Chapter 14: Link to be Wild

A bad guy alert woke Vilgox up and noticed the children gathering info on what happened, "okay, I heard some roughhousing around these two worlds according to viruses nearby, Bearnana and Bearlimar, they say that Uncle was last spotted around a ship and a city street. And what they can gather, Papa, has found out by villains. Not the giant salamander, but the other ones that are frightening than their true intentions!" Oynyan explained

"He finally knew, but what did Bearnana has to say?" Matcha asked

"He said he was last seen stalking near a Nopon's house with a dark blade, giving us the suspicion that he has been allied with the villains!" Said Oynyan

"Alrest and Amphibia, they are high in peak of their popularity due to Smash, new sequel, and Season 3 coming soon" Lychee explained

"True, I wondered why Papa found out about my Uncle?" Oynyan sighed as Wiccanyan cooed in his lap

"Oynyan" Vilgox called, "there's something I have to tell you about your father"

"Papa? What's going on with him?" Oynyan started to worry

"... it pains me to say, but I think your father would like you to stay with me and not your mom, she's busy with the others by participating in killing werewolves" Vilgox whispered

"What? I don't understand, what is it about my father that you want me to say Uncle Vilgox? Oynyan asked

"Your father... he isn't doing a good job with his role... your grandma is considering to... giving your father a vacation trip! He definitely needs to blow off some steam and have fun sometimes" Vilgox tried to give him the bad news but he couldn't

"So you're saying Papa is on vacation right now?" Oynyan sighed, "that's good, for a minute there, I thought he was relieved from his job permanently... but it's great for that, he needs one!" He smiled back to his group and Vilgox facepalmed himself

"Damn it! Bergie is good at not sweet talking the cute kids, but I can't make him cry! I'm too soft like Matcha!" Vilgox mumbled to himself

"We go to new world and see Uncle Bear Demon again!" Lychee suggested

"Right, according to here, he should be arriving at Hyrule, where the portal's located near the resting place of The Master Sword" Oynyan answered as a portal flashed near the ends of Bearcat Caverns, "That arrival, the presence, Papa!" Oynyan smiled as he headed to the location as Vilgox received a call from Beargamot, "What's going on in the caves Vilgox? Did you find Cubbonyan, he needs to come home at once!" Beargamot growled

"I think your kids found him and his troublemakers" Vilgox replied

"Well you better convince him to come back in HQ! He's in the wrong path! And his new pens prove this!" Beargamot barked

"Yes Bergie" He hung up and followed the kids to the end as Oynyan saw a familiar small snail on top of a Vespa, "Glaze!" Oynyan smiled at his pet snail, "Glaze, why'd did you follow Papa, you had me worried!"

"Mur-mur! Mur-Mrr!" Glaze purred as he trailed over onto his paw and cuddled him

"Aww, silly boy!" Oynyan laughed

"Oynyan! You're here!" Jack came by and hugged Oynyan, "Hey Jack! How's the delivery?"

"It's alright, but not when they didn't ordered it, but Beargamot asked me to deliver them to the bad guy group to deliver a message to your Papa, but I think he got it clear that your Bear Demon uncle isn't all bad!" Jack smiled as he saw Cubbonyan laughing when Beargamot's students, old and new, piled up on Malos for fun

"You children are oddballs, they have guts to take me out" Malos laughed

"Yeah these kids have dorms here and half of them are orphans cause of cursed reasons." Cubbonyan explained

"Are their parents careless about their children?" Malos wondered

"Well sometimes, most of them are cursed because one or both of the parents are shamefully sinned before they gave birth to them and they are eager to let their kids seek refuge in Bearcat Caverns" Cubbonyan added, "it varies to Hatred towards disordered people, high power at racist topics, or having families grossed out over the "I word"."

"Indeed, that's one pair I find disgusting about" Malos felt grossed out over the "I word"

"Papa, who is the man under the kids?" Oynyan asked

"Another Bear-eared brat cat Huh? The name's Malos!" Malos smiled at Oynyan as he lets his hand out to shake his paw

"I'm Bearly Oouji-Youjinyan, but my family calls me Oynyan!" Oynyan laughed

"Oynyan huh?... it's a pleasure!" They shake hands with each other and Cubbonyan came to see, "say, you met each other? Good? Okay, son, I would love to hang around here but I got work to do with your uncle" Cubbonyan whispered

"I thought you were going on vacation?" Oynyan asked

"Who told you that?" Cubbonyan replied

"Uncle Vilgox!" Oynyan pointed at the hiding place, "D'oh!" Vilgox jumped backward and crashed into Beargamot, "Bergie!"

"We'll return him home and we'll have mom deal with Cubbonyan's termination" Beargamot looked angry at his older brother

"Termination? Papa? Are they firing you?" Oynyan begins to tear up

"Now look what you've done! You made him cry!" Vilgox whined

"He'll get other jobs, but he wouldn't be able to leave Old Springdale!" Beargamot frowned upon Cubbonyan

"Is this about my little brother, my pen, or Malos, cause I have a bad day in Newtopia with heroes trying to take him back!" Cubbonyan explained

"You broke rule 5 of the Yokaisona's Code: Never make a guardian out of a villain! Cause too many problems, and normally a bad influence onto many yokaisonas in the older days! This is why the elders established it, so no villain will be able to have a Yokaisona!" Beargamot explained in defense

"You guys have a code too? I thought the boy was the only one with rules around here!" Malos replied

"Oh there's a rulebook! The official one is in Bear Dad's hands and he doesn't tell us to know where it is. The code is simple for every yokaisona: 1 is to love your guardian, 2 is to make sure your guardian is safe, 3 is to aid them in the right path in which problem they're facing, 4 is to look for future reasons to keep helping your guardian! 6 is for everyone to follow heroes and secondary characters only and 7 is to not let your guardians do something or ask something stupid like trying to eat one of their pets" Cubbonyan explained, "that's all the code is, but I don't think you are a villain Malos"

"Wrong! He is one!" Beargamot snarled, "how dare you say that Cubbonyan! It's not like you at all!"

"Yeah, and this time you really mean it! I mean, using antimatter from Malos to deteriorate life out of the Bear Demon, that is low!" Vilgox explained

"Uncle Baro is a bad guy before and he's cool!" Cubbonyan replied

"That's because the boss allowed him to be good! Now let's go before we call my guardians to drag you!" said Beargamot

"Papa? What are we gonna do?" Oynyan and the kids looked at him with worry

Cubbonyan set his first dauber to the next location and begins drawing a circle in the ground with him, his friends, and the 2nd Gen Bear Kids inside. He used his other one to activate it as soon as Beargamot finished his call, "it seems they're busy, I better call The Transmitter then! Hey, where did the traitor go!?" Vilgox gasped

"You kids know where they're going?" Beargamot asked his students to know where they were

"Umm they said they would give us ice cream if we didn't say anything to you!" Ellie gasped

"Sorry sensei, even if we told you, we didn't know where he is!?" Hollow apologized

"I'm sorry kids but you just earn yourselves detention for a week!" Beargamot declared, "Come on, let's get back to defend, I heard a sona tower in Amphibia is smacked down by werewolves in order to find the clone of the human version of mom"

"Let's ask all viruses to pitch in and capture Cubbonyan and his friends!" said Vilgox

"Good idea!" Beargamot informed Lucky that there's a traitor on the loose

"Sweet air and tree spirits! That's the right location for our last metal to be!" I announced as we approach the altar with the Master sword, seemed to be a bit rusty

"Does that sword need a new paint job?" Katie replied

"You're right, it's been vacant for a while since Breath of the Wild was last released... not to worry... my stomach can churn away the rust and reformed into stainless steel, perfect recovery after years of obsoletion" I chomp away the rusty parts and swallowed them whole

"That's it for it? No other traps involved? I thought we needed time for a strategy?" Jodan recalled

"Oh yeah... Link was supposed to be here with his armor to protect the sword from intruders..." I guessed, "but I think he would've been a wild man in his underwear or preparing for the sequel coming up?"

"Strange" Ed took off his clothes and acts like a monkey, "HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!"

"Stop monkeying around!" Cress asked

"I'm a monkey!" Ed grins widely

"Hyahhh!!!!" Link arrived with his signature grunt and appeared nothing but his boxers on and carrying a wooden stick, looking at Ed as his enemy

"Ohohahahahah!" Ed grunted alongside with the chosen hero and fights against each other with sticks and they sat and watch

"It's like a fight in a zoo!" Katie replied

"HYAHHH!!!" Link swung his sword at Ed, but he dodged it, letting him stick his blue tongue out to whack him on his sides

"Skulidooowhop!!!" Ed shouted a battle chant as Link takes his stick and whacks him in the head, knocking all the junk out within the oaf's head

Link gasped as he saw the items stuck inside him and Ed grew more aware of Link, "you must be Link! My friends played your game but I never get the chance to, you know what I should do! Clean my place and make myself a good role model for my family!"

"I never seen you saying anything smart without the smart string" Katie gasped at the result

Link grabbed a spelling toy to speak, "B-e-a-r. K-i-d. I. R-e-m-o-v-e. S-t-u-f-f. F-r-o-m. B-o-y B-r-a-I-n. I c-a-n-n-o-t s-p-e-a-k b-e-c-a-u-s-e h-e m-a-d-e m-e s-i-l-e-n-t!"

"Oh wow, thank you for knocking the things out of him, I can tell brain food enters in the mouth, not ear" I replied to the hero with a laugh

"Y-o-u a-r-e w-e-l-c-o-m-e!" Link greeted back, "M-a-s-t-e-r s-w-o-r-d m-u-s-t b-e r-e-s-t-o-r-e-d a-f-t-e-r C-u-d-d-l-y i-s b-a-c-k! R-e-m-e-m-b-e-r t-h-a-t!" Link retreated back to the woods as I tried to puzzle out the sentence

"Don't worry! Soon your sword will be more than before!" I called out

"What a wild child" Jodan laughed, "It's not like this is the last time we've seen him!"

"Me too, now! Let's get the last parts of me! For our climatic consert, Comicalla!" I announced, "my heart half and my OG strings! To restore Bearly Cuddly, to stop the werewolves, and to see that my power would be a great use!"

"I agree!" Katie smiled

"Totally!" Jodan agreed

"Yeah, I believe it can! Art is a creation only Nonfictioners can communicate with each other!" Ed explained

"That's.... Right" I replied

"We'll let Lyn know when we have the heart! And where she is going right now!" Cress explained

Lyn was in her van in the Dragon Maid world and noticed the radio tower was disrupted by another tower that is likely thrown by a monster, nobody seemed to be bothered by it along with the transformations. "Hey Lyn-sensei? Is this the right world? Cause I think you got an AU world by mistake" MS Galaxynyan explained to her

"It is, the tower was from another world, I heard stories about that one werewolf flings the broken one from Amphibia to here, which leads to many humans into amphibians. Worse case scenario, the dragon's human disguises fail to replicate and became lizards." Lyn explained

"Excuse me, but where is Comicalla exactly?" A white pale newt with a mask on asked Lyn for directions, he was followed by a blue axolotl with red glasses, a white\black toad girl, a blonde haired red cladded frog flirting with her as it seemed

"Oh that, I was going there right now! Care for a ride?" Lyn greeted with an offer

"Sure gal!" The frog agreed

"Wait no! This temptress can lure you in this wicked van! She even lure a child into it" the newt replied

"You sounded like a father who is scolding van drivers like me, I am offering you a free ride in order for you to reach Bearly Square, which is in Comicalla to be precise" Lyn guessed, "Lemme guess, you're desperate to find your bro, Jin?"

"How do you know my name? Are you an Nonfictioner?" Jin gasped

"I'm a quarter-Nonfictioner, so does the Bear Dog they refer to as Kuma no Ko" Lyn smiled

"Quarter? Wait, let us join with you and talk on the road" Jin answered

"Then come on board! My Cloudless has plenty of room for four other guests!" Lyn smiled

"Thank you, it is hard to guide there since we know nothing about this world" Jin thanked Lyn for the offer

"Is it okay for us to have the kid sit in the back while dad is in the front seat?" The female toad asked Lyn

"Sure Patroka, but be nice to him okay, he's not facing off against bullies yet" Lyn smiled as she moved MS Galaxynyan to the back for Jin to sit next to her

"This is enjoyable, I always wondered what this supposed to use when I saw one of them on Morytha" The blue axolotl replied to her van

"It functions without a beast but used their fossil fuels after they died for millions of years. Give it a rule change or two and you can own one of these babies" Lyn smiled

"Awesome chick magnet if I do say so myself?" The frog boasted the van and Cloudless grew annoyed, "it responded!"

"That ride agrees of what it's thinking!" Patroka laughed

"Shut up Akhos, Mik, and Patroka! We're here to explore, get souvenirs, and seeing Malos" Jin explained

"I was right then!" Lyn laughed

"I know it's not much but here" Jin offered her a bag of gold

"I don't need payment, but thanks anyway" Lyn smiled

"We're just here to bring Malos back cause it is mainly my fault because I let him leave our world" Jin sighed, "if I were more friendly to that cat, he would've stayed..."

"That's true, your prejudice against Nonfictioner is a problem to Cubbonyan, but he brushed it off, cause a Yokaisona never gives up because of that" Lyn smiled sadly, "I'll drop you guys off there when we get there"

"Why are you doing this? Who are you?" Jin asked

"It is classified information" Lyn replied as they drove past the cars under the sign saying "Comicalla road"
