he returned the favour and wrapped his arms around her. It almost felt surreal, but the two of them could not be happier. When the two finally broke apart, they smiled at the fact that they are now together. Getting up, they went down, hand in hand.

While I was writing this, I realised that I never described the looks of my character, Lucas. To give a brief description, he has blonde hair and blue eyes, wears a lab coat like Akira and is slightly taller than Ichika and Derek.
