Chapter 9: Meeting the HitBear

I stared back at the wasteland glittered under the moonlight, a small cluster of sounds are getting louder as the drivers have dog-like blades to sniff out the bad guy's location

I have destined my death would involve resurrections, but what I am about to do may waive my fate, "Geronimo" I muttered into the ground on the other side softly

Luckily for me, large rocks walled up from behind me and I heard voices from women.

"I never got to see your hair loose"

"I don't like my hair caught in my uniform, so I like to make a bun on my hair"

"Isn't it relaxing Morag? I mean you don't usually get a day off from work"

"It is relaxing, working and practicing leaves all my muscles really sore, without the hot springs, I resort to other methods of medication to relieve pain"

"I agree, with this world and all, I bet Rex and Pyra are not enjoying their time without us"

"I wonder how they're doing"

Another person went outside for a usual bath, "Good evening everyone" a sultry female voice might put some men at ease, to me, I feel like I'm melting. That girl looked robotic, has human traits with long purple hair, draping her breasts and other regions with a towel.

"Excuse me My- wait what! Poppi?" The cat eared girl looked at the woman, "you scared the hell me with your adult form, I thought you're Mythra for a second!"

"Masterpon way too inspired by Rex. He made Poppi looked like Mythra" she removed her towel and enjoyed her bath with her female friends

"Forgot to ask. Where are Pandoria and Brighid?"

"They told me they're not risking their lives to join us I'm afraid"

"Yeah, besides, they really enjoyed the foot baths"

Those women do know how to chill, damn! How can I get through? Should I wait for the men's turn?

"I found the thief! He's got to be here! I know it!"

"What the hell is going on outside?"

"Stay back Nia, let me try to negotiate" the black haired lady got out of the steaming pool, put a towel on her, and headed to the wall where I came through,
"Is there something going on your side?"

They gasped as I heard from the other side, "Special Inquisitor Morag! I didn't realize you're here!"

"State your business"

"There was a dog creature that barged into his majesty's chambers my lady! He is immediately labeled as thief!" The squad leader said, I later take a deep breath to calm myself down in situations like this

"I see, what item does he steal?" She sighed

"A single pair of his unmentionables" he said

"What does he look like?" She asked

"He has pointy dog ears, dog teeth, and spider eyes! If you find him, you bring the demon to crisp" he explained as I keep on breathing

"Understood" she replied, "you're dismissed"

"Umm uh yes ma'am!" The guards left as I quickly sighed, the grasp felt deep within my back, it felt like burning tips sinking deep within my skin, "Lady Morag, shall I burn him like I did with Tora's picked outfits in the last girls night?" The lady behind me has flaming blue hair with buns on her sides and kept her hair long in the back, she is still clothed except her feet, I guess it's one of the foot bath girls

"Set him all tied up and get everyone dressed Brighid, we'll set him ablaze" they tied me up with strong glowing ropes and set me in the middle of a prepared bonfire

"This is fun!" The cat or at this case Gormotti girl was handing over treats for each of the girls and the blue fire blade set ablaze the wooden pile as I pretend to scream.

"Sweet summer fun!" Poppi added more igniting liquid onto it, making me sweating

"This is fine" I muttered as I wondered what my friends were doing

They're still held captive and they're watching movies, "I feel bad for them, they would never know that four years of learning to scare a child would go to waste..." Katie said as she watches

"I bet that would happen at the start! Once the new main learned that laughter is better" said Mikhail

"Mik, I want you to order some food for the kids, it would be a while for them to go back home" Malos ordered him

"You can count on me!" He grabbed his phone and dialed a number unknown to us

Let's see here, 'My name is HitBear , I am willfully skilled at killing stuff! Especially with Nonfictioners! I can handle them in the good or bad way and other things! I am friendly all around if you decided to hire me for the job, I don't mind the amount of money you would throw at me!' That sounded like cringe, but if he is good as he said it is, I should not judge a book by its cover" Malos pressed 'Request', "I want you to retrieve/kill this Nonfictioner, he intruded my ship and bothered our members. He brought friends from other worlds and I asked of you that once you succeeded your mission, bring the three home. My payment is..." he immediately sends it to HitBear and wait for his response

Cubbonyan was cleaning his office when a notification popped up in his computer, "Check Notifications!"

"One new notification from Ficthit.com... you want me to read it to you?" The computer asked

"Ficthit? Didn't my bet ended like 4 months ago? Let me see 'retrieve/kill this Nonfictioner... brought three friends... bring them home... Payment is... 200,000 Gold!?'" Cubbonyan gasped as he skimmed the message, "Giving me a kidney as well!? I promised Beargamot I would not accept any more after the bet, but 200,000 G.... that's a whole other story! They can handle werewolves without me as I accept my mission!" He clicked 'accept request', "Now off to behead this troublemaker!"

"Cubbonyan! Can I borrow your pen? I have to deliver something" Jack looked around and see no one there, "Cubbo? Oh well I'll ask Oynyan for the passage"

"we work our way to the sky as we climb this ladder... That movie in my head is so fricking funny that I didn't see the two girls returning back!" I stared at the burning wall as the black haired and blue haired girl are back, "Sorry for the wait, I have discussed the guards about the situation"

"Did you returned the underwear we've stolen for Boreas' side quest?" other said

"It pains me to say... yes I did. As for you sir, my apologies, we didn't mean for causing you so much trouble after one Titan accident, it is rare for one to get launched by one" she said to me

"what about the bonfire burning?" I asked

"We wouldn't allow any boys peeping in the hot springs!" the cat girl said in a snarky tone

"I understand, but I had no choice to hide rather than get caught, and I am sorry for the intrusion, that will never happen again" I apologized to them

"If you were anything like Rex, Zeke, or Tora, you do need compensation from some of the trouble we've caused you." she asked

"The only small thing I require are artificial Blade parts, approximately 0.004 ounces of metal infused with Developmental Ether" I requested them

"Poppi can help!" She grabbed some beads from her necklace and offered me them, "They're metallic and part of Poppi, Friends of Masterpon make Poppi the best artificial blade in all the world."

"Thanks. I would repay you gals someday! I promise you I will return these to you, I might throw a concert here" I replied

"Ursula already done that, but thanks for the offer"

"Now back to the black ship! I must get my guitar and my friend back!" I ran to the lower parts of the Titan and noticed the ship is gone in sight, "I'm too late! Better find a next ship to where they are now!" I ran back at daylight after a whole nightmare has passed as I get out of the situation with no clothes on and made only a single silky pair of underwear for me.

"I have arrived!" Cubbonyan said excitedly, knocks the door, as it opens two people have met for the first time

"Oh you're here! You're HitBear, right?" Malos asked

"That's right! I came for your mon- I mean the Nonfictioner I have to kill!" Cubbonyan corrected himself, "Now where is your brig, If you have him captive... you know what I mean?"

"It's down the basement level, across the core crystal room, and there is the cells guarded by two of the blade bots we have" he explained

"Did you mentioned in the last sentence that I have to return three Fictioners home?" Cubbonyan asked

"Yes I did, these three are with him tearing apart the weaponry room. So I decided not to kill them and send them back as if it never happened, they're in the living room right now with my friends" they walked together as they see the other fictioners cheered at the fun scenes before the credits roll

"So what do you have there, another stowaway the dog was walking with?" Patroka asked

"Nah, it's my little hired HitBear..." Malos greeted him to them

"Please you can call me-" Cubbonyan coughed up blood as a sword impaled him, "Cubbonyan..."

"Jin!" Mikhail shouted, "you're scaring the kids!"

"Jin, I didn't know you're back!" said Patroka

"I just came back with bad news, they have snacks of course, but they're out of Choclit Nopomallow Graham sandwich set" Jin replied with a disappointed look

"Have you at least tried to threaten them-" said Mikhail

"I tried, but they said they're a popular item in the summer, so they sold out quickly" Jin apologized

"There were long lines to wait for takeout, so I doubled on snacks. By the way, who is this pest?" Jin asked

"Cubbonyan. I found him on Ficthit.com, he might be useful to kill the Nonfictioner for us" Malos answered

"Why do we hire Nonfictioners when we're summoned to this world to kill?" Jin sighed

"Jin, Blades count as Fictioners, we can kill each other if we're both born in the same world, but we cannot kill them as if they're creative deities, but other than their own people" Malos explained that to his friend

"Even 'Flesh Eaters' cannot kill them that easily" Cubbonyan explained

"Flesh Eaters!" Ed screamed as he ran away, "Run away! Evil zombies! Stay away from Ed!"

"Okay... for you guys, "Flesh Eaters" is the term for undead living, "zombie" or "walker" is the common name people like me used" Cubbonyan explained, "sorry about the damage, I might undo that" he clicked the undo button on the tablet to revert the properly back to normal

"So fast" they all said at the same time

"I might check on the kids later, let's see the prisoner!" Cubbonyan smiled as he continued to the tour to the prison room, just behind the guards, I wasn't there, "there's no one here, did you take his pen or anything?"

"I did, a guitar with a few glowing strings" Malos explained

"Wait, glowing strings... any descriptions of the Nonfictioner?" I asked

"Pointy ears like a dog, has eight eyes, and wears edgy clothing. Pointy teeth. Oh and has arms popping out from his sides" he added

I spit my drink out out of shock, "WHAT!?"
